JTree not showing plus/minus signs

Hi,
I'm having a strange problem with JTree when implementing my own DefaultTreeCellRenderer: the renderer is shown correctly, but the plus and minus signs are gone!
My getTreeCellRendererComponent implementation actually creates a new JPanel and returns it instead of the default one. Can that be the problem? How can I make these plus/minus signs come back?

I have seen something a little different on my CustomCellRenderer where the plus minus sign is replaced with some default arrow icon and where it comes from I have no clue. I basically have a 3 level deep tree and its at the B level where this icon appears.

For the life of me I can't figure this one out. I have tried all ideas like set all the renderer icons or the LAF properties icons and still this blue arrow appears. Any ideas would help on both mine and the original poster.

  • Incorrect plus/minus sign in MB51

    Hi All,
    In MB51 report we are getting an incorrect minus sign in the display. When I run the report for mvt type 102 the quantities are displayed in RED color but the minus sign after it is missing. The sustem is considering it as plus.
    What could be the problem?

    if you cant find any that fits to your system, then open an incident at SAP yourself

  • Show a minus sign as an output instead of the parentheses

    When I save a minus value, the output comes as (500.00). I
    think the parentheses are default for the minus value in cf. How
    can I display –500.00 instead of (500.00)? I looked at the
    numberformat function, but could not find the mask for it.

    I think that can be one of the solutions.
    However,
    the first time when I insert a minus value, it goes through
    w/o any problems, but when I update the minus value, i got an error
    message. so before I use ur select stmt, I need to have a
    conditional stmt to find a parenthesis to check if the value that I
    pass to the database is negative or positive. It would be nice if i
    can find any cf function to display a minus sign instead of a
    parentheses, "( )" for any minus values.

  • I pad apps such as mail and safari show red minus signs and shake back and forth....why?

    In mail the messages come up, but do not open.  Striking the home button twice produces red minus signs above the mail, safari
    apps. etc and they start shaking.   Clicking he "settings" app twice produces the settings page briefly before returning to the home page.
    Pressing the settings app once does nothing.  Prior to opening up the I Pad with these conditions everything worked okay.   Turned it
    off overnight and upon opening the above conditions are there.  Any thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated.

    Tapping the minus sign will close the app and free up some working memory.

    I would recommend closing all applications in multitasking and power cycling the device.  Test the App Store after processing these steps.

  • JPanel custom tooltips in JTree not showing

    Hi,
    I use a custom TreeCellRenderer in a JTree like
    MyTreeCellRenderer extends JPanel implements TreeCellRenderer
    The panel contains two JLabels, each with a different tooltip. Although I register the tree, the panel and the two labels with the tootipmanager, no tooltips are showing up. Any idea?

    I'll provide my own answer:
    As it currently stands Logic Apps require a "default" response to be defined in the swagger. This is not implemented by default by an API app out of the box, but can be done relatively easily by adding a Swagger OperationFilter.
    That is to say in the
    public void Apply(Operation operation, SchemaRegistry schemaRegistry, ApiDescription apiDescription)
    method of the filter you will need to ensure that the operation.responses dictionary contains an entry keyed with 'default'.
    Microsoft's provided connectors contain a reference to a "Microsoft.Azure.BizTalk.Adapters.SwaggerGenerator.dll" contains a OperationFilter that will do this for you if you don't want to write one yourself.
    Final note: Having spoken to MS about this issue it is currently under review and will hopefully be resolved in a future version of LogicApps so hopefully this will all disapear.

  • While trying to open iBooks in mavericks it is showing "Sign in to download from the iBooks Store" dialog box but not showing where to sign in and it is appearing continuously in infinite loop

    I'm having exactly the issue, but found that itvdoes not happen all the time.
    It seems to be dependent on the network I am logged in.

    Hi: Recently my Firefox browser is signing me out of my yahoo account upon exit. Also, my Yahoo seal is not showing up on sign in. I used Internet explorer and this problem does not happen.
    I have checked my option settings with Firefox and I believe they are correct,

    System is Win7 as shown above.
    Right after opening FF, you can press alt+space, then release and press m. You should now be able to use the arrow keys to move the window around the screen until it's visible.

  • BO 3.1 WEBI Time format variable not showing correctly

    I apologise in advance. I know this topic has been covered many times in previous forums but I have been through each and I am still encountering an issue.
    My requirement is to convert x number of seconds into a HH:MM:SS time format for both positive and negative numbers in WEBI.
    I found a formula on a forum here that suggest using the following code:
    =FormatNumber(Floor([Column_Name]/3600) ;"0") + ":" + FormatNumber(Floor(Mod([Column_Name];3600)/60);"00") + ":" + FormatNumber(Mod(Mod([Column_Name] ;3600) ;60) ;"00")
    I have used this code and when I give the code an input of -720 seconds it outputs in the format -1:-12:00.
    It is quite frustrating I cannot get this to the correct format, can anyone suggest what is wrong with this formula?
    I am using WEBI for creating the formula on BO 3.1.

    This is your formula.
    =FormatNumber(Floor([Column_Name]/3600) ;"0") + ":" + FormatNumber(Floor(Mod([Column_Name];3600)/60);"00") + ":" + FormatNumber(Mod(Mod([Column_Name] ;3600) ;60) ;"00")
    Issue with this formula is only when you have used negative seconds.I have break the formula =FormatNumber(Floor([Column_Name]/3600) ;"0")  and found this is giving the wrong result.If you divide -720/3600 you will get 0.2 and nearest integer is 0 but in this case 1 is coming.
    Same time it is working properly with 720 and  the result  will be 0.
    In this case i have  created one variable  which  convert the negative values to positive.If you enter -720 then it will convert 720 and you will get the 0 from first part.
    =If([Column_Name]<0) Then ([Column_Name]*-1) Else [Column_Name]
    Second part is if you entered the negative values then output should be in the negative.but with above condition you will get the positive values.
    Again i have created the formula If([Column_Name]<>[Column]) Then "- which compare the object values and see if I have changed anything.
    Like i have entered -720 so first variable will convert to 720 then in next formula it will check -720 is not equal to 720 (Which is not) then add - (minus sign) and same calculation else part if is equal then use the same formula which you have put.

  • External drives not showing on desktop

    I have a situation where my external drives are not showing up on my desktop and need additional help on figuring out the problem.
    So far I have read the suggestions to Repair permissions in Disk Utility. However, the drives that aren't showing on the desktop are not showing in Disk Utility either.
    I tried downloading the 10.4.4 Combo Update but upon trying to install it, I am being told that neither my system drive nor my 2nd, internal drive will accept it (red explaination points on both drive icons).
    I tried unplugging all firewire and USB devices and then unplugging AC power. Left computer shut down for 4 hours. No fix.
    Tried zapping P-Ram. No fix.
    Tried my external drives on a G4 computer at work (running OS 10.3). Worked fine.
    Swapped out fire wire cables. Nothing.
    Ran Tech Tool pro. Tests confirm that fire wire drivers are working properly. Passed. I know that this test only checks for drivers and not whether the info is being passed through the connectors.
    The only thing I didn't try was replacing the battery. However, my clock and all other battery dependent items are working just fine and not showing any spuratic signs of malfunction.
    The two external drives I am using are a Western Digital and a one Touch Maxtor. The Maxtors, (so I've read on this thread) have been known to show some signs of inconsistent behavior. However, I've had no issues with it up to this point and I've had it for over two years.
    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks to all of you who have already posted some possible fixes. I appreciate it greatly.

    Thanks. Are you talking about booting from my external drives?
    Yeah, I haven't actually booted from any of my external drives as they do not have any system software on them to boot from.
    If you have a good backup procedure, I'd love to hear it as I'm always documenting and using new ways to backup my info.
    From here, I plan on going in and running Tech Tool on my two external drives, (now that the computer is regognizing them) to see what I can find out. My guess is that my firewire ports or drivers on the G5 may have gotten a little mixed up when last Thursdays lightning strike cut the power to the neighborhood. However, I do have a battery backup/ surge protection system that's been in place for about a year. It's been working great so the lightning strike may not be the problem. It was a pretty harsh one, though. After looking over the backup system, nothing looks fried or damaged in any way. Still working fine.
    As far as not relying on just one drive, I'm heading into town and picking up a third drive that will back up what's on my existing two externals. This will then be kept safely stored away. By the way, what does IMHO mean? I'm a little rusty on my computer accronyms.
