General Description: Javascript error and jump to the portal theme
configuration page
EP: NW04s SP12 including KMC
We have a problem when we entry to the portal, a javascript
error happens and immediately jumps to the portal theme configuration
page. We entry at the portal with a user that have assigned the next groups.

When we entry with this user, the browser show us this javascript error:

And immediately show the portal theme configuration page.
We need that the user see the page assigned, but this error shows him
always the portal theme configuration page. This kind of error happens with
other roles too. We've found a workaround
for this situation, doing click on the first level navigation, the
LR_MX_PAG_Edicion page shows normally.

Publish error - error determining the .Mac publish configuration values

I have been unable to publish a website refresh for the past 2 weeks (not since the first time I tried). When I attempt to publish, it hangs at the "preparing to publish" window and then gives the error message "There was an error determining the .Mac publish configuration values. Please try again in a few minutes." It does not then release this error window to close until it pops open another window telling me how many days I have left on my trial .mac account. It has the correct number of days so I assume that it is communicating with the .mac server at some level. My internet connection is via satellite. This is my only option as I am shipboard. Update: I was able to able to connect via cable recently and, much to my surprise (and frustration), everything posted fine. I have the most recent updates for all software including iWeb running on a MacBook 2GHz, 2GB ram and 28GB free harddisk(iWeb 1.1.2 and OS X 10.4.8 build 8L2127 ). My internet connectivity is fine for other applications and for other aspects of iWeb. The primary reason I purchased the MacBook was to use the iWeb and its publishing capability. I note from other threads that this is an established problem with iWeb and satellite internet connections. Has there been any reliable fix established for this problem? The last thread I could find was last summer (and nothing from Apple), seemingly enough time for Apple (or the creative members of AppleNation) to address it. Given the high cost and sporadic reliability of shipboard internet, I'm hoping to use .mac to host site because of the incremental update capability. If there hasn't been a reliable fix determined, can anyone recommend a hosting site/method that does work reliably with iWeb and a satellite internet connection. I'm completely in the dark how this would work. This is my first website experience.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I already sent out the .mac website in my Christmas letter so I'm fairly commited (but could recover, if unworkable)

Now that would be cool...if we could figure out how to tell iWeb to be a little more patient with network latency! From all the reports here, it seems that if anything, iWeb has gotten more stringent in its network latency tolerance over the various little updates.
I personally use .Mac for my iWeb hosting right now... But you are right... if you could find some alternate place to host your iWeb pages, then you can use any FTP program to do the uploading.... and maybe be more successful from the shipboard internet access.

JavaScript Errors in Enterprise Portal side

I am facing a very serious problems with JavaScript Errors in Enterprise Portal related to SALESWORKBENCH application which is developed using PDK,EPCF,JAVASCRIPT and CSS concepts .

salesworkbench might be an old applicaton i guess and Ep 6.0 is not compatible after integrating with SALESWORKBENCH with respect to EPCF ( ENTERPRISE PORTAL CLIENT FRAMEWORK )

Web dynpro Abap not inheriting the Portal theme

My Web Dynpro Abap is not inheriting the Portal theme. My understanding is that for NW2004, EP7, Web Dynpro Abaps would automatically inherit the Portla theme. Is there some coding required or pre-config of some sort that I have missed to allow the Portal theme inheritance?

Error before the installer could configure itunes

I get the message above when I try to install Itunes 10.6.3.25.
Can anyone help me how to solve this. Or I cant get the new version of Itunes :-(

you are one of many my friend, we have all tried everything, uninstalling then reinstalling etc.
Apple seems to have really messed this one up and I can't seem to find a way to fix it either.
One thing i found to work was
1. un-install every apple program: itunes, then quicktime, then apple software update, then apple mobile device support, then bonjour
2. find itunes 8.2 and save the install exe. to your desktop (oldapps.com is good)
3. restart computer
4. Right click the install exe. and select run as administrator.
5. VERY IMPORTANT: On one of the menus at the begining of the install it will have the options to install ( 3 options )these options will already be pre selected you need to de-select the final option which is "automatically upgrade itunes"you must de-select this or it will upgrade to the 9.0 which requires the apple application support.
6. next button and complete install.
the apple application support seems to be causing some of these problems, and 8.2 doesn't include it in the install. I basically got these steps from searching on google and I tried it and it worked for me. Only problem is I can't put music on my Ipod with Itunes because it requires version 9.0 itunes

You need to do the following settings which has been provided in the page 9 and 10.
Also if the property If sap.useWebDynproStylesheet = True 􀃆 Portal uses this theme in a WebDynpro iView. Otherwise it will take the default portal theme for WebDynpro iViews.
For your reference
1. Go to visual administrator and server>services> Configuration Adapter> WebDynpro>sap.com> tcwddispwda> Property Sheet Default.
2.Open it in edit mode.
3.Select the property sap.theme.default and set the following custom value.
4. /irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.urdesigndata/themes/portal/<THEMEID>
5.when we restart the server and deploy our WebDynpro applications the new custom theme will be applied.

Form Authenticating the portal or jsp page

Before accessing a jsp page, I want the user to authenticate using login.jsp using the user role I created in console.
But when I hit the page, its not going to login.jsp. Instead its going directly to it. Please find the web.xml and weblogic.xml that I changed below,

I created the wnuser in myrealm in my console. So I am trying to password protect the wnxInterface.jsp page.

Accessing the online web-configuration page

I own a Linksys-G WRV200 wireless router, and I have tried to access the online configuration page and a page comes up that says
401 Bad Request
cannot use wireless interface to access web.
Now, I do not have the disk that came with the router but I do have the software for my router, downloaded from this website. I have done the process where you go into command prompt and type "ipconfig /release" then "ipconfig /renew", and it did not work, unless I have to restart my PC again after I did this process, which i have not.
Are there any other ways to open this web-configuration? The only reason I want to do this is so I can edit my NAT settings and Port Forward, is there any other way to do this without the online web-page?

To view the router's web pages:
You do not need an Internet connection. The router's "web pages" are built into the router.
Use Internet Explorer, it usually works.
JavaScript must be enabled.
Use a computer that is wired to the router (often, an attempt to connect wirelessly will fail).
In the non-working computer, temporarily turn off your software firewall.
If you are using Zone Alarm, right click on the ZA icon in the system tray (lower right corner of screen) and then click "Shutdown ZoneAlarm", and see if this fixes your problem. If this does not work, try the following with Zone Alarm: Open the ZAISS control center, go to Privacy, then temporarily turn off Ad Blocking and Cookie Control, and see if that fixes your problem.
If you are using Noton Internet Security with the Add-on Pack, be sure to turn off the Pop-up Blocker, and the Ad blocker. Some users have reported that they needed to uninstall the entire Norton Add-on Pack.
If you cannot get anything at 192.168.1.1 then perhaps this is not your router's address. Go to "Start" > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
A black DOS box will appear. Type in "ipconfig" (with no quotes), then hit the Enter key. Look at the "Default Gateway". Is it 192.168.1.1 ? Point your browser to the "Default Gateway", then login to your router.
If the above fails, disconnect your modem from the router, and try again. If this corrects your problem, then most likely you have a "modem-router" rather than an ordinary modem. Report back with this problem, and also state the make and exact model number of your modem (not the Linksys router).
If all of the above fails, power down your entire system, unplug it from the wall, wait one minute, then power up and try again.
If all of the above tips fail, then reset the router to factory defaults: Power down the router and disconnect all wires from it. Wait one minute. Power up the router, allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes), then press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release the button and allow the router to reset and reboot ( 2-3 minutes). Power down router. Wait one minute. Connect one computer, by wire, to a LAN port on the router. Boot up system. It should work.
If the reset does not fix your system, then you need to download and install (or re-install) the latest firmware for your router. After the firmware upgrade, you must reset the router to factory defaults, then setup the router again from scratch. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.

Javascript Error after insert a Webpart into Page

Hi everone, have you ever experienced getting error just after inserting a Webpart into page? I'm using Sharepoint Server 2013. These steps what I did:
1. Create new page
2. Click 'Add Webpart'
3. Choose the webpart and click OK
4. Webpart showed on page (simple table form)
5. All ribbon controls are disable and there is javascript error on browser's console with message:
SCRIPT1004: Expected ';'

That line is not from my codes, it's automatically added by sharepoint after inserting webpart. Thanks for anyone who has workaround for this..

Per my knowledge, such error might occurred when we modify the HTML code of the page, through SharePoint Designer or Content Editor Web Part.
What web part you added into the page?
What if you create another new page and insert a list into it, will the error occurs?

Error in the Portal Logon par

Hi All
i got the error in the logon par customization i have the followed the steps based on the weblog from the following link
Modifying The Logon Par(or customising the Logon Screen)
after done everything i restarted the portal then i got the following error

Hi Sunil,
First of all, put back the original par file and restart the portal. If you have the same problem, it has nothing to do with your changes (unless you changed the authschemes.xml as well).
Download the standard logon par file and compare the structure with your par file. Find the problem (create an iview where you can test your component). If it works, you can try again.

Error starting the SOAMANAGER for Configuration

Hi fellows,
I've created a web service from a RFC. When I tried to start the SOAMANAGER for configuration to create the an endpoint I've got the error bellow:
"Invalid index 1 when setting lead selection; context node: MAIN.1.NODE_SEARCH_TABLE"
I tried to acess the SOAMANAGER transaction to find the service description created. I found it but when I tried to create the endpoint I got the errors:
"Error: Error when reading variant "ZWS_TESTE" of servicedefinition "ZWS_TESTE": An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL oc "
And
"No service/endpoint selected"
Someone knows what am I missing?

Enqueue error in the portal

Hi Friends,
I am getting one error in the manager inbox.
in Manager inbox while executing a workitem (leave/ time sheet) approval the manager is getting "Work Item xxxxxxxxxxx locked by user xxxxxxxx (enqueue error)"
