Just to be sure on recording/viewing/burning quality

ok, i've sort of asked this questions before, and i've studied the forums as well, but this weekend i have to film some 'more important than usual' stuff, so i want to use the best settings on my camera possible. i will only be using my camera, imovie9, and possibly idvd.my main tv is 720p. which one of the below settings would work best? thanks as always for any help.

No, it is not strictly necessary to partition it. You can freely use whatever volume Time Machine is using. And, there's no critical reason not to do so.
Mostly, the recommendation to keep the Time Machine volume "sacrosanct" is for more strict file organization (backup on one volume, other things somewhere else). There's also somewhat more data security in a scheme that keeps things separate.

I have used 89 insp type for manual lot and in results recording i want the tab that unit to be inspected . In develpement it is coming .but in prod sever it is appearing and in production also for some insp types it is coming why .

The user parameter 'QERSMAL' must be initialized to be able to use obsolete recording views. You cannot delete the user parameter from the user master.

IC Webclient -- "Reason" field non-editable in "Interaction Record" view

Dear All,
I am working on CRM 5.0, IC Webclient. I have created a business transaction profile, and attached "Business Activity (0010)" as the transaction type.
Now in the CIC screen, after clicking the "Interaction Record" hyperlink in the navigation bar, the "Interaction Record" view has the fields "Reason" and "Result" greyed out. However, in SAP GUI, the "Reason" field is editable and also has values in the drop down.
Please guide.
Your help would be greatly appreciated and rewarded.

SAP RM: How can I update the open record view container

Hi,
I add a custom method to import a document in to the record tree. Every thing works fine, but only the open record view is not updated. So I stll see the model node and not the instance node.
I think I forgot a action after I replace the node with the instance. But I don't found a method for this.
When I close the record and open it again. The view of the tree is correct.

ViewContainer is used to hold the views which have to share the same
screen area..
That is, If you more than two vies and want to show one view to be visible
for an operation you will use this ViewContainer.
You can specify a view to be displayed, bu using Plugs.

Answer: There are lot of changes mainly with respect to SWW_WI* function modules when you move from 4.6 to ECC 6.0.
Some of these SWW_WI* doesnt gurantee the correct behavioud and we did face this problem. Please change all your SWW_WI* function modules with SAP_WAPI* equivalents.
I knew SWW_WI* are working fine in some scenario's in ECC but it doesnt gurantee the behaviour always and even if you raise a message to SAP, SAP came back saying from ECC onwards developers should use SAP_WAPI* and SWW_WI* may not be supported !!
Better please replace your SWW_WI* FMs with equivalent SAP_WAPI. We have all equivalents. For SWW_WI_CONTAINER_MODIFY equiavalent is SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER. Check for all SAP_WAPI in SE37 for a list of all SAP_WAPI FMs.

What version of VISA are you using? What version of MAX?. What OS are you using?
You can try using the lastest version, NI-VISA 3.0. The installer also includes the lastest version of MAX (3.0). The installer can be found in the Driver and Updates >> NI-VISA

Depending on which country's store you are in, the previews are supposed to be either 30 or 90 seconds.
The last few days there have been several posts here that they are not getting the full preview. There is certainly no setting to control that, so I suppose the problem is at the store.
My suggestion is to try again in a few days, or to purchase from another online music download retailer.

Single record view: xml in clob view formatted

I'm storing xml data in a clob. When I select 'single record view' I see my xml on a single line. I would like to see it formatted for easy reading. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Don't think so, works the same way in the grid; you have to press the Edit icon inside the cell to see proper line breaks.
You can always add this as feature request at the SQL Developer Exchange, so other users can vote to add weight for possible future implementation.

OO4O output cursor just ruturn part of the records

Hi,
I use VB and OO4O to call an oracle stored procedure, but the output ref cursor just return part of the records, for example, I supposed to get 300 records, but it just return first 100 records.
If anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

To use an external decoder connection, your setting in the DVD player software should be to use SPDIF output, and your speaker setting should be 2 speakers. If you use the multichannel analog inputs also common on receivers, you can actually use more than 2 of your soundcard's channels.
But that's just an attempt to give you some raw material for some insight....
The digital outputs should always be acti've unless you're playing high-resolution DVD-Audio. That does tell us there's some sort of capability for forcing the digital
output off. It may be that it is being turned off when it shouldn't be. It's also
possible that something's changing AC3 bits when this shouldn't happen. All this points to some sort of corruption (a poison pill has found it's way into your registry, perhaps), or to some other misbehaving software (likely a driver if so). Did you install any new devices when you did the XP upgrade? If so, try getting updated drivers for those, first.
Then if that seems to have no effect, try removing and reinstalling the CL software, using "cleansweep" procedures for a more thorough reinstall. Otherwise, I'd start seriously considering starting over with a clean OS reinstall.

UCCX Supervisor Record Viewer Error

Hi,
I have an issue after upgraded the UCCX 4.X to 7.0 using the DMT, my customer tried to get the recordings of the calls from the agents, but when run the record viewer in the supervisor client got a message error "Following server is unavailable: IPCCSRV01 (Partial Service) Some Recordings will not available" but I checked the logs and the name of the server IPCCSRV01 is not the actual name of the UCCX server, that is IPCCSRV2010 by mistake my client got me another name of server, altough all the services, teams, scripts, workflows are working normally, the only issue I found are the recordings.
For more information the logs are attached.
I tried to find the register to indicate that the recording server is IPCCSRV2010 and not the other one.

After I opened a SR with TAC I have to upgrade to SR5 in order to fix a lot of problems that the TAC said it fixed with the SR. And in fact torough the Cisco Database Administration in the Server I removed the other servername and put as Default the actual servername, I restarted and everything work very well. So the workaround was the upgrade to the last SR, and the learning lesson is after you upgrade for any version of IPCC to the version 7.x you must upgrade to the last SR.

Single record view window increases !

Hi !
I use vesion 1.1.2.25-79.
Opening the single record view on an record of a table the window is of "normal" size. I enlarged it a little. to see more columns of the record.
From now on the window is increasing every time I open the "single record view".
A bug or feature ?

It certainly seems like a bug to me - the window gets wider each time it is opened (regardless of whether you have resized it first) and it eventually gets wider than the screen. Thankfully it does start from it's previous size, so you can resize it down to keep it usable next time and it does reset when restarting SQL Developer, but it is another annoyance :(

Supervisor Record Viewer playback sound poor

We use Cisco Contact center. We record all our incoming calls. In the Cisco Supervisor Desktop, the Supervisor Record Viewer is used to playback the recorded files. When you playback these recorded files from within this supervisor record viewer, the sound is very poor and cracky. Sounds like pstn lines over the atlantic back in 1955. However when I look up the files that are saved on the contact center server and I convert them to wav, the sound is ok. So the recording is done correct. Why when I playback from within the tool is the playback sound so poor?
I use Cisco Unified Contact Center Express 7.0 Cisco Supervisor DEsktop 6.6.(1)(Premium Version)

The problem was solved by doing an update.
The Build I used was 6.6.1.053 I believe. After the update it was 6.6.1.400, which solved the problem with the playback sound.

Using Pro Logic X to record. I have several tracks and I'm trying to record an audio track. I have the mic connect to Avalon 737 then into apollo interface. When I record all track are being recorded into that track. I can't just get the audio to record.

Thanks for responding. Everything seems to work right except for the when I plug into the 737. Ok let me see if I can be more clear. I had this set up done with two representatives of Neumann, and DBox. Here it is I hope this helps. 32 Channel snake (24 Inputs 8 outputs) Channels 1-8 from snake to my Octopre for Drums. From Octropre output quarter inch lines into the Apollo 2, quarter inch input. This is so that the Apollo 2 is taking the drum tracks. Snake Channel 9-12 into Apollo 1 channels 1-4 xlr. Snake Channel 13-16 into Apollo 2 Channels 1-4 xlr. Snake Channel 17 into the 737, output of 737 into Channel 5 of the Apollo 1 quarter inch.
Ok The Dbox. Sum output L&R into channel input 7&8 of Apollo 1. Apollo 1 output channels 1-8 into summing input channel 1-8 of Dbox. Apollo 1 main L&R going to main analog input L&R of Dbox. Spid out to DAW input of Dbox. I have both ADAT of both Apollos connected by optical wire. Also have port 2 of Apollo 1 into port 1 of Apollo 2 connected by Firewire. Let me know. Apple is constantly working on improving their new Maps service, but until it reaches the level of finesse necessary to be usable, take a look at some alternatives.
Bing Maps offers a very good maps service with Bird's Eye, a feature similar to Flyover. It's arguably better than Google Maps.
