Issues in Production time : Urgent

Hi Folks Can anybody help me in figuring out these issues on real time scenario...
1) How to handle if the one system is down for long time when other subsequent systems are up and getting the data. ( The scenario  is  that we are sending   data to 3  different  Receiver and  one Source ) we cannot  stop the source  and cannot  resend the data to  the  down  system  because  we will loose  the sequential  order..
2)  Message Missing though it is Successful in Sxmb_Moni and in Adapter Communication Channel
500 Internal server error we have to find Manually and apply the SAP notes. Increase the Queue, Fine Tuning the Performance, increasing the Session of the Particular Adapter
3) If it is Huge Load, the Message content  tab   does not  appears  ..If that is the case how to handle the situation
4) 100000 + records how to handle it. SAP XI takes 4 hours to deliver to third party system has to send the data in 30 minutes...with help
5)  How to make  a counter value  for  group  of  messages  handled  by  particular  Interface.  for  example  though the  messages  are chunked to  several blocks  we  need  continuity for  the counter
6) Trace for JDBC adapter
7) To debug in Visual Admin

1) How to handle if the one system is down for long time when other subsequent systems are up and getting the data. ( The scenario is that we are sending data to 3 different Receiver and one Source ) we cannot stop the source and cannot resend the data to the down system because we will loose the sequential order..
for the system down XI makes the 3 attempts to resend the data to that system and the frequecy for eachtime is maintained in the paramter in SXMB_ADM...you can increase the parameter value so that XI tries to resend that many times before throwing the errror in SXMB_MONI...if still system is not up then once it is up you have to restart the messages in order....
2) Message Missing though it is Successful in Sxmb_Moni and in Adapter Communication Channel
Message missing ( if it sucesfull in SXMB_MONI and CC then you should recive the messgae in the target of the CC, it cannot say sucessfull  and then dnt deliver...
500 Internal server error we have to find Manually and apply the SAP notes. Increase the Queue, Fine Tuning the Performance, increasing the Session of the Particular Adapter
this delends on the interface flow( data) depneidng up on how system is performing you might end up doing the fine tuning......
3) If it is Huge Load, the Message content tab does not appears ..If that is the case how to handle the situation:
there is no alternative to this,,,if the payload is huge the MM tab takes some time to show the data only thing you can finetune to XI server ( check blogs on this)
4) 100000 + records how to handle it. SAP XI takes 4 hours to deliver to third party system has to send the data in 30 minutes...with help
100000 + records this is a huge number,,,,but should not take 4 hrs to process..if it is there is something wrong with the system...you have to do the finetuning and find out y it is taking more time.....
ideally you can break this 100000 record into 10 files each containing 10000 records and process,,,,,use any file splitting program and call it in OS command in file adatper
5) How to make a counter value for group of messages handled by particular Interface. for example though the messages are chunked to several blocks we need continuity for the counter.
Need more info
6) Trace for JDBC adapter : adapter monitoring details are not sufficent?

  • Pricing issue with Product hierarchy - Urgent

    Hello,
    I have an issue on pricing determination with product hierarchy.
    I created product hierarchy as following,
    level1 - A0001
    level2 - A0001B0001
    level3 - A0001B0001C0001
    Then, assigned A0001B0001C0001 to material D in material master.
    I created condition record with A0001B0001C0001(level 3),  the system found the condition sucessfully when I created a sales order with material D.
    However, I created condition record with A0001(level1) but the system didn't get the price when I created the sales order with material D.  Since A0001B0001C0001 belongs to A0001, the system is supposed to get the price from the condition record with A0001...
    Could you please let me know how to fix it?

    Hi,
    Thanks a lot for your kind explanation.
    Here is the access sequence I defined.  I wonder if there is anyway I can define PRODH1, PRODH2, PRODH3 in access sequnce the same way with customer hierarchy so that the system can check higher level data.  If it's not allowed, I think I should define routine in requirement as you advised.  Thanks!

  • To restrict Issue for production than planned qty in production order

    Hi Experts,
    In my scenario, the production staff will prepare production order and right click in production order document and select "Issue Components" option to Issue raw materials for production floor. After issuing the raw materials to production floor closes the "Issue for Production" document and now we have "Production Order" document open in screen. When he again select "Issue Components" option and issues the raw materials once again. Materials are issued once again wrongly. This happens since the production order document is not getting refresh after "Issue for Production" document is done.
    Is there any way to restrict issue of raw materials than the planned qty.?
    I have tried lot of ways to restrict this through SP. Please revert me an solution to this issue.
    The procedure should trigger immediately when the "Issue Components" option is selected second time (If the raw materials are issued in full in first time itself). And it should allow only the qty which is to issued to production order qty (if they issue part issue to production order)
    Thanks in advance
    Raja.S

    Hi Neetu,
    Thanks for your quick response. I have tried this query. But it is not blocking the issue for production document even the raw materials are issued already for the production order.
    I'll explain my work flow again. The Production staff will prepare production order and then release the same and update the production order after changing  the status for "Release". Then he will right click the Mouse button and select "Issue Components" option and perform the Issue for Production process. He will issue the required raw material completely in one shot and add the Issue for Production document.
    After adding the Issue for Production document he will close that document and now we will be in Production order document. Now our production order document will not get refreshed. Now the Production staff go for "Issue components" option, then it should not allow him to issue the components once again. But it is allowing him to issue components any number of times. there is no control.
    If we browse the production order document to previous record and browse back to the same record then my Production order document get refreshed and now we can control the issue. But what should i do to control in the earlier case. Since they want to perfrom lot of production order, there is a chance to issue components for same production order more than one time before the production order document get refreshed.
    Please provide me the SP to control this scenario.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Error while adding  the issue for production (item cost not found)

    Hi all,
    The scenario is,
    when the user is trying to add the issue for production system is showing error item cost not
    found.The item which is issued is Inventory + purchase item with manual issue method.The valuation
    method for that item is FIFO.since the valuation method is FIFO,error related to item cost should
    not occur.
    Since the valuation method is FIFO.Item cost error should not occur.
    The error related to item cost must not occur at the time of issue for production.

    Hi Rob thanks for your response.  I thought about doing an OSS note however; I would think I would need to get the problem in config corrected first as it contradicts each other.  The problem I am talking about is how they are to return material to vendor....I have never even seen this as a process in my 10 years....
    Process.....when the PO is a return to vendor PO they go to migo and choose the goods receipt and mvmt type 101 and the system will default the 161 in the item level....the two are inconsistent.  If I try to change the top level to a 161 mvmt (as this is what I am used to seeing) it gives the error that the PO is not a stock transport order... Would you agree that I should correct that problem first before creating an OSS note?

  • How to get material's last posting date of issuing to production order?

    Hi,
    In my scenario, I need to get material's last posting date of issuing to production order (e.g. mov. typ. 261).
    I tried to select the material documents whose movement type is 261, and restrict the posting date from month to month each time, until the first material document is selected.
    But this method seems quite inefficient.
    What kind of algorithm is more effient to do this?
    Thanks

  • Issue for Production Query

    Hi,
    I'm having a situation when I print "Issue for Production" for an item, sometimes the batch issued printed out wrongly. I'm wondering is there a way to write a query to display issue for production (item code, item description, quantity, batch) based on production number? Please advise. Thank you for your help and time.
    Cheers,
    serene

    Try the code below. You will have to replace the XXXXXXXXX with Document Number of the Production Order.
    SELECT     dbo.OIGE.DocEntry,dbo.OIGE.DocNum, dbo.IGE1.ItemCode, dbo.IGE1.Dscription,
    dbo.IBT1.BatchNum,dbo.IBT1.Quantity, dbo.IGE1.LineNum
    FROM         dbo.OIGE INNER JOIN
                          dbo.IGE1 ON dbo.OIGE.DocEntry = dbo.IGE1.DocEntry
    INNER JOIN dbo.IBT1 ON dbo.IGE1.ObjType = dbo.IBT1.BaseType
    and dbo.OIGE.DocEntry = dbo.IBT1.BaseEntry and dbo.OIGE.DocNum = dbo.IBT1.BaseNum
    and dbo.IGE1.LineNum = dbo.IBT1.BaseLinNum
    and dbo.IGE1.ItemCode = dbo.IBT1.ItemCode
    where dbo.IGE1.BaseType = 202
    and dbo.OIGE.DocNum = XXXXXXXXX
    order by dbo.IGE1.LineNum

  • Issue for production via SAP Business Objects

    Hi all,
    I would like to create Issue for production from SAP Business Object. I am using C#.net. I did not find it in DIAPI
    Is there any way ????
    Issue is urgent
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Manish,
    IT worked for me, you can try it.
    SAPbobsCOM.Documents ldoc_RecHdr = (SAPbobsCOM.Documents)oCompany.GetBusinessObject(BoObjectTypes.oInventoryGenExit);
                   ldoc_RecHdr.DocDate = Convert.ToDateTime(DTPPostingDate.Value);
                    ldoc_RecHdr.Reference2 = txtRefNo.Text;
                    ldoc_RecHdr.Comments = richtxtRemark.Text;
                    ldoc_RecHdr.DocType = SAPbobsCOM.BoDocumentTypes.dDocument_Items;
                    for (int i = 0; i < DataGrid.RowCount; i++)
                        ldoc_RecHdr.Lines.BaseEntry = Convert.ToInt32(DataGrid.Rows[i].Cells[0].Value);
                        ldoc_RecHdr.Lines.BaseType = Convert.ToInt32("202");
                        ldoc_RecHdr.Lines.BaseLine = i;
                        ldoc_RecHdr.Lines.Quantity = Convert.ToDouble(DataGrid.Rows[i].Cells[3].Value);
                        ldoc_RecHdr.Lines.WarehouseCode = DataGrid.Rows[i].Cells[5].Value.ToString();
                        ldoc_RecHdr.Lines.Add();
                    if (ldoc_RecHdr.Add() != 0)
                        string error = oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription();

  • Excess goods issue against Production order

    HI PP Gurus,
    My requirement is to block excess goods issue of raw material against a production order.
    Ex. Production order qty = 10 , For producing 10 Finish goods i require 10 raw material. When i do confirmation via CO11N  the system automatically shows GR & GI Values in Goods Movement tab. there i change GI value of RM from 10 to 20 the system takes the value and does the GR & GI.
    My requirement is that the system should not do GR & GI if the GI value is more than that is calculated at the time of creation of Prod. Order.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Deven

    Hi,
    Rstriction of excess goods issue against production order is not possible in standard setting.
    For achiving this you have to go for User exit.
    The logic should be
    In MIGO check mvt. type 261
    Pass the order through table RESB and select all the components with quantity.
    Capture the header material of order and use this as input along with the order creation date, plant and BOM application to explode function module CS_BOM_EXPLOSION.
    THis will give you the BOM components which were valid at the time of order creation.
    Now compare these BOM components with the components from RESB with quantity.
    Here conditions will come in picture
    If quantity is exactly matching then GI will be possible
    or if you want to keep tolerance limit say for 10% then accordingly you can map the condition.

  • DTW--  How to Import  Issue for Production

    Hi ,
             How do i import Issue for Production Through DTW.
    Thanks & Regards
    somi mishra

    hello,
    why do you want to use DTW to issue for production ? You could use backflush as issue method so that you can skip issue for production job. If you have issue for production batch job which it means you want to add all the qty of RM issued to production one times and all at onces for more than 10 PO, I think it is better to use addon. You create an excel template and export the data to be txt file, the txt file imported to the issue for production form using the addon. I just compare this situation with the client request in long time ago. they request fast and not manual sales order creation from quotation. just to compare it to your situation but need your detail explanation.
    Rgds,

  • Buying in Kg and issue for production in Litres

    Hi All,
    One of my client is having a requirement where they buy raw material in KG and issue for production in Litres.  Based on density of the material when issues in litres the same should be converted into Kilograms automatically and deduct it from Instock.
    How can we map this scenario?
    thanks
    SV Reddy

    HI SV,
    Even though you have closed this thread, let me offer some of my experiances in the Base Oil industries.
    They had the same requirements as you except that when they received Base Oil from their supplier, its in Litres and when they issue to Production (as a component) its in KG for the the "Filler" to use a scale to measure how much he is putting into the tank.  Another diff is that each "Batch" of Base Oil has its own charrecteristics and the density and viscosity is never exactly the same.
    We solved this with
    - keeping the Inventory Unit of measure as LTs, what they use in when Purchasing ps: the finished product is always in Litres. ie: Kgs in -> Lts out.
    - Each bathc of the item recieved has a factor based on a chart and formulars that gives the "Unit Ratio" for the KG : LT
    - So when they buy in LT, in the Purchase Order, its straight forward. BUT, when they issue to production, the Production order calculates the Weight of what is required and prints it on the Production order Sheet.  This way the production guy does not have to go through the calculations manually all the time. The Production Order takes the Litre Base Qty and checks against the selected "Batch"'s "Unit Ratio" and does the calculation and stores it on that items line in the Prod Ord.
    This has been working for them and we have modified it to suite other items that have other Production Charrecteristics Requirements.
    A bit complex but im sure the concept applies to alot of Liquid Manufacturing Industires.
    Regards.
    P.S: this was all achieved with and an Add-On Development

  • Report showing planned vs. real production times

    Hi,
    I am using APO 7.03 and try to find out if there is a possibility of comparing the planned vs. real production times. we need to compare the planned times maintained in operations of the routings with the real production times coming from the confirmations of production orders. Is there any report, etc. in APO PPDS or in SAP PP where we could see that?
    thanks in advance for all input!
    br,
    Wojciech

    Hi,
    As far as i know, there are not exact report that will fulfill your requirement. However i would suggest you some Standard SAP reports where you can get data.
    1) MCPH - Report for  work centre Analysis
    2) MCRW - Report for resourse analysis
    3) COID - Which will give you,
    a) Capacity to be confirmed
    b) Actual Confirmation.
    IN above mentioned report you have to choose key filed to be selected.
    Further more,
    For planned data,
    1) go to table - AFVV, Input Routing No.
    Output - VGW03, VGW04 i.e. your planned time for operation
    For actual Data,
    1) go to table AFRU input Routing ni. or Process Order
    Output: Actual phase confirmations.
    Revert if you found info useful.

    John,
    I'd pay good money to bet it wouldn't last 5 years... I don't rate the in built power supply and as for "server grade hard disk" - Hmmmm..... The failure rate of all HD's on the market after 3 year is 60%.

  • Print layout - Goods issue & Issue for Production

    I designed two print layouts separately 1 in Goods issue for Goods issue in inventory module
    and 1 in Issue for production for Issue for production in production module.
    If i take a print preview or print in Issue for production , it will reflects the print layout designed in Goods issue.
    regards

    Hi Kavitha,
    I think, are you duplicate the Goods issue PLD Template to Issue for Production PLD Template on Duplicate Layout Template.
    Best, Try to create a New PLD from Issue for Production(System) PLD.
