Jsp include not finding header and footers in EAR

          Background:
          WL 6.0 sp1 (upgrading from WL 5.1)
          EAR file with multiple JAR's and one WAR
          Problem:
          The include tags within the jsp's do not find the pages. All the jsp's work as
          well as links, but includes do not pull up information. In our current setup
          we have includes with the relative path "../includes". This will work in an exploded
          EAR and WAR but not in the contained state (as well as in WL 5.1). For it to
          work in actual WAR and EAR files the relative path would have to be just "includes"???
          Is there something that can be done to remedy this??

I just had a friend install Tomcat for me on my Apache server at school and it's working great with the test .jsp page I created... until I started to use the <jsp:include> tag. Here's my source for "index.jsp":

I'm not sure why, but out of desperation I threw this:
<%@ include file='inc/header.jsp' %>below this:
<jsp:include page="inc/header.jsp" flush="true" />And it's working. Even after I took "<%@ include file='inc/header.jsp' %>" back out of the code. I must have done something wrong initially? I also removed the first "/" from my original:
<jsp:include page="/inc/header.jsp" flush="true" />To make it:
<jsp:include page="inc/header.jsp" flush="true" />But I thought I'd done that before, too. If anyone has any insight as to why it began to work after I added (then removed) the new code... love to hear it, as a new guy.

Can I "count" the number of rows excluding the header and footers

I have some tables that consist of a different number of rows, as the number is part of an equation I need to know the number of rows excluding the header and footers. I have the work around in =ROWS(ColumnG)-3, but is there a tidier way? I want to be able to add footers (or headers) too and not have these counted.

Hi Lee,
Add a column to your table (for purposes of this discussion, the new column is placed before column C, and becomes the new column C). enter the formula below in all regular cells, but NOT in header or footer cells:
=1
Use the formula below, placed anywhere (except in a regular cell in column C) to get the number of non-header, non-footer cells:
=COUNT($C)
The first formula will automatically be placed in cells added to column C, and the results will change to reflect the added rows.

Hi,
there seems to be something wrong with your network configuration (either on server, or in the vm configuration).
Pls. also next time update what version you are using. Based on the path to the repository I believe it is 3.0.X
Easiest will probably be to simply use the manager and edit the network setting of the VM (network device/bridge) there.
If error continues to exists, please post your network setup of the server (ifcfongi -a and brctl show) and post the vm.cfg

A lot changed between DWCS6 and DWCS6 Cloud. You need to make sure you are using tutorials/resources built for Version 12.0x.

EDIT: Development of the perpetual license version of DWCS6 has stopped. There is no way to add that into the version of the program you have. To get those options, you would need a Cloud Subscription where you can get DWCS6 Cloud, DWCC and DWCC2014.x (all three can be installed at the same time, they just won't run at the same time).

Jsp:include not working - Please Help.

I am trying to do a jsp:include page but I must have the syntax wrong for the declaration of the filename. There shouldn't be a problem with my included file since it only has the word "TEST" in it. Both files are in the same directory. The error I'm getting is a 404 error.

If you look at the code, you'll see that I am doing two includes, one using the directive and one using jsp:include. The directive one comes up fine but not the jsp:include. Thanks for any help. Here's my code:

Yeah I know, I tried that. I did notice that the directive include doesn't accept the path the same way. If I put in the full path /test/navigationTest1.html the compile would tell me couldn't read file, but the path of the file it was trying to read was /test/test/navigationTest1.html. I took the /test out and just left the / and could not read the file in the root dir, of course, because it's in the test dir. So now I have the full path /test/navigationTest1.html in the jsp:include and no path in the directive include and same results.

Xcode not finding header files

Xcode can be incredibly frustrating. I have a C++ project and created a command tool target in it. In editing the target the only things I changed were:
Added a directory to the header search path
Added a directory to the library search path
Problem is when I build, the header search path that I added is not included, so the compile does not find the header files it needs. To make matters more puzzling, the same project has another almost identical target that does not have this problem. Is there any voodoo to perform that will get xcode to use the search paths specified in the target dialogue?
I could revert to using a makefile but then what good is the fancy xcode IDE?

I did import the library but at this stage, it is not the problem. I cannot get past the compile stage because it does not include the header search path I specified. I tried adding it to the header search path. When that didn't work, I tried putting it in the user search path, with always search user paths checked, then when that didn't work, unchecked.
Something might be corrupted with the project (although there are no other symptoms - just guessing). It cannot be the target because I have tried (many times) deleting the target and creating a new one. Same bad result.

Print a JTable with several Header and Footers

my name is Lothar and I come from Germany. My english is not very well, but I hope you understand me an my problem.
I want to print a JTable, but I want to print a header with several headers and footers.
For example:

But, I do not know how I can do that. Can anybody tell me, how I can solve my problem. Please, explain for a newbie because I have learned Java since two months ;)

I am trying to make my resume and I have headers and footers that are extremely large and I can not figure out how to get rid of them. Any help would be great!

Define the values [header] and [footer] to zero then uncheck the associated checkboxes.

My computer says firefix is running....I can not find it and when I click on the icon it will not open. What can I do?

I can not get firefox to open when I click the icon. A box appears and tells me firefix is running but I can not find it anywhere. I have tried to delete it and everything else I can think of and it will not open. Please tell me what I can do.

I used to have this problem on my old XP computer, too. The easiest way to fix it is to restart your computer. Use Shutdown and restart. This will stop the firefox process that is hanging and won't show up on your screen.
If you are somewhat computer literate, you can look at all your running processes by pressing Ctrl Shift Esc all at once using the three finger salute. Look at the list of processes to find firefox, highlight it, and select end process. Then go back and click on your shortcut to your firefox to regain control and display it on your screen.
Be sure to upgrade to the latest version of firefox, Version 5. It works much better than previous versions.

Could not find .java and .class files...

I am working on Windows Vista operating system.
I am able to access the .java which I created and also .class files from the command prompt.
But I am not able to find those files in the bin folder in Windows Explorer.
I want to delete some .java and .class files. When I use the delete command on the command prompt , I am getting ---- could not find the file.
Can anyone help me...

I found the answer!
If the command prompt application is run as administrator(since it is windows vista), the created .java files as well as .class files will be stored and can be seen in the bin folder.
However, I could not locate the .java files (and also corresponding .class files) which I created previously.

Could not find Order and Quote objects in Record Type Access window

Hi All,
We are using the CRM OD (not sure about the version).
I am trying to enable the Order or Quote Object in CRM On Demand.
But I cannot find Order and Quote records in "Record Type Access window". Do I need to enable it form any where else first ?

I am implementing the "Lead to Order Integration Pack for Oracle CRM On Demand and Oracle E-Business Suite 2.5".
As part of it I am trying to enable the Order or Quote objects from the section "Enabling the Order or Quote Object in CRM On Demand" of the document: Part No. E15784-01.
I see the following steps in that section:
To enable the Order or Quote objects in CRM On Demand:
1. Sign in to the CRM On Demand system.
2. On the welcome page, click the Admin link.
3. On the Admin Homepage, navigate to Role Management & Access Profiles, and then Role Management.
4. In the Role Management wizard, perform the following steps:
a. Select the role name for which you want to enable the Quote or Order objects.
b. In Step 2, Record Type Access, select the Can Access, Can Read, and Can Create check boxes for the Order or Quote objects.
c. In Step 5, Tab Access & Order, move the Order or Quote items from the Not Available to the Selected Tab section.
d. Click Finish.
5. Click Admin, User Management and Access Controls, Access Profiles.
6. In the Access Profiles wizard, perform the following steps:
a. Click Edit Link beside the role name for which you want to enable the Quote or Order objects.
b. For Step 2, Specify Access Levels, change the value of the Default Access field for the Order or Quote objects from No Access to Read/Edit for Sales Users. Set to Read/Edit/Delete for the appropriate administrative users.
7. Click Finish.
