KP98 - Actual Prices do Not copy to plan version

Hi everyone,
I'm attempting to do a KP98, so that I can have a copy of my actuals in my plan version. The transaction works fine in copying everything I selected, however when I check my activity prices using for example Tcode KSBT, it does not show me me any prices for my activities.
In other words my activity quantities are successfully copied into my plan version, but NOT the prices.
In version '000' prices exist, but not in my plan versio '100'. Any ideas?
Am I missing something?

So if I understand you correctly:
Even after setting the "Price" and "Activity Qty" flag in KP98, it doesn't actually copy the price from version 000 to my plan version 100. I still have to run KSPI to get my price posted in my version 100?
If that's what I understand correctly............... then what's the benefit of setting the "Price" flag in KP98? That's what I'm trying to understand.
Of course if I change my planned values then I have to run KSPI again to calculate the new price.
But if I just do a KP98, WITHOUT making any changes to my planning in version 100, should KP98 just copy the prices from my actuals, and I would only need to run KSPI again only if I make changes to my planning dollars?

they are seeing the application in planning. they created a scenario dimension containing , budget, actual and forecast.. but in the planing application they can only see budget. the rest 2 are not visible.

I am trying to copy the planning version for S001 (Version - 001), from the Transaction MC8V. But, it is giving error sayin "S001 001 doesn't exist in P44V".

Copy WBS planning version

Hello
I want to copy a planning version with CJ9B. I have selected the "all plan data" radio button and the "reset and owerwrite" radio button.
In the detail result list, only the first cost element of the WBS element is copied.
I have unchecked project summarization for the WBS element and all the WBS elements above in the porject hierarchy. Is there anything to do to copy all the cost elements or is it a normal behaviour ?

No, it is not normal. It should copy over all the WBS elements including the lower level ones, if there are costs posted to it. Have you checked whether there are costs on the lower ones or are they only posted to the top node.

Copying One Plan Version to Another Plan Version

Hi Experts,
When I am copying one plan version to target plan version by using the transaction RE_RHCOPL00,
I am getting waring as the target version is not empty.
I have checked the tables HRP1000,HRP1001 but no objects exists for the target planversion.
Secondly I am getting waring also Number Assignment is not for all plan versions.
My requirement is to copy 3 different plan version into one plan version.

My concern is the I have three different plan versions ( division wise) , I need to copy all the 3 plan version into one tranget plan version ( which is not active).
But in Quality and Development system we have table T77S0 with the entry 05 for the Numrg and Comp.
Should I assign the same in prodution.
I am sure that 3 different plan versions have unique numbers.Please advice what to do.

Error the actual price could not be determined while executing CKMLCP

we are facing the problem while executing CMLCP, the error message is "The actual price for 10VN000012/MHR could not be determined" ( error message number CKMLLA102).
Our scenarios is as below:
we have 4 activity types out of which activity type "MHR" are used only for Indirect activity allocaiton tracing factor that means all service costs from service cost centres will be distributed to production cost centres in the ratio of actual quantity confirmed for MHR activity type.
for this activity type we will not have any actual cost distribution, so there will not be any actual cost for this activity type.
So, as actual quantity is confirmed during production process and while executing CMLCP is expecting actual price for the same ( we are executing KSII for actual activity price calculation before costing run). is there any enhancement to avoid this error, because our client don't want to allocate cost to this activity type.

Hi Ramesh,
Message CKMLLA102 is standard system behaviour when the actual
price of an activity is zero because cost center accounting does not
allow actual prices to be zero.
Unfortunately the system can't distinguish an actual activity price
of zero from a not yet calculated activity price, so for activities
with actual price zero the message CKMLLA 102 is sent.
Have you check the SAP note 361379?. It provides you some options to overcome
the issue.

NAVS Tax price is not copied when creating a PO using template PO

Hello,
We have the following situation.
In our Pricing calculation schema we use condition NAVS for tax calculation.
Tax amount is entered automatically when we create a PO (based on condition records found)
However, when we create a PO, copying this existing PO, The NAVS tax returned is zero!
the following message appears in the price analysis:
"04 - 203 - Condition record was found and changed manually"
Via the button "Update" with option G "Copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes" we can retrieve again the tax price.
We would like to skip this manual procedure and have the system automatically copy the NAVS-taxprice.
How can we accomplish this?

Not necesary anymore

Created a standard Inquiry (IN) with price but the price not copied to quotation

I created a standard inquiry of type IN and entered price for my items in inquiry.
Now, I am creating a quotation with reference to inquiry. On the quotation landing page, everything like material, quantity, sold-to, ship-to are copied but the price is not copied.
Is this common or am I doing anything wrong ?

Price not copying from contract to maintenance order in IW31

Hi Gurus,
I am facing issue in one of the client where Price is not copying from contract to maintenance order in IW31. But while doing the same in another client it is working fine.
I did not find the settings for this change. Can any one please help me for which settings price is not copying to IW31 transaction?

i think if you have assinged the contract the servies will not copied ,for this in the external tab select the serice selectionbutton ,here specify the agreement from their select the serives you required

Copy the Actuals in Plan version with Incremental Factor

We have a requirement wherein we want to copy the Actual Figures add the incremental percentage of 3% & then copy to Plan version in Cost Center Planning
Is there any standard fuctionality which help me do this transaction

I haven't tried but think there's this is standard way using revaluation.
Use T Code KSPU and choose menu Extras>Revaluation>Create. Mention the CE's, period and percentage.
In the initial screen select this revaluation, copied over plan values version and execute.

You have to check in customizing Project System > Costs > Create CO version the correct settings for Fiscal Year 2008.

OKEQ - click on the proper 'plan/actual' vesion, double click on 'setting of each fiscal year' - define a missing fiscal year if does not exisit. Double click on a defined fiscal year: check and change if necessary settings under 'price calculation' tab.

Can someone explain me the procedure of CON1,
For Ex: Actual Activity Price of Direct Labour is say $12 per hour and the planned activity prices is say $10 per hour.

1. Where these actual activity price of $12 per diriect labour hour is entered ? can the system calculate automatic actual prices? if yes what is the procedure
2. When CON1 is executed ,what is the entry that is posted to Product cost collector and the cost center .

Depending on the procedure use, the cost & actvities of the period are analysed separetaly ( periodically diff. price) as total values ( average price ) or as values cumulated up to the analysis period ( cumulated price) Based on on CO settings.
However, since the actual price calculation is not executed until the period-end closing, iteratively calculated actual price is not available when the actual activity posted. Therefore, the activities arenormally valuated with planned prices initially. After the actual price are claculated, you can make the relevant adjustment postings. in other workds revaluation at actual price for your projects.
CJN1 : is Revaluation at actual price : Project / WBs / Netwrok single processing
CJN2 : is Revaluation at actual price : Project / WBs / Netwrok mass processing
( for the use of CJN2 ) you have to define variant in CJ8V txn.
Weather to use the revaluation at actual price in SAP is normally decided by CO consultant.
