JAXP(saxon9B.jar) causing sqldeveloper to lose all connection information

While trying to implement Xpath 2 support from the Saxon9B.jar in netbeans, as part of the jaxp mechanism I placed the saxon9B.jar in the jre\lib\ext folder. Afterwards SQLDeveloper continuously emptied my connections.xml. Can't import backups, internal failure in oracles saxparser - wrong jar now in use. Can't create from scratch, nothing. Seems to look for saxon-dom.jar. I removed the Saxon9B.jar and all is once again good.
This is on Windows XP running SQLdeveloper 3.4 with Java 1.6.27

Finally I found the problem which takes me over a week to understand and its SILLY. I am posting here for all of us to never forget this atleast :-)
anyway the above problem as i mentioned earlier is that my newly added JAR files and existing were conflicting somehow.
I just had to add a class path of all of my new four JAR files to force my application to use these jar only not any other
which was missing and my application fails but test application works using ECLIPSE as i did not had anyother files in its 'lib' directory. I edit my script code from BEFORE to After and it all worked. (SILLY SILLY SILLY)

Ok, so, what I had done before I saw your response is follow the prompts to activate "match" on this computer... So when I restarted my computer just now, I see a copy of what is on my iphone, which brings up another question that has had me confused for so long.. Between the cloud and match, shouldnt whatever I have on my computer be automatically put onto my iphone? As this does not happen. I think you have to attach the iphone to the computer in order to update, but whenever I do that, it doesnt do this. So, I dont have anything I did for bascially all of 2013 which is a lot... I never worried too much about it as I listen to most of my music from the computer and from my ipod, and dont worry about the music on my iphone. But I am so confused about how to reconcile all my songs, albums, playlists on all my devices..
Another thing that seems to be the root of all things annoying is regarding my apple id.. When I first chose my user name back in the day, it was simple.. You chose what you wanted.. Recently, when I wanted to try to get into this "cloud" thing, I was asked to choose another apple id that was in the format of an e-mail address. Which has caused so much confusion for me of which I can not figure out.. I have things purchased on both accounts and just wish I could have all my purchases together on all my devices..
I have not tried your suggestion yet, but will, if that is still your suggestion after all this additional information..

When DHCP manual address is entered, I lose all connectivity

I've got the TiBook mentioned at the bottom of this post, and I am currently connected to a Netgear DG834G router over WiFi. It's set on DHCP, but I would like to have a static IP for port forwarding purposes. My current details are:
IP: 192.168.0.6
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Router IP: 192.168.0.1
If I select DHCP with Manual Address, then enter the already aquired address in the IP field (i.e. 192.168.0.6) then press Apply, I lose all connectivity. Am I missing something?

I think the Router thinks 192.168.0.6 is already taken, either make a New Location called All Off...

sudo ipconfig set en1 BOOTP
sudo ipconfig set en1 DHCP.
Then back to Network CP and make some small change so you can Apply again.
Or try a higher number.

It is always a good idea to backup your data prior to ANY update/upgrade.
That being said, 10.6 is designed to upgrade without the loss of data if you are moving from 10.4 or later.

Airport Extreme5th gen will lose all connection weekly

I purchased my 1st airport extreme in oct and I started having issues with the router losing all connection weekly. The only way to get it working again is to do a hard reset. I returned it and had it replaced at the local apple store and I am now having the exact same issue. I got my replacement unit and installed it at 8 pm last weds night and this evening it went out again so i know it must not be the modem but what can it be? Correct.. no files are lost in resets..
Plug the TC straight into the computer by ethernet.. use a LAN port of the TC. <-->
Factory reset.
The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.
Factory reset Gen 5
Hold in reset for about 5sec until the status light flashes quickly.
If your AirPort Time Capsule still doesn’t respond, do a similar reset to the Gen1-4.
Unplug your AirPort Time Capsule .. hold in reset and power the TC back on.. without releasing the reset.. wait until status led flashes rapidly.
When it comes backup the TC will have an IP of 10.0.1.1 and the computer will be 10.0.1.2
You can access all your files on the TC.. with very minimal setup.. but Mavericks can be a right royal pain.
If the disk doesn't show up in Finder.. manually mount it.
Go, Connect to Server..
AFP://10.0.1.1 and when the computer finds the resource it will ask for a password.. type in public unless you changed it.
You should now be able to access the files.
I recommend if you have important stuff on the TC you do not want to lose.. get a USB (or faster) drive today.. plug it into the computer and make a backup.. the TC is not adequate as a NAS or file server as it has no ability to either backup itself or even have TM back it up.

IE7 causes DW8 to forget FTP Connection information

Both the beta versions and final of IE7 cause my Dreamweaver
install to forget the FTP Connection information, and then refuse
to remember any of them again. Uninstalling IE7 remedies the
problem. Anyone else experience this?

What could have caused me to lose all my texts on my iPhone 4?

I've been using my iPhone 4 regularly since I purchased it in October of 2010 & have never had issues with it. I'm the type of person that saves all my texts, so I have basically every text I've ever sent or received from August of 2008 when I purchased my iPhone 3G up to yesterday.
Yesterday I sent a picture to a friend via MMS, and right after sending it, my phone went straight to the silver Apple Logo like I had restarted my phone. It loaded like it does after a restart, but I went to "Messaging" and all my texts were completely gone. Texting is working just fine as a friend sent a text a few minutes later and it showed up, but now that's my only text & all past texts disappeared.
Fortunately I backed up my phone on May 13, so I should be able to do a restore from that backup and only lose my texts from the last 10 days, but it's still a pain and I have no idea what may have caused it. Has anyone else had this issue in the past & is there anything I can do to avoid it? If anything, this'll teach me to backup my phone daily instead of every few weeks.

iPhone 3gs, still running 5.1.1 because I actually rely on the mapping software.
A few days back, it started randomly exiting various apps for no reason. Today, I tried powering off and re-starting, but when it re-started it had erased all contacts.
Last backup was a couple days before, so I won't have lost anything crucial, but this is the first such disaster since bying the phone 3 years ago. I see numerous complaints about this, and no real solution or explanation offered from Apple. I figure it's about time to replace my phone, so this will be a test: either there will be a clear explanation and a solution, or I'll switch to Android.

What are you syncing them WITH? Do NOT say iTunes. iTunes is NOT a contact manager.
If you're syncing them with your computer, your choices are MS Outlook or Windows Address Book on a PC, and Contacts / Address Book on a Mac.
If you are not syncing your contacts with a contact manager or cloud service, you are NOT syncing your contacts.

Saving email with attachment causes me to lose all text

I have encountered an extremely frustrating problem with saving emails on my Q10. When my email contains only text, then I can save it without an issue. However, if I try to save an email with a word document attached, it saves a blank version of my email - the text disappears and so does the attachment. All that remains is the title and to email address of the recipient.
This is extremely inconvenient and needs to be remediated. Any help is greatly appreciated.

How do i de-authorize my ex's computer/iphone/ipods from my account without causing her to lose all of the songs/apps purchased?

I am going through a divorce, and my ex's iphone and the kids' ipods are still associated with my itunes account/billing credit card. i.e.- whenever they make a purchase through the iTunes/AppStore it gets billed to my credit card. How can they (or I) change to a different itunes account without losing all of the apps and music that they've bought under my itunes account?

Change the password and 'gift' new content for the kids whenever you want (assuming the process doesn't require knowledge of the password....).

You can't download Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard is distributed on DVD, not online.
Even so, when you upgrade to Snow Leopard, it keeps your applications, users and personal data intact. You won't lose it.

PB G4 loses all user information

hey guys, i just bought my roommates older PB, and I just reloaded OS X 10.4.11 from the discs. After a couple days f changing preferences and getting the applications in line, the turned it off and turned it back on today to see everything had reverted back to the stock preferences. I lost my safari favs, folders on desktop, and other organized aspects, though it seems the couple downloads I got (Safari 4, security updates, Adium) are still there. Could this be a RAM failure? As Im a resent PC to Mac convert, I dont really know the steps to look into this. I couldnt find the relevant topics on here or random google searches. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

My computer had issues and I dumped it. Now I need to sync my iphone. Am I going to lose all my contacts and ringtones?

I was having computer problems and dumped my computer and started over from scratch. I had to download itunes to this comptuer again. But now when I go to sync my iPhone with my computer, it appears that I'm going to lose all the information on my iPhone. How can I keep this from happening? I'm not real computer literate so need simple terminology and directions. I've been trying to search for the answer to my question and I've found some answers, but I need more precise directions. Such as: one answer says to sync to the windows contacts and make sure there is at least one contact in your windows contacts so it will merge rather than wipe out your phone. I don't know where windows contacts is to be found so don't know how to add a contact in it. What about the ringtones I have? It wants to wipe them out too, but I don't want to purchase a new ringtone to have in the ringtone area (where ever that is). Anyone who can guide me in simple language would be a blessing.
