Is there an email address to send a complaint in about an Ipod touch 5th generation?

My daughter knocked her Ipod touch 5th generation from the arm of a sofa onto a soft carpeted floor and the screen shattered.  I took the Ipod into a store and Apple want £99 + VAT to repair this.  I understand that this was an accident and accidental damage is not covered by the warranty.  However, I was extremely disappointed to be told by a member of staff that the Ipod has probably hit its weak point when it fell, surely these gadgets should be more robust and not have weak points?  I wish to make a complaint to Apple by email but can't find an address, can anyone help please?  Thanks.

  • IS THERE AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO SEND A COMPLAINT TO?

After being an O2 customer since they were CellNet, I moved to EE for what I was told was better coverage etc etc. What a mistake. We are an SME and require 24 hour coverage. All our phones have been out of action since Thursday 30 th July, and when we tryed to call 150, ALSO NO SERVICE.Visited the loca lEE shop. Useless. They said there might be problems on a transmitter. Rang Customer Services today to log our problems. Total waste of time. At least with O2 they bent over backwards to be helpful. Trying to find an email address to send a complaint is impossible. We will never recommend EE to any of our customers, and look forward to the end of our contract and return to O2!

    Hi,
EE complaint process and contact details are here: http://ee.co.uk/help/safety-and-security/my-digital-life/complaints-code-of-practice

  • I have an ipod touch 5th generation, bought a new laptop and authorised it. when i try to sync it says it's not possible because there isn't enough space to hold everything in the itunes library.it won't give me the option of choosing what i want to sync.

I have an ipod touch 5th generation 64g . Just bought a new laptop and authorised it to use itunes library. When i try and sync my ipod it says it can't do it because there isn't enough space on my ipod to hold everything in the itunes library. I already know that i can't fit everything on my ipod but when using my old laptop i was able to choose what i wanted to sync. Now i don't seem to have the option of choosing what i can sync, it just refuses to do it as there isn't enough space. Why is this???

    Hello, peppertwist.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

  • Will there be an iPod touch 5th generation 8gb? If so when?

Will there be an iPod touch 5th generation 8gb? If so when?

Siri really does little on the iPod itself. All teh work in done on Apple's servers. Siri would run fin on an 8GB (about 6 GB available to the user). However, with a 5 MP camera, and especially 1080P video recording, 6 GB ort usable storage would not allow muck recording. The 1080P video will be about 180 MB/min.

Sure, as soon as you open iTunes with the new iPod connected, it will have a "Welcome to your New iPod" screen. Just choose Restore from backup.

  • Tried to send iMessage from iPod touch (5th generation) but continuously says "contact not registered with iMessage". The contact IS registered with iMessage, but won't send any messages to anyone.

I have an iPod touch 5th generation (7.1.2) that has not been sending iMessages to other iMessage users. At first my iPod would not let me sign in to use iMessage, but I searched on different discussion boards that helped me log in. Now the trouble is not being able to send messages at all. I tried to delete the contact I was trying to message and restart the conversation board, but that didn't help at all. The contact continues to say 'xxxxxx not registered with iMessage" when, in fact, they are. I need help to resolve this issue.
    Thanks

If "just" is less than 14 days, you can return your iPod to Apple for a full refund.

  • Can I send my ipod touch 5th generation to Apple for repairs, how do I go about it?

Recently my ipod touch 5th gen's home button has become unresponsive, I want to know if I can send it back to Apple for repairs and how I go about it/if I can go about it.

You need to contact Apple with the link below:
How do I obtain service for my iPod?
The iPod support site has troubleshooting articles to help you solve your issue. If you still need service for your iPod, you can contact Apple. You can also take your iPod to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider. Note: There may be a fee for diagnostic service.
If you have an Apple store nearby best is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
If not covered by warranty, Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $99 for 16 GB 5G and $149 for the other 5Gs. They do not fix yours.

  • Is there any way to get my photos and videos off a ipod touch 5th gen that went through the was and does not work anymore?

My ipod touch 5th gen went through the wash the other day while it was on and it came out not working at all. I was wondering if there was a way to get any of my photos and videos off of it so i could put them on my computer. Anything will do, from do it yourself methods to companies that will do it for you.

    - If they are in an iPod backup then restore another iPod, iPad or iPhone from that backup. See the restore topic of:
    iOS: How to back up
    - If they are in the iTunes backup then get them from the backup by:
Recover iPhone, iPad or iPod photos from backups with Picturescue
    - If you used PhotoStream then try getting photos (only) from your PhotoStream. See that topic of:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
    - A data recovery company can likely get them off the iPod. Be prepared to pay alot. Google for iPhone data recovery

  • How do I change the email address where my itunes receipts go on my ipod touch?

On my ipod touch how do I change the email address where my itunes receips go?

    Hi ipodreceipts,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  You can change the email address your receipts go to on your iPod touch by following these instructions and changing the email instead of the password:
iTunes Store settings - iPod touch
    http://help.apple.com/ipodtouch/7/#/iph17ff8a531
To set options for iTunes Store, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store. You can:
View or edit your account. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. To change your password, tap the Apple ID field.
This article has a method for changing the email address receipts go to using a computer:

  • My headphone jack broke inside my iPod touch 5th generation and there is no way of getting it out.

Do you have any tips on how I can get it out? Is there any repair sites that I can send it to? I really need help and this is my favorite ipod and I don't have the money to get a new one.
    Much appreciated

  • Should I send in my ipod touch 5th generation?

The new update has messed up my battery life and I am starting to see my wifi connection slow down. I have chatted here with an apple helper and they sent me a box to send off my ipod. Should I send my cable as well? I have a iPod 5th generation. I don't want my ipod to be lost or damaged on the way. What precautions should I take before I send it? Is it worth it right now or should I still hope and pray for a useful update that will fix the battery life. My ipod takes forever to charge with my charger but with my sisters Ipad it works pretty quickly. Greatly appreciate any advice coming!
Plus, I just updated to 8.02 and nothing helped I think.

Hey Yari5393, Apple does not fix, you will most likely get a refurbished iPod, (the same model and size you sent in) and it most likely will have the same issues, slow operation, spotty Wi-Fi, etc. Seems to be an issue with iOS 8, at least if you read this and other posts. As for the A5 chip set, (the one used in iPod 5's), iOS 8 is pushing the iPod 5 about as far as it can go. Do you have other issues? I'm thinking Apple will just tell you there is nothing wrong and send your iPod back. Hope this helps, Cheers.

  • My iPod Touch (5th generation) is not responding to my touch. There are also several colored lines in the background of my screen. Virus?

Since my iPod isn't responding to my touch, I can't switch it off or restart it as I normally would. I've tried doing the hold-down-the-sleep-button-and-the-home-button-for-ten-seconds thing but when the Apple logo appears, it's either completely pink in color or there are these vertical colored lines in the background. When the lock screen reappears, sometimes it looks completely normal (but it still doesn't respond), or everything's blurred, or there are these weird colours in the background, or those lines I mentioned before, but most of the times, it's completely dark and I can onlu see this moving flash at the bottom of the screen (indicating the presence of the slide to unlock thing).
My computer was recently reformatted because it had had a virus, so I'm worried my iPod has gotten the virus too. I have some data on there that I really can't lose. (I haven't backed up this data because my computer had been on the fritz for the past two weeks).
Is taking it to an Apple Help Centre the only cure? (I purchased the item in March 2013; Is there any chance I can get it replaced for free?) I tried moving the photos from the device to my PC but it says there are no photos in my device. (I've moved my photos before when I'd forgotten my password and was about to reset it.)
I would really like some advice ASAP because if it is a virus, the longer I keep it untouched, the more havoc it causes. i fear.

I do not think talking to Apple will do more than the following:
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
