Is the apple TV the product for me?

I think what I want to get is an Apple TV - However, I am not sure, and I would be looking for different features than the norm (including what is on the info pages)
I want something to play music and videos. I have Bose Speakers hooked up to my airport express, but when I watch netflix on my iPhone or iPad, there is a delay in time when streaming - they aren't synced. Also, when I play music from my iPad or iPhone, it CONSTANTLY cuts out and stops playing every few minutes and I have to start it again. Will the Apple TV stream the sound in sync with the netflix videos? Or any other videos for that matter. And will it stream music fluently?
Next, I have a macbook pro and an LED display. My HDMI cord is plugged in from my LED display to my computer. Would I have to switch the cord every time I wanted to use it? Or is there an integration between the few.
Related to the question above - if I wanted to stream music through it, would I have to have it be using my LED Display? Is there a way to stream music through it without using itunes on my computer (takes up too much ram to use photoshop and illustrator AND itunes) and without having it use my Display? (if you need clerification, can I use my computer normally and play music without running another program)
Also, I would love to be able to log onto remote on my phone, or with the apple remote, and be able to start playing music without having to log onto my computer and open up itunes. Just be in the other room and hit 'play'
Anyways, I know these are idealistic and demanding tasks, but after thinking about it it is completely possible that the Apple TV could solve all these issues for me. At the same time, it might not be able to solve any.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I guess what I was saying was that I wanted something to stream music and something I could start from the other room.
When I play music on my computer in iTunes, then the music is fine, but when I play it through my phone, it is choppy and always stops. I figured that was just normal because it wasn't a well integrated feature in the iPhone and iPad... Does that sound like a network problem or a phone problem...? I've tried restoring my phone and it is up to date. But again... it works flawlessly when I use iTunes on my computer.
Secondly, I wanted something that I wouldn't have to log on to start playing, but with Apple Lion's interactive screensavers, that will soon be fixed
Thirdly, I wanted something that I could run music through without running another app on my computer... until I get a new one. To tmartine, I'm saving up for a mac pro eventually, hopefully they come out with a thunderbolt one to match the new iMac's speed. However, student salary as a graphic designer... not exactly the best
I figured that the Apple TV might be able to do all this, which is why I posted here. I guess it can't/won't help/fixing my other stuff will work better and cheaper. So thanks!

I'm running the 30 day trial now and trying to figure out how things work.
I've looked at the comparison of the Standard and the Pro and the only
difference for me is the inclusion of Designer. As far as what I know, the
other differences wouldn't matter. There is a big difference in price if I
don't need Designer.
I do have Microsoft Publisher and have created a couple of pdf's out of
those files and brought them into Acrobat and used the Forms section for the
interaction. In your opinion, would Publisher be able to accomplish pretty
much the same as Designer?
I also have a couple of existing pdf's that I've downloaded that I need to
customize. They are some wedding photo contracts, release forms, etc for my
photography work. It seems to be easier to do that in Designer, but there's
a big chance I'm going about it the wrong way in Acrobat. I did use Acrobat
to convert one to a Word doc and then use MS Word to edit and then imported
it back to Acrobat for a pdf.
In your opinion, would the easiest way to customize those existing pdf's be
to save them as a Word doc, edit, and then import back into Acrobat to use
the Form fields?

I doubt it since that type of damage is caused by the user, not a defect. You can always make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and ask

Why am I getting configuration error 16 in FM11 after sucsessful using the product for few months.

Track the Serial number of the product for an outbond delivery

Hi Experts,
we want to track the serial number of the product (material No) for an outbond delivery, we have looked at tables LIKP,LIPS,EQUI,VBFA,VBEP & VTFA to get any link between serial number/delivery number/ material number.
But we are unable to get the appropriate information of linking the serial number and delivery number.
we are require to give the details of serial number for a specific delivery to a third party warehouse
management system supplier.
please suggest which tables links has to be provided.

Location Free Vs Apple TV - A product for Mac?

Can someone eexplain to me what Location Free is? - Apparently it's a sony product, and I am wondering if there is a comparable product for Macs.

Sling TV is the closest match. Basically, Sony's location TV allows you to hook up two video sources to the access point (the location free is a wired/wireless access point) and broadcasts the video over the internet. Within your intranet (you wireless inside your home) you get full speed access, but if you try to access outside of your home (on some other wireless hotspot) you are limited by the upload speed of your internet provider.
Also, location free comes with only 1 license. If you have multiple laptops you have to buy additional licenses. The exception to this is if you own a psp, you can register as many psps as you want. A limitation of the system is that only one device can use it at a time. There is a mac client for Location Free, but you have to buy the software, it does't come with it.
By the way, it is a bit$$ to set up. I set one up for a friend a couple of weeks ago.

Each time that you add or change card details a small temporary store holding charge (i.e. $1) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

I suggest you sign out IN ADOBE READER and Sign in again, checking that you are using the SAME Adobe ID as the purchase - it's easy to end up with two different Adobe IDs. Don't know if it will help but it is worth a try.
Also, see if you can use ExportPDF by going to http://exportpdf.adobe.com in case it is a problem just in Adobe Reader.

Why is Creative Suite CS6 asking me to register when I've had the product for several years?

SD-PP Availability to include the production orders

Dear All,
Our client has a production plant which produces for 3 differennt sales departments as below
1) Distriibution
2) Retail
3) KSA
The production for each department is done seperately with seperate production orders whcih have seperate MRP Areas.
I have 3 sales order types for each depatrtment
ZOR1 - Distriibution Sales Order
ZOR2 - Retail Sales Order
ZOR3 - KSA Sales Order
The production orders are included in the availability scope but when i do the availablity in any of the above SALES orders it is including all the production orders for all the departments
How can i restrict the availabilty in each sales orders to respective production orders of each departments.

I faced the same issue in my previous projects..
As my understanding, there s a conflict between SD and PP module.. If you use MRP area, the ATP checking scope in PP side can be split into at least 3 levels, plant level, MRP area level and storage location level.. But in SD side, only 2 level are aviliable, plant level and storage location level, since you can not input MRP area directly into sales order, while what you can do is just to input plant (this is mandatory) and storage location (optional) and the MRP area is determined by the storage location you input in the sales order.. But once you identify a storage location in sales order, actually, the ATP scope is against storage location instead of MRP area..
In 2 of my previous projects, this requirement was raised.. But I m luckly enough..
The products / inventory management is not complicated in one of the progects that user can accept storing their finish goods into a 'fixed' storage location for each for MRP areas, i,e. for storage location 1001 is the only storage location for finish goods for MRP area 001, while 1010 is for MRP area 010...In the other project, they need to store their finish goods seperately based on different requested storage enviroment..But we use WM in this project that the storage locations for finished goods are still 'firmed' for each MRP area..
Based on this pre-condition, my solutions is to use a user-exit in SD to populate the storage location in sales order accordingly..
