Is the any "Input Text component" to input a DateTime value ?

Hi all,
I have a to create a GUI; a user must specify some date and time values on it.
Is there any input component for this kind of need ?
I mean, for instance, to input a Date I'd like to show a calendar.

Google for "java date picker". The very first hit looks like a good one (never tried it though).
You can also look at SwingX's JXDatePicker.
This seems to be a pretty common "advanced" component for people to try to make, so you have lots of choices. Just search around a little.

Need solution regarding input text component

when the user enters some text in the input text field in the priview mode, the text entered by the user will fall in the destination only when the user clicks somewhere outside the component. else the entered text will not fall in the destination.can some one help providing a solution such that when the user enters some text it should immediately fall in the destination. if this component does not support this requirement is their any other component which could meet my requirement?

Hi Divya,
you can do it by simply taking a Input Text make the destination for the Text as one cell in Excel and take another component "push Button". Make the Push Button's source as the Destination of the Input Text and its Destination as another cell.
Now after entering the text in Input Text and when u will click on push Button, it will insert the Text in Corresponding cell i.e Destination of Push Button. Now you can use that value as you want.

Getting a value of an input text component in backing bean

I have created an input text component on a page where I will be entering a number, setting Autosubmit feature as true. ValueChangeListener property is set as #{test.displayTable} where displayTable is a method defined in test managed bean.
Now I know to fetch the value entered in input text component by creating a RichInputText variable in Advanced property.
But in case the Advanced property is blank, then how will I be able to retrieve the value of it? This is the code. I am not able to get the value entered in the component. I can't even find any getvalue method for it.

One more thing. Once the VO is getting refreshed, I am able to display an inline message saying that 'Table refreshed Successfully!' (refer the code)
But in case if the user doesn't enter anything, and press TAB button, I want to display an error message exactly besides the input text component, saying that 'Please Enter an Integer.' According to my understanding, if the user enters a null value then while casting string to Integer, it will throw an exception, so I will be writing the code in the catch part. Any suggestions?

CVP Opsconsole: Patterns for RNA timeout on outbound SIP calls - Dialed Number (DN) text box does not take any input

Hi there,
I'm having problems modifying the 'Dialed Number (DN)' text box under 'Advanced Configuration->Patterns for RNA timeout on outbound SIP calls' of the SIP tab in the Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal 8.5(1) opsconsole. In a nut shell, I need to change the RNA timeout but some reason when typing into the Dialed Number text box, the input is not taken. The reason I want to change this settings is because my ICM Rona is not working with CVP:

Hello Dale,
CVP doesn't allow you to exceed the RNA more than 60 Seconds. If you want to configure the timer for DN Patterns you should do it via OPS console, It would update the sip.properties files in correct way, the above way is incorrect.

Setting the background color of the selection when text selected (input TextField)

My input TextField has a black background. The problem is,
when some text is enter and then selected, the selection background
color remains black and the selected text remains white. Because of
this it's imposible to tell that the text has been selected. Is
there a way to change the selection background color, or do I
really have to write a custom textfield? :(

Yes, I do have an additional attribute called "identity" which is set to the original table where it came from. The problem is that I do not know how to check for it in my renderer. I will post my renderer code here

What happens here, is that only the column with the identity value "DisplayKnown" gets the color blue. I would like to color the whole row with that column value to be Blue.
Does this make sense??

Try a reset. That is holding the sleep/wake and home button together until you see the Apple logo and release. That will reset the iPhone, but will not affect your data.

When i plug my ipod into my computer it is not recharging. The computer doesn't even acknowledge that it is plugged in. Any ideas why? It does have power left so i can use it but i want to recharge it of course. Any input is appreicated.

You have 3 choices:
1. Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)
Note: You will not lose any data.
2. Restore from backup using iTunes
3. Restore as new without the backup

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
There will be no audio output in safe mode. The question to be answered by the test is whether any devices are listed in the Sound preference pane. After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

just the audio, eh?. If you were using DVI or DisplayPort that might be different, but for audio alone, it shouldn't be that hard. Just grab a 3.5 mm stereo plug to 2 rca cables adapter. Plug the smaller end into the back of your Mac Pro (or the Front), where you see either the headphone or speaker icon). Alt-click on the speaker icon at the top of your screen to show all audio inputs and outputs. Make sure it's set to Line Out. Plug the red and white end into the audio in jacks on the back of your tv and set it to the correct input. I don't know if your tv will allow just the audio to play. Usually one has to connect up something else, but hopefully I'm wrong. If you were using DVI, or DisplayPort, you'd need an active DVI--HDMI adapter or a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, but

The headphone input makes noise whenever I connect any headphone. The noise comes out of headphones but the problem exists in the port.
