Issues in processing the Parameter as a set of values

Hi Group,
I have a requirement as under:
In my selection screen, I am using a parameter ( name : Sales order ) and on click of this, all the Sales orders and Sales order Items will be shown as :
Sales order     Item
S0100               0001
S0100               0002
S0101               0001
S0101               0002
S0102               0001
Now, the user will be able to select either 1 or many from the above input help entries....
Question is, how can I process this Parameter ( Sales order ) as a set of entries ( i.e., as a table ).
so please kindly give inputs to overcome this requirement.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Vishnu.

Using Select Options u will get mulitiple values also u will get values like table.
regards,
kumar.

    Hi Group,
we are facing issues while processing the BOMs using the basic type(Z-idoc type) for standard type BOMMAT04.
thing is that the segment 'E1STPOM' is defined to contain 1 to 99999 records in it.
when an Idoc is run(say with 150/200 segments of 'E1STPOM'), there was a standard error with error message id PIC01(number : 004) when the Idoc is processed with the Standard function module 'CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN'.
the error says 'Error reading material FING_005 . Exception: 0' and Check whether the material number is blocked. but when checked, the Material seems not blocked.
kindly advise how to overcome this error and proceed further.
    Regards,
    Vishnu

Checj the material status, while its transfer from one server to another server the status should be different

  • Issue when processing the variable screen Bex 7.0

    Hi,
We have a issue where in a query the variables that the user selects are being ignored and the query runs wide open.
Esentially what happens is when you open a query, execute it and then close and again open a different query, the varaibles from previous query selection are carried and even if you change the variable values the user selects are neglected and query rund wide open.
Please let me know if you have encountered such an issue.
    Thanks,

There is no such known issue like this.
However, you can check with SAP GUI patch level, Things are working fine with patch level 8 for SAP GUI 710.
There are lot of compatability issues here and there with GUI710 with MS Excel 2003..

  • Issues in Processing the Master-Detail Form values

We have a requirement in Oracle Internet Expenses (11.5.10) to fetch the form values from the Expense Allocations Screen.
This page is based on Multiple VOs with Master Detail relationship. The data from the VOs mentioned are displayed in the Hgrid region.
I need to fetch the input values for three fields (from different VOs) and pass them as paramater to the database function to perform the validation.
Here, I am creating the handle for VO objects and using the Row object getting all rows in range (getAllRowsinRange()).
The issue here is always, the Row length() is always fetched as 1 even it has multiple rows.
Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

Using Select Options u will get mulitiple values also u will get values like table.

  • Restrict the data to a set of values in the input selection

    Hi,
We have a requirement it goes like this..
I've a object ZTEST which stores values (A,B, C..... Z). This object is extensively used across various DSO's and Infoset and Reports were created on top of them.
Whenever I create a prompt on this object..I get all the values ranging from (A, B,C....Z).
Now my requirement is, one of the report is intrested in only couple of values from ZTEST say (A,B,C and D). If I create prompt on this object I should get only (A, B,C and D ) in the selection screen.
Could anyone help me in this regard

  • Setting the parameter DIR_ORAHOME for a Dialog Instance

I have been advised by the SAP GoLiveCheck to set the parameter DIR_ORAHOME for my dialog instances. The Oracle home is currently on the central instance at G:\oracle\SID\102. What must the path for the parameter DIR_ORAHOME be set to on the dialog instance? (central_host\.....???))
    Help.
    Scott

    Hello Scott,
    >> What must the path for the parameter DIR_ORAHOME be set to on the dialog instance?
The paraemeter must be the same as on the database server itself. Set the DIR_ORAHOME in the default profile.. that is the way we do it.
    For example: /oracle/<SID>/102_64

    5.question
a.The value of sqlnet.expire_time is only one minute. Why did the server take about 20 minutes to release the lock and server process?
    b. Is there other factor to delay the lock and server process to releas such as tcp/ip kernel parameter?
    Thanks in advance.

  • XL - Reporter - To set current system date as the PARAMETER to run a report

    Hi
    Version : SAP 2007 B
    Patch : 10
Using the XL -  Reporter we had designed a stock report as per the client rquested format. In that Report , we use parameter function to get the start date and End date ( 2 PARAMETERS) for which the report should be generated.
Using the Report Organizer , JOB was created for the above report scheduling that the report should run daily night 9 Clock and save it in Local Computer.
Now comes the problem , how to provide the parameter ( Start and End Date - which is nothing but the server date or computer date)
Is there is any way to set the XL-Reporter Parameter - as current date or server date .
    Thanks

    Hi Balaji,

  • Issues with processing messages on one receive port causes problems on all the receive ports that are on the same handler

    Greetings,
An integrator installed biztalk in our environment to process the hl7 message flow between their source application(s) and several receiving applications. We've had problems with this set-up for a while now because some receiving applications sometimes have
problems processing the messages. Be it either because there's problems with the server that processes the messages of a certain port or because there's problems with the software/daemon/service that needs to process these messages.
The main problem with this, is that the receiving end of this isn't under our control nor under control of the integrator, but when one receive port isn't processing their messages for a while it causes a problem with all the receive ports that are on the
same handler. So other receive ports start noticing a slow-down of their incoming messages until after a while nothing gets through anymore.
What is the best practice to prevent these kind of problems? Should we just create a handler for every receive port? Because that seems a bit overkill.
    Thanks in advance.

What do you mean exactly with this question?
"Can you provide some more detail like BizTalk the receiver? "
The adapters are mainly file and MLLP, the MLLP adapters are already seperated from the file adapters (a handler for MLLP and a handler for file).
The problem with all the receive ports is that when one receive port isn't processing its messages (usually caused by the software processing the messages) the other receive ports on the same handler receive their messages/files a lot slower. If for any
reason the problem isn't fixed soon, the other receive ports on the same handler actually stop receiving any messages at all.
Isolating the receive port that causes the problems like la Cour suggested can work, but next time it might be another port that experiences this issue. So we are looking for a way to make sure the whole message flow isn't hindered by one port (whichever
port) that can't process its messages. Or rather by one receiving software that can't process its messages.

  • Start-Process ignores the parameter "-wait" with explorer.exe

    Hi all,
maybe it´s a stupid question, but...
    Start-Process notepad.exe -Wait
...will wait for closing the process "notepad.exe".
    Start-Process explorer.exe -Wait
...will not wait for closing it, instead the script will go on.
My question: Why? :) is it because "explorer.exe" is a core element of Windows and there are more then one process? For whaty exactly is the parameter "-wait" waiting for? Finishing the process name, the Process ID?
    is it a bug?
Otherwise, do you have a good idea for that scenario:
a script will be started and opens a dedicated network share. Within this share the user (ServiceDesk Employee) can paste a CSV file, and after closing the Explorer, the script will read in this CSV and import that informations.
    Thank you guys!

I think the issue is due to explorer.exe is always running, if you stop that process, then you will lose your entire desktop. By opening File Explorer, a new explorer.exe process does not start up. You can verify this by opening task manager, and under the
process tab, look at your process count, and then open a few File Explorer windows, this count does not change.
Your script may need to be a two step process, where the Help Desk user manually copies the CSV file, then runs the script, or you can do a Read-Host, where they put in the path to the CSV file, and then your script can copy it to where it needs to go, and
    then continue its execution.
