ISmartviewer Pro app connectivity issues

I downloaded the iSmartviewer and iSmartviewer Pro app for viewing my DVR and camera's at my restaurant. I have a program that connects from my computer that works well. I copied all the network information and plugged it into the app. IE: IP address, port#, username and password. The applications after a long wait displays a message "the operation couldn't be completed. socket is not connected"
Does anyone have experience with this app?
Thanks

Hi JaxUK
Try to manually configure all the access point using the "Network Setup" application. You can download this from Marketplace.
After manually putting all the access point, make sure to put a mark on "Make this as my current APN" then save the changes made.
You may try now to access facebook, emails, pics over Whatsapp, Twitter on your phone.
Hope this will help you my friend

  • Messages App| connectivity issues since upgrading to Mavericks

is anyone having problems since upgrading to Mavericks with connectivity issues in the "Messages" app? Im on a 2011 MacBook Pro. I will start a desktop share session with my folks (IMAC) and within 2-3 minutes of having access to their desktop, I'm unable to control any longer and their system freezes.

    HI,
When iChat 3 came out someone tested whether it would work on the platform that was running iChat 2 and also tested whether iChat 2 would work on the later OS.
This eventually led to the Reinstall procedure for iChat 3 up to the iChat 5 version.
Since then the app has required either a Backup version from when it was working, a copy on another machine running the same OS and app version numbers (the two go hand in hand) or you have to Reinstall the whole OS which will always update you to the latest version of the OS (and in the case of Messages any updates it has had).

  • HP Slate 21 Pro: WiFi connection issues

    Hi,
I recently ordered two HP Slate 21 Pro devices. Unfortunately, both of them have WiFi connection issues. After some time the properly configured WiFi connection will be dropped, which results in connectionless devices. The WiFi AP is disabled after this, and so a timed reconnect will not succeed.

    That really shouldn't affect it.
I'm a little stumped because I haven't seen this issue with this device before. The only similar issue I found was this, and it's unresolved.
Have you tried doing a hard reboot of the Slate 21?

  • Intune Company Portal iOS app - Connection Issue: Unexpected connection issue occured

    Greetings,
I am in the process of enrolling an iOS device and I have installed the Intune Company Portal App.  When I attempt to sign in, it starts to redirect me "We are taking you to your company sin-in page" then the app says "Connection Issue,
    an unexpected connection issue occurred.
However if I attempt to enroll via the web site, "manage.microsoft.com" I am redirected to our companies sing-signon portal which is expected. When I login there it attempt to connect what I think is "manage.microsoft.com" but the
    page never loads.
Earlier I was able to get to our Companies Portal but there was no option to "Install a Profile" onto the device.
The Intune Service Dashboard is reporting issues so I am wondering if this is part of the cause.  However when I was able to connect I still did not have any options to install a profile onto the device.
We are utilizing Intune with Configuration Manager 2012 R2.
Thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

    Hi Jörgen,
Thank you for the response.  I am able to bring up my company portal page now via the iOS browser which looks like the area to install the managed profile, however their is no option on the screen to "Install".
When I look at my Intune admin portal, the Enterprise Mobility Suite selection boxes are greyed out and it does not appear from the console I have any options to enable this for my user account.  I am thinking this is the reason
I am not getting any options to install the manage profiles.  We are integrated with SCCM 2012R2, and I have configured the Intune subscription inside of SCCM and have added the site system roles to the server as well.
I think part of the issue is we recently enrolled in the Enterprise Mobility Suite and we had a trial of Intune which has expired.  I do have the option in the portal to enable "Microsoft Intune" for my account
but that service is expired and should have been replaced with the Enterprise Mobility Suite but those options are currently greyed out.
I don't know if this is going to prompt a call to MS Support to see what is going on with our account.
    Thank You

  • Messages App Connectivity Issues

I have been having loads of issues with the Messages App. This one revolves around its tendency to spontaneously stop sending and receiving messages. An example of this goes as follows.
My friend (with MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion) and I will be chatting using the Messages App. Everything seems to be working fine. However, if we stop talking for more than about 5 minutes or so, my messages stop getting "Delivered" (as I have read receipt on). His messages stop coming through. Sometimes they will go to our phones, but not always. Once I regain connectivity (usually through quitting and restarting messages), all of the messages come through at once. It is becoming increasingly frustrating to both of us that this App seems to spontaneously decide when to work and when not to work.
    Anyone else experiencing this?

    HI,
Any one router can handle 255 other devices other than itself.
That means if there are more than 255 students and teachers you have to get a second router (or more).
This can mean that as you move about you are hopping between routers.  This increases the chances of being "dropped" by the whole set up.
Depending on the number of employees at your work and how much you move about between any routers may see the same sort of issues arise.
Part of the issue could be how IP address are allocated.
When you join a network you get an IP from the router.
You are what is called "leased" that IP number.
The default period for many router is 24 hours. As long as you rejoin within that period you should get the same IP.
Issues can arise when the router's timing of a lease period and a computer's timing don't match and two computers try to use the same IP.  Both would normally get a message pop up telling them so.
Getting kicked of the network silently (no error message) is somewhat less likely.
Are you having issues with other apps that go On line, particularly Web Browsers ?

  • Windows 8 pro and 8.1 pro WiFi connection issues

I hope to start a meaningful dialogue with Microsoft about the WiFi issues that Windows 8 and 8.1 have.
I've been deploying Windows 8 and 8.1 since the Surface Pro was released.  Since then we've deployed about 50-75 Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, Dell Latitude 7000 series, Lenovo Yoga 13 IdeaPad and Lenovo Yoga Thinkpad devices.  Some have Windows
8 pro, some have been upgraded to 8.1 Pro, and some were purchased with native 8.1 Pro builds on them.  All of these devices have difficulty with wireless in one form or another.  We were able to reduce some of the problems (not eliminate) on our
corporate LAN over the last year by turning off Windows' ability to turn off the wireless adapter to save power, or turning off some of the offload or chimney or other advanced capabilities of the adapters.  Problems were still present, but less so.
Many of our users were able to be on the wired LAN, so the issues were somewhat glossed over.
We were finally able to fix our Wireless LAN issue (we believe everything is working as expected after 2 weeks of testing and observation) by updating the controller and AP firmware for our Aruba wireless infrastructure (we have one controller and 11 ap's
across 5 well connected sites).  This is great- sort of...
The problem is that while it's now very obvious that in our case, updating the firmware on our corporate WiFi is able to get the various 8 and 8.1 devices working on our LAN, this is not a true fix as it does not address our mobile and wireless capabilities
    while:
    1. traveling
    2. working at a partner's or customer's location and connecting to their WiFi
    3. Working from Home
    4. Etc.
We obviously can't update everyone's AP/wireless router firmware.  The solution, by necessity, must reside on the Windows 8/8.1 machine and it's inability to reliably connect and stay connected to existing Wifi networks.   I want
to know the current state and thinking that Microsoft has regarding this persistent issue (searching for "Windows 8.1 wifi" in the "Windows 8.1 IT pro" forums on TechNet returned 4000+ results).  Ignoring or not addressing this
problem head on is a huge mistake.  Let us know the root cause (SOMETHING has changed in the Network/IP stack) and a solution to work around the cause.
I'll conclude like this: I KNOW that some Wifi issues can be resolved with firmware updates to WiFi routers/APs.  I KNOW that some WiFi issues can be resolved with driver updates or, in some cases, downgrades.  I KNOW some Wifi issues can be resolved
by uninstalling Intel ProSET, or getting manufacturer direct drivers.  I KNOW some issues can be resolved by turning off Windows' ability to turn off the adapter when "not in use" to save power.  I KNOW some owner's of Windows 8/8.1
machines have downgraded to Windows 7 or XP or abandoned Microsoft altogether and move to Linux or Mac.  The ONLY common problem across all of these solutions, is Windows 8/8.1.  Therein MUST lie the ultimate answer.

    THIS.
I have been going through the same efforts as DLovitt with no joy.  I have ruled out all variables which leads directly to something with Win 8/8.1 being the problem.  Very frustrating that I cannot find a fix anywhere.

  • How to troubleshoot Windows 8 Mail app connectivity issues with Google Business Apps?

My company went to Google Apps last year. I am unable to connect Mail App on Windows 8 to my corporate Google account. I am using m.google.com for server with SSL enabled, but no luck. I also enabled bit locker as my company policy requires device encryption.
Mail App does not give a clear error message. It simple states that this PC does not meet security policies enforced by Google. Please advice. I already made peace when my Nokia Lumia 920 running windows phone 8 does not connect to Google
apps because of a bug that would not turn on device encryption unless requested by Active Sync and it would not turn on with Google sync.
These are annoying issues that Microsoft must fix to gain enterprise support. Here are the settings from my mobile settings page:

Answer is of no use. I tried all the forums and websites. I am not able to connect to corporate google apps because it requires SD card encryption. How do I enable this on windows 8.
Please discuss this with your boss and other peers before answering. This is an advanced question. I am going to paint this a little bit more..
Today's enterprise requires that most devices support device encryption and Windows Phone does support device encryption but here is the problem- there is no support for SD card encryption. Even for phones like Lumia 920 that does not have an SD card cannot
connect to Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync due to a bug in the implementation.
When the policy parameter Require Encryption on Storage Card is enabled, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices misreport the presence of an SD card, even if the device has no SD card slot. The policy enforcement occurs, provisioning fails, and the device
cannot be synchronized.  You can read more on their support site:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2464593
This long thread on the Microsoft community is a testament to this problem:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/e...3ce3-49e4-8069-ecdccd55a5f9
This is also a problem for those enterprises that are using google apps and running Microsoft exchange activesync. Take a look at this request and policy that will throw the 85010013 error on your windows phone.
    Request :

  • Macbook Pro WiFi connectivity issues

Hi there - planning on contacting Apple directly tomorrow but thought I'd put this question to the community before I run up my phone bill!
For the past few days I've seen my WiFi connectivity go severely downhill, I've had my new Macbook Pro 2012 (non-retina) for a little less than a week, and I haven't had a problem with my internet since a few days ago.
This is DEFINITELY an issue with my computer. I have other computers and an iPhone which work perfectly well with the same network - in fact, my girlfriend was next to me running on her laptop for 20 minutes whilst I sat there pulling my hair out to the messages of "You are not connected to the Internet" and "Network timeout".
The computer was originally installed with OS X Lion, but I updated to Mountain Lion after 2-3 days. (Perhaps it's a problem with this? Is this an ongoing thing with the range or the OS?). I have tried reinstalling the OS X, a frustrating ordeal as I actually needed an internet connection to do this! This, however, doesn't seem to have done too much...
I've tried deleting all information about my network (in the advanced wifi tab, and in Keychain), and also tried entering the wrong password in when manually adding the network, I'd heard that works yet clearly not!...
I feel like I'm using a mobile phone with bad signal when I have to hold the pc in the air as if i'm looking for that "sweet spot" (strangely enough this usually works for a minute)
Any ideas? I feel like I've exhausted all means, I'm at the end of my tether!

I have been having the same problem. When my MacBook Pro running 10.9.1 (Mavericks) wakes up from sleep, whether from shutting the lid or inactivity, the Wi-Fi seaches for a network, but won't reconnect to my known home Wi-Fi network. When I try to select my network from the menu at the top-right of the screen, I get an error message after about 10 seconds saying that the network is unavailable. If I turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back on twice, I can then reconnect to my home Wi-Fi network. This is a very annoying problem. Please fix it in 10.9.2.

  • MacBook Pro 15" connectivity Issue.  Everything else works great; PC's and smaller MacBooks, but everyone with a 15" model is having connection issues.

So I have a 15" Macbook Pro.  About two months ago I started having issues connecting it on my network at work.  Every other 15" MacBook pro is having the same issue.  When the wireless connects, it often comes back with a connection timeout, or it connects to the router, and DHCP doesn't give it an IP addess.  Static IP doesn't work.  There are the odd place where I can connect regularly, but they are few and far between.  I have great singnal strength, but it's just really flaky.
My network Admin can't figure it out.  all the PCs are working fine, and even MacBooks and 13" Macbook Pros are working.  The problem seems to be common to MacBook Pro 15", AppleTV, iPad.  Anyone got any ideas?

    Hello Sepehr.E,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Wi-Fi on your MacBook Pro.  I would be concerned about this too.
I'm not sure if you have tried these steps yet, but I recommend following the steps in the following article to resolve an issue like the one you described:

  • Add Contact Pro app - Download Issue

    Hi all,
I have BB curve 8520. Last week I purchased app "Add Contact Pro" on Blackberry World. After purchase and while downloading I received an error and the whole process stopped. The app did not download. I sent mail to the app developer thrice but no response.
Can anyone help me out of how to download again(i have already done purchase) ?
    Thanks

    Solved!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache.
    For legacy (pre-BB10) Devices:
    1. Open App World
    2. Go to My World
    3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
    3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:
KB24714 How to clear the BlackBerry App World cache
    4. AppWorld should close.
    5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
    6. Return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes). .
If step (4) does not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.
    For BB10 devices:
KB33818Downloaded applications in BlackBerry World are stuck in an Installing state and cannot be cancelled or removed from the download list
After the Clear Cache, then to re-install the app, please see this KB:
KB17625 How to install or transfer previously purchased applications from BlackBerry App World to a BlackBerry smartphone
Good luck and let us know!

  • MacBook Pro Wireless Connectivity Issues

For some reason My MacBook Pro has been connecting to my Airport Extreme/Express no problem and works with no problem, but after a little time is says that there Safari can not connect to the server. The bars on the my Airport on the the top bar still has all four bars regardless if I can get online or not.
The weird thing is that when it "can't connect to the server" then everything wireless goes. Nothing in my network settings has changed, nothing has been moved, and nothing has been added to effect the network. Connecting wired is no problem however.

  • Time Capsule and TWCTV app - connection issues

I've got Time Warner Cable as my ISP, and I've been using a TC (ethernet connected to their router) to establish my own wireless network.  I have my iMac (summer 2007 rev) connected direct to the TC via ethernet, and several iphones and an ipad mini connected via wireless.  Recently, none of the devices can sucessfully send/receive data to TWC through the TWCTV app (i.e. for watching TV on Mac & iOS devices).  Everything else works (internet, other apps, etc.). TWC says its my TC that's the problem, but I haven't changed any configuration params recently.  I have no problem connecting via other wireless networks, and can use the app, so I suspect the issue is in fact with my TC, but I've no idea what might have changed that's preventing the devices from establishing access through to TWC...  Anybody got any ideas?   Again - the problem is isolated to the TWC TV app...  Is there some protocol or routing change I need to make?

    How is the TC setup??
If it is in bridge then it should have no impact on the connection at all.. so please tell us that..
If it is in router mode and was working in router mode, I do not know why it will have stopped.

  • New Macbook Pro Wifi connection issues

I just bought a new Macbook Pro. When I try to connect to my wireless router I get a "Connection Timed out" message. It won't connect. In order to connect I have to go to Network Preferences and Select "Diagnostic". After following the steps I can type in my password. It says the password is "invalid" though I know it is correct and then it connects anyway.! I must go through this process everytime to log on. Very annoying. Any solutions?

After taking it in to the tech department, I gave up on them and opened it myself. Re-seated the connection from the Superdrive to the main board, and it works fine.
