Landed Costs through DI API

Hi,
It is possible to create documents Landed Costs through the DI API?
From what version it is possible to create?
Best Regards,
Tiago

Hi Tiago,
I think that only the LandedCostsCodes Object is available
From B1 8.8 SDK Help File
The LandedCostsCodes (Select Administration --> Setup -->Purchasing -->Landed Costs.) object enables to define codes for landed costs and their distribution type. These codes are used in delivery notes to divide the landed costs between the items according to the specified distribution type (AllocationBy), such as weight.

  • Add User Defined Field (Landed Costs Window)

    Hello All!
Somebody can help us on this, we wonder if someone can tell us how can we add a user defined field in the Landed Costs Windows -> Fixed Costs TAB place.
We were unable to add this field, and now we're thinking that's impossible through the USER DEFINE FIELD function, there's not reference about Fixed Costs TAB in this tool, but if someone knows the 'how to', please help us.
    thanks in advance
    jssanche

    Hi Sanchez,
I am afraid you could not do that. User defined field is not be added into landed cost. Landed cost seems like process external bank statement. I have ever asked to SAP support about this (how to add UDF in process external bank statement) and they said it could be done using add-on. You have developed add-on to do that (DI/UI or UI API only).
    Rgds,

  • Modification in Landed Cost Screen.

How do I add a column in the Items Tab of Landed Costs Screen ?

To my knowledge you can't do that through the generic way (adding a UDF etc).
You will have to use UI API workarounds like adding a button (or tab) where you keep the data which are connected to the landed costs.
...or you could hide the original matrix behind a matrix you control - and just update the original one... but - as mentioned - there are only more or less desirable / viable workarounds...
    Sorry

  • Customer wants Inventory Transfer to associate Freight/Landed Cost to Items

    This is the situation:
SAP B1 customer wants sells items from warehouse 01 and warehouse 02. Warehouse 01 on eastern side of Canada and Warehouse 02 on Western side.
They would like to transfer certain items to warehouse 02. However, it involves Freight or Landed Costs associated.
The customer may adjust the price of items transferred to 02 or and if they don't they atleast would like to know whether they are taking a loss in selling the transferred items from warehouse 02.
In order to know the cost of items or associated cost with the items in 02, they need to track Freight or Landed costs associated with the transfer to western Canada.
Inventory Transfer does not allow us to associate any shipping charges? or am I missing something here?
Associating shipping charges with inventory transfer seems like such a natural act of transfer through Trucks? why isn't it associated with inventory transfer function in SAP B1?
As usual appreciate all your help?
    Thanks.

  • Landed Costs in B1 2007 A

    Hi:
In landed costs in 2005 we used to have a facility to allocate the landed costs and while passing a JV - we used to select the corresponding vendor to pass the necessary entry as an account by pressing shift tab.  The new version 2007 does not allow you to select the BP at all.  Is there a way when we import we will be able to pass entries to the vendor (for clearing and forwarding expenses invoices) and debit the corresponding clearing and forwarding expenses.
    regards
    Manian

    Hi
I have gone through the documentation on landed costs and it is not that well drafted as is not conclusive.
    I have 2 problems:
    1. Previously in 2005 you used to add the landed cost and then later create and post the journal, now it seems that once you add it posts automatically.  Can we stop this in any way and work on the old method?
    2. Currency - in 2005 you would change the currency to USD for example when putting in the ocean freight amount etc and all other costs in USD and then change to local currency for all the other costs which are in the local currency.  It does not seem to allow you to do this anymore or is there some tab or button i need to change.  We need this function!
Kindly assist as soon as possible.
    Regards,
    Shaun

  • Landed cost on import items

    Hi
Our cient adds 2 cost in the Raw material cost ( Customs duty and Clearing agent cost)
To manage this I have to added the following cost to my item price for which i am using landed cost functionality.
    GRPO: Raw Material Cost ( Qty x Price) = 400 x 100 = 40000
    Customs Duty ;                                        = 10000
    Clearance agent cost                              = 5000
The total (10000+5000) is added to item cost through landed cost and my unit price is increased as per requirement.
My concern is 5000 is gone into Clearance agent account created as an landed cost account.
Later AP service is raised for agent which hits my vendor and clearing & forrwarding account.
How to clear the value 5000 in clearance agent cost account.
Guide me if i am following wrong steps for landed cost. Solution will be appreciated

    Hi Prince......
This 5000 which was credited during Landed cost you have to debit this during AP service invoice as you mentioned in your thread where clearance agent cost account will be debited and your vendor account will be credited.
This way clearance agent cost account credit at Landed Cost level and clearance agent cost account debited at AP Service Invoice Level will make this account settled.....
Hope this is the right solution for you.......
    Regards,
    Rahul

  • Landed Costs and Warehouse Transfer Costs

We have an issue that Iu2019m sure B1 can handle, but Iu2019m not sure how to go about it.  When we have a shipment of items come in from overseas, we enter in a landed costs document so that those shipping costs are appropriately distributed as products are sold from our LA warehouse.  Sometimes however, we ship multiple items from our LA warehouse to our Utah warehouse.  What I want to do is basically run another landed costs, so that the shipping costs of sending items to Utah is also apportioned between the different items.  There doesnu2019t seem to be a place to enter this in the Inventory Transfer document.  How would I go about solving this problem?

    Hai Derek Perkins,
Try it out this solution if it satisfies,
Instead of booking Inventory Transfer, Book a Goods Issue(which Credit the Material Acc and Debit Freight Acc)
Then Book Goods Receipt with (Itemcost+Freight Cost) as unit Price (which Debit Material Acc and Credit Freight Acc)
Now, the Expense incurred in Transport can seen through Freight Acc.
Note: In Goods Issue even if u enter Price system pass Ledger only for Itemcost.

  • Add New columns on Form 992 landed costs

    Hi you all
Well, at first i needed 2 new userdefined fields on OIPF2 (landed costs), after that i realize that i have no DI API objects for LandedCosts I've created a new usertable (@OIPF21) trying to synchronize it with the OIPF2, but to add the columns in the form 992 for the new fields of IPF21 i have to set the omatrix to clear (omatrix.clear), so the data in the original matrix goes blank, i've tried with everything, FlushToDataSource, LoadFromDataSource but in the real form the data i want back is from a System Table, i tried to add the columns in et_MATRIX_LOAD or et_DATASOURCE_LOAD, but when i run it step by step it never gets into et_MATRIX_LOAD or et_DATASOURCE_LOAD,
    i'm going to get fired
    please help me!!!!!!
    i'm running crazy

    Hi Gabriela,
Sorry for the late reply, but these events don't get fired on system forms (as Rasmus stated correctly they are available on user-def. forms, but that won't help you...)
The only option you have is the same as in this post: Re: Refill non-user matrix
... or to display a user-def. matrix instead of the original one + handle everything in both directions
... or resize the original matrix + add your fields in an additional user-def. matrix + synchronize (what implies more issues since there is no programatical scrolling capability etc.)
Sorry for the bad news; hope you won't get fired though...

  • Confused about the Landed Costs Allocation Account

Hi, Im uncertain about which account to use in the landed costs module.
What we are doing right now is this:
We add our raw materials throught the Goods Receipt Module Debiting our inventory and Crediting the allocation account which its in the liability category.
Next we add our transportation and import costs through the landed costs module. Here we debit the same inventory account and Im not sure as to which acount to credit. Should I use the same allocation account?
Can some please share your experience?
    Thank you.

    Hi Jose,
You should use a different allocation account. When you pay the bills to the customes agents and freight companies for the landed costs, they can be coded to this allocation account and can be reconciled accordingly.
The allocation account used for the goods receipts is cleared when processing AP Invoices to the suppliers, and should also be reconciled for differences
    Hope this helps

  • Stop receipt if landed cost above specific % of last receipt

    Hi,
How can I stop the user if the overall landed cost for an item is more than a specific % than the last receipt for the same item?
    regards,
    Vimlesh

    Hi Vimlesh,
Though we can set Tolerance limits for GR through Tolerance keys in OMC0, we may not be able to address your problem with standard settings. Moreover these settings are at company code level.
However, plz go through all the tolerance keys. You may find an approach.
    Thanks,
    PNR.

    Naveed,
Landed cost only supports inventory item in current system design.  You need to do it manually for Fixed Asset.

  • Landed Cost not showing in Inventory Audit

I have a query that goes against the OIPF/IPF1 tables to locate all Landed Cost transactions for a particular item. To test/verify the query, I ran the Inventory Audit report for the item. There are transactions returned from the query that do not show in the Inventory Audit report. Is there any reason or circumstance under which a Landed Cost Transaction would not show in the Inventory Audit report. I checked against all warehouses. This does not seem to be a singular event in that I have found random occurences of this for different items yet the majority of the time the Audit Report returns all entries.

    Dear Cristian
    Please check the Following things.
1)First check audit report for a Single Product.
2)Select all warehouse in Audit report.
    3) Check you landed cost entry if your JV not pass in landed cost, so landed Cost not reflected in you audit report. (Auto JV not pass in SAP 2005 Version)
Please check and Let me Know.
