Today afternoon i just called acer hotline  today and the girl i dont know from what department said there's only one xb270hu model in singapore and it is ips panel type and THATS THE ONLY REASON i bought.Later when i call  technical department,a man said it is TN panel .DID I GOT SCAMMED?
EDIT: ACER USING XB270H(TN PANEL) NAME AS XB270HU(IPS PANEL) IN SINGAPORE!GOT SCAMMED!LUCKILY HARVEY NORMAN KINDLY REFUND WHEN I CANCEL THE ORDER! HOW CAN U NAME DIFFERENTLY BY PUTTING A U BEHIND THE NAME.

Yes, you will need an antenna as well.  You will probably want to add more memory, you can have up to 2GB (an iSight can take 2.5GB), and depending on the size of the drive, you might want to put a bigger one in as well.

  • Y510p IPS panel upgrade?

My y510p is over a year old now and the 1080p TN panel just doesn't cut it.  I've watched a hundred people swap them on the Y50 for LG IPS panels with great results.  Does the Y510p have the same connections that I can just use the Y50 tutorial or is this a no go?  Or is there an adapter i could use.

Ah, that's a shame. I was hoping to do that myself. Thanks for posting your findings.

  • Service on IPS Panel

Hi guys, I just wanted to report my experience with the Lenovo service. My x220 has the IPS panel which was replaced do to backlight bleed after two months I received it. It came back with the same exact backlight bleed although I was told the lcd was in fact replaced. After some months I noticed two new defects: ghosting (and since I do graphics in my free time this is really annoying for me) and a white spot 2cmx2cm in the bottom right corner.
So decided to send my x220 for service just before the end of the 1 year warranty period. My X220 is currently in Germany in order to service the above mentioned problems but guess what ? I just called in after receiving an email and they just told me that my lcd is not covered by the warranty because the defects of the lcd were caused by my misuse!
They told me they will send the pictures in order to proove such misuse...I am really curious now to seem them!
My questions is, wasn't Lenovo aware of the high defects rate of their LCD panels??

Probably they know very well, but just don't acknowledge such problems. This forum is full with various problems with x220 (some design faults), so this looks like x220 is somewhat doomed or cursed design. At least for this price (i have almost 2000€ unit) i expected troublefree laptop. Disappointed a bit, white dots problem seems not very uncommon even with gentle use. My old field workhorse - x61s takes some more rough handling and no problems at all.
Premium display doesn't mean quality as it seems. Sad.

  • Going to take 7 or more weeks, just have a IPS panel placed.

X230 Laptop sent in for rma repairs to IPS panel for 7 bright pixels on 7/3/2013.
Stated average turn around time 1 week, order status 'on hold'.
After a week I call Lenovo they state "parts out of stock, stock will be available in 1 more week".
Week passes, still no change. I call Lenovo they state "parts still out of stock eta 1/4/2013".
Time passes, I call Lenovo again they state "The previous eta were just a eta, the actual eta from parts is 21/4/2013".
The actual turn around time is going to be at least 7 times the stated, assuming there aren't anymore delays. This is not acceptable. Not sure if its Lenovo themselves or Visual Group (company who are in-charge of Lenovo repairs in New Zealand) but something definitely needs to be looked at. There is just no reason that a part from a current gen laptop takes that long to become available.
There's one positive, the call center response is quite good and they staff did what they could with the information they were provided.

    Good grief!!
I posted about this overs 7 months ago for version 2, and they still haven't fixed the problem by version 3?!

Well, I'm certainly glad I didn't wait for developers to fix this...(in fact, I got the distinct impression back then that development had been abandoned).
I wound up ditiching it, and set up keyboard shortcuts for all the tools in the toolbar....which actually turned out to be faster for my workflow in the end.
Now I rarely use the toolbar, and I don't have to suffer the ludicrous hassle of stacked tools.
You will likely wind up doing the same...

  • 23" cinema (clear) have an IPS panel?

My aging 23" cinema display (purchased in 2000, if I recall) is having brightness problems and I'm looking to replace it and wondering if I'll be happy with an inexpensive monitor.
The 23" cinema has an IPS panel in it, right? A newer inexpensive monitor with a TN panel will have faster refresh, greater contrast, and...reduced color accuracy, right?

The 23" cinema has an IPS panel in it, right?
    Yes.
A newer inexpensive monitor with a TN panel will have faster refresh,
No. They all use 60Hz refresh rates. The response time my be faster, but you probably won't notice it.
    greater contrast,
Probably not. A lot of displays advertise dynamic contrast, which is a useless number, that is much greater than the real contrast ratio.
    and...reduced color accuracy, right?
Yes, and greatly reduced viewing angles, so it will look even worse if you aren't viewing it straight on.

  • What is the prerequisite for cisco ips exam

    Hello everyone
What is the prerequisite  for cisco ips exam?
I read 640-553 is required. and for 640-553 is ccna prerequisite?.  i am not sure please guide me as i am new to cisco world

You can take the Cisco IPS exam, however, you will only get the Cisco IPS Specialist certificate if you pass both CCNA Security and the Cisco IPS exam.
Here is the URL for your reference:
    http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le41/le85/le58/learning_certification_type_home_extra_level.html
However, you can take the Cisco IPS exam first prior to taking the CCNA Security. The order of exam does not matter, and you will only get the Cisco IPS Specialist certificate once you pass both CCNA Security and Cisco IPS exam.
    Hope that helps.

Since installing LTR 5.4, which I've now upgraded to 5.6, I've encountered repeated slowness and malfunctions in operations, especially when using the Compare View function and the Tab key to open and close the right and left side panels.  Such problems never arose during two years of using LTR-4 and nothing else has changed on my computer.  I have a pretty simple system with only a few plug-ins, which are usually not in operation.  I have 12GB of RAM in my Windows 7 PC.  I could illustrate these problems with screen shots if you would tell me how to submit screen shots.  Otherwise I will try to describe the problems in words.
The problem is clearly cumulative, growing worse as usage time passes.  Compare View feature gradually slows down and eventually seems to choke as my work session proceeds. If I Exit LTR and re-enter and start all over, things will work normally for maybe 30 minutes, but then the Compare View feature begins to become very slow to respond.   In a recent example with my screen full of thumbnails in Library mode I highlighted two images to compare. LTR started to open the Compare View screen by first having the top row of thumbnails disappear to be replaced by the "SELECT" and "CANDIDATE" words in their spaces  (but no images), but Compare View never succeeded in gaining control of the screen. After some seconds the top row of thumbnails reasserted its position and the Compare View windows disappeared. But LTR kept trying to bring them back. Again the top row of thumbnails would go away, Select and candidate would reappear, try again, and give up. This went on for at least 2-3 minutes before I tried to choose File and Exit, but even that did not initially want to respond. It doesn't like to accept other commands when it's trying to open Compare View. Finally it allowed me to exit.
To experiment I created a new catalog of 1100 images.  After 30-40 minutes, the Compare View function began to operate very slowly. With left and right side panels visible and two thumbnails highlighted, hitting Compare View can take half a minute before the two mid-size  images open in their respective SELECT and CANDIDATE windows. When the side panels are open and two images are in the Select/Candidate spaces, hitting the Tab button to close the side panels produces a very delayed response--25-30 seconds to close them, a few more seconds to enlarge the two images to full size. To reverse the process (i.e., to recall the two side panels), hitting Tab would make the two sides of the screen go black for up to a minute, with no words visible. Eventually the info fields in the panels would open up.
I also created a new user account and imported a folder of 160 images. After half an hour Compare View began mis-placing data.  (I have a screen shot to show this.)  CANDIDATE appears on the left side of SELECT, whereas it should be on the right. The accompanying camera exposure data appears almost entirely to the left of the mid-screen dividing line. Although the Candidate and Select headings were transposed, the image exposure data was not, but the data for the image on the right was almost entirely to the left of the line dividing the screen in two.
Gurus in The Lightroom Forum have examined Task Manager data showing Processes running and Performance indicators and they see nothing wrong.  I could also send screen shots of this data.
At this point, the only way I can process my images is to work 30-40 minutes and then shut down everything, exit, and re-start LTR.  This is not normal.  I hope you can find the cause, and then the solution.  If you would like to see my screen shots, tell me how to submit them.

From a room at my hotel that belong to a guest. I request a apple Id and password from the guest in order to track it though iCloud, when I login into the account the MacBook was not their, however I saw other device. A few days has past then the MacBook appear. How does that happened, please explain?

For a stolen Macbook to appear in iCloud - the person who stole it must turn it on.
You can't track something that's turned off.

My Olympic camera SD card doesn't fit into the SD card camera reader. Apple advised me to purchase the product in order to import photos to my IPad. How do I over ride this problem. How do I import photos from an Olympus FE-340 directly to my IPad?

Your camera uses an OLympic XD picture card http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-xD-Picture-Memory-202332-package/dp/B002LC2DQ4/ref =pd_sim_sbs_p_1 This card has different dimensions compared to an SD card.
You should be able to plug the cable that came with your camera into the camera connection kit to import the pics.

  • How to prevent modifying the same sales order in R/3 & CRM at the same time

    Guys,
We are using CRM 5.0& R/3 4.6C. We have the middle set up. I have noticed that its possible to open the same sales order in R/3 and CRM in the change mode. I believe this could cause inconsistenices if the users modify the same order in different systems. Is there a standar way to prevent this from happening.
Is there something like a change lock like we have the distribution lock?
    Anirudh

    Hi,
As per OSS Note 705200 scenario X, Y and Z are supported with R/3 4.6C. Even if you use Scenario A, SAP wont support that. I would suggest sceario Z to be implemented. This would convert all the CRM order into R/3 order as soon as they are transferred to R/3. As a result the order can now only be modified in R/3 and all the changes would flow back into CRM maintaining the integrity between the systems.
Refer to OSS Note 541113 for details.

  • How can i get the open sale orders for given material no and plant

    Hi,

For only open sale orders at header level and item level.
I want to use VBUK-GBSTK to find open sale order at header level and

  • What is the table to get the all planned orders related to a sale order

    Hi,
May i know what is the table to get the all planned orders related to a sale order. My scenario is make to order scenario. we can get my out put final product by completing the nearly 916 planned orders.(Like major assemble, sub assemble). From this scenario i want the total orders related to a sale order. ( The planned orders from sale order to sale order will change. i.e 1 sale order will have 916 planned orders and one sale orders will generate 920 like that will chage when running mrp.). Now i want to pick the total planned orders for a sale order in a report. please guide me.
    Regards,
    Mastan.

    Hi,
Use the table PLAF... in this table pass the sale order no in the filed KDAUF and then execute...issue here is once the planned orders are converted production orders, these planned orders are deleted from the system....so you will not able to see them.....
    Thanks

  • Tracking the actual sale order quantity

    Hi Friends,
How to track the actual sales order quantity given by the customer.
Ex: we assume the customer has placed an order of 100 units and stock is only 90 so we create the sales order for 90 units only.
How to find out the difference of 10 units as a report in standard sap system.
    Thanks
    AJ

    Dear AJ,
This is how normal sales process works.
You create Sales Order line item for the quantity that customer has requested. (eg: 100)
Then you do a ATP for that Line item. Let's say you have only 90 in the stock. In that case system will confirm 90 for the sales order line item. (You can see the confirmed quantity in the Schedule line tab)
Normally we don't change the LI quantity as per the ATP confirmed quantity (i.e 90). Because then we loose the visibility to the customers original requested quantity (i.e 100).
Say you don't change your Line Item Order quantity to 90. Then your delivery & billing will be for 90.
So you can see in VA05, Order quantity as 100 and confirmed quantity as 90.
Your sales reports will show delivery & billing as 90. So that you have a clear visibility to the original order quantity, delivered quantity & billed quantity.
Further if remaining (open) quantity 10 is appearing your MRP & creating troubles, please use Line Item Rejection Reason as Completed. So that everything is perfect.
    Coming back to your issue.
Since your changing LI quantity to 90, you cant see 100 in the VA05 report. It always show the existing sales order line item quantity, which is 90 in this example.
Only way you can find your original sales order quantity is in the Line Item / Change Log.
This can be view by selecting below Menu option.
    Environment -> Changes
If you execute it for the relevant Line Item, you can see the Change log. In that by double clicking relevant quantity change line, you  can see the old value & new value. (In this example 100 & 90)
But that is not a good practice to do as changes will show all quantity changes that you might do based on  customer request. (Imagine if you customer ask to change it later to 95 not 100).
In that case change log will display 100 to 95, then 95 to 90. So your loosing the required visibility.
Hope this is helpful to you !

  • Storing the Material Sale Order Wise

In our Scenario PO is made Sale Order wise, but when the Material is received and entered in the Stock, it become difficult to indetify the Material which has come against which SO.
My requirement is that if the Material is received Sale Order Wise then it shud be saved in the Store Sale Order Wise and also at the same time it will be issued Sale Order wise, to keep the track of material being issued against Sale Order Wise.
i hope i have cleared my query, any clues.....
    abhishek suppal

    Hi,
When you are trying to create PO with reference to SO what is the item category used in SO, Use item category as "TAB" then SO will generate a Purchase Requisition. Convert this Purchase requisition in to Purchase Order, account assignment will be copied as "E Individual Customer stock" Sales order and Cost element will populate from PR.
When you post the GR for above PO, the stock is managed as Special Stock indicator "E" sales order stock, in MMBE also it displays as SO stock. At the time of GR value is booked to SO and stock will be shown in MMBE.
This stock is reserve for particular SO against which you have procured, but you can transfer post the same from SO stock to your OWN stock
    Hope this clarifies,
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sridhar
