Language is wrong

Tonight I downloaded the file: "BlackBerry USB and Modem Drivers_(DM4.5 B13)_Dutch from the RIM website.
I expected the installer to be Dutch, as in the native language we speak in The Netherlands. However, the installer was completely in German!
I'm not quite sure if our RIM friends in the US know the difference between Dutch and German, we are small countries compared to yours, but the languages differ like American and Mexican. Simply said: they are very different
It would be very nice if this would be fixed, because I'd like to gave the USB/Modem drivers and they don't seem to be available in English...

i think this is relare to /Encoding /WinAnsiEncoding insite pdf file becouse :
Windows code page 1252(Arabic encoding) but Persian is 1256 , often called the “Windows ANSI”
encoding. This is the standard Windows encoding for Latin text in
western European languages.
Please help me how i can solve this problem ASAP.

unfortunatly no. that is, hwo desformat=delimited works. but you can switch them off using the DELIMITED_HDR commandline parameter (6i patch5 and up)

Swedish language pack wrong term tranlsation

In the Swedish language package for SP 2013 server there is a wrong translation.<o:p></o:p>
The wrong translation is the abbreviation for billions (Swedish: "miljarder"), the correct abbreviation for billions in
Swedish is "md" and NOT "mf0". As you can see in the picture below where we have made a diagram in Power View in SharePoint 2013.<o:p></o:p>

According to your description, mfo was displayed as the abbreviation of miljarder(billion) instead of md in the diagram after installing Swedish language pack for SharePoint 2013.

I've seen this issue be raised in the past for another language. The advice then was to try copying the fonts in "C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\fonts" to "<JAVA_HOME>/jre/lib/fonts"

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.
Move these files to the Desktop for now...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.HIToolbox.<12digitHexNu mber>.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.HIToolbox.plist
Reboot & set it up again.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.

Why does my powerpoint keep correcting my language as wrong even when i default to english from french?

My professor uploads a powerpoint that the class downloads for in class notes. Every time i'm in class taking notes, the program red underlines all of my words saying that they're incorrect. So in attempt to prevent that I went to tools>language>Delft English language (from french) and pressed OK. IT WORKED! then..... I went to my next slide to proceed to take notes and there it is again.... WHY is it doing this to me after I defaulted it over twenty times in one sitting???

Language still wrong in iTunes

Again I installed iTunes 5.0.1 English on Windows XP, and again it's showing menus in Finnish. Can't Apple please fix this? I have no intention of changing my regional settings (Finnish) which must be correct for other programs to work appropriately.

Thanks. So now I'll just need to manually tamper with iTunes resource files every time I install it on my computer(s).
Seriously, Apple needs to realize that regional settings on Windows are NOT a language selection preference. There are millions of people who need to have country-specific settings there and still use their software in English.
It should be a simple matter of adding a language selection menu to the iTunes installer and/or the settings window.
(And I'm saying all this as a paying iTunes music store customer.)

H. I just upgraded the E71 software to 500.21.009. Text is correct everywhere, expect in the help section. The language there is some Slavic variant. Does anybody of you know how I can change this to Norwegian?

Hello there!
If those texts are static, you can use the following procedure (to translate your text elements):
Go to SE63, then in the menu follow this path:
Translation->ABAP Objects->Other Long Texts->FS (forms and styles)->FORM (Forms)
This will transport you for a screen where you can choose the script (Object -> field Object Name). Press Enter. If says object not found, it's because the source language is wrong (box below named translation -> field source language --- press F4 to change it)
After this, you'll navigate (after pressing Enter with correct language in source and choosing a correct one in target) to the transaltion screen. You'll have you text elements, original on top, your transalation below.
If those texts are dynamic, I believe you have to do the way you are doing.

Now need install language package EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0/NW7.01 SR1.
I install this package in system, create supplementation in 000 and production mandant, execute programm RSLANG20. But text in production mandant stay from old package, in 000 mandant text from new package.
How implement new language pack in a productive client?
Used RSTLAN_SUPPLEMENT_ONI for reset supplementation and copy translations?

Go to SMLT -> select the Language
highlight your selected language then select LANGUAGE -> IMPORT PACKAGE
After that check the language consistency with the report: RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK
If there is any Software unit affected import the Language from Support Packages:
RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS
Check the following sap notes :
Note 1309530 - Required adjustment for the report RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK
Note 1366014 - RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK: Incorrect supplementation mode

ESS Translation - Mixed Languages

Hi,
ESS Standard Applications are rendered as a mix of ENGLISH and FRENCH (eg Road Map / certain Fields), where as the language of the user is set to FRENCH.
User sets the language via Change Language drop down in the masthead - custom feature (where UME API is used to update the language of the user). Our Portal datasource is AD LDAP. Where as in the same system (Development Portal) all standard MSS applications gets translated properly in French in the same Portal session. So issue is only with ESS.
We checked the JCO and it is set to BLANK.
Any inputs please?

Yes - these are standard iViews (directly tested from SAP ESS Role).
Verified below : Please see -
1) JCO is NOT maintained blank (Mantained blank is the ideal to get the browser language) - JCO is set BLANK already ie
SAP_R3_HumanResources
SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData
2) Iview property Forced language is wrongly maintained; - As in SAP Standard iViews.
3) User has incorrect language settings; - User language is set to FR using UME API. MSS standard iView Translates fully in FR.
4) Browser has incorrect language settings; - Browser had US-EN and CA-FR in that order. I had tried with CA-FR only. Still loads with a mix of EN and FR.
5) Particular language is not installed on portal; - How to check this?
6) Wrong customizing in IMG; - Standard (doesnt need additional IMG customizing). Custom ESS Role (Services, XSS Menu
area Descriptions etc are successfully getting translated in FR) -> Issue is only from standard WDJ applications (mixed language behaviour). Home page framework is getting translated successfully.

MSI DK790 GX (non platinum) - Flashing bios

Hello there!
First things first, please accept my apologies if my language seems wrong. I'm not a native english speaker, and do not hesite to ask to repeat.
Second thing, i've read some similar topic but i'm still confused about how i have to flash my motherboard who got the CMOS checksum error which seems to be resolved by a bios update (aswell as the phenom II 940 black recognition).
Here are my questions :
- Just curiosity : what is the difference between platinum and non platinum?

I've never flashed a bios before, and while i'm confused, i'm also a little scared to do wrong manipulations and mess it all.

First of all: read the link Bas posted. It's pretty clear info and you don't need anything more than that. The forum flasher is the best way to flash your bios.
Second: you don't need any ami-flash tool or what soever. You only need a bios-ROM-file for the usb-flash tool to use. Get the newest bios here: http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=bios&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1552
Don't worry, the platinum and non-platinum boards use the same bios. they're about 99.9% the same boards, except from some tiny differences.
Now, download the bios file and place it on your desktop. Start the forum flash tool and let it prepare an usb stick. If asked, point to the bios file on the desktop and let the tool do it's work. I don't have to explain step-by-step, since the screen info is very clear on what you have to do and when.
After flashing, clear cmos (with AC-power disconnected) and reboot the system. Go into bios, load default/optimized settings and make changes you want. And then you'll be ready to go!!
