Is There a Phone # for Verizon Customer Support?

I am trying to actually talk (not chat) with somone at Verizon customer support about my new account.  I have hunted all over and I find it infuriating that a phone company does not have a phone number.  Can anyone help me?

    As you've seen, Verizon doesn't do support by email.
    When I call Verizon I try to do it during weekday business hours.  That often gets me a helpful representative located in the states.  It helps if you get to the retention people by selecting the options to cancel service.

    "Similar" problem here. I have bought a new PC, and want to install my precious CS5.5 to the new system.
    All I get is an "illegal serial number" message. Even though I deactivated on the old pc and even though I copy the serial (for the pc version) from my official products page (or whatever that page is called)...
    That's when the ordeal started to get someone at Adobe to figure out what is wrong.
    No voice support for my "old" version. 2011? Old? Come on?!
    The chat support is a Turin test, with no solution whatsoever.
    The websites linked to in the final "chat" lines which should answer my questions are utterly useless.
    So last attempt: I try overhere... and add my questions to you, OP...
    Note that the only way in which I can get a fast human reply is by calling the number for buying the new CC! Shame on you Adobe!

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    * Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

    Let's see if you can use that app on your device! Which phone are you using? Is that a 3rd party app you use for listening to music? Most apps give information prior to download so you can check if that app is able to be used on a specific phone.  I suggest checking that information to confirm it.

    I spoke with Microsoft Customer service, and the agent specifically said MS already pushed Cyan to Verizon, and he, as a WP owner on Verizon, was also frustrated that the updates haven't been rolled out by VZW.
    So bottom line question: Skipping Cyan? If so, what is the Denim date?

    Unfortunately the answer is unknown.  The majority of the Windows phone threads here are about this exact subject, and that says a lot about Verizon and their ability to communicate on a basic level.  You might get your update, you may not.  Verizon is in control and doesn't really care.

  • Is there a way for Verizon to check the strength of the towers?

    Over the past month, everyone in our office has experienced low to no reception, regardless of carrier. Nothing has changed in our building to cause this.  It is happening to all phones, not one particular brand. If its not a tower problem, I don't know what else it could be.   It causes batteries to drain more quickly also. Zip code is 28160.

    The reception is better outdoors than indoors.  There have not been any
    changes to our building, which is only a one level building, or the
    surrounding structures and areas.  I use a Motorola Razr M.  However,
    others at my location use different phones, such as I-phone 4 and 5, Galaxy
    S, etc.  Some even have a different carrier like US Cellular.  Which is why

    Here's my experience with Apple Support . You must first request help , they will then give you a support I.D. Number .
    Then an automated caller will contact you , then as you push the appropriate numbers to clarify your problem , they'll hang up on you without even alerting you to that fact .  ;)

    I'm having trouble installing the latest update of the OS on my MacBook Pro, and after trying a couple of things, I just wanted to get in touch with a customer service representative to help me out with the issue.  Turns out that my "support coverage" has expired, so what now?  The fact that there is an expiration date on "customer service" baffles me...  But yeah, thats the problem I'm having.  Any ideas?
    The specific issue I am having is as follows:
    - I see the availavle OS update on the App Store Icon, so I open it to get started.
    - It asks me to restart the computer, so I click OK and it reboots.
    - Once rebooted, I log back into my account, and notice that the update still has not been applied.
    - I check the OS version and confirm that there has been no change.
    - Try to update again, and the problem persists.
    For some reason I cannot update to the latest OS version.

    The fact that there is an expiration date on "customer service" baffles me... 
    Why?  It's called a warranty, and yours expired.  What's hard about that to understand?

    I have just got off the chat line and then phone call from India and I am perplexed and frustrated to the point where I want to leave BT after many years as a loyal customer.
    My dilemma is this:- About six months ago I (stupidly) upgraded to Infinity based on an offer letter from BT/MD at no extra cost. Immediately before this I used BT Total BB including Line Rental and Anytime calls at a discounted rate of £29 pm and very rarely went into debit.  Soon after changing over my monthly plan started to rise and in addition to this I had to pay a one-off payment of £55 to clear a debit to which, to this day, I cannot understand and get an answer to from BT. My DD is now £41.50 pm for Infinity1, Line Rental and Anytime calls and I have been reminded that my payments will need to increase to avoid sliding further into debit.  My last bill, after all charges and payments showed I was £29.12 in debit.
    After speaking to the BT person in India he said my account was £53.88 in CREDIT, which it is after my payments, less the previous debit, but does not include charges to be added.  He could not understand this and even offered to REDUCE my monthly payments to £33.50 pm. I declined his offer outright and asked him to retain my current payments. I knew I was on to a loser and closed the conversation as I was getting very annoyed with this peron in particular and BT in general.  My current account consists of Infinity1 at a discounted price of £17pm, Line Rental £15.45pm and Anytime calls at £5.15pm totalling £37.60 and I am paying £41.50pm.  We are a low user of the phone and hardly make any chargeable calls which is all the more puzzling.
    So, in closing, is there anyone from BT in the UK that can help me through this problem and explain to me in plain english on why, since changing to Infinity, my account is nearly alway's in Debit.

    PS: Is there any way I can revert back to BT Total Broadband or is it only one way traffic.

    The number of apps currently available in the App Store compatible with both iOS 4.2.1 and the iPhone 3G hardware (a major limitation) is dwindling rapidly. If you don't already have a supply of apps, your choices are getting fewer and fewer.  TIme to consider upgrading the phone.
