Issue error message in a pop-up window

Hii experts,
How do I issue a message in a pop-up window in a normal report programming? For eg if i click on particular box in SAP graphic, a message window should come up with some information about that box.

First track the event let say at line selection(in case of reports)
then use

Append the errors in l_return.
l_return is of type below:
DATA: l_return LIKE bapireturn OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.

I got this code to get error message in pop up window. But this code is giving null pointer exception.

Hi,
Most probably you are getting the null pointer exception because of wdControllerAPI.getControllerInfo().findInEventHandlers("ok") as WD is not able to find the ok event handler.
I guess you have already defined the "ok" event handler in your view .
Considering that the name of the event handler is "ok" , you can make the following change in
your code
confirmDialog = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createConfirmationWindow(dialogText,wdThis.WD_EVENTHANDLER_ON_ACTION_OK, "ok");

Error message as a pop up

Hello All,
I have a requirement to show an error message in a pop up window. This cannot be a information message.
i also tried using the function module POPUP_DISPLAY_MESSAGE but it does not seem to work. I want the processing to stop here, but the processing continues with this FM even if the message type is E.
Please let me know if there is any other method.

Hi Usha,
when you use error message than sy will take care that not to proceed further.
when you using FM to show it as popup,
you have to handle not to proceed the control using flags or exit statements.

This issue has been reported before by other users, and it turns out it's the effect of malware. In other words, your system is infected. To scan for malware, install, update and run these programs ''in this order''. They are all free for personal use, but some have limited functionality in their "free mode", but the features you'll miss are not really needed to find and remove the problem you have. Remember that ''not all programs detect the same malware''!

iTunes 9.0.x is certainly compatible with Win7 64 bit since I use that exact setup on 3 different PCs. Two suggestions for your installation problems:
1)Download a new copy of the 64 bit installer from Apple then, instead of just running the itunes installer right click on it and try 'run as adminstrator'. In my experience that clears up a world of problems with program installation in Win7 and Vista. This is necessary even if you're already logged in as an administrator.
2) Try the previous version of iTunes (9.0.3). You can get a copy at http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php?old_itunes=54 again right click on the file and "run as administrator"

And not to state the obvious: Error 107 usually indicates that your system doesn't meet the system requirements, so verify that.

Do the following:
Uninstall from Windows the following five programs: iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support. You do this from an applet in Control Panel called Programs & Features (in Windows 8, 7, or Vista) or Add or Remove Programs (in Windows XP).
Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
Run the iTunes installation as an administrator, just Right click iTunes installer and Run as Administrator.

Error message in Premiere 12 on Windows 7 when reordering video clips

I am using Premiere 12 on my PC using Windows 7. I have done a substantial amount of editing already but every time I go to re-order my video clips an error message pops up and priemere shuts down. When I trouble shoot the problem it says there is an incompatibility issue. Help! What should I do? I don't want to lose the work I have already done.

Please give more details on the message regarding incompatibility? Please give exact wording of message.
What exactly are you doing with the "re-order" of the video clips? Is this the only Timeline activity that triggers this message and/or program shutdown?
How large is the project when this issue occurs?
Are you working with the AutoSave feature On? See Edit Menu/Preferences/AutoSave.

Form Captcha Issues - Error message when not filled vs. traditional "Please fill in the following:"

Just discovered an issue regarding a form using a CAPTCHA.
When I formerly submitted other forms on sites with CAPTCHA's in the forms I created, when one did not fill out the form, a pop-up window would appear allerting the customer to "Fill in the form field" that were required, including an allert to "Enter Word Verification in box below."
I have created a new form for a new site and seem to be encountering a different issue. When the form is not filled out and the user clicks "Submit" a new page loads with a red error message saying: "ERROR: An error occurred. Image verification failed. If you believe this is incorrect, please contact your system administrator or go back and re-submit the form."
How can I correct this to simply have the same required field pop-up window appear like was happening with former developed forms?? Not sure why this form is doing this when all prior forms with CAPTHCA included were just fine. Haven't done anything different to the form that I hadn't to others in the past....Please Help!! Thanks.
