Last() function issue

I have a requirement to display the Log Solution/Log Comment activities from Service Desk tickets onto the new BOXI report. With the custom formula that uses Last() function which displays only on the first record and rest it just blanks out for some unknown reason. It would be great if anyone can share a solution who has achieved a fix to such problem in BOXI.

I have managed to achieve the same results by the steps I have written above :
Last function displays the last record in the query result in your report and that is why it is showing you just one record. If you are planning to display the latest log comment for a service desk ticket then try creating a universe objects which displays the max([Time Object]).
Then display the log comments where [Time Object]=max([Time Object])
Time Objects is the objects which captures your timestamp whenever a comment is logged
You need to make sure that you have two different queries in your report. One containing [Time Objects] and other containing the max([Time Object])
Create another variable [Comment Flag] which says
=if([Time Objercts]=max([Time Objects]);"Y";"N")
Apply a block filter for [Comment Flag]="Y"
This should work.

    I would like to obtain the last value of a list. I know that in WebI this is possible with the fuction Last() but I'm not able to do the same thing in DeskI environment.

    Here below the data that I want to summarize in my report. For each store I have 2 indicators every month:
    - active number: it tells if at the end of the month a store is active. If active it is equal to 1, if not active it is 0
    - sales: the amount of monthly sales per month
    Besides I have two dimension: store, month (eventually also the year)
    Here some data useful as example:

    Suppose I'm in december (month 12) and I want for the active store (store 1 and store 3) the YTD amount of sales, that is:

    With WebI I'm able to do this using Last() function as follow: =Last([Store]ForEach([Month]))
    It permits me to filter those stores that in december are active.
    With DeskI I'm able to do this only utilizing a Where Month=12. Instead I would like to automatize the process inputing a prompt with a filter on the Month = 12.

    is there any table/info structure where I have the last goods receipt material document number, last goods issue material document number and last purchase order number? I want to extract this information to Business Warehouse.

    Are you looking for a report similar to MB51?
    If you put little more detail, i might be able to help. I don't know much about info structures but i can tell you the SAP tables.
    All Movement Details are in the below tables.
    MKPF- Material Document Header,
    MSEG - Material Document Detail -( you can put your material, plant for selection)
    Last PO  - you can get it from Info-record (EINE- EBELN, EINE-EBELP).

    In Access, the Last function returns the last value from the result set of a query.
    The syntax for the Last function is:

    Your question isn't very clear on what you are trying to achieve.
    I'm assuming that you're talking about capturing a user pressing the F4 button in your LabVIEW application to retry the last action/command. I think this would be possible using an event structure to detect the F4 key being pressed and using this to prompt your application to do that action/command again.
    The event structure can be set up as follows:
    How you actually implement this will depend on the architecture of your application - you'll need to remember the last action that was performed (perhaps on a shift register).
    If you're talking about in the LabVIEW development environment itself - I don't think this is possible. You could suggest it on the LabVIEW ideas exchange though!

    You can write something into a Form parameter in the POST-INSERT/UPDATE/Query triggers.
    Then you can check the value of this parameter when needed.

    9/21/13: Alarm:  Setting the alarm is rather akward, the numbers are too rigid, fine, and small.  I feel the numbers being larger would be more user friendly.
    9/21/13 Calendar:  Previous version was superior in certain ways.  Shading out a part of the day which you typically don't use (ex:  1am-5:30am) would be great.  I feel lost in this update, it does not feel refined.  Please allow me to send an appointment through imessage already as well!

  • SGD 4.5 Desktop Functionality Issue

    I've come across an odd functionality issue on SGD 4.5. When I start "My Desktop" everything works fine. However if I start a new Full JDS Desktop session on another server, the JDS session doesn't appear to load correctly. New windows automatically open in the upper left corner and can't be moved. If I close both JDS Desktop sessions and open the other system first, then "My Desktop" session doesn't open windows properly. Has anyone come across this? It's not to big of deal right now, but it might become more of an issue when more users start using our SGD instance.

    The script for installing the users during installation when the users are not created is included some version before the 4.50.907
    The SGD version here is only 1 minor version before the latest release.

    If I look into the rpm (for Linux install) I don't see a check for a valid shell. It does however try to 'su' into those accounts. I might be wrong in this one.
    Can you manually use 'su ttaserv' and 'su ttasys' without any problem? Do these users have a valid home-dir for example.

    I am using ORACLE DATABASE 11g. I am facing a very strange problem. I have a string in an variable when i print that sting i can see that the string is correct but after applying a replace function on to it when i print the string the string is incomplete.
    Details are as follows :- In the code i am getting some DDL statement (alter table ) , this is the difference between the 2 compared tables. Then I want to place ';' at the last of each line and keyword 'BEGIN' at start and 'END;' at the last. I tried to do this with replace() function but the output string is shot than needed.     Here you can see that the sting in after replace in actually short and will give error when trying to execute. As you can also see that length of new string is more i.e. 1862 but its reading and writing only 1830 characters => which is the actual size of original string.
    Variable datatypes used varchar2(32767) and CLOB. Faced issues in both the cases.
    Its very obvious that when i am trying to replace a few things then I can add a bit more to it. Why is it only reading or writing only the 1830 character string not the whole 1862 string ??? How can i get the size as 1862 but not the whole string ??
    Let me know any solution on this ...
