ISQLplus data for local host

For iSqlplus localhost no data exists for the tables.Should I go ahead and insert new values or is there any other solution for it?

No problem. Thanks for the suggestion. There was a problem with the installation. Its solved. Well, I have a doubt. Can column alias names be used in the query for data manipulation? eg: select empname, salary as sal,sal * 20 from employees; sal is a column alias name and it throwed an error. IS there any way to use column alias names?

    HI,
Hi, I have installed on Oracle 10g on Redhat Enterprise Linux V.2.1 . I was able to start OEM without any issues. Recently I had changed the static IP address and I couldn't able to start OPMNCTL and getting the following error while starting opmnctl start. error message is as follows.

Failed to get IP address for local host(2).....
my current configuration in /etc/hosts file is as follows.
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain servername
After going through some of threads available in Oracle, I have added the static IP address in the /etc/hosts but still I am getting the same error.
my new hosts file is as follows.
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain servername

could you please help me in this issue? I appreciate your help in this regard.
    Thanks

Hi, i think that the application server part is looking for a /etc/hosts entry
    in this format:
    127.0.0.1 localhost
As i noticed, this is used for internal communication.
Try this entry as is, without a domain...

  • Foreign Trade / Custom data for local Client

    Hi SD's,
I've an issue regarding the creation of Billing document, because for a local Client it is asking me for this data.
    We've a 3 scenarios working:
1- Normal sales inside the country for a certain Order Type - ZA, Delivery Type - ZA and Billing doc Type - ZA. Flow works ok.
    2- Export sales - flow work ok and the user as to fill Foreign Trade / Custom data (using the same documents types as above);
3- Intermediation - for local client or to export, here is where the system fails when we've local Client it still ask for Foreign Trade / Custom data and it should not. In this scenario we are using Order Type - ZB, Delivery Type - ZB and Billing doc Type - ZB and we've CO-PA for this scenario.
I think this may be related because before we've this scenario integrating with CO-PA everything worked perfect.
Does anyone have a clue on this?
I've read some notes regarding Foreign Trade / Custom data but none of them seam to answer my problem.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    BO.

    Hi bruno
It is in copy control  VTLA and in  VTFL also . select your order type and delivery type and click on blue lens on top left. There try to maintain as follows:-
    Order requirements:::::::001
    Combination requirmt::::051
    Header Data:::::::::::::::::001
Similarly, go to VTFL, select your delivery type and billing type and click on blue lens on top left. There for the field Determine export data, maintain as per your requirement and for Copying requirements, maintain routine 003.

  • Server 2012 R2: How do I set VLAN data for the Host Virtual Switch (via PowerShell)?

I need to modify the Host (NOT the VM's) VMSwitch VLAN settings via Powershell for automation purposes.
In Server 2012 (NOT R2), this can be done via modifying
    MSVM_VLANEndPointSettingData
However, it seems in Server 2012 R2, that class is gone. I've manually searched through the MSVM classes, and it seems that the Host VMSWitch VLAN settings are stored
in MSVM_EthernetSwitchPortVlanSettingData. Unfortunately, I have no way of tying that class to a specific VMSwitch.
Any know how to do this on Server 2012 R2?

  • Is a locally hosted data catalog possible?

We have a pretty robust locally hosted SharePoint solution. We are currently working on an upgrade to SharePoint 2013 with integrated 2012 SQL Server Reporting Services with Powerview/Powerpivot.  This is to create a local instance similar
to the Power BI option in the cloud.  My question is specific to Power Query in this scenario.  In the above scenario, can the Corporate Data Catalog used in Power Query be hosted locally, perhaps in the Business Data Catalog SharePoint
    has?

    Thanks for your reply Gil.
I have evaluated Power BI and the Data Catalog, both public and corporate. Great tools that we pretty much will replicate with the Excel Power stack and integrated SSSRS/SharePoint with the required service applications configured and turned on.  I
work at a college and so much of our data is subject to federal/state laws like FERPA and institutional security policies revolving around PII.  Even aggregating the data to the level of losing PII does not mitigate some of the legal and policy related
roadblocks of posting data in the cloud.  So, we are looking at have a Power BI like solution on-prem.  I just wanted to leverage the corporate section of the Power Query's data catalog by having it point to an on-prem source.

  • From where to get "First day of the week" data for all the locales, is it present in CLDR spec 24?

I am trying to get "First day of the week" data from CLDR spec24 but cannot find where to look for it in the spec. I need this data to calculate numeric value of "LOCAL day of the week".
This data to implement "c" and "cc" day formats that equals numeric local day of the week.
e.g if "First day of the week" data for a locale is 2 (Monday) , it means numeric value for local day of the week will be 1 if it is Monday that day, 2 if it is Tuesday that day and likewise.

    Hi
If you want to week to be started with Sunday then use the following formula:
TimestampAdd(SQL_TSI_DAY, 1-DAYOFWEEK(Date'@{var_Date}'), Date'@{var_Date}') if it's retail week(starts from Monday) then the follow below:
    TimestampAdd(SQL_TSI_DAY, 1-DAYOFWEEK(Date'@{var_Date}'), Date'@{var_Date}')
I'm assuming var_Date is the presentation variable for prompt...

    Hey there all.
I am wondering if there is something wrong with my embedded form or if it is simply because
I have not uploaded my site to remote host yet? I am only getting a broken part of the header with
no actual form, with a warning "!local host" in top left hand corner. If anyone could enlighten

Cheers, I noticed some browsers were treating the form differently. I am uploading to a test server tomorrow, hopefully all goes well, thanks for your reply

  • Local hosted exchange (2013) to Full Online Office 365 for School District : Pointers for migration appreciated!

    Good afternoon all,
The school district I manage is currently using locally hosted exchange server(s) for mail.  (Server 2012 box that has Exchange 2013, and an older Server 2008 box that has Exchange 2010)
We are wanting to make the migration to full online Office 365.  We're talking about 450-500 mailboxes maximum.
In order to do this as seamlessly as possible, I need some help.
Any of you pros that have any gotchas/recommendations/best practices or walk-thrus for this i'm all ears.
Thanks so much, i really appreciate any help that can be given on this.

Vasil, thank you very much for this...it really helps a lot. One question for you, and i hope i'm understanding this correctly. In our school district, we have 2000+ students, and 350~ faculty. We will still be locally managing our users (who will
be tied to email addresses that will then be hosted in office 365) through local active directory. Will this be a problem? The only reason I ask this is because of reading this: Do you want to manage user accounts in your on-premises organization? No (listed
for cutover) We will keep our user account management (if that's what this is talking about) local on the DCs that are on our domain through ADUC. Is this what it's talking about, or is it talking about managing their email addresses? Maybe i'm making this
more difficult than it is... thanks for all the help!

  • How to display date for each packet in a Cisco ASA packet capture

    Hello,
Quick question...On a Cisco ASA (v8.2) how does one show the date of each packet in a packet capture?
When performing a packet capture from CLI you can do a "show capture testcapture" command and you can see that the time is at the beginning of each packet but how does one view the date as well as the time for each packet?  I know you can export the packet capture and it will show the date & time in wireshark but sometimes for just quick and dirty capture I'd like to view the capture from the CLI on the ASA itself without doing an export.
Sample capture below.  Time is displayed but not the date of the packet capture.  Issuing command "sh cap test detail" doesn't show the date either.  I checked on an ASA running v9 and it also doesn't show the date in the packet capture.
    ASA5505# sh cap test
       1: 08:51:56.112085 802.1Q vlan#12 P0 10.150.40.240.500 > x.x.x.x:  udp 404

       6: 08:52:49.111490 802.1Q vlan#12 P0 10.150.40.240.500 > x.x.x.x.500:  udp 404
    Thanks for any help.
    Joe

    Hi,
I would suggest copying the capture from the ASA to some local host and opening the capture file with Wireshark to view the information
    For example
    copy /pcap capture:test tftp://x.x.x.x/test.pcap
This should copy the current data in the capture to the mentioned location with the mentioned filename.
I personally view the captures on the ASA CLI only if I am just confirming that some traffic comes to the firewall or when I am checking what happens to a TCP connection that can not be formed. Its a lot easier to go through bigger captures by copying them from the ASA and viewing them with an actual software meant for that purpose.
    Hope this helps :)

  • RW-20004 no installs found for this host Error when installing Apps tier

    Hello:
Trying to install 12.1.1 on a linux x64 OS. Following is my current OS Setup:
    1) Have 2 Instances or RHEL 5 Update 4 x64 each named as follows: oalin12db.apps.local & oalin12mt.apps.local
    2) Both have multi user setups as follows:
    a) user: oracle (501), group dba (503)
    b) user: applmgr (502), group dba (503)
    3) Installation of DB node successful for a Vision Instance with SID=VISN
    4) Getting error "RW-20004 no installs found for this host" on apps tier. Does not matter if I use host:SID:port or copy the actual config file over and point rapidwiz to it, I get the same error.
    5) checked everything as per metalink notes 605677.1 and 444870.1.
    6) SELinux on Permissive mode on both instances for now.

Forta I 8/Edition files work with CF SERVER 9?

I have the same problem, on my primary computer (Windows XP Pro , but the cause may be different from what 123polis123 had.
It seems that the installer installed the Enterprise Multiserver configuration instead of the built in server.
Note that I installed sucessfully on my laptop (Windows XP Home), using the same install parameters.
I chose the "Server configuration" which has a self contained server tunning a single instance with an embedded JEE server.  After running though all the installation screens, before proceeding with the actual installation, the installer reported the following:
    Installation Type:
      Server configuration
    Licensing:
      Developer Edition
    Installation Directories:
      Product: C:\ColdFusion9
      Web root: C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot
    Server Information:
      Web Server: Built-in web server
      Port: 8500
      ODBC Services: installed
      Search Services: installed
      ColdFusion Solr Search Services: installed
      Microsoft .Net version: v 2.0.50727
      .NET Java Port: 6085
      .NET Client Port: 6086
      Documentation: installed
      RDS: enabled
Disk Space Information (for Installation Target):
      Required: 1,089,069,939
      Available: 7,387,262,976
The installation proceeded without a hitch, except at the end when the browser is supposed to come up with the admin configuration page it can't find the server.  Port 8500 is open. I fiddled around awhile to see what the problem was.  I installed on the other computer which went fine - the only difference is that the .NET version is 1.1.4322.   I then re-installed, without uninstalling, on the problem computer.  When the installer got to the screen where I select the server configuration, Enterprise Multiserver configuration was selected and it was not possible to select onything else.   I uninstalled and re-installed.  Same thing happened.
The processes running included: k2admin.exe, k2index.exe, k2server.exe and CFDotNetsvc.exe.   The processes on the sucessful install included cfp.exe and cfupdate.exe.
Note that I had installed Eclipse and the CFEclipse plugin before installing CF9.

  • "use cellular data for" apps keep turning back on

ie. go in, slide bar from green to off for facetime, youtube, etc...go out of Cellular, back in, and those apps show green for "use cellular data for".
At first I thought it was an issue with some versions of Angry Birds, as they don't all do this.  Then realized facetime, youtube, facebook, etc.. all do this.
Works fine on two other iphones.   Running latest ios on 4S
The fact it doesn't do it for all apps is what I find is strange.  Thought at first it was an issue with Rovio apps, but then realized even facetime does this.
    Thanks

I'd like to know why there is not solution to this.  I think I'll just remove all those apps that are turning their 'use cellular' data back on.  I only cared because when my kid plays angry birds, my cellular data was being used for videos.  Oh well, I guess I'll have to remove apps or get a new data plan.
