Layout in FB60

How to save a layout for colums and fields in FB60. There is a configuration icon on the FB60 screen, but it tells you which fields to hide. What if certain columns and fields need to be arranged in a different layout , how to do that.

SHD0 will not work for transactional data transaction codes. Only for master data relevant transaction codes or reporting transaction codes you go ahead with SHD0 and create a transaction variant. By this you can make hide, display and required entries of certain fields.
I have not seen any drag and drop facility in FB60. You cannot change the layout in FB60. This is not FBL3N, where you can change your own layout. FB60 is a standard screen and the layout cannot be changed.
However, you change the user specific settings in FB00. But, these are user specific but NOT global. It only gives you options like Hide Special GL Indicator, Propose Company Code etc. for user convenience.

    We have following requirement from client.  Your advices highly appreciated here...
    At T.Code FB60 "Enter Vendor Invoice......"  SAP standard screen provides Vendor details section at top and GL line items section at bottom as a table.  I know how to modify fields at GL line item table with the help of "Screen and Transaction variants".  
    However,  at Vendor details screen tabs.  there are total 5 tabs available for different information (like Basic data, Payment, Details, Tax and Notes).  At present client uses very few feilds of all these tabs.. like  5 feilds at Basic data,  2 feilds at Payment tab, one feild at Details tab  and so..
    User need to go to each tab separately to enter these feilds and there are many other feilds where users never enter data.
    Client requirement is make invisible all un-used feilds and provide all feilds which are frequently used at one screen instead of seperate tabs.
    We have knowledge that this requirement can be met with the help of "GUIXT " product.  but,  client is not ready to use GUIXT  product here.
    Can you help me, is there any other way of meeting this requirement ?

  • FB60 Layout change

    Folks,
    I have a requirement that asks me to change the order of the 
    columns that appear at the bottom portion of FB60.
    1. Need to suppress(hide) some of the columns.
    2. Change the order in which they appear.
    If possible, please do give a detailed way of doing it.

    Venkat you can do this by :
    in fb60 go to edit screen variant-> create screen variant ( select the variant which you are currently using)you can go to this directly by tcode shd0.
    over here enter the tcode (fb60) selcet your screen variant and click on edit.
    In the next screen you can hide and change your screen layout

  • FB60 screen change layout different between DEV and PRD

    Hi,
    I'm having problem with transaction FB60. When i try to change the layout in PRD, in screen Edit System Setting, some of the field showing 0 length. For example in WBS element field, in DEV show length 24 but PRD show length 0. I try to compare the version but it is same (program & table structure - ACGL_ITEM). When I debug the program, found out that it will get the structure from sap internal c program call 'AB_GET_CX_DATA'. So, maybe this program version are different between DEV and PRD.
    Anybody knows what is the cause of this problem? Or maybe somebody can tell me how to check sap internal c program.

    Yes. FB60 is Enter Vendor Invoice. In this screen you can see a table with column such as GL Acct, Debit/Credit, Amount in DC, Cost Center and others. You can add or remove some of the field using Table Setting and create Screen Variant. My problem is, the length of WBS Element and Profit Center field is 0. How to change the length.
    I already searched in forum but I only found how to create screen variant.

    For Commitment Item - I have created one DUMMY Commitment Item with Financial Transaction = 50 (Clearing). (TCode-FMCIA)
    I like to assign this DUMMY Commitment Item where I don't require the Fund Management Activities like Budget. I am doing this b'cos commitment item is mandagory in Fund Management.
    I have assigned Commitment Item = DUMMY to all remaining GL Account in FS00.
    When I am posting transaction with FB01 then it has no problem b'cos the field Commitment Item is visible and optional and "DUMMY" is automatically assign to the commitment item. But in case of FB50, FB60, FB70, MIRO etc where the Commitment Item field is not visible I am getting the error "No Commitment Item entered".
    To avoid this error, to me there are two options
    1. I can assign the "DUMMY" commitment item to each GL Account under FMDERIVE
    2. To assign to "DUMMY" commitment item to each GL Account in FS00 and make the commitment item visible and optional in all T-Code like FB50, FB60, FB70, MIRO etc. But in this case I am not able to make the commitment item visible and optional during posting of the transactions.
    Could you please help with your expereise?
    Which option is more logical in this case?

  • Charging service tax on part amount in FB60

    Hi
    I am booking one vendor invoice. Invoice amount is Rs.1060 (Rs. 660 is some printing stationary material (including VAT Rs.60) and Rs.400 is service charge.
    Now i have to charge this entire bill to printing stationary GL account. and Rs. 60 to VAT receivable account.
    I went to FB60. Entered details and ticked on "Calculate tax" but i did not selected VAT Tax code in header level.
    I went to line item (for entering expense GL account). I selected Printing Stationary GL account, entered Rs.1060 and selected 10% VAT Tax code.
    But the problem is that VAT is getting calculated on entire bill. One solution i thought that i will enter two line items (i.e 660 and 400). But user is not ready to accept this.
    I tried changing layout for for "tax" tab for entering base amount. But its not comming. Is there anyway where i can enter base amount for Tax calculation.

    I was talking of VAT Returns. if you enter With Holding Tax Amount manually, there is no issue. I was talking of the std report for VAT returns RFUMSV00. This report uses the Function Module CALCULATE_TAX_FROM_NET_AMOUNT to display tax amounts and if you enter anything manually, which is not calculated by the system, the same will not be displayed and the returns will not be correct.

  • Name and city not defined in FB60 for one time account

    Hello Guru's ,
    We are on SAP ECC 6.0 and I have defined a one time vendor in the standard account group CPD One-time vend.(int.no.assgnmt).
    In the screen layout for that account group I have the address details for name1 and postal code, city defined as optional entry. In the master data of the one time vendor I have however created an address so the address details like Name1 and City are filled.
    When I use MIRO for creating an invoice the address details are filled for the one time vendor, but when I use FB60 it prompts the following message: 'Enter a name and city for one time postings'.
    Why are the address details not filled in transaction FB60 while the have been filled in MIRO ? And why can I not post the Invoice as I have defined the name and address as optional entry in OBD3 ?

    Yes I understand that. The problem is however that we have invoice scanning and when the invoice is scanned it comes into the rework fase where we enter the one Time vendor. In a normal situation the invoice wille be created and parked (status completion) after which AP clerks can either enter a Purchase order or not. With the One Time vendor I don't get an invoice document as it prompting for the Name and City. Becaue of that I entered the name and city in the vendor master data and set them to optional in OBD3. Nonetheless it still gives me the error. Also in transaction FB60. So if it doesn't work with making fields optional in the vndor accoutn group and entering the requested data in the vendor master data I probably must set the error message some where into a waring ? Funny thing is that it does work for the MIRO transaction as I am not getting the error there.

  • FB60 - Credit Note: Baseline Date Determination

    Hi  Experts
    At present I have an AP function who use FB60 to post manual Invoices and Credits to Vendors. The issue is that when a Credit is selected (Doc Type: KG) the baseline date and the subsequent due date are not being determined and have to be entered manually. The system will not let the user proceed until the data has been entered.
    If FB65 credit (Doc Type: KG) is processed using the same data (Vendor, Date, Payment Terms etc) as used in FB60 the system determines the baseline date and due date.
    I have also compared back to the legacy SAP 4.6 System and this functions correctly, the baseline and due dates are determined automatically.
    I have worked through all of the standard configuration: Doc Types, Screen Layouts, Transaction Variants, Posting Keys, Default Values, Field Status Groups etc and cannot find the issue.
    Please advise if you have any ideas or have experienced the same. My next step is to request one of the programmers to take a look.

    This is intended design from SAP.

    Because a credit memo is usually considered to be "due immediately", there is no indication which date the system should propose as a baseline date for payment (document/posting/CPU/other date?) if the terms of payment key (field ZTERM initial) is missing. For this reason, the user must set the required baseline date for payment manually.
    To avoid this inconvenience, you have the following options:
    1. Instead of the procedure described above, you use transaction FB65 (FB75) that is provided for this business transaction, because this is configured accordingly.
    2. In the business partner master data, you define a terms of payment key for credit memos (field LFB1-GUZTE or KNB1-GUZTE). This can be used to give the program a default value for the baseline date for payment.
    3. In your processing options (in FB60 You will find a button called EDITING OPTION in the top left), you set the #Always Use Payment Base Deadline# indicator (field RFOPTE-XZFBO='X').

  • Posting through FB60

    Hi,
    During making posting in FB60, when I  enter date, amount or account number, I usually get the the suggestion list of the last entries from system. I can take any entry from that list and no need to enter them manually. I donu2019t know what happened and I don't get that list any more.

    Make sure the history wasn't turned off..
    Go to Customize Local Layout at the top of the screen
    Then click options
    Go to the folder that says Local Data and expand it and click on u201CHistoryu201D and make sure it is set to u201COnu201D and click Apply and OK.
    If it is on and no changes have been made then it is the same problem we just encountered in which we had to re-install the latest GUI 720 and the issue was resolved.

    My requirement is to make mandatory in MIRO and FB60  field: BUPLA-business place and field:SECCO-Section Code.
    I have done validation through GGB0 . i am facing problem
    prerequisite: syst-tcode = 'FB60'
    check bseg-bupla   <>   ' ' and  bseg-secco <> ' '
    message 'Enter business place and business section.
    This is working fine when bseg-bupla  and  bseg-secco  is not entered .
    but when user enter value in both fields bseg-bupla  and  bseg-secco .
    in table bseg-bupla and bseg-secco both become blank.
    Is ther any other method to achieve this

    Have you tried it with customizing tools? I understand that you can achieve it. I think that you want to populate these fields if you have a field status group for this account (check it in FS00). You can create a field status group for this account and do mandatory this fields. If you have doubts, search the help of a FI consultant.
    If you see the help for this field:
    Field status group
        Determines the screen layout for document entry.
        Fields can have the following statuses:
        o   Optional entry - you can enter data in the field
        o   Mandatory entry - you must enter data in the field
        o   Suppressed - the field does not appear on the screen
    You can mantain it with tcode OBC4.

    Requirements: Upon FB60 simulation, Display Overview Screen to Add new column of Internal Order Description to the Line Item ALV grid display.
    Environment: ECC5, Program in scope: SAPMF05A, Tcode in scope: FB60
    Changes done (not in sequential order):
    1) added new field AUFTXT to CI_COBL. ALV layout structure BSEG_ALV has new field AUFTXT after changes to CI_COBL.
    Debugging result:
    1) subroutine alvbseg_data_init populates alv data to display. All relevant structures used include BSEG, BSEGL, BSEZ, BSEU.
    2) alv data table GT_BSEG_OVERVIEW gets data from BSEG and BSEGL. BSEGL can populate additional information like Internal Order description.
    3) However, in the SAPMF05A program, there is no exit or enhancement point since its not ECC6.
    Please give some advice how to solve this other than modification to the program SAPMF05A or adding the internal order description field to table BSEG? I had checked BTE function 1120, 1140 and 1650, they are not triggered upon Simulation of Overview display.

    HI,
    I think you can adjust the column width and save it as Screen Variant in the SHD0.
    When you create a screen variant for the MIRO, adjust your column width and position than save it the variant. Once you save and activate the variant, it will appear in the Layout dropdown box on MIRO.

    Please check in spro with ur functional consultant to explore if the field can be made not mandatory..

    From which t-code are these smartform layouts seen?
    Is it from same t-codes .
    I came to know that it is seen in t-code: FBL1N.

  • Mass layout change

    Hi
    I want to change the layout in TC FB60 so that the fields are arranged in a specific order. This change is supposed to be available for all the user in the system.
    I have changed the layout and it is working perfectly for me, and when i press "Activate", the system responds with "Settings throughout the system have be activated". And from what i can read in the short info this should be sufficent, and all the users should be able to choose variant.
    But that is not the case..
    Anyone that can tell what the problem is, and how i can solve it?
