Is it possible to have non-rectangular app windows in Java?
Do all apps have to be rectangular or can I change their shape?
Also, is there an icon chooser dialog in java, where I can choose a file and all of its icons will be displayed, allowing me to choose one? If not, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might implement that?

please let me know.Sorry to disappoint but the iPod touch as much as the Iphone 3Gs, cannot peform several task at once( something call background proceessing or multitasking). Somehow apple tends to stay a bit behind in things like allowing the iPod touch to do multitasking specially allowing apps to run on the background. Even though other mobile devices like the palm pre, google android, and other phones do that without any difficulty in peforming those tasks. But let's hope that apple fixes these lacking feature in future software updates... Cause it's time apple to allow for the iPod touch to run applications on the background, if they want to stay in top of technology.

I'm working on a custom app that needs to do a few things. It needs to enable the Do Not Distrub feature in Notification Center, and send a text message in reply to any incoming numbers. thanks.I don't think you will have sucess. The problem is that old versions of Logic on Windows had a 2GB memory limit. Which is below the limit for Window 8. I have only read about failures to run old Logic versions on recent Windows versions. Sorry.

The issue is old and I know it is a very strong need of the Java community. That is:

By non-rectangular windows I mean windows like those in WinAmp or RealOne skins, which have round edges and have all of the transparent areas below them working and active.

Can anyone please give me any information about this?

Normally a measure should perform an aritmetic operation, like a sum( price paid ), or average( processing duration ). With a non-numeric measure you could do count, count distinct and that's about it. Non-numeric measure makes little sense, in my opinion a non-numeric property of a measure is a dimension.

I have a map that contains several areas, which have
irregular shapes, i.e., they all have non-rectangular contours.
Each such area is a movie clip, made from a transparent gif. Any
part outside of this area (non-rectangular contour) is transparent.
I have onRollOver and onRollOut event handler to process when
a mouse moves in or out of an area. But it seems that a "in" only
happens when mouse actually moves into the rectangle that enclose
an area and "out" only happens when mouse actually moves out that
rectangle.
So, how to make these events handle this non-rectangular

After reading your reply twice, in fact, from thinking too
hard to make the whole thing work based on those GIF-derived movie
clips, I just realized that I should've created the clips directly
from vector images.
Now, for each area's gif bitmap, I converted it into vector
first and then converted it into a movie clip symbol. In this way,
no special codes need to be used and it is more straightforward.
So, I guess one big wrong assumption I've made until now is
that converting a GIF directly into a movie clip should
automatically include a step to make the bitmap vector image.

Yes, it is possible. 1 apple ID can be associated with up to 10 devices.

Yes, all purchases are non-transferable.

Every device associated with one apple ID through Find my iPhone is tied to that Apple ID; Find my iPhone will work in the same way with up to ten devices associated with one apple ID. You cannot enable Find my iPhone for one device across two apple IDs

If you have authorized a computer with the old apple ID, you can transfer old media purchased through the old to other devices via iTunes. This doesn't mean the media purchases through the old apple ID it transferred to the new account. If you plan to make future purchases and don't wish to share them with others, make your own apple ID. -
Simple question! Is it possible to have a custom icon for an app part?

Title says it all: is it possible to have a custom icon for an app part / client web part?
It used to be straightforward with the previous dev tools, but the ImageUrl was typically to a hive folder (which is obviously out of bounds now).
I've "Binged" with no joy. None of the samples I've seen have a custom icon.
So - can it be done?

Why cant I create a playlist for my music/song videos? Continuous play is also not possible in the video app on the phone!!!! previously, prior to IOS 6, it was possible to have both music videos & songs mixed in the same playlist in the music app
I am back with an update. I turned off Match on both the ipad and the iphone 5. By doing so I was able to sync my Iphone and ipad to itunes and store the music on my devices rather than the slow streaming. So far this has fixed my problems with the iphone I have all my music, playlist, most of the album art and so on. But the ipad is a different story. I have the music and artist but not one playlist I am sure Apple will have an upgrade soon that will address these issues they are usually very good about this.
Now have any of you experienced another problem that has existed as long as I have used faces in Aperture.
I have over 200 faces and they are organized a-z problem is I have this going on A-Z folowed by a few that start over A-Z followed by another few A-Z and again a 4th time A-Z. Imagine how difficult it is while I am showing someone the great features of my iphone, ipad and imac. Which I do talk highly of all the time. But how do I explain that even though their name starts with a or b or what ever they are not important enough to me to be in the first list of A-Z or even the 2nd or 3rd list of A-Z someohow they are in the 4th section of the list!!!!
I have managed to get the Imac to fix this but for some reason the IOS devices do not. Any ideas?

Hi.
All of a sudden my IOS devices are having difficulty accessing all of my Apple-store controlled apps and purchases when using my home network, even though it is a really fast network and my other devices work perfectly. Spotify, YouTube and Netflix and all apps that don't rely on Apple purchases are working perfectly on my iPad and ipod, and I have fast internet speed and perfect connectivity on all my other devices.
But when I go to Newsstand or iTunes Store for example I get the message 'can't connect to Apple server' or 'you are not connected to wifi' even though all non-Apple apps are connecting perfectly on the same device. I have tried all the usual reboot, reset solutions and nothing seems to resolve this. My software is up to date. My iPod and iPad are working perfectly when I use another network. My home network is working perfectly for everything else.
Any ideas?Sorry for bad English and typos, I wrote it quickly.
