I am reading mail from gmail and wants to save attachment.
Javamail breaks when i use either getDisposition or getFileName method when attachment name has a space.
I know its against the spec but it is breaking my code.
Is there any work around this.

I already set [props.setProperty("mail.mime.parameters.strict", "false");
        props.setProperty("mail.mime.encodeeol.strict", "false");
        props.setProperty("mail.mime.decodetext.strict", "false");]
but it still gives this exception.
javax.mail.internet.ParseException: Expected ';', got "Screen"
     at javax.mail.internet.ParameterList.<init>(ParameterList.java:280)
     at javax.mail.internet.ContentDisposition.<init>(ContentDisposition.java:96)
     at javax.mail.internet.MimeBodyPart.getDisposition(MimeBodyPart.java:1063)

Trouble when file name has spaces

In Windows XP's Windows Explorer, when I double click a .pdf file to open it the Adobe Reader comes up and then sometimes puts up a pop-up saying "There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found". I have to click OK several times to get the pop-up to go down.
After some internet investigation I discovered if the file's path name has spaces then Adobe breaks the path into pieces at the spaces and interprets it as several file names. The advice I found on the internet was to have the launching application put double quotes around the file name.
The trouble is, in my case the launching application is Windows XP, and I don't know how to instruct it to add the double quotes.

Gmail access through Mail : Attachment name and extension terminated

When I try to send an attachment through Gmail using Mail, if the attachment names have more than one word with spaces in them, the entire name is terminated to the first few letters before the space and the file extension is lost too; so the recipients end up having incomplete file names without any extension. The files transfer perfectly and once the extensions are put in, they open without a problem. Receiving attachments where the names have spaces etc. is not a problem at my end though.

All updates are installed regularly, so I am indeed at the newest version of all available software. I just haven't updated my signature here.
And the name of the attachment is mangled only when I use the client to send an attachment to any other Gmail account ( both Windows or Mac, accessed either through a client or directly at the receiving end). The same email cc'd to my school address shows the entire file name. And if I send the email through Gmail directly, then it is fine too, as I mentioned.

Bug in the copy cluster roles wizard - CSV reparse points cannot have names with spaces

I have identified a bug in the copy cluster roles wizard in 2012 R2, which is preventing me from migrating my clusters from 2008 R2 & 2012 to 2012 R2.
The bug surfaces when you attempt to copy a VM role from a 2008 R2 or 2012 cluster that has a CSV reparse point name that contains spaces as follows:
The role appears to copy across fine, but once you've migrated the CSV and brought it online followed by starting the VM, the VM configuration resource promptly fails along with the VM.
The issue can be spotted inside the copy cluster roles wizard, where it presents itself by removing all text after the first space in the name to read "C:\ClusterStorage\CSV" rather than "C:\ClusterStorage\CSV
Test Disk 3" as follows:
The bug only appears for VMs on CSVs with a reparse point name containing spaces - all other scenarios succeed.
After searching through the registry on the new cluster, you can clearly see that the VM role hasn't been correctly copied.
It shows a value called SharedVolumeMappings with the data C:\ClusterStorage\CSV|<guid>|<integer>
Whereas it should show the data C:\ClusterStorage\CSV Test Disk 3|<guid>|<integer>
If you modify the data in the SharedVolumeMappings value in both
0.Cluster\Resources\<VM guid> and Cluster\Resources\<VM guid> keys, the VM will start and work correctly.
The problem for me is that I have many VMs on many different CSVs all with spaces in the names of the reparse point! Its not feasible for me to go through the registry for every copied VM on every node of the new cluster, as this would take a very long time
and would be prone to errors that could cause further problems.
Can anyone provide any help on this? A hotfix for the issue would be great, if anyone from Microsoft is reading :-)
My deadline to get the VMs migrated to the new cluster is the 21st February, so I would really like to have a solution to the problem before then if at all possible.

Do you have any idea of timescale? Or is it likely that I will have to modify the registry as above to get this working?
If I am going to have to modify the registry, please can you let me know if the resolution I have tested above is safe and viable? Or are there other settings that I will need to change to make the cluster fully aware of the proper path to the CSVs for its
VMs?
Also, is there a known procedure for renaming the reparse point whilst VMs are running on it? This would allow me to negate the issue before copying the roles to the new cluster :-)

How to get message/rfc822 attachment name by using JavaMail

Hi,
I am fetching incoming mail which has message/rfc822 attachment. i.e: ".msg" (mime message) is attached to this incoming mail. When I try to get name of this message/rfc822 attachment, I am getting null. Body part for this message attachment doesn't contain attachment name? Is this known issue? Is there any solution for this? How to get attached message name?
I am using javax.mail.part.getFileName() for getting bodypart's filename.

This is not unusual. An attached message need not have a filename,
especially if it wasn't stored in a file but rather was just attached to the
new message from within the mailer that composed the new message.
Some mailers will set a filename anyway, but there's no requirement
that they do that.

If you remove the names then you may have a problem with organizing or searching for bookmarks.<br />
If you do not want to use the extension then you can achieve the same effect with code in userChrome.css<br />

I just got the solution (that worked for me, anyway) from a Sony support rep. No PC or VMWare needed.
OK, you've installed Sony eBook Library v3, and Adobe Digital editions, you've set up your acocunts and authorized your computer on both of them, and you've authorized your Reader with the Sony Library application.
You go to the public library ebook download page, either through the Sony Library or just through a bookmark.
You check out a book, and open it in Adobe Digital Editions, which still won't recognize your Reader.
BUT, in the Sony Library app, you can now click "File, Import.." and go find the pdf you downloaded with the Adobe app.
On my Mac, it was in ~/Documents/Digital Editions
Import it, and drag it to your Reader.
The first time you do this, it will ask you to authorize the Reader with your Adobe ID.
Worked like a charm.

Use Watch point for this puppose.
Watchpoints allow you the option of monitoring the content of individual variables.
The Debugger stops as soon as the value of the monitored variable arrives.
In addition, conditions can be specified. The Debugger also checks whether such a condition is fulfilled.
Creating a Watchpoint
In the toolbar of the New Debugger, you will find the pushbutton Create Watchpoint . It brings you to the dialog box Create Watchpoint.
Using this function, you can enter the variable to be monitored.
All possible ABAP data structures are allowed here.
