Java silent/quiet/unattended doesnt work

hallo everybody,
it tried several time to install jdk 6 unattended/silent/quiet but it doesnt work.
java program:
jdk-6u7-windows-i586-p.exe
unattended code:
jdk-6u7-windows-i586-p.exe /s IEXPLORER=1 MOZILLA=1 ADDLOCAL=ALL REBOOT=Suppress JAVAUPDATE=0 JU=0 AUTOUPDATECHECK=0
when i start after setup javaeditor i always get an exception stack.
also with other programs.
doing the installation manually all works fine.
could someone help me so that silent setup works also?

I start running a java program and when i switch users the sound doesnt work

When I start running a java program or leave a game running and i switch users the sound doesnt work. I have been searching around the web and nobody seems to have an answer. This just recently started to happen. Please if anyone has any ideas that would be much appreciated and the problem is my computer its almost brand new. And my computer is completely up to date.

Youtube, twitter, facebook doesnt work on my mac (10.4.11). It works on other networks, at the same time, these sites works on other laptops in this network

I checked my mac with other networks, it worked.
I complained to my network provider, but to my surprise, these sites
works on other systems (HP/DEL etc) on my network but
it doesnt open on my Mac pro.
I wonder what the reason could be.

I'm running v10.4.11 on an older Mac laptop with Safari 4.1.3 installed and no problems accessing those sites. Click your Apple menu / Software Update just in case there's an update available.
Check Safari / Preferences - Security. Make sure Java is enabled.
Cookies could also be a culprit. Back to Safari / Preferences - Security. Click: Show Cookies.
Delete the YouTube, Twitter, and FB cookies. Quit then relaunch Safari.
If it's not cookies, try uninstalling then reinstalling the Flash plugin which is required for all three sites.

Java 7 update 17 not working on Mac os x 10.7.5

Hi,
I am trying to get my Java working on my mac os x 10.7.5, but everything is saying that the plug-in is inactive, or java applets just continuously load. My java is enabled and up to date, as is my safari. I have read about all this stuff saying apple disabled java then renabled it without telling anyone. What exactly is going on and how can i get java to work?!?! I have tried fiddling with its settings, uninstalling, reinstalling, downloading chrome, etc etc and nothing seems to have any affect. Is there a way of reverting to some old software in either safari, java, or something to make this work as it used to until it decided to not one magical day?

I am having the same issue, from what i am reading and understanding is apple and there in genius ideas decided to block Java because its apparently a security risk - a joke i know!
see i had my course materail for tafe all working then i decided to do the update that kept popping up since then it doesnt work, i installed java 7 update 17 on my old mac book pro and it works perfectly the only thing that is different between those 2 is safari my imac is running 6.0.3 and my macbook is still on the one before that..
i am still currently working on a way to enable this again unless apple relise that this was a completly stupid idea and come to there sens before i come up with away then ill keep you updated when i get it working
so for those who are reading this and havent updated yet my advise if you need java for online games or course materail or anything really DONT UPDATE

Do you see a red dot on the side of the iPhone?
The iPhone will not ring if the Ring/Silent switch shows a red dot.

Reverted Java 6 plug-in stopped working

My Java 6 plug-in (reverted from Java 7) won't work anymore. I've used the reverted Java 6 plug-in for a couple of months but a couple of days ago it stopped working. I know that Apple blocked Java in Safari but it doesnt work in Firefox either.
I've reinstalled Java 6+Java 7u13 multiple times but still Java 6 won't work. I don't get any messages when trying to run applets, its just blanked, i.e. http://javatester.org/version.html doesn't show any information. Everything works fine with Java 7u13 but i have to use Java 6 because of some applications that runs on a platform that requires Java 6.
Anyone with the same problem?

I found my own solution to this one after many more hours of frustration. I found that there was a toolbar applet installed in Internet Explorer that started its own private JVM, and that JVM was being seen by the plugin code for 1.3.1_07. Apparently there was some conflict between what the plugin code expected and what that private JVM (not sure what version it was, the code had no mention of it) had to offer, which caused the crash dialog. Uninstalling the toolbar (and its parent application) solved the problem. I may do further testing to see if there are any plugin versions that do work with this particular applet.
It is also still a mystery why this problem only cropped up after installing and uninstalling 1.4.x version of the plugin, but I didn't keep close track of the whole sequence so it may have been coincidental.

Jdveloper, Debugging JSP doesnt work

i am using jdeveloper 9.0.4.2.0 , jdk 1.4.2_03
Until yesterday it was possible to set breakpoints in a JSP-Site (let us call it myJSP.jsp). The debugger stopped erverytime at a breakpoint when archiving it.
But now it doesnt work any more, that means, the debugger even doenst jumps into the JSP-Site-Sourcecode, instead it jumps to the stub-file belonging to the JSP-Site ( _myJSP.JAVA).
What have i to do to get the former behavior of the debugger?

And I have tested with this path "//article/item-info/jid/text()", but it doesnt give me anything. But I noticed that when I remove line 1, it does extract the content "YANBE"...
why the path doesnt work when there is that DOCYTYPE element? How should I get around with this please?

The extract of XML you gave is not valid (Line 1: <hr/>) but besides that ... I think your problem is in the DTD.
Somewhere in the DTD it probably 'sneakily' defines a default attribute which in reality is a default-namespace for one of the elements. This means that in your XPath handling, you will have to map a prefix to a namespace-uri (NamespaceContext [1]) and use this newly defined prefix in your XPath expression.

i have the MS-6507 and windowsXP installed. my system : P4 2Ghz, Geforce3 TI200, sound onboard, 512MB DDR .
my problem is that my microfon doesnt work. does anybody know that problem?? i wanted to update my sound devie driver but i couldnt find any driver that works on this site.

Hi,
A couple of things to check - sometimes the obvious gets overlooked
First, check the Audio Mixer to make sure that the Microphone input is not muted, and that the Microphone volume control is turned up.
Second, if you are trying to record from the microphone, there is usually a separate set of controls for recording, accessed via Advanced (or similar) button. Usually, you can only select one source at a time as the Recording input, unless you select "What U Hear" (or similar), which is the same as the output.
Another possibility is that the Microphone you are using needs to get some DC power from the connector, but is not getting it - although this is less likely if you are able to get some (quiet) signal using the Line input.

Javaw just doesnt work

I normally run my java program called 'Client' using a batch file. The batch file contains a command like this:
C:\jdk1.3.0_02\bin\java Client
This runs fine when i double click on the icon but the dos box is shown.
I heard that if I use javaw instead of java the box will not be shown.
But it just doesnt work for me. The dos box is still there waiting for my program to close.
Can anyone help me.

The window you're getting is the one used to run your batch file.
Make a shortcut to javaw.exe, then edit it adding the parameters for the javaw program. -jar -classpath or whatever.

Paint() doesnt work!!!

Hey, I cant get paint() to work in conjunction with a void() that doesn�t use a layout manager. I can get one at a time to work but not both.

Click-to-dial doesnt work with Basic integration

Hi,
I have built a CTI adapter to work with Oracle Basic integration. I can do all the functions through UWQ using this adapter. But the click-to-dial doesnt work. Here is the scenario->
1. Customer Call comes in.
2. Agent gets a screen pop and the relevant service request form is popped.
3. Agent answers the call, talks and then hangs up.
4. Agent clicks on the click-to-dial icon next to the customer number field on the service request form.
5. Nothing happens.
Basically, Oracle is not sending the dial string to my adapter at all. I am expecting Oracle will pass the dial string to the CTI adapter to let it place the outbound call as it does in Direct integration. In Direct integration, the CTI adapter does get the dial string from Oracle when agent clicks on "initiate call". Any idea why this is not the case with Basic? Is it not supported with basic?

actually its a website software, i just bought you can check the demo www.edirectory.com, and it has a light platform "virsune" for mobiles .. i checked it on my iphone and it works pretty good, altho i checked it on samsung "android" it works on chrome and Opera mini only, and what am talking about is the option click phone number to call a member
