Is it possible to setClob in one prepareCall?

i've searched over dbms_lob package and oracle jdbc articles, but it states that the lob locator should be fetched first in order to setClob. So how can i do that within one prepareCall statement?

I do not believe you can do that in one round trip. If you are using the JDBC-OCI driver, however, you can use the JDBC streaming APIs to stream into BLOB columns (and -quite possibly- also in CLOBS).
You may want to consider that API to avoid the hassle of manipulating the LOB locator explicitly. On the downside, this functionality does not work in the thin or server-side (kprb) drivers.

Yes, you can print the response in a PDF by following the steps suggested below.
1) Go to the response file
2) Select the response you want to print
3) Click on Save as PDF button and it would save the selected response in PDF format.

With an iPod, you are able to sync music from multiple iTunes libraries to the device. If the iPod is configured to manually manage the content, then please follow the directions in the first article below. If that is not the case, then you will need to enable the manually manage music and videos option is turned on.

Two NICS presented to OS, possible to only present one ?

B200-M1 blades and Menlo CNA.
The SPs are using a dynamic vNIC templates with fabric A or B selected and F/O enabled.
What we're witnessing is the OS will always be presented with two NIC's. Depending on which Fabric A/B the SP is set to determins which NIC is active. eg : In Linux eth0 & eth1 are detected. If the SP points to A eth0 is active, and B then eth1 is active.
My question is : Using the Menlo card is it possible to present only one NIC to the OS and still retain f/o ?
We use a number of auto config tools and really want consistency on which NIC is active but also still want to use both A & B fabrics. Rather than assigning all SP' to A.

These are 2 static PCI devices (with device numbering) which the OS will show.
Default behavior with Menlo (linux terminology):
Lets say you don't create any vNICs in a SP and give it to a Menlo adapter based blade.
Your ifconfig should show eth0/eth1 while the link on both will be down (i.e unusable as the FI side config isn't done).
If you create 1 vNIC (side A), your eth0 will have link up with correct VLANs, eth1 down.
If you create 1 vNIC (side B), your eth1 will have link up with the correct VLAN, eth0 down.
It is for the way OS enumerates the devices. The first ethernet device is wired to side A.
You could potentially try changing the HWADDR/MACADDR in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth[0-1] files to see if it works for you i.e assign an ip based on it.
With M81KR as I mentioned before you don't have this issue. You can call out the PCI order, number of devices and which vNIC goes to which side.
So 2 vNICs created in the M81KR could both be going to side A for example. This vNIC config will fail on a Menlo.
Is the use case that for a singly attached server, you are trying to do half the blades use Side A while the other Side B while maintaining uniformity in your imaging tools?

will lock the entire row with empno=7369.
But is it possible to lock one column value from this row, like SAL=800 ?

No. Get one from your carrier or from Apple. Most of the cost will be the monthly service, not the cost of the phone. Many carriers will give you an iPhone for free if you agree to a 2 year contract.

Probably you could do below steps to achive your requirment
1. Right click and Copy the integration scenario of IR.
2. A poup-up window will et open and will ask fro the location in Software component and there is one check box available that to select the all related objects also.
3. If you take the anoher namspace or software component and mark the check box then new scenario with same data type, msg typs and interface will be created.

Possible to sync just ONE Gmail contact group?

So I'm wondering if it's possible to synchronize just one Gmail contact group with my Blackberry contacts. Like, I have about 15 Gmail contact groups -- one group for co-workers, one group for publicists who send me press releases, one group for friends, etc. I only want the addresses in my friends group to be sync'd with my Blackberry. Is this possible? Or do I have to let them all sync, and then manually delete the contacts I don't want from my Blackberry?

Possible to encrypt only ONE email folder?

I would really love some help with this; I've been banging my head against the wall trying to achieve something that is seemingly so simple and basic.
We want to use an Email app that will allow us to encrypt only ONE email folder. Access to the rest of the email should be open to all users of the computer, just the one folder needs to be encrypted or password protected. Apparently this is not possible in Outlook, because in Outlook for Mac all of the folders are now integrated into one database and so cannot be encrypted individually as they can on PC.
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to achieve this? I am considering using Mac's Mail, but can't find Mail file structure on my Lion machine to see if I can access the individual mailboxes separately. Does anyone know where to find Mail's folder structure? I looked in the Library but found nothing for Mail, as it used to be in previous OSs.
Am open to third party software work arounds, other email clients, whatever. I would really appreciate any suggestions!

It's located in your user Library folder which is now normally hidden in Lion.
In the Finder hold down the option key to reveal the Library folder and select Go>Library>Mail and you find the Mail files.

Hi, I have two ipod video on my hands: one i have been using for past year or so, the other one is still unopened brand new. Both 30gb. Just wondering if it's possible to somehow have everything i have on the old ipod transffered to the new one.
I see that songs are all named "ABCD" in ipod...if i copied all those folders onto the new one, will it still have the same song names and information adn favourites as the old one?

So the music is no longer in your iTunes library? If it were, it would simply be a matter of connecting the new iPod and transferring it from your library.
You need to get the music from the old iPod to iTunes. Read on.
First of all try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This is a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it can be messy.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Another free program is Pod Player.
There is also CopyPod. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.
If you are using iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.

Is it possible to upgrade only one program from a suite?

For our company I need to make a plan for upgrading all systems to the same Indesign version. Two computers are on CS3, and two on CS5.
We have for all programs the Standard Suite. As we mostly work with Indesign, and the prices are such (in the Netherlands) that the full
upgrade will be above budget at this time. I already discovered that it is not possible to upgrade individual parts from a suite...
so that leaves us a little in a tight spot. What are our possibilities? The best way would be to purchase two 'old' CS 5 suites, as 5.5. is not
really needed.
I do think that a complete upgrade from CS5 to 5.5 is not justified, as you get identical Photoshop and Illustrator versions, and Acrobat X
is (as discovered after some trial runs) inferior to Acrobat 9.
There is currently a promotion on Adobe Netherlands, but that still leaves us to about 2000 euros... for 4 upgrades,
and at this moment this is just too much.
But come what may, next year the same song will be sung, and prices will not getting lower... ;(

Our company mostly uses CS3 still. Only two workstations have CS5 installed, and it took a lot of convincing to update those two macs ;(
Another issue that we only have two Intel-macs (we have two work-sites, so we have one in each) and the other macs are G5...
Our work consists mainly of getting PDF files and checking these for CTP. At my work-site we create more files or change them.
At the current crisis time our management is very very cautious to invest in new hardware and software. But I have warned them that the different and older versions will create more problems, and come what may; they will have to upgrade sooner or later.
