Issue with osb + weblogic foreign server AQ configuration

Hi ,
I am trying out a scenario wherein, OSB publishes a message onto an Oracle AQ JMS Topic.
I have created the Foreign Server and have used the Local JNDIs of the connection factory and the destination within my OSB business service. But then, my business service fails to publish the message onto the AQ giving below exception in the server logs:
"<BEA-169807>There was an error while making the initial connection to the JMS resource named ALSB_JMS_SessionPool_-541341947 from within an EJB or a servlet. The server will attempt the connection again later. The error was oracle.jms.AQjmsException: Error creating the db_connection"
Below are the configurations that I have used for configuring the foreign server
Connection Factory - LocalCF | Local JNDI - LocalCF | Remote JNDI - XATopicConnectionFactory
Destination - ETASNIN | Local JNDI - ETASNIN | Remote JNDI - Topics/ETASNIN
The Business Service URL: jms://xxxxhost:7011/LocalCF/ETASNIN
**P.S:** I have tried out the same scenario of interfacing OSB with AQ JMS on a Windows box it works fine... But the above is the case on a UNIX box. Also, I am using PS3 of OSB with 10.3.4 of weblogic server.
Any Suggestions on this would really help and is much appreciated...
Thanks,
Manoj Nair

    But it doesn't list the server while deploying the application.
    I don't see the issue in my office network. But I encounter this problem when I work at my home.
    Ideally it should show the following lines after server is started:
    DefaultServer startup time: 195467 ms.
    DefaultServer started.
    This is not happening if i run the server without network.
    How can I fix this problem?
    Thanks
    Ravi

    I see some message about a proxy. Have you checked that you can use the proxy from you network?
    If not you should turn the proxy off.

  • Having issue with start weblogic cluster with tangosol cluster

    Hi,
    Oracle Coherence Version 3.3.1/389p1
    Grid Edition: Development mode
    We are using Weblogic 8.1.5 with Tangosol 3.3.1 on Linux servers.
    And we added the initializing logic in the servlet's init() method to get all NamedCaches and put into the ServletContext.
    When we start weblogic cluster, the first weblogic member will startup successfully with following messages :

    Could you please explain why it happens, and what should I do to resolve this issues ?
    Many Thanks,
    Bing

    Hi, Gene
    Thank you for the response. I will send you our full log files and thread dumps.
    I just want to give you more details about our cases :
    1. This only happened without starting cache servers (com.tangosol.net.DefaultCacheServer).
    2. And our application which are running on weblogic cluster will just call "CacheFactory.getCache("XXX")", and running as the Tangosol DataClient.
    3. All weblogic member servers will be up running successfully if our cache servers are up running.
    Also I tried to test another case :
    Suppose all weblogic instances and cache server instances are up running. Now I trying to restart (kill weblogic instance process and restart) one of the weblogic member, It will up running successfully only if add some sleep times after killing weblogic processes and restarting it. Looks like tangosol cluster need certain time to aware the member has left cluster, then the restart process will be successful.
    Questions :
    1. Should we start our weblogic cluster only after cache server cluster is up running ?
    2. How do we decide how many time we should wait before start new process to join the cache cluster ?
    Could you please help to explain this one for me and let us if there anyway we can do to avoid the problem.
    Many Thanks !!!

    Hi Lam,
    I have a successful configuration to JBoss JMS . My foreign server configuration is like this:
    <foreign-server name=”ForeignServer”>
    <default-targeting-enabled>true</default-targeting-enabled>
    <foreign-destination name=”A”>
    <local-jndi-name>A</local-jndi-name>
    <remote-jndi-name>queue/A</remote-jndi-name>
    </foreign-destination>
    <foreign-connection-factory name=”FConf”>
    <local-jndi-name>FConf</local-jndi-name>
    <remote-jndi-name>ConnectionFactory</remote-jndi-name>
    <username>esbuser</username>
    <password-encrypted>{3DES}90sIZwo6Llr9r73p+VXkvQ==</password-encrypted>
    </foreign-connection-factory>
    <initial-context-factory>org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory</initial-context-factory>
    <connection-url>jnp://localhost:1099</connection-url>
    </foreign-server>
    The difference I can see is the extra jndi property java.naming.factory.url.pkgs=org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces. Can you try removing that ?
    Another try if the above doesn't work is to specify the full jms business service URI if your JBoss destination is not a secured one (if no user name/password is required to access it).

  • 10.2.8 client login issues with 10.3.9 server

    Hi we have just updated our computer lab to 10.2.8 client computers and a 10.3.9 server but I am having issues with the client computer loging into the server I am using LDAPv3 and when I try to have a user login to the server from the client at the login screen I get the login window shake.I can login fine from a 10.3.9 client computer.Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks in advance

    Check your 10.2.8 machines Directory Access and make sure LdapV2 is not checked and also that Ldap V3 is checked and configured correctly. I found that if I had both Ldapv2 and v3 on my 10.2.8 clients could not log in. 10.3 clients only have the option for Ldap V3, so it is not an issue.

  • PXE boot issue with DHCP and SCCM server on different subnets

    I'm working with a client on the operating system deployment module of SCCM.
    Their network configuration currently has a single large subnet for client
    computers with a DHCP server on the same subnet. The SCCM subnet is
    configured on a seperate subnet with no DHCP server on the subnet. We want to
    configure client computers to be able to boot using the PXE client to deploy
    OS images to the machines but can not get PXE-boot to work correctly.
    Also, the client does not want to make changes to their network
    infrastructure routers or switches to remedy this problem. Are there settings
    on the DHCP or SCCM servers we can implement to make this work? If so, what
    needs to be installed or configured on each server. We currently already have
    WDS installed on the SCCM server and the SCCM server is configured as a PXE
    Service Point within SCCM. Both WDS and the PXE Service Point seem to be working fine.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi All
     Not sure what im doing wrong yet i am having issues with exchange server 2013.
    Currently I have got general SMTP Mail flow working. as long as i log onto the local servers OWA (https://10.x.x.x/owa) i can log into a users mailbox. i have tested sending and recieving mail using this and it works.
    My main issue now is with accessing the OWA externally via our website.  (owa.xx.xx.au/owa) or connecting ANY Outlook to the server.
    When i connect to the exchange server via outlook it asks for the password again multiple times never authenticating it then time's out and says:
     " the action cannot be completed. the connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable, outlook must be online or
    connected to complete this action "
    then when i click on OK it goes to the General Tab and under microsoft exchange server: the name for it appears as
    [email protected]
    with mailbox set as:
    =SMTP:[email protected]
    Currantly on our DNS i have
    mx=  10  mail.xx.xx.au
    CNAME= autodiscover  = mail.xx.xx.au
    CNAME= OWA = mail.xx.xx.au
    A = mail = 12.34.56.78
    On our modem/router i have set one-to-one nat to our firewall IP
    On our firewall i have
    SMTP SAT and NAT to Exchange server
    HTTPS Sat and NAT to exchange Server
    HTTP Sat and Nat to exchange Server
    Port 587 SAT and Nat to exchange server
    pop SAT and NAt to exchange server
    Im willing to bet its something stupid i have overlooked but i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out
    Regards

    Hello,
    Firstly, please follow the Shadab's suggestion to check related virtual directory settings.
    Please make sure you use certificate that's created by a CA that's trusted by the client computer's operating system.
    Please use get-outlookanywhere | fl cmdlet to check ExternalClientAuthenticationMethod. By default, the authentication is Negotiate.

  • 10.4.11 Netinstall issue with 10.5.2 Server.. .

    G'day folks, I'm in the process at the moment in setting up a Leopard server and configuring Netinstall on 10.5. The two images made for Mac OS 10.5.2 are working fine. Whereas the 10.4.11 images created on 10.4 server, and copied onto 10.5. Under Server Admin, the images are coming up fine, and also comes up on the client machines too. However, the problem is, with the 10.4.11 image, as soon as I continue the restore/installation of the image, the progress bar goes for half a second, then stating that the Installation is complete. The process that I used to create the image is as follows:
    - Firstly created an image on the Mac
    - Then booted it into target disk mode
    - Plugged it in via firewire into the 10.4 server
    - Opened up Disk Utility, and then created the DMG of the Macintosh HD
    - After creating the DMG, I make an nbi file in System Image Utility, and then copy the nbi onto the 10.5 server (usb drive).
    Now the 10.5 images were created the same way, and come up with no problem. I'd be more than happy to give more information about the steps used.
    Muchly appreciated folks

    Actually the plot thickens with a message in the log on the 10.4.11 netinstall part (on a client workstation) after the installation is "complete"

  • Issues with Mac OS X Server 10.4.8 and Windows File sharing

    We are having lots of issues with our SMB share on Mac OS X Server 10.4.8. The main issues are the following:
    - Group ACLs seem to not work properly, and I have had to add dozens of manual permissions on a per-user basis
    - Often, users open a file in read-only mode, without any reason, and can't modify it
    - Often, users open a file with full write access, but then cannot save it and have to use a "save as function".
    After having looked all over the Internet and on the Apple's discussions forum, it seems like this issue has been around for quite some time now:
    http://discussions.apple.com/search.jspa?forumID=702&threadID=&q=smbANDpermissions&objID=f702&dateRange=thisyear&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1546867&#1546867
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=647251
    And no real answer/solution has been provided by Apple yet.
    I also looked on Samba related pages, and it seems like these issues were Samba related (both ACL/OpenLDAP and Microsoft Office file handling issues), and the current version of Samba (3.0.23c) seem to have solved lots of issues in these areas:
    http://us1.samba.org/samba/history/samba-3.0.23c.html
    Apple ships Samba 3.0.10 (16 Dec 2004) with 10.4.8, which makes the shipping version at list 15 versions (and 18 months) behind the current Samba release (30 Aug 2006).
    People within the company are obviously quite unhappy with the situation and beyond me looking like a fool for migrating from Windows Server to OS X, I now need to find a solution to the issues.
    I would like to know what is the official and Apple recommended way to solve this issue.
    Kind regards,
    Pejvan
    It seems like Apple is totally ignoring the issues, users are facing with SMB shares, while their emphasize as a selling point how OS X Server is a great "windows file" server.

    Hiya
    Thanks for the reply.
    >Is there a UPS involved?
    I wish there had been. I might not be having to deal with it now! :-)
    >If you boot from the Install Disc & use System Profiler there, does the Same RAM situation? Did you physically >check those slots? Thinking maybe the OS is kicking them out on bootup?
    I've had the following suggested to me on another forum - "My guess on the RAM error is this. You have a processor that wants the RAM to be dual channeled and since it reads both A slot are populated it wants both B slots to be populated. Remove A2 and put it in B1"
    But unless it is degrading performance I'll probably just leave it.
    > Still can't get it to boot from the Clone holding the Option/alt key at bootup?
    I can get it to boot from the Clone using the option key but it's a pretty random event. I can try for ages and then suddenly it'll work. Or it may work first time. It does seems to work more easily after a PRAM zap. The funny thing is that once it is booted up it will re-start in any way I want it to (the boot volume, the clone, a disk, single user mode etc). It is just hard to boot from a full shutdown.
    I'm thinking that if I ca get the start-up issue fixed then I can fix the RAID issue at my leisure and even add the hard-drive that the clone is currently on to the RAID array.
    Thanks again.

  • Weblogic Foreign Server issue

    Hi,
    We were trying to integrate Tibco EMS with WLS 10.3 (using Foreign JMS Server). We are using Spring as our app container (the one which basically creates/manages connections, sessions etc)
    I am able to listen to the topics both durably and non-durable mode by hardcoding the username/passwords in the spring config directly.
    We didnt want this hardcoding of credentials, so moved to using the Foreign JMS Provider implementation from Weblogic. To access the ConnectionFactories I now use resource-ref in the web.xml and have wired spring to use the JNDI lookup using these resource-refs to lookup the topic and connection factories. This works fine for non-durable subscription.
    Issue: For durable subscriptions, using Foreign JMS Providers (like mentioned above) I get this error
    java.lang.ClassCastException: com.tibco.tibjms.TibjmsXASession cannot be cast to javax.jms.TopicSession
         at weblogic.deployment.jms.PooledSession.createDurableSubscriber(PooledSession.java:348)

         at org.springframework.jms.listener.DefaultMessageListenerContainer$AsyncMessageListenerInvoker.run(DefaultMessageListenerContainer.java:896)
         at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619)
    The issue isnt with non-XA or XA connectionFactories either. When I tried using a non-XA conn factory I get a similar error but the cast exception is between TopicSessionImpl and TopicSession.
    My spring config is -
    <jms:listener-container container-type="default"
                                       connection-factory="jmsTopicConnectionFactory"
                                       cache="none"
                                       acknowledge="auto"
                                       destination-resolver="gadgetDestinationResolver" destination-type="durableTopic" client-id="testClientId" >
    <jms:listener destination="jms/GL.GADGET.IN" ref="publishThumbnailListener" subscription="localhost7001durable" />
    </jms:listener-container>
    Not sure if I need to set anything other than client-id, durableSubscriptionName while subscribing.
    Any idea what might be wrong or if theres anything else I need setting up?
    Thanks
    Pdk

    The stack trace seems to indicate that the TIBCO client library that you are using supports JMS 1.1 only, although JMS 1.1 Spec requires JMS providers to support both 1.0.2 and 1.1 APIs. You can check and see if there is a client library from TIBCO that supports JMS 1.0.2 as well.
    Meanwhile, Weblogic JMS pooling code is supposed to support both JMS 1.0.2 and 1.1. It looks like it doe not support 1.1 for creating a durable subscriber on a javax.jms.Sessiom. You can contact Oracle support for a fix.

  • Issues with instaling Weblogic.server

    Dear all,
    while installing Weblogic i got stucked where I had to create a new WLS domain and start WLS. I created domain outside the MW_HOME (I use Windows) and I typed
    %JAVA_HOME%\bin\java.exe %JAVA_OPTIONS% -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m weblogic.Server
    But it constantly giving me back this error:
    D:\Projekti\Nereids_dmn\base_domain>D:\programi\java\bin\java.exe -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m weblogic.server
    Error: Could not find or load main class weblogic.server
    As you see, I did not put anything in the place of %JAVA OPTIONS% (sincerely, because I don't know what to put there) but after giving the shortcut i just copied the -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m weblogic.Server.
    Can anyone suggest me what is missing here?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ursa.

    Funny, I had this EXACT same problem this morning myself. I did some more digging and while I don't know what step we both missed that properly adds the jar to the environment or whatever, I did find the workaround that'll get you going. You need to invoke the jar in which the weblogic.Server class is found. Assuming you've set up the WLS_HOME environment variable during the install (I followed these instructions myself - http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/12c/weblogic-development-only-installation-on-oracle-linux-5-and-6-12cr1.php) then you can set up your domain by using the following command:
    *$JAVA_HOME/bin/java $JAVA_OPTIONS -jar $WLS_HOME/server/lib/weblogic.jar weblogic.Server*
    You can add whatever memory conditions you want before the -jar flag. That'll start the configuration and allow you to proceed with creating the domain.

  • Issue with console access when OHS is configured in front of Weblogic

    I have configured the OHS virtual host in front of weblogic server for accessing the console. The OHS and weblogic are on different machine and I am using the port based virtual hosting. I am able to access the console using the virtual host but when I click on 'Activate changes' after deployment/delete, the url is redirected to the Admin server url, and I get the login page again.
    This redirection does not happen when the OHS virtual host and weblogic server are using the same port number. What I have observed is while 'Activating changes' the port number in the url is compared to the admin server and channel's port and if it does not match then connection is reset to the Admin server url.
    Can anyone please suggest why this redirection is happening?

    Not sure which version of WebLogic Server you are using, but recent versions have a console preference, "Follow configuration changes", that can be disabled to avoid changing urls to server-centric ports on activation. Clear that setting and try this again.

  • Issues with starting weblogic server for my domain

    This is part of the adminserver log file:

    What could the issue be?

    I finally got so frustrated that I uninstall and reinstalled it. I did not import any projects at this time, but created a simple, out-of-the-box domain. Then tried to start the server under that domain, and now I get:
    Invalid table name "USERS" specified at position
    Please find part of log output below (I don't see a place in this forum to attach a file). I've copied the portions out of the log that reference exceptions. I appreciate the help!
