ISync Conduit not visible in HotSync Manager Mac OS X 10.5.5 (Leopard)

Hi,
i just bought a Palm Z22 thinking it compatible to iSync (see http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/ ) after my Visor Edge wouldn't sync any more. Now I am experiencing the exact same problem as with the Visor Edge:
I installed Palm Desktop 4.2.2 (shipped with the Z22), I started iSync and clicked "Enable Palm OS Syncing"; iSync told me to start the HotSync Manager and to enable the iSync-Conduit in the Conduit-Manager - problem: The iSync-Conduit does not show up in the Conduit Manager window. However, in the conduit folder (Library/Application Support/Palm HptSync/Conduits) there is a file called "Apple" amongst the other conduit-files.
Please help...?

Hi,
I have a Tungsteng 5 and I was syncing it with an XP PC. I bought a MacBook with OS X 10.5, I installed Palm Desktop 4.2.1 Rev D for Mac. I have synced once and then I followed the iSync instructions to add the Palm device but I don't see the iSync conduit in the Hosync Manager.
Any idea?

    I shared a HP C3180 (Printer+Scanner) on a server running SnowLeopard. While I can still scan from other SL-machines via the preview application, the scanner is not visible from machines running Lion. Printing from Lion is no problem, but it just does not show up as a scanner in the networked devices list of preview and image capture applications. Any idea?

    Having very similar problem and have not solved it yet. Got some diagnostic info, though.
    I downloaded the Bonjour Browser on the Lion Mac. IT can see the scanner service being offered by the Snow Leopard Mac. But the System Perferences - Print & Scan cannot (although it see the printer part of the all-in-one just fine; it works, too). Neither can Image Capture.
    For what it is worth, downloaded latest all-in-one driver from the vendor. Vendor says it is for Lion. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Sigh ...

    I'm novice to EPMA.
    I have successfully created and deployed an EPMA application,but when i'm unable to see the application(s) under planning node.
    As per my knowledge EPMA application by default deployes in calculation manager,if so why the application is not visible.

    The issue is resolved now.
    The calculation manager service was set to automatic, set it back to manual and restarted calculation manager service.
    It showed the application in calc manager.

  • Printers are not visible in Print management

    Installed print server feature in Windows server 2012 .We have added few printers in server, but these printers are not visible in printers section of Print management console.Even the default Microsoft XPS writer is not showing up.
    Restarted Spooler service and reinstalled print management console.Server DNS record looks good too.
    Able to view the printers in "Device and printers" .They are not visible only in print management console.

    Please check if some necessary updates need to be installed. Please run
    sfc /scannow command to scan all protected system files.
    Meanwhile, please use
    Get-Printer PowerShell cmdlet retrieves a list of printers installed on the computer. Did all printers display correctly?
    In addition, please open Print Management, click Printer Servers, expand
    your printer server, then right click Printers and select “Add Printer…”. Please check if you will be able to find printers via this wizard.
    If anything I misunderstand or any update, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

  • Navigator Not Visible in Directory Manager

    On Win XP Pro Oracle Directory service does not start on boot, even though it is set to do so automatically. It will start manually from the Windows services app. After starting the service, oidctl runs successfully from the command line "C:\>oidctl connect=oid90 server=oidldapd instance=3 configset=0 start"
    On start up Oracle Directory Manager (ODM) accepts the orcladmin/welcome logon and displays the connecting message and loading schema message. ODM opens but does not display the Navigator panel. ODM seems to be connected to the database because Objects, attributes, entries etc. are visible by selecting choices from the Operations menu.
    When OID was first installed the navigator sometimes did and sometimes did not display. Now it is never displayed.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

    I am a Business Analyst and would like to get Oracle Workflow running so I can play with Workflow Builder. I'm just trying to get my hands dirty with this stuff. I want to use OID as a directory server for workflow.
    I uninstalled 9.0.1.1 in installed 9.2.x.x. The results are similar.
    The Bind request to LDAP failed error re-appeared. I had somehow worked around this on the previous install but I don't know how. The command ldapbind -h trburns -p 389 -D cn=orcladmin -w ohwgwead returns Cant contact ldap server. The error seems to be common as it appears in numerous postings but I havent seen a clearly described explanation and solution.
    Do you have access to Oracles knowledge base? It must have a description of this problem.
    I can open ODM after the bind failure by clicking the close icon. Double clicking the banner works in cases where the navigator tree is not visible. Many thanks for that tip.
    Any authoritative information you could provide about the bind problem would be appreciated.

  • Webcam not visible in Device Manager

    Hello,
    after a reinstalltion of windows 7 on my HP Pavilion 55SG the Webcam (HP TrueVision HD) is not visible in the device manager. I´ve searched for drivers of it but on the hp page there are none.
    I have already installed cyberlinks youcam, but it says there is no webcam on my pc.
    Is there any key combination to activate the webcam?

  • Reporting Flag is not visible in the manage screen

    Hi BI Experts, Good morning.
    We load the inventory data daily in the night time which is delta load.
    5 days back, we got 0 records and the request is in red.Then i rerun the infopackage manually and got the total records in to the cube.
    From that day onwards its running successfully.
    Yesterday i deleted the bad request from infocube.
    But the Reporting flag is not visible.
    Today i didnot get the records.
    Please can anyone tell me the process.

    I tried to run it manually but it gives error.
    The error message is:
    Short text
        An exception occurred that was not caught.
    What happened?
        The exception 'CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere
         along
        the call hierarchy.
        Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
        adequately responded to, the running ABAP program 'SAPLRRMS' has to be
        terminated.
    Please give me the reply.

  • Firewire disk not visible in Workgroup Manager

    I'm setting up an only MAC server for our graphic arts class in our middle school.
    The server is a G4 with a small HD, so I have an external Maxtor firewire drive I wanted to use for file storage.
    The firewire drive shows up on the server desktop, but not in Workgroup Manager. I've checked for other ways to share the firewire drive, but can't find anything.
    Any ideas?

    I can't remember if this is a requirement or not.... (easier to try it than look-up answers in docs sometimes)...
    Is the FW drive in MS-DOS format (look at it with Disk Utility). If so, try erasing it in Disk Utility and switch to Mac OS Extended (journaled optional but recommened).

  • Enabled monitor through override not visible in custom management pack

    Hello Everyone,
    I've this requirement to enable a monitor which is disabled by default in its source sealed management pack. Using following article; via override; I enable the monitor and place it into a custom unsealed management pack.

    Now when I try creating subscription based on that monitor; and select the custom unsealed management pack; that monitor is not listed/available. However, this same monitor which is turned enabled by override; is listed; if its parent sealed management pack
    is selected. 
    Questions:
    1) Would selecting this monitor from its sealed management pack; safe to assume this monitor is now enabled? 
    2) Is this default behavior for monitors turned enabled via override? 
    Please provide input to this, how an enabled monitor through override can be referenced to be used? Thank you.

    1) If the override is done properly, yes, it is enabled. You can check that it is actually enabled by opening the health explorer of an object targeted by this monitor : it should be green/yellow/red instead of blank when it was disabled
    2) It is the default behavior. What happens is that you store the override (just a parameter that says "ok, the monitor is now enabled") in the unsealed management pack, not a copy of the actual monitor.

  • Problem: Shared iTunes, Ratings are not visible on the using Mac

    I have iTunes 7.4.1 on both Macs. One machine publishes the iTunes library.
    The files have ratings as usual. The other machine uses this shared iTunes library
    over WLAN. On this machine I don't see the ratings anymore. Since iTunes 7.4.
    Has anybody seen this, too? Ratings are not displayed on the Mac that uses
    a shared iTunes Mediathek.

    Same problem for me... Previously versions works great for me.. ratings and all library items are available... now, under shared library i can only see playlists... Folders like Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcast are visualized now as playlist not correctly...

  • DMS Tab it's not visible in Project Management (PPM 5.0)

    I have been active the SAP DMS option in:
    SPRO --> SAP Portfolio and Project Management --> Project Management --> Structure --> Define Project Types
    And configured the document settings:
    SPRO --> SAP Portfolio and Project Management --> Project Management --> Documents -->
    Create Status Profile for Documents
    Define Object Links for Documents in DMS
    Define Object Links for Project Status Reports in DMS
    But it isn't visible the DMS tab.
    Has anyone fixed this issue?

    Hi Mariano,
    DMS Status Reports tab appears at the level of Structure tab. And SAP DMS is at the level of Basic Data under Structure tab.
    Check the application configuration CPROJECTS_FPM under the package DEVELOPMENT_PROJECTS_UI_WD in SE80.
    After launching the configurator, check if all the tabs are there for the CPROJECTS_FPM.

    By Oracle design there is no link between OKE Deliverables and the Project Management Deliverables.
    Those are managed on separate tables.
    You may consider customizing the system using API to create a PJT deliverable from an OKE deliverable, maintaining a DFF attribute to see the link between the two entities. My idea is to have something similar to Oracle's solution that creates an event in Projects Billing from a billing event that user creates in OKE.

  • Syncronize not visible in Desktop Manager 5.0 on Windows 7

    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (registered version, not beta), My Blackberry Bold is runnning v4.6.0.167 (Platform 4.0.0.217) and I've upgraded to DM 5.0.
    Here's the problem ... I'm not able to Synchronize.  This is a new post b/c it's not that the DM doesn't see the device -- it's here and the PIN is present.  However, the button for Sync is simply MISSING.
    Here's the actions I've taken
    1) uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled v. 4.7 (without success of recovering "Sync button"). 
    2) completed a soft, double soft, then hard reset of the device, nothing,
    3) completed a MASTER reset of the device -- still no Sync
    4) restored from back-up ... but still, neither the DM 5.0 and DM 4.7have the SYNC option on the main page.
    What am I missing?  Help appreciated!

    After installing the CLI manager on Solaris 10 for x86 platforms, I was able to connect the server to the StorEdge array. However, I cannot see the 6 physical disks that are in the array. The LEDs on the physical disks are green, but there is just no communication between them and the CLI manager. Could this be a bad controller card? What else could it be?
