KE30 Report - export

Hi,
I've created a report in KE31 with a form (KE34). 3 of columns are calculated. When I export the report to spreadsheet the last two columns are with empty values. If I export not all but a few characteristics these columns have values. Could it be because there are many characteristics (11) and columns with values(10).
Also one of the characteristics has hierarchy output (cost centers) but when I export the report it contains only cost centers, not upper levels (cost center groups). Is it possible to export groups too?
Please advise me
Thanks in advance,
Jasmina

Hi Rui,
u will have to export-import in the folowing order:
-Any new variables (GS17 - Export ,GS18 - Import )
-new sets (GS07 - Export ,GS08 - Import )
-new report (GR37 - Export ,GR38 - Import )
-new report group (GR57 - Export , GR58 - Import )
-new library (GR27 - Export , GR28 - Import )
I hope this sovles ur query.
Points pls if useful

Kiran

  • KE30 report for a Configerable material.

    Hi all!
Our client uses KE30 report regularly. But for a particular material the report is not giving the kind of output that is required.
The follwing is the sales process.
The material whcih is configuable ( with Item category group 002 and Item category TAC ) has components with customised Item category (ZZAE which is not relevent for billing). So the main material is flowing into the invoice and the components are not flowing into the invoice and the KE30 report.
Inorder to flow the components into the KE30 report we tried making changes in the components Item category ( ZZAE- making it "billing relevent). But the invoice gets disturbed. Can some one help ?
    regards,
    vijay v

    Hi
We have recently had the same kind of requests from areas of the business. I found the easiest way was to use SE16N with table MSEG (Material document item level). With the required selections I was able to export over 600,000 lines of data. I then added other tables if required (MAKT - Material description, etc)
You will not be able to export as a spreadsheet so instead export to Local File / unconverted as a text file. Then you will be able to open it in Excel (if you have the latest version of Office)
It really depends on what material movement data you actually need. As I mentioned we found 99% of the data we needed for a report in one data table
    Hope this helps

  • Ke30 report navigation

    hi,
may i know what is the navigation in ke30 report?
after the selection screen execution, report comes out.
u will notice before the item line report, there is 1 part called navigation with icon.
    what is this navigation doing?
    thanks

    Hi,
Navigation allows the characteristics which can select and view report. Say Profit center characterstic u can select and view the details... This Characteristic behaves as navigational attribute... This help for navigation as well as for drilldown...

  • Report export to csv - no data found in report

    Hi all,
I've followed the steps to export my report to a csv file. In the Report Attributes, Report Export section I have:
Enable CSV output: Yes           Separator: ,           Enclosed By:
    Link Label: Export
    Filename: Changes.xls
But when I open it in excel, no data found is the only test showing in cell A1.
Is there something else I need to do? I don't understand why it's not exporting my report - there is data on my screen in the report.
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Dave,

  • Will SUBMIT report EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY work, when Run in Background?

You can use SUBMIT <report> EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY, and then Call the FM LIST_FROM_MEMORY to get the Data.
This works fine, when the Program is Run in Foreground. My question is, will it work when I Run the Program in Background? i.e. When I Run the Program in Background, will the SUBMIT Statement, Export the List to Memory? Because only then the FM LIST_FROM_MEMORY will get the Data.
Any alternate solution to meet the same requirement will be appreciated.

It works for me... my spool output looked like:

See this part of the query:
    <br><br>
    if :P15_GESTOR_PROPIETARI='-3' then<br>

    end if;<br>
    <br>
when instead of :P15_CANVI_DE_CLUB I put a value (say ''EE'') it works correctly, finally I created an application item (ASSOCIAT) and when when I change :P15_CANVI_DE_CLUB I set :ASSOCIAT to the same value and the query is based on this application item:

  • Crystal Reports export and print fails with SSL / https but works with http

    Windows 2008 Server, 32-bit (IIS7)
    ASP.NET 2.0
    Ajax 1.0
    Crystal Reports version 10.5.3700.0
    http:  printing works, export works
https:  printing not working, only export to MS Excel and MS Word work.
I am able to generate reports using both http and https, and the toolbar icons are all showing.  However, I am unable to print or export properly with SSL.
Printing prompts me with a select printer window, and then a window 'Retrieving Page 1' follow by two messages from Crystal Print Control both stating:
A communication error occured.  Printing will be stopped.
Exporting generates various errors depending on which export method is being selected (however Excel and Word work over https).
I've found the same problem on this site and other forums, but never a resolution to get exporting and printing to work with SSL.  Will someone please provide me assistance or possibly relay what settings they're using if they have Crystal Reports export or printing working over SSL in IIS7?  Everything works fine when I change the address from https to http.
Please let me know if I can help by providing further information.  We've gone through a great deal of possible solutions with code and I'm currently looking in to IIS settings again.
    Thank you.

Thanks Ludek. I got it by searching KB number.
Unfortunately, it didn’t fix my problem even my IE (IE8 and IE 9) has correct setting.  I double check my version. PrintControl.CAB is version 10.2.0.1146. we use VS 2005 Crystal report and VB .NET. It works fine on HTTP. But when we use HTTPS (SSL Certificate from go daddy).
    1: Crystal report export
Export to MS Excel, Word: pop us “File download”, then click “Save”. It says “Internet Explorer cannot download ReportView.aspx from my site. Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. the requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try it again later”
Export to RPt, Rich text format: It says “Internet Explorer cannot download ReportView.aspx from my site. Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. the requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try it again later”
Export to PDF : nothing happened.
    2: Print:
Pop up dialog to select printer, click “Print” “. Shows windows “Crystal Report Viewer” and pop us error message box. Title is “Crystal Print Control”. Message is “An communication error occurred. Printing will be stopped”. Click “OK” and pop up error message box again.
    Please advise.
    Thank you very much!

  • Date-Wise KE30 Report

    Dear Experts,
As per my knowledge we can generate the KE30 Report by Period and Year leve. But my client requires to generate the COPA KE30 Report by date-wise. I had checked the all characteristics, I didn't found the Date Charactereistic.
How can I acheive this requirement?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Balaji Bhonsle..

    Hi Balaji,
there are two kinds of reports in KE30: segment-level based reports and line-item based reports.
Posting date is available only in line-item based reports.
Line-item based reports are created in TC KE91, the forms used by them in KE94 (vs. KE31 and KE43 for segment-level reports)
Line-item based reports will run slowly, as they read all individual line-items

  • Apex 4.0.1 classic report export

Hello once again all you Application Express experts.
I am having some difficulty getting an apex classic report to export the results of the report grid.
This is a classic report being run, not interactive.
It is also as an SQL Query (PL/SQL function body returning sql query) for the report identification type.
The function body is of decent size, maybe 200 lines at most, but i have narrowed it down a couple of problematic lines.
The report runs perfectly when I take out the follow line from the function...
    v_return := v_return || 'AND instr('':'' || ''' || :p3_status || ''' || '':'','':'' || xel.employment_status || '':'') > 0 ';
So :p3_status is a checkbox item on the page, with three options: Active, Terminated, Retired.
In the repeatable failure scenario :p3_status = 'Active'.
One of the interesting parts is the report grid always returns the right results to the screen, it is just the report export that fails.
It never errors, it just returns a no data response to the file being exported.
This is Application Express v 4.0.1 running on Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit.
Any thoughts or any troubleshooting hints anyone can provide?
    Thanks,
    Hayden

    Hayden,
Why do u need to append the item value in the PLSQL function body when apex will take of that(using its bind value).
Your predicate is actually a static one since only the item value changes (and that can be handled by its bind value). So avoid concatenating it in the function body to build the clause(which has the additional problem of passing in the item value to the function)
    Change it to
    v_return := v_return || q'!AND INSTR(':'||:p3_status||':',xel.employment_status) > 0!';
Notice that the :p3_status item evaluation happens only in the apex page
Also making use of the q function to escape quotes, it makes life much more easier in these cases.

  • KE30 report - Unable to see billing document number

    Dear SAP community
I have a requirement to be able to show the billing document number in a KE30 report.
    Background as follows:
Sales order created, delivery is created, stock is picked and transferred and delivered, post goods isssue and invoice created to produce the accounting documents.
The requirement is to show a report which is broken down by sales order and then further drilldown to things like cost centre and billing document numbers.. On running the report, no billing document number is shown.
I have created a custom characteristic called WWINV in KEA5 using data element VBLEN_VF, Domain VBLEN, check table VBUK.
WWINV is then assigned to the operating concern (op concern regenerated).
Next step I created a lookup in KEDR
    Source fields:

  • Issue with SSRS Report Exporting to Excel and word

    Hi,
When report is exporting in word and Excel getting format issue, but same report export with pdf there is  no issue.
    Regards,
    Afroz

You need to be always careful when export format is Word and specially Excel. Sometimes report result looks good in Report Viewer and PDF too, but it may not in MS Word and MS Excel.
You need to understand Word and Excel limitations and align all the data regions (Tablix, Rectangles, Texboxes) in correct way.
Also, you may post the actual formatting issue that you get. (With screenshot if possible)
Please read Limitation section in below:
