hi experts,
can any one explain how to record tcode kp06?
how handle table control ?

I would try to use the "position" button to bring up the line you want to change to the top and change it at that point.

KP06 Cost Center Budget Planning System error when locking the data records

Hi,
While updating Cost Center Planning system(KP06) its giving the below error:
System error when locking the data records.
Message no. KI502
Diagnosis
The lock to protect the data records being processed could not be set. The
probable reason for this is that the SAP locking table is full and no more
entries can be added.
Procedure
Inform your system administrator immediately
No planning data has been changed
Message no. K8038
Diagnosis
You used Post. While preparing the data for posting, the SAP System
determined that no changes were made in the available databank values.
System Response
A posting activity price is not necessary
Please help me how can we rectify the above error..

You can create master data between cost center / activity type.
You can link the two by planning for activity qty the combination of a cost center / activity type in KP26. Then you do a detailed planning for costs for the cost center / activity type / cost element in KP06.

Buget Upload, Planned values-KP06

Hi Eeveryone,
I posted budget ( planned values) for a cost center in KP06, and used version 1,its for year 2011 .I can see all the values in report KSBP which is planned line item report.
My problem is I have created a report painter report using LIbrary 0FL- and report executes by profit centers. In the Actual /Plan columns ,system is not extracting out planned values for year 2011. What could be the reason? In my QA client, there system shows the planned values in the same report.I compared the two systems , but everythign is the same.any idea??Thansk

Am just making a wild guess... In OKEQ, under PCA tab just try by fiddling around with "Online transfer settings"
It wont have impact incase you have not activated EC-PCA...
Just check whether the FAGLFLEXP table is populated with plan records or not...
Also, check
1. If you done settings in GLP2 and GLL1
2. If you have maintained the doc type for planning in New GL and maintained No ranges
3. Try by executing T code FAGL_CO_PLAN.. This transfers the line items from CO-OM to New GL

KP06 mass planning through a single CSV file

Hi All,
I have created one Planning layout and assign it to a planner profile for KP06 upload. We are using CSV format file for this upload. Now i am able to upload Kp06 plan data for a single cost center for one period only.
But my client is asking for all cost centers plan for all periods through a single CSV file(mass planning). If its not possible for all periods plz guide me how to do for all cost centers for one period.
it would be appreciated if any one help on this issue.

Still - Does Excel upload allows you to upload multiple cost centers at a time??
To upload by All periods in one go - One needs to define 12 Columns for the Key Figures.... But is multiple cost centers possible?? As far as I remember from SDN posts, its not possible
@ Spandana - I personally Luv LSMW for the same reason... You can upload all in one go and per sec it uploads avg 6 records in KP06... That speed is decent enuf

You can upload from excel file as well or create an LSMW to upload the values in KP06
As regards downloading the KP06 template, you wont need to download it if you use LSMW.. based on your recording in LSMW, system will propose you the fields required to be filled up in the excel file

You cannot postphone go live till the books of accounts being audited. You do not know how much time it will take. What you are trying to do is bringing the books from your legacy data to ERP, in other system you packing from one bag to another bag. The following information is useful to you.

Broadly I will divide data uploading process into two categories.
1. Master data (GL accounts, customers, vendors, assets, cost elements, cost centers, profit centers etc.)
2. Transactional Data (Open Items for customers and vendors, GL line items, Cost Center planning, profit center plan data load etc.)
In the first case mostly you can use LSMW, if you are conversant. The following document is useful to you.

Note: No template is suitable for you, because, your configuration is different and their configuration is different, field status of various fields must be different. Therefore, follow the above document and start from fresh with recording. Recording is more or less sufficient for master data.
In the second case, you create 5 Offsetting accounts + one main offsetting account.
1. Vendor Offsetting Account
2. Customer Offsetting Account
3. Asset Offsetting Account
4. GL Offsetting Account
5. Stock Offsetting Account
At the end of the day, the total balances within these accounts must be ZERO. Make ZERO these accounts and transfer the balance to MAIN offsetting account. Once you have done this, make sure you have blocked all these accounts.
Technically, in second case, you should take help from ABAPer to write BDC, particularly in case if your entries are having different line items. For example your first document is having 5 line items and second document is having 10 line items, in such case LSMW recording will not work. You can depend on some standard SAP programs to map the LSMW. If you are not conversant with how to map, then you can refer the following document posted by Naimesh.

Still, if you are not able to map, then there is no other way, you need to depend on ABAPer for uploading the transaction data through BDC. He / she will create a program and a customized transaction code for you and provide you the format. You may have to help the ABAPer with your requirement what you are exactly looking to upload.

Lsme for transaction kp06

I had created a lsmw for transaction kp06 all is fine and data is getting is upload while doing it in foreground and when i am doing it in background it is giving me
no batch data input is available for screen 300.
in my recording i am not able to see any screen 300.
done lsmw like this
1)entered controlling area
2)required data in layout and said overview
3)after thuis i changed the total planned cost field
and saved it.
it is working fine in foreground when in background it is giving me the above error.

I think the problem is with your recording like ....
while u r recording the tcode u might have entered all the correct values means all the comapatable values where as there is another side of the coin if u enter values which are non compatable in one of the fileds then it may give some pop up or error message saying that you entered some invalid value rite... so while recording in the first method u may miss this screen.
everything is fine and in your flat file if there would some non compatable values in any one of the records then the extra pop up or subscreen will be displayed and the screen sequence will be lost
so my suggestion is try to run the tcode in the no error mode with the record with which u r getting the error message.. try to check what exactly the problem is....
one more thing here you have to take into consideration...
some transaction like enjoy tcodes and IS- tcodes LSMW will not support the background processing of the session at that time you have to check the other options like BAPI or IDOC method....
so check the possible options
I think, I gave you some idea......

Dear expert,
Would like to seek help, that I try to upload budget using T-code KP06 from a text(tab delimited) file into SAP system by go to Extra->Excel Planning->upload but the system does not allow to upload the budget and have the following error.
1) The row inserted cannot be processed manually message Message no. K9
2) The cost element 4101110600 you want to plan has a primary cost element type.
     The cost center HNIS to be planned is blocked against the planning of
     primary costs. This block was made in the master record of this cost
      center for period(s) 001.
3)Locks or problems have occurred
    Message no. K8037
   Diagnosis
    When checking for the planning records to be processed/edited, locks or
    problems were found. Only a portion of the planning records can be
    processed or none at all.
I have check the period is not in the system by using OKP2 and the version and fiscal year is not lock and I dont not why this error message appear.

Hi Karen ,
Check master data of the cost center HNIS. The in control tab .. plan primary costs may be locked( Tick may be there). Remove the same and try to upload again..

Problem in Recroding KP06 tcode

Hi Gurus,
I want to download the data which will be displayed in Kp06 in excel sheet.
But KP06 will show different layouts.
How can I record the KP06 and how can i pass different values to different layouts.
Is there any alternative to download the data from Kp06 for different layouts using any FM or any other.

BDC KP06 partially working in Production

The BDC program of KP06 is working fine in development but when run in production it uploads hardly 2-3 records and then gives error and then the session has to be completed thru SM35?
Any clues on this one?

Set KOKRS for ECATTs using CO-Transactions like KP06

Dear Collegues,
how can i make sure the ECATT i create does set the KOKRS if nessessary for transactions like KP06 for example?
I just did record the KP06 transaction now and defined the paramters as following:
KOKRS     Kostenrechnungskreis          I     KOKRS          C     4
VERSION     Version               I     VERSN          C     3
PERVON     Periode ab               I     KPLA_PERBL          N     3
PERBIS     Periode bis               I     KPLA_PERBL          N     3

My problem is now, how to set the KOKRS to the value of the import-file, which is including all fields mentioned above within this KP06 ECATT? I just thought about smth. like following:
IF KOKRS = ' '.
ABAP.
ENDABAP.
But how to use the values from the importfile here?
Any other more easy solutions for this issue?

You do not need a separate input file, just use internal variants for the test data in the eCATT test configuration or handle you data for input in external variant files (which have format of csv).

TCODE KPO6 Recording

Dear Guys
I have developed a upload program for Transaction KP06 using SHDB Transaction Recorder. Its working fine till the records fit into table control with out scrolling the scroll bar down. But when there is a need to scroll down the scroll bar   to insert more records its get failed.
How can I scroll the scroll bar of table control while uploading the records using SHDB when there is a need to insert more records in Table Control.

You can use the bapi: BAPI_COSTACTPLN_POSTACTINPUT instead of BDCs to avoid the confusing aspects of BDC programming.

Hi to all, I've this error when I try to create a condition record :
Implementation of Method FIELD_CHECK/DEFAULT_VALUE_SUGGESTION for BAdI /SAPCND/ROLLNAME for filter ZIUSERSTATUS is missing
Message no. /SAPCND/MAINTENANCE719
Diagnosis
Implementation of BADI /SAPCND/ROLLNAME or method FIELD_CHECK/DEFAULT_VALUE_SUGGESTION is missing for the filter characteristic ZIUSERSTATUS.
If, however, the implementation is correct (see BADI Interface Documentation) and active, there is an error in the condition maintenance layer.
System Response
An exception or error occurred because condition maintenance cannot check, convert or lock/unlock the fields of a condition record.
Procedure
Contact the department responsible for carrying out the missing implementation in the case of application fields in the customer namespace. SAP is responsible for SAP fields which are set in the field catalog (/SAPCND/CTFC) and delivered, and if the field is supported as a possible field in a condition table. SAP is also responsible for the implementation of usage fields for SAP applications, just as with condition technique fields.
In cases where SAP is responsible, contact your responsible support organization.
