Issue with Validation in EO

Hi all
we have a requirement that ,we r getting two rows in a page of irec when it is getting rendered,our requirement is to hide the one row from that table and delete that from database as well, while the page is getting rendered.We extended the CO and tried to remove the row using row.remove in the
processRequest method ,it is getting done but there are validtaion for this row in the entity object due to which we cant submit our page ,
so please share, is there any solution for this issue ,how can we achieve this ,is it possible or not ,
any clues would be most welcome
thanx

hi
we r having this code with us for this issue
public void processRequest(OAPageContext oapagecontext, OAWebBean oawebbean)
super.processRequest(oapagecontext, oawebbean);
OAApplicationModule am = oapagecontext.getApplicationModule(oawebbean);
OAViewObject oav = (OAViewObject)am.findViewObject("IrcEditRecruitmentActivitiesVO");
if(oav != null)
Row row = oav.last();
if(row != null)
row.remove();
am.getOADBTransaction().commit();
although this is able to hide the row from table and onle one row is appearing but at the same time we r
getting this error in the page
"Row validation method failed for row with key oracle.jbo.Key[23895 ] in PerAllVacanciesEO"
thanx

  • Template - issue with validity area - check on multiple usages at once

    Hi all
    One customer requirement Iu2019m trying to solve, and I donu2019t find a solution, is the following:
    <b>When we have two or more validity areas in the generation variant, we want to check on both at the same time in order to get the data on the SDS.</b>
    <b>Is this possible or not and, in case it is possible, can someone explain me how to do this?</b>
    Thanks in advance.
    Two examples.
    In the generation variant we have validity areas:
    A.     REGION                SE
                         USE_CAT             IND
    B.     REGION                NO
                         USE_CAT             IND
    C.     REGION                NO
                         USE_CAT             FER
    In the specification data of one VAT we have several instances. The usages added to these instances are:
    1.     REGION                SE
                         USE_CAT             IND
    2.     REGION                SE
                          USE_CAT             FER
    3.     REGION                NO
                         USE_CAT             IND
    When I use generation variant A, I only want to see instance 1 on the SDS.
    When I use generation variant B, I only want to see instance 3 on the SDS.
    When I use generation variant C, I donu2019t want to see any instances on the SDS.
    I donu2019t find how to solve this.
    When I donu2019t use a repeating group type G for validity area, using generation variant A, I get instances 1 and 2. Using generation variant B or C I get instance 3 on the SDS.
    When I use a repeating group type G for validity area USE_CAT, using generation variant A or B, I get instances 1 and 3. Using generation variant C I get instance 2 on the SDS.
    Similar with the exclude check put.
    In the generation variant we have validity areas:
    D.     REGION                SE
                         USE_CAT             IND
    E.     REGION                NO
                           USE_CAT             FER
    In the specification data of one VAT we have several instances. The usages added to these instances are:
    4.     REGION                SE
                         USE_CAT             IND        excl
    5.     REGION                REG_EU
                          REGION                SE           excl
                          USE_CAT             FER
    6.     REGION                NO
                          USE_CAT             IND
    When I use generation variant D, I donu2019t want to see an instance on the SDS.
    When I use generation variant E, I donu2019t want to see an instance on the SDS
    I donu2019t find how to solve this.
    When I donu2019t use a repeating group G for validity area USE_CAT, using generation variant D, I get instance 4 on the SDS. Using generation variant E I gent instance 6 on the SDS.
    When I use a repeating group G for validity area USE_CAT, using generation variant D, I get instance 6 on the SDS. Using generation variant E, I get instance 5 on the SDS.
    Kind regards,
    Luk

    Hello Luk
    You wrote: When I understand the documentation of the validity area's correct, options subset, superset, 1:1, ... always reflect to the relation of the entry in the generation variant and the usage that is maintained one on the data.
    This is exactly how the link is done between data in EH&S and the data which show up in WWI document (please exclude the topic of G group at the moment; this is special). Therefore the validity area entered in GenVar is the "Leading" validity area.
    Regarding you questions some "basic" work is needed. May be this help you to find new options to solve your issue:
    SAP EH&S uses the "validity area type" and the "validity area". Common used are the validity types:
    REGION
    DGREGION
    PLANT
    It seems that you have created a new validity area type USE_CAT with validity areas wich you have defined by your own.
    I will give you only an overview about the "normal" use of REGION. In this case the validity area is normally a 1:1 relation to a country (defintion is done via customizing). A "special" validity area is REG_WORLD (please refer to SAP docu). REG_WOLRD contains automatically (without further doing) all other validity areas of type REGION. Now it is always possible to generate new "fictive" validity areas. E.g. you Could define the validity area "NAFTA" which would have a link to the countries: US, MX etc. These validiyta areas can be used in data maintenance and in the GenVar as well.
    As I have no knowlede how you have defined the USE_CAT"  validity areas I can not provide you hints. But I would like to provide further hints in using the "Excl." Flag of usage of the VAT
    Example: if you use Rating 1 in combination with REG_WORLD, DE excluded and the GenVar has the leading validity area DE this value is not used in WWI report. But if the genVar would have the leading validity area BE it would be used.
    Please check really carefully the topic of "subset, superset, 1:1,.." because this is the "key" issue if or if not a VAT will show up in WWI.
    Now back to your next question:
    when on the data a validity area is excluded and the same validity area is present in the generation variant, data should not be displayed even when there is a positive match prasent as well. (e.g. positive match on region, negative match on use category).
    Now as explained above: if in VAT level a validity area is excluded but the same validity area is used as leading Validity area in WWI report the value will not show up. The same should be true if you have used "G groups" with discrete validity areas
    Next question:
    when you defined the data as relevant for region EU and use category industrial, data should only be displayed when the generation variant contains both a region related to EU AND this industrial use.
    Here I would need more information. The GenVar contains by default only one leading validity area. Therefore any further "logic" must be applied by using "G Group" in the template and now things get "worse" in some sense.
    If I remember correct the following should be true:
    If you have used properly the G Group with "Use_CAT" in your WWI document this should work:
    You have defined the VAT as : Rating + DE + IND. Now in a special section of your WWI report you have used the G Group. By using this the value should be printed but not a parallel VAT value with Rating + DE + FER.
    If you have used this logic in your whole template I really salute because the WWI template is in my opinion very complex to understand and the logic how to retrieve the data from EH&S into the WWI report is complex too and the length of the report should have increased by at least 20 % or something like that
    Now you have mentioned a further option you are using:
    "Currently we solve this by creating multiple characteristics (use category specific) and selecting only on validity area region based on the generation variant."
    If I underdstood your explanation correct you have done the following:
    If necessary you have entered a further characteristic in the Class called "use CAT" which must have values. Then using the "if else etc." logic of WWI you select only those VATs into the WWI report which does have the correct "Use Cat".
    Once again:hard work which you have done. In my opinion you should go on with this approach. In doing so you have implemented an "and" logic. Only if the Value does have DE and the UseCat (in characteristic) Is e.g. FER the value will be printed.
    It is complex yes but the "G Group" is much complexer
    Natural solution of demands like this is using further ratings to select the data properly. It seems to be you have excluded this option.
    With best regards
    C.B.

  • Error: Creating a Connection Pool: issue with valid transaction levels

    Server: SunOS 5.8 Generic_117350-27 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-MP
    App Server: Sun Java System Application Server 8.2
    Jar: ojdbc14.jar
    Datasource Classname: oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleConnectionPoolDataSource
    Resource Type: javax.sql.ConnectionPoolDataSource
    [Issue]
    Using /SUNWappserver/lib/ojdbc14.jar, when I create my connection pool in Sun Java System Application Server 8.2, I return the following error each time I try to start the domain:
    [#|2006-07-28T14:53:56.169-0500|WARNING|sun-appserver-pe8.2|javax.enterprise.resource.resourceadapter|_ThreadID=11;|RAR5117 : Failed to obtain/create connection. Reason : The isolation level could not be set: READ_COMMITTED and SERIALIZABLE are the only valid transaction levels|#]
    When I change the value to "SERIALIZABLE" in my domain.xml file, I receive the following error in my server.log:
    Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "transaction-isolation-level" with value "SERIALIZABLE" must have a value from the list "read-uncommitted read-committed repeatable-read serializable ".
    So, I'm stuck!
    I can't use the values READ_COMMITTED or SERIALIZABLE since the valid values are "read-uncommitted read-committed repeatable-read serializable ".
    Case sensitivity matters.
    Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    The Oracle JDBC accepts TRANSACTION_READ_COMMITTED and TRANSACTION_SERIALIZABLE isolation levels.
    Example:
    connAttr.setProperty(“TRANSACTION_ISOLATION”, “TRANSACTION_SERIALIZABLE”);
    I'd check with the Apps server folks.

  • Issue with validation of signature

    Hello,
    I am facing a problem in producing a correct signature and I hope someone can help me understand the root of the problem. Most of us are familiar with the Java (Sun) examples of GenDetached, GenEnveloped, GenEnveloping, and Validate code samples. The code below is a small variation of the GenDetached:
    public class GenerateDetachedWithManifest {
      public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
        // First, create a DOM XMLSignatureFactory that will be used to
        // generate the XMLSignature and marshal it to DOM.
        String providerName = System.getProperty("jsr105Provider",
            "org.jcp.xml.dsig.internal.dom.XMLDSigRI");
        XMLSignatureFactory fac = XMLSignatureFactory.getInstance("DOM",
            (Provider) Class.forName(providerName).newInstance());
        // Create a Reference to an external URI that will be digested
        // using the SHA1 digest algorithm
        Reference ref = fac.newReference("http://www.w3.org/TR/xml-stylesheet", fac
            .newDigestMethod(DigestMethod.SHA1, null));
        Reference xref = fac.newReference("#object", fac.newDigestMethod(
            DigestMethod.SHA1, null), null, "http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#Object", null);
        Manifest manifest = fac.newManifest(Collections.singletonList(ref));
        List<XMLObject> objs = new ArrayList<XMLObject>();
        objs.add(fac.newXMLObject(Collections.singletonList(manifest), "object", null, null));
        // Create the SignedInfo
        SignedInfo si = fac.newSignedInfo(fac.newCanonicalizationMethod(
            CanonicalizationMethod.INCLUSIVE,
            (C14NMethodParameterSpec) null), fac.newSignatureMethod(
            SignatureMethod.DSA_SHA1, null), Collections.singletonList(xref));
        // Create a DSA KeyPair
        KeyPairGenerator kpg = KeyPairGenerator.getInstance("DSA");
        kpg.initialize(512);
        KeyPair kp = kpg.generateKeyPair();
        // Create a KeyValue containing the DSA PublicKey that was generated
        KeyInfoFactory kif = fac.getKeyInfoFactory();
        KeyValue kv = kif.newKeyValue(kp.getPublic());
        // Create a KeyInfo and add the KeyValue to it
        KeyInfo ki = kif.newKeyInfo(Collections.singletonList(kv));
        // Create the XMLSignature (but don't sign it yet)
        XMLSignature signature = fac.newXMLSignature(si, ki, objs, "SignatureIdValue", null);
        // Create the Document that will hold the resulting XMLSignature
        DocumentBuilderFactory dbf = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
        dbf.setNamespaceAware(true); // must be set
        Document doc = dbf.newDocumentBuilder().newDocument();
        // Create a DOMSignContext and set the signing Key to the DSA
        // PrivateKey and specify where the XMLSignature should be inserted
        // in the target document (in this case, the document root)
        DOMSignContext signContext = new DOMSignContext(kp.getPrivate(), doc);
        // Marshal, generate (and sign) the detached XMLSignature. The DOM
        // Document will contain the XML Signature if this method returns
        // successfully.
        signature.sign(signContext);
        // output the resulting document
        OutputStream os;
        if (args.length > 0) {
          os = new FileOutputStream(args[0]);
        } else {
          os = System.out;
        TransformerFactory tf = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
        Transformer trans = tf.newTransformer();
        trans.transform(new DOMSource(doc), new StreamResult(os));
    }If you wonder why I am doing this the answer is that I am trying to sign a format based on OPC. Anyway, the problem I have is that the output of the above program fails to validate when running the Validate sample. I don't think the issue is with the Validate program because it correctly validates output of a .NET signing application whose behavior I am trying to replicate in Java.
    So the question is: why does the above code produce an incorrect signature?
    Thanks,
    Luis

    Can you post relevant sections of the OPC standard (or a link to it) that describes the requirement? Its possible that they have written the requirements differently from the examples. Its also possible that the DSIG library in the JDK only does things in a specifc way (I'll let Sean Mullan weigh in on this part of the discussion if he's monitoring this list/thread - he's the developer from Sun who wrote the library).
    Here's the wording from the W3C spec on the Object element:
    +"The Object's Id is commonly referenced from a Reference in SignedInfo, or Manifest. This element is typically used for enveloping signatures where the object being signed is to be included in the signature element. The digest is calculated over the entire Object element including start and end tags."+
    What you have is neither an Enveloping Signature nor Detached - but a combination of the two. So its possible that the JDK library doesn't work with Object references in this manner (although in theory is should). Based on this thread (XML dsig: Can I sign a SignatureProperty of the Signature? it appears that this theory holds up for child-elements of Object , but not for the Object element itself.

  • Issue with Validation for some report parameters

    Hello,
    I have a report with 2 parameters : Start_Date and End_Date. And a Validation (Function returning Error Text) with "Error message display location" = Inline Notification.
    Now, in case I have end_date less than start_date (OR some other conditions, that should be checked on server side), I display the inline error (which works fine)
    The problem is that the report still displays having as parameters those wrong "start_date" and "end_date", and I would like the report not be displayed at all in this case.
    I could use conditional display for the report (using the same validation function), after moving parameters in another region, but I don't really like (calling twice Validation function, etc ...)
    Any other idea ?
    Ussing Apex 2.2 right now.
    Thank you.

    You can add a pseudo items start_date1 and end_date1. And a procedure that will run After Submit. You report have to address to this new item. In this case if validation is fired your pseudo parameters will not changed.

  • Issue with substitution variable with @MDSHIFT in BR in Calc Manager

    Hi Experts,
    We have a BR in EAS which is working fine.
    and exported to Calcmanager, now while validation it is giving error "@BaseScenario" is not found.
    the code is
    @MDSHIFT("LFLSalesIncVAT_GBP_C_DHP"->&BaseScenario->"Final"->"CD_FinalPlanPL",-1,"Year",,1,"Period",);
    if i hard code it like @MDSHIFT("LFLSalesIncVAT_GBP_C_DHP"->"P7PP"->"Final"->"CD_FinalPlanPL",-1,"Year",,1,"Period",); working fine.
    is there any limitation with calc manger and substitution variables?
    Thanks
    GP

    There seems to be many issues with validations in calc manager, does the rule run if you dont validate.

  • Issue with back end validation in jsf 2.0

    I am upgrading my apps to jsf2.0 and I came across something that I hope you have already solved.
    In jsf 1.1 action methods returned a string. If that string was NOT mapped as a navigation in faces-config.xml, then it just rerendered the active page. this made doing back end validation easy because I could add messages to the faces context and when the active page rerendered the validation messages would get displayed and no one was the wiser than it was done on the back end instead of on the front end.
    In jsf 2.0 I get null pointers if I return a string that is NOT mapped as a navigation. So I changed the code to return a string that is mapped as a navigation for that page when there is a validation error. but that is treating it like a new request and not a rerender so the validation messages I added to the faces context are not there when the page renders.
    if i test submit a form that has only front end validation then it works fine and the validation messages are correctly shown.
    any suggestions?

    In 11.2.0.3 you are unlikely to see the various truncate/drop issues relating to large numbers of small extents - unless you use dictionary managed tablespaces.
    There are a couple of possible threats with small extents and highly concurrent inserts with ASSM that might be a temporary problem when the object size is small. There may still be some issues with large uncommitted inserts or deletes making other session's work very hard to identify free blocks until the large transaction has committed - these things can be hard to test.
    There may still be a couple of inefficiencies with parallel query and small extents, although parallel CTAS did have a (possibly temporary) hack to allocate immediate large extents to work around some of the silly details.
    Really you need to think through your requirements and them model them on your system - some of the anomalies have changed several times over the last three years.

  • Issue with FI Validation check Screen

    Hello Friends,
    I am having an issue with creating FI validation, specifically the check tab. I need to input BSEG-GSBER = 'EES', but I dont see BSEG in the list of structures. How can I add it?
    Thanks.
    Zack

    Hi,
    I have asked to check whether the BSEG structure is allowed to be used in the Pre-requisits part of the validation or not.
    Also check that you are defining the validation step at level 2 (Line Item level) or at level 3 (Complete Document Level).
    As level 1 (Header Level) does not allow the BSEG structure.

    Gaurav

  • Issues with WebForm performance

    Hi,
    We had migrated a new application from UAT to PROD and we encounter webform performance issues with the following actions..
    After login, the first form you open it is
    always slow. After this you can switch from one form to another without a
    delay.
    Then once you change any data – the next time
    you access a form it gets delayed.
    The point to be noted is, it doesnt have any performance issues in the UAT environment and the configuration settings,essbase cache settings are all the same. We did try to move the EPM system to a new server to see if this is a hardware issue but no luck, the performance issues still exist. The consumption of the CPU/memory has been checked and it is proved that the form opening delay has nothing to do with lack of memory.
    The JVM head settings is set up at 4GB which is infact higher than that of the UAT environment(2GB).
    runs on Windows server2008,11.1.2.1.600 EPM serve, has planning,reporting,foundation on one server (32GB ram) and essbase on another server (32GB ram). Any help is appreciated.
    Please find attached the planning logs below and there is nothing mentioned in the hyperionplanning error logs.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I already replied there but it seems no moderator is willing to approve my reply so it never shows up.
    So I'll try replying in here instead:
    I never thought it could be an emulator issue, I thought I had done something wrong to begin with. So I take having performance issues with tiled layer is not a common problem I suppose?
    I'm using MOTODEV SDK platform, A1200 model (motorola).

  • Issues with using 3 monitors on 2 external gpu

    Hi,
    I have some issues with configuring Xorg to use 3 monitors. I have 2 external graphic cards (same model, no SLI). Monitors connected to the first gpu are recognized ok but I can't configure my 3rd monitor conencted to the second gpu via HDMI nor DVI.
    1st is recognized as DVI-I-1, 2nd is DP-1 in first card, 3rd monitor is in second card (bus 22:00.0) as DP-1-2 (also tried connecting as DVI-I-2). I can see them in Xorg log but I can't configure my 3rd monitor via kscreen nor xrandr. :-/

    I have  a similar issue except with two ATI cards and four monitors.
    I have a working xorg.conf that uses Xinerama and all 4 work but have been trying to get xrandr to work since xinerama is deprecated supposedly.
    I would like to switch to xrandr but there is some kind of magic voodoo I have with my current xorg.conf that doesn't even work on an exact same machine and cards that I tried to setup for a co-worker.

  • Issue with Upgrading to 2nd Generation MotoX

    Dear Verizon Wireless and Motorola Mobility,
    Your 2nd Generation Moto X Upgrade program is fatally flawed and my experience highlights everything that could possibly go wrong when attempting to upgrade an existing plan.
    As Verizon replied to my tweet (my twitter name is @melting_plastic), “Getting a new phone should be an exciting time.” but my experience has been everything but that.
    My current phone is a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. This was my first entry into the Android operating system and I fell in love. As a former Blackberry user, I was a bit hesitant to switch but upon receiving this phone in May of 2012, I had nothing but a great experience with it. This experience made want to continue with a Motorola phone upon my next available upgrade and I had waited to upgrade my phone until the newest Motorola phones were announced. I put off my upgrade for over 5 months waiting for the announcement of a new phone with my current phone deteriorating. The battery life has dropped to less than 2 hours and it has begun to freeze constantly with all the upgrades to software that it is unable to handle. Due to these issues, I checked every day waiting for an announcement of the new Moto X to be release and was finally happy when it was announced it would be released on September 27th for Verizon.
    On the morning of Friday September 27th, I attempted to order my phone, a 32gb model, through the MotoMaker website and my first issue arose. Even though I was eligible for an upgrade, the MotoMaker website required a credit check for me to upgrade. As I am not the primary account holder, I did not feel comfortable inputting my father's information for a credit check. I also felt it was not necessary as I was paying the $149.99 by my credit card and the account has been with Verizon since the mid 1990's while it was still Bell Atlantic. As I was eligible for an upgrade and not a new account, it seemed a bit much that this credit check was needed. After searching the internet, I found many posts from the original Moto X release about this issue and the solution was to go to a Verizon Wireless store and pre-purchase the phone there and use the provided pin to order the phone at the MotoMaker website.
    During my lunch break on September 27th, I visited the Wireless Zone retailer in Malvern Pennsylvania and waited for over 45 minutes to talk to an associate in an attempt to pre-purchase this phone and receive a pin for the website. This associated had no information about the ability to purchase this pin nor could he order the 32gb model directly for me. He apologized to me about the wait and his inability to fulfill my order but recommended me to go to a retail Verizon Wireless store as they may be able to help me.
    After returning to work, I decided to attempt to discuss my issue using the Verizon Wireless help chat on its website. The operator suggested to call the Verizon support line and that they should be able to help me on this purchase. I proceeded to place the call, once again waiting on hold for 30 minutes, until I finally was able to talk to a representative. This representative was unable to help me but transferred me to another department that may be able to. After a brief hold, I was transferred to an individual who was finally able to help me out. He informed me that the 32gb model was not in the Verizon system but was expected to be added on October 1st. He apologized for the wait but at least he was able to provide me with valid information.
    On Saturday October 4th, I visited the Verizon Retail location in King of Prussia Pennsylvania and once again waited 45 minutes before being seen by a representative. This time I was helped by an associate named Jeremy who knew exactly what I meant by purchasing a pin. After a bit of struggling to properly place the order, the order was placed with the help of a manager, at the price of $199.99 with a $50 mail-in-rebate. This became the 2nd area of disappointment. Not only did I have to wait to purchase this phone but I had to pay an increased rate up front and needed to send in for a mail-in-rebate. I thanked Jeremy for his help and headed back to my residence 15 miles away.
    Once home, I attempted to place the order for my phone. As I live 100+ miles away from the primary account address, I had planned to have the phone shipped to my work as I had done when I purchased my Droid Razr Maxx. The MotoMaker website prevented me from changing the shipping address and I was once against frustrated by this process. I used the MotoMaker online support tool and they informed me that I must contact Verizon and they can adjust the shipping address as each PIN has a pre-defined shipping address attached to it.
    I called Verizon's technical support line at approximately 4:30PM from my home phone. After once again waiting on hold for half an hour, I was finally connected to an associate and she was very friendly and attempted to help me with my shipping issue. She understood my frustration and placed a 3-way call between her, myself and Motorola support. During this call, she and myself became very frustrated with Motorola support staff as they refused to adjust the shipping address and stated that there was nothing that they could do. She apologized to me and suggested that I return to the King of Prussia location and attempt to sort it out there.
    Begrudgingly, I returned to the Verizon location and once again waited to speak to Jeremy. He apologized for my situation and saw the only way to rectify it was to have FedEx adjust the shipment address after it had been shipped. He informed me that any charges that would be incurred to do so would be credited to my account if I returned to the store with the receipt.
    I returned home and attempted to place the order again. This time I was able to adjust my shipping address and placed the order. While doing so, I received an error message and was instructed to call Motorola's support line. I called this line at around 7:45PM and spoke to a gentleman named Christian. He opened up support case 141005-006808 and informed me that because of my attempt to change the shipping address, this was why the error occurred. He instructed me to attempt to replace the order using the original supplied address and e-mail account and that I “must” use the Chrome web browser. This statement of having to use the Chrome browser was a complete fallacy and he refused to accept that any other browser could be used to properly order the phone. I installed the Chrome browser, attempted to order the phone and this time I was informed that my PIN was already used, likely during the original failed attempt. Christian informed me that he must escalate the issue and it would take an additional 24-48 hours. The simple act of creating a new PIN should not take this amount of time.
    On Monday October 6th, I was finally able to get in contact with another associate from Motorola who was instantly able to create a new PIN for me. I once again placed the order and this time it went through with no issue, order number 00789348. The only disappointment was that I now had to wait until “approximately October 27th” to receive my new phone. During my waiting period, I periodically check the MotoMaker website and during that time, noticed that they offered an additional $50 discount on the Verizon Moto X which would have brought my total down to $99.99. So on top of the additional wait and disappointment, I had now paid $100 over the current price through MotoMaker .
    On Tuesday, October 22nd, I finally received the e-mail stating that my phone had shipped and was due to arrive in Forked River, NJ on October 23rd. Using the FedEx website, I attempted to adjust my shipping address to my work, at the cost of $30 and a delay until Friday October 24th. I was unable to perform this action and then attempted to adjust the shipping address to the location I would be at Friday night (my sister's house) for the same delay, but only a cost of $5. Once again I was unable to perform this action and decided to call FedEx directly. After speaking to the associate at FedEx, she informed me that the only way to adjust the address was to have the shipper, Motorola Mobility adjust the address. With my previous issues with Motorola, I knew that this request would be denied. At this point, my only recourse is to have my parents ship me the phone to my work once they receive it on October 23rd. Even then, I'm unsure if FedEx will leave the phone at the location without a signature if no one is there to sign for it, which is why I attempted to ship the phone to my work.
    At this point, I'm extremely dissatisfied with both Verizon and Motorola with how this whole situation has transpired. I feel a though I should have purchased an Apple iPhone 6 even though I am not a fan of the iOS platform or a different Android OS manufacturer. As a Fios account holder, I am also tempted to switch to the competition after 3+ years of being a customer. I feel that both Motorla and Verizon failed to rectify any hardship I had experienced in my attempt to purchase this phone and even now fear that I will not receive my phone in time to mail in mail-in-rebate which needs to be postmarked by November 1st.

        MPerreca, This is quite a lot for you to have to go through! We surely don't want to lose your business as we appreciate your loyalty with us. I understand the challenges that can come in needing the shipping address changed on your phone orders. I'm glad to learn that the phone is now on it's way.
    I'm confident that you'll be fine with submitting the rebate for your phone. If you do run into troubles with the submission, please let us know. You can also pre-submit your rebate information, here: http://bit.ly/1kKwKJK. Let us know if you have further concerns.

  • Issue with table ROOSPRMSF entries for data source 0FI_AP_4

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing with an issue where we found incosistencies with table ROOSPRMSF in R/3 system.
    In BW , we have done initializations based on fiscal period selections (none of the selections overlap) for data source 0FI_AP_4.
    We have done in total 7 initializations. So in BW system in table RSSDLINITSEL we have 7 initialization requests.
    But in R/3 system we have 49 records for data source 0FI_AP_4 in ROOSPRMSF table out of which 42 are invalid records.
    I suspect that these 42 invalid records are created due to the execution of program RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE when the tables ROOSPRMSF are actually holding the 7 initialization request entries.   Due to this each and every initialization request is linked to rest of the other intialization requests and ended with 49 records in table ROOSPRMSF table.
    Now our data loads are running fine but daily a short dump is raised . In the daily loads, BW init records in RSSDLINITSEL are compared with ROOSPRMSF entries and all the other 42 records which are invalid are written into system log and a short dump is raised.
    In order to fix these inconsistencies i checked for OSS note 852443. (Point 3 in OSS note)
    But it is specified to delete the delta queue for data source 0FI_AP_4 in RSA7 and instructed to execute the program RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE so that the ROOSPRMSF table will be reconstructed with valid records available in RSSDLINITSEL.
    From OSS note 852443 point 3
    "3. If the RSSDLINIT table in the BW system already contains entries, check the requests listed there in the RNR column in the monitor (transaction RSRQ). Compare these entries with the entries in the ROOSPRMSF and ROOSPRMSC tables with the INITRNR field. If, in the ROOSPRMSF and ROOSPRMSC tables for your DataSource source system combination, there are more entries with different INITRNR numbers, use transaction RSA7 in an OLTP source system to delete all entries and then use the RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE report mentioned in the next section. For a DataMart source system, delete the entries that you cannot find in the RSSDLINIT table using the procedure described above."
    My question is if we delete the delta queue in RSA7 then all the tables in R/3 (ROOSPRMSF, ROOSPRMSC, Time stamp table) and BW (RSSDLINITSEL, initialization requests will be deleted) will be cleared. Then how will the program RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE  copy entries into ROOSPRMSF table in R/3 ?
    Could any one please clarify this ?
    Thanks
    Regards,
    Jeswanth

    Hi Amarnath,
    Did you unhide the new field in RSA6 and regenerated the DataSource?
    Often SAP will populate newly added fields (belonging to the same (set) of table(s) used for extraction) automatically (e.g. SAP uses 'move-corresponding' in it's extractor-code, or, in this case, reading all fields from the DD, FM BWFIU_TRANSFORM_FIELDLIST).
    If the DataSource looks fine to you and the field is still not populated in RSA3 you can't go without a user-exit.
    Grtx,
    Marco

  • Issue with MacBook Air and nouveau

    Hi.
    I've installed Arch Linux on MacBook Air with Nvidia 320M videocard. Proprietary nvidia driver does not work at all and nouveau has video artefacts (photo attached because screenshot pictures haven't any problems): horizontal noisy black lines and wrong colors on the left two thirds of screen.

    nvidiafb works fine, but it has no dri and has problems with suspend.
    How to resolve this problem with nouveau? Is it crtc-related or not? Playing with xrandr does not have any effect (except resolution change).

    I had an issue with my MBA seeing my HP printer and could find no good reason for the issue.  In the end I deleted the printers WiFi connection and then turned around and set it up on my WiFi network all over again.  My MBA now finds the printer every time.  Okay ...so I don't actually know why it didn't work the first time, but it does now.  Again, there was no apparent issue with either the HP printer or the MBA being connected to WiFi in the first place, but something different must have occurred in software/hardware the second time.

  • Imessage and other Issues with 3rd Gen iPad

    Hi there, just got a 3rd Gen iPad for the mrs and so far it's been great.
    However, several rather annoying issues have developed and I can't seem to find the right trouble shooting for it, so I thought I'd try here.
    So here they are:
    iMessage & facetime don't work
    Issue 1- Each time she uses her Apple ID log in for either feature a message "iMessage Activation: Could no sign in. Please check your network connection and try again". I've checked the network settings, I've reset them on the iPad and yet it seems to persist. Her appleID is valid as it works on her iPhone, which is using the same network/Wifi as the iPad, yet the iPad seems to decide it doesn't want to activate. I've signed in on my appleID and the same message seems to appear
    Issue 2 - When using apps like Chrome a constant message will appear "Connect to iTunes to use push notifications" every time the app is open. This has been done, it's been backed up and it has connected to iTunes, yet these messages still pop up each time chrome is opened.

    I also am having issues with my ipad mini as far as imessage . sometimes it works fine . Sometines I receive ok but it hangs on sending . i have tried everything . I think the apple server is a mess  Most times I can only send If i am replying to a message i received . If i try to start a message it hangs . No reason found
