IPod Touch frooze on plug into itunes...
This all happened when i first wanted to restore my ipod,3 minutes into it i got an error message,now when i plug ipod into computer,itunes wont reconize it,and everytime i turn my ipod on it says plug into itunes...
Same here with the frozen 'plug into itunes' screen on my touch. Everything was working fine until I downloaded the update.
Got a date with the Genius Monday to see if they can unbrick this. None of the resolution options worked. Learned my lesson. Skip the update.

Ipod touch freezes when plugging into ford escape via aux input (not sync)
My daughter tried to plug her ipod touch into her escape using line-in and it freezes. My son's does not. His is newer than hers. Can I assume a software update will correct her problem? She says she has never updated the ipod software...don't know if its 1st or 2nd generation. Her escape does not have Sync, just an aux input jack.

My Ipod Freezes Whenever i Plug into Itunes.
What do i do. MY ipod keeps freezing and i have to wait for the batt to run down before i can get it to work again. Then it happens after a few times later.

Everything seemed to work instantly as soon as i unplugged my ipod so i tried putting it in disk mode(hold menu and centre until apple icon shows, then press menu and play/pause), then restoring it. Didn't work (unknown error 1415)
After, i right clicked my computer. Click manage. Click disk magage (page froze), put it into disk mode again (unfroze). Found my ipod. Right clicked (all quickly before it could freeze) on the name (just under volume) Click Format, make sure its "quick format" and formatting at "NTFS". Should work. If it doesn't, Try it again, faster.
Then open iTunes and click Restore.
AND IT WORKED!!!
NB. I havent tried using it yet but right now im just putting all my movies back on it and it seems to be working fine. I'll report back if it doesn't work but if i don't, it did! -
When i go into apps or itunes store it is all german. how do i get english?
take it to apple store and schedule genius bar appointment. your iPod is still under warrenty because that version is not even a year old. They should replace it. Good Luck!

my ipod touch has been disabled and needs to be plugged into itunes to reset it. However, the computer it was last synched with has broken and I don't know what to do!
You need to place the device in recovery mode.

So, i just got my iPod touch and i plugged it into my computer and it wont show up on itunes. Plus, it stays at the screen where it says to plug it in.: someone please help!!!!!!!!!

iPod Touch shows plug into iTunes. I did this, it took 2 hrs. to update then tells me it doesn't see the device to Restore. I see the iPod icon in the left column under devices.
What fixes many problems in programs is to uninstall and reinstall. If you lose all your apps and music, and the problem is not fixed, I give you the right to curse as loud as you want.

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

How do you fix your ipod touch when it has two icons meaning "plug into itunes"?
I need help! it has this as my screen -----> a charger, then arrow and then an itunes icon thingy. And its not even being recognized on itunes (via computer)! It wont go into the lock screen and everytime I turn it off and it has the logo, it just goes right back to the "plug into itunes" screen! Please help ASAP!! Also it would be much better if there was a was to reset it without downloading anything, such as Limera1n. I really dont mind if it has to be reset.

ok - my ipod touch is stuck on the itunes screen. Have tried shutting it off, plugging it into my windows computer, and it does recognize that it's there. it goes to restore mode, then immediately goes to restore and update. then back to restore mode, then an error message. don't know where to go from here, any suggestions?
