IPOD hangs all the time. Try this.

Hello members,
I am doing song rightclick then Get info->options->Start Time/End Time feature so that I can skip part of the song.
I made playlist and found that start/end time works some time, not all the time. Also Ipod totally hangs after I transfered playlist to ipod.
Any feedback. Is it a know issue ?

Back up your iPhone and restore from backup. If that's does not help, restore your iPhone as new (not from backup).

CC 2014 hangs all the time

It's a disaster!
(all new CC2014 apps installed and updated) premiere pro CC2014 ; trying to export media to media enconder CC2014 which hangs all the time. Working on the latest mbp i7.
When one timeline is rendering in media encoder nothing can be added to it and premiere pro 2014 is significantly behaving like a mpb2,1 generation laptop.
nothing of this was happening with my brand new laptop on CC

Mine works ok until I render out a video. It brought my i7 system to its knees. Rendering out an hour long H264 video (in ppro, not media encoder) once the render was at 100% it just sat there for about 10 minutes finalizing or something? Anyways the whole system became almost unusable and every click or mouse move takes forever, like trying to eat peanut butter with a straw.
My system is an i7 4770k with 16gb of ram and a GeForce GTX760
windows 8.1

Does the iPod get overheated after 10 minutes?
Do the iPod Disk Diagnostic, as posted earlier by tt2, it wont solve your problem, but help in troubleshooting.

My ipod freezes all the time

when i go to use my 2nd gen ipod touch it freezes all the time i have a lot of music on it and it is almost full but i had lots of music on it for a while it is usually when i have to use a process like the internet or pinger is it just so old that it does not work any more or should i just end up throwing it away and getting a new one screen is cracked

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours. I do not think it is worth it for a 2G iPod

Mozilla Thunderbird hangs all the time, won't download messages, won't save messages,

Hi,
I have been running Mozilla Thunderbird since the beginning of the year.
I have always had problems, but it seems to be getting worse.
It won't download messages, it won't save messages at the time you send them, instead a window runs for ages saying:
"Copying messages to saved folder"
Then it says
"There was an error saving the message to sent, retry?"
You hit cancel and then it comes up with:
"The message was sent successfully, but could not be copied to your Sent folder. Would you like to return to the compose window?"
Then there is the problem of downloading messages, basically it doesn't all the time, it hangs and I have to either restart the computer or download them on my iphone.
It can take upwards of 20 minutes to download a single message.
I had a look at the "Activity Manager" and it seems frozen as well.
It also sends up the messages that the server has been disconnected or timed out.
I've had a look through the trouble shooting guide but can't seem to progress this.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
I am running the latest version, and have Windows 7, 64 bit.
I am fast of the opinion I'd better shell out some cash and get Windows Outlook as Thunderfox is a nightmare.

If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup first followed by restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

My hp g62-a20sa laptop's screen does turn on all the time. is this hardware failure?

If I turn on my laptop screen seems to be working, but not all the time. It simply does not turn on time after time at all. However I can hear PC's fan is spinning and HardDrive is spinning as well...
I have reinstalled OS, also updated graphics card. Nothing helped.
Retail shop where I have bought this PC does not want to replace this PC or hardware, because they 'cannot' identify the problem...

Yes, I am in agreement with you, and I understand it is a big inconvenience because a one-year-old computer is not old at all.
I am not sure if you are aware of the current warranty status of that computer, but if it is still covered, you can get a free repair under warranty. If you are unsure of the warranty, you can check with the HP warranty checker tool.

My iPod freezes all the time! FRUSTRATED!

I have had my iPod(click wheel for about three months just recently every time I go to use it will freeze. In order to fix this I have to let it die and then recharge. This past week I have not been able to use it at all due to the fact that it will freeze as soon as I turn it on. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this. I am so frustrated that I have put all this money in this and I can't even use it. Please help!

Patti - be sure to read the information specific to your iPod because the reset command has changed from time to time. I mention this because I had a guy come up to me the other day sure he'd done everything he could and was just about to send it to Apple. He'd read the wrong reset instructions.
I'll mention two additional tricks. Sometimes an iPod won't reset if it isn't plugged into the charger. Other times it won't reset if it is plugged into the charger. Finally, if it just plain won't reset, just set the iPod aside and let the battery drain. On more than one occasion, I've successfully revived an iPod just by letting the battery run down and then plugging it in.
Yes, you have read lots of terrible stories about iPod failures here at the Apple tech support discussion group website. That's because people come here to solve their problems. For the most part, those of us who are having little to know problem are out listening to our iPods not posting here.
Don't get me wrong, iPods do fail and there are people having problems. That happens with any consumer electronics. Heck, I even owned what might be the only lemon Honda ever made. Firefox 4 .0.1 hangs all the time. Has to be Force Killed

Firefox hangs almost every time I run it on my Mac Laptop running Mac OS X 10.6.7. I have to force kill it every time. I have disabled all add-ons and also switched from 64bits to 32bits but the problem has not gone away. I am using Safari more and more and I don't want to do that.

If you have a hardware issue (the home or power button not working certainly would be hardware) and you make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar, if it is found to be defective, it certainly would be covered under the one year warranty.

Just curious. What size is your iPhone 6? They come with 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. There is no 32 GB model.

TS4003 loging in on my pc hangs all the time.

I have my Ipad and Iphone synching up via the Icloud. I can't get my PC to synch up. I have tried everything. I am running the correct versions of software yet everytime i try to log in the computer just hangs. The hour circle just keeps going and going. Help!

Only music that you purchased from iTunes will show in the Purchased links - music that you bought from other sites or copied from CDs will only be where you put it e.g. on your computer and/or on your backup copy of your library.
If you want that music on your iPod then you will need to sync it from your computer to your iPod.
The only way that you would be able to download that music directly on your iPod, as opposed to syncing it from your computer, is if you have subscribed to iTunes Match and uploaded it to to that from your computer.
When you try to sync it, you are connecting the iPod and selecting it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes under 'Devices' (on iTunes 11 on a PC you can enable the sidebar via control-S) e.g.
On the right-hand side of the iTunes window there should then be a series of tabs, including one for 'Music' - if you select that you should be able to select which of your computer's iTunes music to sync to the iPod.

Forte hangs all the time

Dear users,
I run the forte 4 IDE on the 1.4.0 runtime. Often forte hangs with a gray screen and the application does not respond to anything.
Does anybody know what the cause of this problem is?

I too had occasionally faced such problems when using forte 4.Try using Sun Java studio 5.
Its much faster and has lots of new features.
