Jumping to Table End

Hi !
I have a little problem with the table control in CVI.
I have a Panel with a Table that i'm updating it in my test program , the table can show 16 rows at the time while i'm having more then 100 different tests .
While the test executes i'm seeing the first 16 tests while i want to see last 16 tests , i want the scroll bar to jump to end all the time .
do you have any idea how to do that ? is there an option to that ?

You can use

SetActiveTableCell (panelHandle, PANEL_TABLE, MakePoint (1, rows));

IPod Touch skips (jumps to the end of) the first track. Bug?

Hello,
I'm experiencing the following problem with my iPod Touch and was unable to find any information about similar cases in different forums:
I have several Audible.de audiobooks on my iPod that are by default listed under "audiobooks". Recently I noticed that sometimes my Touch would jump over the first track of a music album when I would start playing the first song, directly jumping to the end of the track and starting to play the second (while the status dot stays at the end of track 1 for a while). It looks as if I had fast forwarded to the very end of the first track - and it happens with the first track only.
I've removed all the music and books from my Touch and moved it back using iTunes, but this didn't help for long. If I completely turn off the Touch and turn it back on, the problem is solved for a moment. I kept asking myself why the problem would reoccur and it seems to me that it has to do with the audiobooks I'm listening to often. I tried the following:
1. Switched off and on. Listened to music without any title jumping problem.
2. Opened an audiobook and listened to it for a few seconds.
3. Went back to music (any album) - the Touch jumps over the first track.
This leads me to believe that listening to audiobooks (maybe just audible audiobooks) creates this problem.
I also found out that after starting to play the first track (which gets immediately jumped over or, more exactly, to its very end), I can "heal" the Touch (until I listen to an audiobook again) by pressing Pause, then the back arrow twice so that I jump to the beginning of the first track, then back to the album cover and track list. After that, I can listen to music as long as I want to without any skipping or jumping, as long as I don't play an audiobook.
To me, this sounds like a bug, but I can't tell if Audible or Apple is to blame. Besides, I don't see an easy way to contact Apple about a bug that might be related to their OS, which I find upsetting (they hide their contact adresses so well that you can't tell them about bugs in their own software, or you have to pay for expensive calls?).
Maybe someone knows what to do or has already heard about a similar problem. I try to circumvent a complete reset of my iPod, as I have lots of apps that are arranged into many different groups. I'd prefer not to sort all of them again, but if resetting the iPod seems to be the only possible solution, I would try that of course. Of course I'd appreciate if someone could tell me how to fix this or whom to contact about it.

Thanks for your comment! Have you tried everything to resolve it, like resetting the iPod as a new device after deleting the IPSW from your computer first? Does the error still occur?
In fact, I cannot reproduce the problem using podcasts (they work fine for me, as far as I can tell there's no effect between podcast and music on my device), but it may very well be that the error is the same or a similar one (this would be for Apple to investigate, I'll forward parts of your comment to the Apple Advisor taking care of my case, if you agree).
Yes, it is the first track. Although I had one rare occasion where only track 2 was skipped and another one where tracks it happened to tracks 1 and 2 (no shuffle, no remember position activated), the highly reproducible issue touches track # 1 only.
Thanks for precising that you're using a BT headset. Could you please tell me which one, in case that matters? Has your iPod sometimes reacted weirdly when you used your BT headset to remote control the iPod, for instance skipping more titles than you wanted when you pressed "forward"? This is kind of what happened to me on my iPad and since then I've noticed the error appear on the iPad too.
Regarding your other issues, I cannot confirm the podcast problem where a podcast starts at some random point. Podcast seem to work fine in my case, but maybe all of this is caused by one and the same error. Let's hope Apple will find it all and fix it in an update asap.
Also, I don't have the artwork problem where an album displays artwork from a different album. I have had a case where a few tracks of one specific album (and just that one) were not displaying the artwork at all, although everything was properly tagged using the software MP3Tag. If you haven't reset your iPod (as a new device, not from the backup), maybe this would at least resolve some of your problems?
While my problem is just annoying for people like me who simply want their new device to work without any errors (even if there's an easy temporary fix or workaround to these errors so that I could live with it), your errors sum up to a nuisance that makes it hard to enjoy using the device. Having wrong artwork displayed with albums (or none at all) and podcasts being played at random positions is certainly not what you'd expect from such an expensive device.
Have you thought of contacting Apple about it? Not only might they have a solution for your specific problems, but it might also be more convincing if more people would independently report the first-track-skipping-issue we're all experiencing! What they need to know is that the bug is global, not just a corner case, and that it seems to be somehow related to their iOS. They couldn't afford ignoring it if several people would complain about this, especially now that a new iOS beta is already out!
Maybe some other users who read this thread have made similar experiences without paying attention to it? To all other forum users: would you please try if you notice anything weird like first tracks being skipped, either music or podcast? Maybe related to audiobook listening, maybe related to BT headset use? I'd be happy to forward any observation to Apple (to the existing issue case number) in order to better convince Apple to investigate this - asap.

Other than hitting space to go down to the next line, I don't think there is a shortcut.

Playhead randomly JUMPS to the end of the timeline when "editing" during playback

CS 6.0.1
OSX 10.7.4
I love the new feature in CS6 that lets you edit DURING playback, and playback won't stop. Brilliant.
Now, I use this feature a lot making cuts as I go. I use the "command + shift + k" combo to make an edit to all tracks while the playhead is moving along. It seems though that every so often when I do this, the playhead warps to the end of the timeline. Very frustrating, and when dealing with long timelines,really slows me down, to get back to where I was working.
Also I can repeat this "glitch" very easily, so its not some totally random occurance. Just pushing cmd+shift+k while the playhead is moving a few times repeats it very quickly.
Am I doing something wrong here? Or toggling some OTHER key command inadvertently? Or is this a legit glitch?
EDIT: I would like to add that using the "nudge" command during playback has the same glitch of arbitrarily jumping to the end of the timeline if you click the nudge command quickly in succession.

This issue was NOT resolved by manually installing all cs6 updates that were failing with adobe product manager, then doing a clean installation of the latest drivers from Nvidia's website using the ODE (Optimal Drivers for Enterprise) Graphics Drivers.
The issue came back after editing for a little bit., however this following fix worked:
*FIXED BY ADOBE TECH SUPPORT INDIA*
The solution was to delete all media cache files and all cache settings for the specific project. Check all your cache locations and encoded media file locations.
Rebuild project on load.... edit. Thanks.

How to Start a color in the middle of a cell in the table & end in next cel

I am developing a project in VB6 and the databse in MsAccess, i prepared the Report in HTML, Based on 2 Fields called Nextti & Duration Field I am coloring the Background of cells in the report table.
Actually the Color should start and end insdie or outside the cell based on the 2 Field Values.
Table is populated for 4 Years under that 48 months, therefor 2 row headings. 1 for showing Years in column & other for Months & with Some fields.
the below is the line i use to change the background of a particular cell. Its done when i populate the data in the HTML Report.

Now i am able to shade the Cell by giving its background color to yellow as below code
but the problem is i am able to change the background of the full cell. But i don't need to change the background of the full cell always. For example if Nextti value is 15/1/2005 & Duration is 30 then the shade should start from the middle of January Cell (because of the date 15th)end in the middle of next cell (February). If the duration is 15 then it should end in the (January) same end of cell. Kindly tell me how can i do this through HTML. I heard Div can be used to solve this issue. I am a beginner so kindly any one give me a appropriate example which will suit to solve this issue.

I.e If you make up a Test table, with Your Text editor can you get a sample output that looks like you want?

If your question is 'amenable' to HTML, figure out conditions for which you want to Set a certain color....
If the color in one cell for instance depends on the Next Cell, then you're going to have to buffer the whole Table ROW....
Set which ones should be RED for instance, then output that ROW in HTML...
If you are using Java for this, then also be aware that you might need to escape certain characters like use "\\" to get "\"
You'd also probaly have an easier time, however you are doing this if you used some sort of CSS .......

Adding pages, and "jump to" at end of clip play

I have 2 questions here:
1) When a movie with dozens of clips/markers is sent from iMovie to iDVD, there are multiple "pages", with arrows going backward & forward at the bottom of the current page. How do I add the "Forward" arrow to the next page manually? I've tried using submenu's, but it doesn't work quite the same way.
2) As above, when sending a movie from iMovie (at least in "Magic Movie" mode) when one clip ends, the next clip plays automatically. How do I do that when manually adding clips to iDVD?

Aroows up and down, Page Up & Page Down buttons either don't work or makes the page jump to the end

For some reason, the arrow keys (up & down) do not make the websites go up and down. Also, the page up and page down buttons either do nothing or make the sites jump to the bottom.

In Firefox 3.6 and later versions you can disable the F7 shortcut that toggles caret browsing by setting the pref accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled to false.
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

End line of table in XML Publsiher Report in EBS

We report the invoice lines in a table with the row separator (horizontal) lines hidden. When there are more number of lines and this table goes for next page, then bottom line of table border doesn’t appear in the current page. It appears only once in the page where the table ends. We need this in each page. Any help?

The solution is to add <?table-footer:?> at the end of the table.

Pictures Order: Version & Stacks jumps to end when worked on?

Has anyone experienced pictures jumping around when they are worked on in the Standard Layout Mode?
More specifically when I create a new stack or a new version of a master file I am editing, it systematically jumps to the end of the whole project or album!
Pretty anoying to have to scoll all the way down to see it, then drag it all the way up to bring it back up in the order I am working with and with the other pictures I am comparing it to!...
Is this a bug? Or a feature I do not know how to use or turn off???
Is there a way to stop or modify it if it is? Can anyone help? It is not very efficient and terribly anoying...
I'm surprised I did not find anybody complaining about it in a my search.

I am amazed that only 2 people answered, though!... does that mean I am the only one experiencing this weird behavior???... Are you saying that it doesn't happen to you?
If so, How can I troubleshoot with Apple then? Do they have a Tech Support (email or phone) to answer direct questions?
I have Apple Care for my G5 but have not tried to call yet and suspect they won't cover (or even know anything !... ) about Aperture!... It takes so much time to get someone competent anyway... if ever!... and I've gone through so much already with my only-one-year-old defective G5 which they just end up having to replace ... I'm kinda burned out!...
Anyway... I've tried both of your suggestions, kgelner.
But neither helped.
Basically, any kind of change during editing, in any layout mode, that create a new Version of a Master file, kicks both Master and Version thumbnails to the end of the collection/album/project! Nothing else changes. Only those 2 thumbnails jump to the end, the new Version stays in the viewing window. Until I try to modify another image, that is!... And of course I am already in the "Custom" order since I am editing and rearranging everything.
Actually... it is not exactly to the end...but somewhere towards the end, (apparently?) randomly among the other previously edited, modified or stacked pictures.
OK... I tried another thing... and the plot thickens!...
The jumping does NOT occur if the image has already been made part of a stack and I have already dragged the stack back up in its original position!
Any more clue?...

Cursor jumping to end of clip in FCP log and transfer

I'm using AVCHD footage from a Sony hxr-nx5u camera. I copied the clips to a hard drive and am now using log and transfer to get the clips into FCP. My problem is that on some of the longer clips (pieces over about 10 min) the cursor start to jump or snap to the end.
Example, through the first part of the clip I can drag the viewing cursor back and forth along the clip's timeline. When I let go, it stays there. If I do the same thing in the second half or later of the clip, when I let go the cursor jumps to the end of the entire clip every time. I can't log or mark in and out points for the second half of the clip unless I just let it play though. (If I do let it play through, I still can't go back and adjust it)
I'm using Final Cut 7 and think it's fully updated.
Very frustrating to say the least. Can anyone provide any help on this?

No first hand experience at this, but my understanding is there is currently a problem importing clips from that camera that are over 10-15 minutes.

Address bar "autofill" jumps to end

I asked this question before and no one seems to have noticed it, so I'm going to try again, (if an admin could delete my other post i'd appreciate it)...
anyways, onto my problem...
When I'm typing in the address bar, if I hesitate for a second, it jumps to the end of the line unhighlighting everything... as an example, I start typing apple.com/... the moment I hit the "/" and hesitate it'll autofill with apple.com/imac (since that may have been the last thing I went to) and unhighlights everything, so if I wanted to go to apple.com/macmini/features (or whatever) I have to back up to the first "/" and start typing from there.... Quite goofy and time consuming... If anyone has any tips I'd appreciate! Thanks everybody.

well, Safari-Reset Safari will remove all of your autofill entries ( except for bookmarks ) so should ease the problem for a while ( it also deletes all cookies, empties the cache & removes google search entries).
I'm assuming your original post above is exactly right? esp the unhighlighting & jumping to the end of the line? ( I know, I know, that's what you wrote - but just wanted to be certain....)
That seems just like the response you'd expect if you touched a right arrow key ( on a normal kbd) So.... are they're any special trackpad/mouse/input settings or software you use on the normal account, that wouldn't have been active on the test account?
A list of what you've done so far ( eg the safari plist..... ) could be handy - we've already got stubby index fingers.

Viber: Editing text is hard to impossible - cursor jumps always to the end

Hi all,
everytime I want to edit text I'm entering into the message box, I'm not able to do it, since the cursor always jumps to the end of the text.
This makes it impossible to mark & copy some or all text, as well as rephrasing or correcting typos.
The only 'workaround' I found is to keep the finger on the target position (and having the looking glass active) and then type one character (or delete on).
I'm a little bit curious since my friend and me are experiencing that issue for a long time now though I found no reference on the net for it yet (except one to a wordpress app).
It happens on a 3GS as well as on a 4, at least all 6.* versions of iOS, with the previous (2.3.1) as well as with the current Viber version (3.0.0).
Also experienced on iPad (3rd gen, cellular edition) with 6.1.3 / 3.0.0
Any hints or tipps are very welcome!

DVD Studio Pro end jump

Hi I'm having a problem doing a custom build for a DVD
I want to create a fairly simple dvd with a play all function that links to a track with multiple chapters.
I also want a second menu that allows you to choose to watch an individual chapter without playing all the following chapters in the track.
I have tried setting up end jump functions on individual chapters or tracks but the end jump works on the play all option. So for example if at the end of chapter one I have an end jump back to menu 2 if I then map the play all option to the whole track the end jump at the end of chapter 1 still takes you back to menu 2. I can't seem to make the end jump work on one and not the other, short of having two sets of tracks in the project... but this is not possible as there is just over an hour of footage, so if I have a duplicate of the track the quality and operation of the disk is compromised.
Any help please.... Super urgent!

Play All story will have all the markers, just section 1 will have section 1 marker (whatever you name it) and so on. At the bottom of that link if you look there will be a creen with targets listed and how to set them...

Cursor jumps to end of text when editing item

I am using a Javascript function, toUpperCase() to convert data input in a text field. However, when users would like to change a piece of the data string in the text, the cursor changes one character only before jumping to the end of the text and continuing. This feature causes aggravation to users. How can I keep the cursor in the correct place within the string and still use toUpperCase without the cursor jumping to the end of the string?

the best way to test is to remove OnKeyUp="this.value=this.value.toUpperCase();" and then check whether you still have the problem
strange that the problem is there even when you replace OnKeyUp with onChange because the function should not be executed until the change is complete. also replace OnKeyUp with onBlur

Pages jumps to beginning of document... and rant...

Pages keeps jumping to the beginning of the document whenever I try to edit text in a table. And my tables keep moving around whenever I try to click on a cell. And since saving is automatic, if I forget to hit undo, the table ends up halfway off the document.
I'm finding iWork for iPad almost unusably buggy and counterintuitive. Where does the Pages formatting bar go in landscape mode? It wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that there's no keyboard shortcut to underline or use italics, so you have to physically rotate the device to get the button to underline titles (after painstakingly selecting the title with the little bars and dots). And keynote NEEDS "start on click" for movies. Is that so difficult? Presenter notes would also be swell, especially since the iPad is already displaying something different than the projector.
Perhaps worst of all, I can't find any kind of "feature request" email link to rant directly at Apple about these (relatively minor) issues. Instead Apple forces users to talk to each other in this forum, where instead of giving feedback to make these products usable we end up debating ad nauseum whether or not the iPad is crap. Or have I missed something?

I have similar problems. When using Pages in iCloud, the document keeps drifting back to the top or beginning of the document. I'm wondering, this can't be an intentional attribute, can it? I looked around for some sort of "anti-drift" or lock setting to stop the drfting, but could not find anything. Pages for iCloud will never catch up with Google docs or Word in OneDrive (formerly Skydrive) for stability and functionality. I will remind myself never to come back to iCloud Pages again. Its a waste of time and an exercise in frustration!
