Journal Detail Report in XL Reporter

Hi
I am trying to get journal details into a xl report. on the SBODemoUS it is working 100% but on any database with segmentised gl-accounts it doesn't return anything. I have even tested with the sample report from SAP "GL Accounts Posting Details.ixr" and i am getting the same results. Any help will be appreciated.

You can go into the Group/Order button and change the Grouping and fields on your report.       I believe in XL Reporter Yahoo Group there is a document on how to do this with Great Plains.     Additionally you can go to the Report Composer and generate your own report which is probably easier.

    Hi,
    Segmented GL Accounts have different field mappings with general type. You have to check the fields in the report to see what changes needed in order to be used to suit your segmented accounts.

  • How to get Detailed Vendor Payable Aging Report?

    Hi, Experts,
    I was trying to find the Detailed Vendor Payable Aging Report. I went to Financials -> Financial Reports -> Accounting -> Aging -> Vendor Liabilities Aging
    I could not find the detailed information: what invoices are still open.
    Thanks!
    Lorrie

    Dear Lorrie,
    When you are in the Vendor Aging Report Window; please click on the Vendor Row for which you want to see the Open Invoices/Documents.
    You can get the Open Documents details through this.

    Hi There,
    I'm having a requirement to track the oracle HRMS Personal details changes in the report not using the triggers.
    ex: if some changes the address of the person, then that changed values should be populated in the report.

    Do you really want to include alphr_nr=12? If so, what do you mean when you say
    I have an approach but there are "unnecessary" rows ( the line with just alpha_nr = 12 ) and why don't you want alpha_nr=13?
    so my join is buggyExactly! The join
    ...    from hist, alpha b
    WHERE b.alpha_nr  = hist.hist_alpha_nr (+) ...means "include all rows from alpha, whether of not they have any corresponding rows in hist or not". If you want to exclude alpha_nrs 12 and 13, you probably want to do an inner join there.
    You don't need any sub-queries to do that:
    SELECT       CASE
               WHEN  GROUPING (h.hist_alpha_nr) = 0
               AND   GROUPING (h.hist_date)     = 1
               THEN  MAX (a.alpha_date)

  • Classification of line items into the Detailed Profit and Loss report

    Hi,
    Given a line item in a profit and loss ledger, what field determines that the line item will appear under Fixed Manufacturing Costs, Sales and Distribution or General Admin Expenses when we generate the Detailed Profit and Loss report?
    Thank you

    Hi all,
    Thank you so much for everyone's quick reply. I really appreciate it.
    Please allow me to clarify my question.
    I have a balance of 3,712,126.60 in my GL 30000000. In my detailed Profit and Loss (ZPL-002), 705,712.90 is shown under Gen. Operating Exp. while 3,006,413.70 is shown under Fixed Manufacturing Costs.
    So, what field does SAP use to allocate those line items between Gen. Operating Exp. and Fixed Manufacturing Costs? Is it Functional Area only?
    Thank you.

  • Replacing detail field in GL report

    Hi All,
    I am still learning SAP B1 and currently I am facing a problem relates to general
    ledger report. is it possible to replace detail field in the report with customer
    name ? I really need it since it wastes time for user to browse BP. TIA
    Rgds,
    Mark

    Hello,
    I am not sure that you could replace it because it is standard SAP B1. I suggest to develop another report but contains same fields / data but the detail column/field consist customer name. There are reporting services, crystal report or maybe XL reporter.
    Rgds,

    i didnt get the clear idea about your answer can you explain it once with example
    why iam asking is when i add a new details section according to you answer maintaining same height of the two details sections and i see the preview the iam getting gap between each record. this is so because one record from details section1 and another empty space from details section2
    like
    Details section A-contains records
    Details section B- no records
    Details section A-contains records
    Details section B-no records

    Hi Qasim,
    Go in Section Expert and select the page footer.  You will find Suppress in right side of the window, go in formula editor and give the follwoing formula :

    In SAP, Agewise Outstanding Report for Vendors report coming with Vendor Master Details  along with Address details in the report S_ALR_87012085 - Vendor Payment History with OI Sorted List  which is not really required. Hence we need to remove all un necessary details. We need only a signle line report for each vendor like below.

    The selection of period option is already available in std SAP. We have to change the output report only. This is rquired for Audit purpose.
    Please help me in the above issue.
    Regards
    Vinu

    Hello,
    The following example I have given is for customers.
    The only difference is in transaction codes. For customer you go to FDI1, for vendor you go to FKI1 (reports).
    For Customer you go to FDI4, for vendor you go to FKI4 for forms.
    Remaining all are the same.
    Hello,
    Go to transaction code FDI4
    Select Form Type RFFRRD20 Line item analysis
    Give your form name and description
    Structure (Two axis) - as defaulted
    Click on Create
    You will have lead column
    Delete the rows 2, 3 and 4
    Double click on column 1
    Enter the customer numbers from 1 to 999999
    First column double click  (A)
    Slelect following values
    Due date analysis 1
    Days for net due date 0 to 30
    Give the short name, medium name and long text for the column.
    Repeat this step in next columns like 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 91 to 120 and 121 to 99999 days etc in other columns and select due date analysis 1. (B,C,D,E)
    Create one more column by way of formula. To create a new column you need to double click on blue line. Put formula add all five columns you have created above. (F = ABCDE)
    You prepare one more column with
    Due date analysis 2 (G)
    Now you prepare one more column add (F+G) = This will be total open items = over due and not due.
    Now go to FDI1 and prepare a report - assign the form created in FDI4 to the report.
    Characteristics you need to select are
    Account Type (Select Account Type as D for customers)
    Currency
    Customer
    Document Type
    Special G/L Ind
    Company Code
    Change the output types and options according to your requirement.
    Refer FDI2 and FDI3 for other standard reports created.
    Refer FDI5 and FDI6 for other standard forms created.
    Save your report and execute.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • SAP B1 Collection Report's crystal report layout printing format

    Hi all,
    We're having an issue in Crystal Report fro SAP Business One - for the Collection (aged-debt) report.
    The report is basically doing the following when previewing it in SAP Business One.
    It prints the header information etc on the first page and then the detailed information filling up the page as expected - it then prints more lines (not filling up the page - maybe 10 lines or so) from the detailed section to the second page (without any headers etc) - then the third page contains headers again with the detailed line data and the fourth then has a couple of lines but without any header data - and so on...
    We've checked the standard page settings - all looks fine.We've checked the section expert - again can't see anything particularly bizarre. It's as though Crystal thinks the page is actually ending someway down the second page!
    Has anyone come across a similar scenario and what would be the solution to this sort of issue?
    Many thanks,
    Mohsen

    Hi Mohsen,
    You may check Selection Expert - Paging tab to see if they have been changed. What is the setting for Report header and Page header?
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Crystal Report Hyperlink to Sub-report or other report

    Hi,
    I would like to create a report on which the first part will show project summary page. The second part will have all project detail pages and third part with all project financial informations.
    The report should work in such a way whenever user clicks on any project at first summary page this has to jump to corresponding detail page of projects.
    I have the following question regarding design of this report.
    1. Do I need to create a saparate report as a sub report and then merge with main report in a footer section? Or is it ok to create sub-report within main report through sub-report wizard option?
    2. How can I establish hyperlink between the pages i.e. summary to detail pages?
    3. back hyperlink to first pages.
    I am expecting more information about hyperlink options within Crystal report.
    Thanks
    -Sunil Prasad

    Hi Sunil
    - For your first question: . Do I need to create a saparate report as a sub report and then merge with main report in a footer section? Or is it ok to create sub-report within main report through sub-report wizard option?
    You can create a separate report and then insert it as a subreport in the main report or create it with sub report wizard.
    Once you click on Insert -> Subreport, you can see there are two options, one is to point to an existing report and another is to create it through wizard.
    - 2. How can I establish hyperlink between the pages i.e. summary to detail pages?
    You can use the hyperlink between report objects.  Also you can apply a customized formula for this.
    Check the below SAP Notes:
    [1. 1207011 - How to create an OpenDocument link in Crystal Reports XI/XIR2 |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes]
    [2. 1212849 - How to pass a parameter value through a hyperlink from one report to another |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes.do]
    For detailed information on Hyperlink Click on Crystal Reports Help Help -> Search for the keyword Hyperlink.
    You can also refer to the Crystal Reports User guide for the respective version that you are using.
    Hope this helps!!

  • CR2008 Not enough memory while exporting reports from Crystal Reports 2008

    I have recently upgraded our Crystal Reports version from Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008 to Crystal Reports 2008. After upgradation I am facing the problem "Memory full.OtherErrorFailed to export the report. Not enough memory for operation" when I am trying to export the report from Crystal Reports 2008 Report viewer, or directly from the code behind. The application is hosted application. The problem occurs in our production environment.

    For exporting the report to PDF
    string Filename = Path.Combine(Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.InternetCache).ToString(), Guid.NewGuid().ToString() + ".pdf");
    Report.ExportToDisk(ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat, Filename);
    Clean Up Code: (Page_UnLoad event)
    if (Report != null)
         Report.Close();
         Report.Dispose();
    Creportviewer.ReportSource = null;
    Creportviewer.Dispose();
    dsReport = null;
    GC.Collect();
    GC.WaitForPendingFinalizers();
    Can someone help me resolve the issue.

    The .rpt file size is 14MB with the Data Save option enabled, 12MB without Data Save.  Presumably the 12MB file size is because of the 24bit PNG we have as our background.
    The Designer executes the report in less than a second and we can scroll through all pages and see the image fields perfectly.
    When we Export to PDF, the Designer takes a long time, eventually gets to the 77%, the 7th record and returns "Export report failed" followed by "Memory full".  If we export only page 1 of the 3 pages, it also returns a Memory full error.  However, when the same report is run with only 1 page, that page exports to PDF but with a ridiculously large size and export time.
    The machine has 2GB of physical memory with an 8GB pagefile with Windows 2003 (latest everything).  The process runs up to about 1GB before reporting the memory full error.
    We've also tried a variety of other suggestions posted in the other thread with no success.
    We're happy to provide the RPT file to the Report Team to diagnose the problem.  Ultimately, we need to be able to produce a 15 page report with approximately 45 images.
    Our preferred scenario is fixing problem 2.  The CR Designer seems quite capable of rendering our report and printing it to our third party PDF printer in a timely manner with small size.  However, the API reports memory full.
    The API resides in a dedicated reporting web service with NO other code except for loading the report, setting parameters and printing.  When executing, it uses up to about 1.1GB before reporting the error.
    Are there any other suggestions for fixing what we have?  Are there known problems with large images in reports?  Do we need to lodge a formal support request?
    Regards,  Grant.

  • GL Account balance report - Date wise report reqd(Eg: 05.03.08 to 20.03.08)

    Dear Friends,
    This is with regard to GL account wise balance/trial balance report based on dates (From...To format).
    We have tried all standard GL reports especially account balances and trial balance reports and all reports are showing period wise reports eventhough we put posting dates in the dynamic selection screen.
    We also checked in SAP Notes and Expert Forum and none of the details are matching with our requirement.
    As we are in production client (in ECC 6.0 version) and doing year end procedure, it would be helpful if you could let me know whether there is any transaction code/report/program available in SAP to meet the
    above requirement.
    Regards,
    Dwarak.

    Hi Dwarak,
    All reports balance report are based on posting period. This information is stored in a total table by posting period. These reports are not looking to the posting documents.
    When you have BW or special ledger you can create a table with day totals
