Line of Credit

I m doing line of credit in Bill of Exchange.
My Scenario is following
FB70 Customer invoice   Customer A/c Dr
                                        To Sales
F-36 Pmt                        BOE A/c  Dr
                                        To Customer
F-33  Discounting            Bank A/c  Dr
                                         To Disc. liab.A/c
Now at this stage i recvd the amt from my Customer also.
Then at this stage i have rcvd amt frm bank as well as customer also.
Now what is entries should be passed ?
Shall i pass F-20?

As I can understand:
1.You have discounted the BOE with a Bank and received payment from the Bank.
2.You have also received payment from the customer.
Action required:
1. Reverse the BOE through F-20 as it is not required any more.
2. Pass an entry for F-33 reversal also
3. Post incoming payment through F-28.This will clear the customer balance from FB70.

  • Sub-line of credit in case of facilities

    Hi,
I have created various lines of credit in TCL1 such as
    1.Funded
    2.Non-Funded, etc
I created a facility using 56B. At the structure tab, there is an option 'Other lines'. Here, I want to have the Prim.line of credit as the Main line of credit and the sub-lines of credit as
    Funded and Non-funded.
However when I try to do that I get an error FTR_FC012:Main Line of credit cannot be selected.
    Please guide.

    Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion. However, there is a problem.
Let me give u an example for better understanding of the requirement.
eg. Suppose there is a facility sanctioned for $1 million out of which $0.60m is funded and $0.40m is non-funded.
    So the limits would be:
Main line of credit/prim.line of credit =$1m. The bifurcation of which would be Subline : funded=$0.60m & non-funded= $0.40m
When I draw $0.30m against Funded sub-line, my drawings should show $0.30m against Funded as well as main(prim.) line of credit.
However, currently I am getting drawings only against Funded and not against the main line of credit.
In other words, it is treating the main line of credit as independent of the subline.

    Hi,
This you can do it in two ways:
    1. Make three header under top level....one Product A, 2nd Product B ( as Billing element) and third as Common expense ( only cost). Now 1st & 2 nd WBS, you have to have sales order linking with individual lint item, for third you will accumulate all the common expense till the period end then make a reposting of the same in desired proportion to both products WBS hierarchy
(This is if you want to have a track on the common expense as well.......like planning, budgeting & control)
After this reposting, run RA for individual billing element and hence you will all the complement detailing and control over Revenue and expense with respect to Product A and Product B individually.
    2. If you don't want to maintain that kind of detailing the common expense and keep track of it through project, then have cost centers accordingly and make an assesment/ distribution with respect to expenses accumulated at those cost centers for the period to the respective WBS under each product. Then execute the period end processes for the project.
    Or
You can try with have two more line items in the costing sheet as an overhead against common expenses with respect each product.
I hope this should help you.

  • Draw negative lines to credit notes

There are business cases for using negative lines on marketing documents. In most documents these are now, or are soon to be, working, but there appears to be no plan to allow these to be drawn to credit notes?
If this is not possible, it would be good to at least allow the draw document wizard to open allowing  the positive lines to be drawn, leaving the negative ones behind. This will allow the item costs to remain accurate and remove the possibility for error in translation.

    Mrs. Jamieson,
Negative lines in Credit note will be available in 8.8 release.

  • Personal line of credit help

Long story semi-short...  700-740 fico depending on which one....  I've had lots of different car loans, and a mortgage but only 2 revolving lines (both only $250) in the past 7 years.  I applied and got approved through psecu for there ploc/visa combo for $20,000.  I do a lot of car loans through them so I figured it wouldn't be a problem, but i'm probably on the edge for other banks ploc that I don't have that history with.  What I want to do is open another personal loc, pull the money off the second line of credit, then balance transfer that to psecu to take advantage of the 2.99 transfer promo rate instead of 9.99%.  My question is, since before I got approved for this 2 days ago I really didn't have any revolving credit worth speaking of, am I better off applying for another one now before this one shows up on my credit or waiting for it to show up on my credit that I have 2 lines with $20,000 limits? I just remember once before when building my credit I started with low limit cards and the next offers would just keep getting gradually higher than the last building off each other.....  So is it better for a bank to know that another bank has trusted me with 2  $20,000 limits or better to look like I don't have any at all? I hope this makes sense   after thinking about this a minute i guess the second line woudnt HAVE to be a PLOC and could be a cc since im just going to transfer it anyway, but i like the idea of PLOC's and the lower interest rates than credit cards.  Any advise on PLOC's that I might be able to qualify for?

Until I applied for my Discover card last year, the only things on my credit report were student loans and maybe a closed JCPenney card that waas closed in 2012. I was approved with similar scores to yours. I think it just depends on the bank's criteria for approving credit cards. Some want to see a history of responsible credit use, others seem to look at scores alone. I know that probably doesn't help, but it's my 2 cents.

  • Bank account lines of credit

Everytime I sign into my bank account it asks me if I want a credit line in order to avoid bounced checks etc. If I check yes to this will it result in a HP? Also, does this show up on my credit report as a line of credit similiar to a credit card?

Also, does this show up on my credit report as a line of credit similiar to a credit card?Everyone needs to stop saying it won't result in a HP . It depends on the bank.  Capital One 360 does a HP when applying for an overdraft LOC, and every time you request a CLI. Their Overdraft LOC does not show up on credit reports.   i think when op stated that this is actually just permission to pay transactions that will make you negative vs an overdraft line means it won't be a hp because it's not an actual account, it's the disclosure they are required for you to agree before charging you $34 for using your debit card when your checking account is empty. If I miss understood that, then im confused again!Yea, I think this is what it is. Just the disclosure and authorization to pay an overdraft and zing me with the interest. You guys are confusing each other - it's not the same thing. Opting into overdraft protection will result in an exorbiant $25+ one-time fee per transaction. Opting into an overdraft line of credit is when they'll charge you interest for everything that takes you below a $0 balance.  Overdraft protection isn't a line of credit, so no HP or SP.Overdraft line of credit could be a HP or SP. Of course now when I log in it doesn't pop up when it has been popping up for the last several months. I can't find the wording they used. I know for a fact what I had with citibank was an overdraft line of credit in the sense that I was charged interest. I can't remember the wording that my main bank used. Maybe the offer will pop up against later and I can cut and paste it.

  • Applying for multiple lines of credit at once

Hi all, So I have fair credit (667TU/669Equifax) with ~5 years repayment history on 15 open student loan accounts (ugh), all in good standing with no bad marks on my report.  I want to refinance a few of my high-interest private loans, and before that I'm planning to boost my credit by opening up a credit card, my very first in my 27 years.  I have an irrational fear of credit cards, as I've seen too many family and friends abuse them and get into a lot of trouble, so it's taken a lot to work myself up to get this far.  I'm not sure which would be the best card for me to apply for, and I would be very grateful for any suggestions, but that is not why I am making this post.  My s/o approached me last night with a proposition to get a new livingroom couch that we really do need.  Apparently Bob's Furniture is having some amazing 4th of July sale that she wants to take advantage of, so she wants me to try to apply for a line of credit with the store in order to finance the purchase (since I don't already have a credit card, and she has literally NO credit whatsoever).  I have no doubt that the balance could be paid off within a few months, or even by the end of this month.   Would this be a good idea for me, keeping in mind my ultimate goal of getting a credit card and keeping a low balance on it in order to boost my score?  Would my application even be approved?  And if so, would it negatively affect my score or otherwise affect my chances of applying for another credit card at around the same time?  If she tried to apply instead of me, would she be denied (I'm thinking probably, she applied for a Kohl's card earlier in the year to get the discount on her purchase and was immediately denied)?  Basically, should I go through with this, advise her to try to open a line of credit herself and start rebuilding her own credit, or tell her to wait until they have another sale and I've had time to apply for a proper credit card?

I would apply for a card that you can use long term. You will get a score boost when you open a credit card, and it will further help build your profile and score. Unless the sale is insane, I would skip the store card and do some research on what credit card would work best for you (rewards structure). Are those scores FICO scores, or FAKO scores (CreditKarma etc)?

  • NFCU Line of Credit Application

I am not sure this is the right place for this post as it is not a credit card application, so I aologize if I posted incorrectly. Yesterday I logged into my NFCU account & saw the 'Apply for Checking Line of Credit' link & finally decided to click on it.I then completed the Overdraft Line of Credit Application and received the following response:Your application is under review.
    • Typically, a decision is made in less than 1 hour.
    • You will be contacted shortly.
    • In most cases, contact will be made via email or text. That was yesterday around lunch. Today, I logged in and selected 'Check Status of Pending Loan Application' and the status still shows "Review in Process".I take it that's not a good sign. I have received no email or anything about the application.

i app about 2weeks ago, and mine said the same if you put in a cell phone number or email they will text/email you when your approved but the status may say under review. after being approved mine no longer said congrats your credit limit is____. i called and a rep told me for what amount. hope this helps good luck

  • Unused Limit Fee for Non-revolving Lines of Credit Calculation

    Hello, gurus!
Question is about non-revolving lines of credit. In line's master we specify some additional flows besides limit, period of validity.
So when we define unused limit fee parameters in non-revolving line of credit master, the system automatically generates financial flows for this fee calculating as
(Initial Credit line Limit - Tranche Amounts + Tranche Repayments)InterestDays of calculating/Days in the Year.
Which is incorrect for Non-revolving lines which should not take in concern Tranche Repayments.
So we need to either ignore repayment flows or change calculation method for Unused Limit Fee flows.
We tried to fix this both with SPRO and ABAP but it didn't help.
Would be great to hear any ideas!
    Thanks.

  • $150 port in credit x2 lines no credit received

I can tell from other posts that many others are just as frustrated as I am. I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon on December 29th and was in luck, or so I thought, that they were offering a port in credit of $150 per smart phone. My husband and I made the switch, in part due to this credit promise. Fast forward four months and not credit. I have called each month, and have been told that it can take 2 billing cycles, so I waited. Last month was told that the credit was coming and they were so sorry for the delay and that I could expect it on the next and she was preparing a "ticket" to get this credited for me. I get this months statement and still no credit. So I reach out again, and am now, for the 1st time of my 4 previous calls, told that I was not eligible unless I switched to an Edge plan. This is simply not true and nothing on the internet really dies, so even researching on my own a quick search indicates, that the promotion was for a switch to a subsidized 2 year plan or an Edge plan. The suggested recourse was to go back into the Verizon store I purchased from as they may have a hard file on my purchase with more detail than can be accessed by customer service. Has anyone been successful in receiving the promised credit, and if so, what worked? Thanks!

This is the advertised promotion starting 12/29
More Data and Port in credits for Verizon Customers
IT does require a new line of service ported from another carrier, with the purchase of a phone on Edge.

  • $10/month/line loyalty credit problem

In April I called VZW asking if there was any better plan or something they could do for longtime customers in light of the better deals that other carriers were offering.  I was told that I could get $10 per month/phone on each non upgradeable line.  At the time, that was two lines for me.  Shortly thereafter I upgraded my phone, so we had three lines that should get $10 off each month, for a total of $30.  This was to be for one year's time.  Since that time, I have only received the $10 off of my line, four times. I have called so many times asking for help and all they came up with is that the other two line's discounts were cancelled out when we had to temporarily add more data to avoid overage charges.  I do not understand how this would cancel out any discounts, but that is what I was told.  I have also been assured several times that it was being looked into and that the discounts should start again. I am beyond frustrated with how this has been handled.  I have tried, without success, to get the email or phone number of someone in corporate.  No one will give me this information.  Has anyone had something similar with their account and has it been resolved?  I stayed with Verizon because I felt like I was at least getting something in consideration for longtime affiliation.  I am going to check out other carriers and see what my options are.

I recently had this happen where they promised credits that never appeared. They used them as a way to offset upgrading my plan and device. Now my bill went way up and no loyalty credits.

  • Select  Credit Memo Lines in Add Mode

    Hello Experts,
I need help on selecting credit memo lines in add mode. Here is my stored prcedure:
    Declare @IN_DocEntry     nvarchar(50)

    Declare @DE Int
    select @DE = cast(@IN_DocEntry as int)
    Create Table #CreditMemo
                                                 (DocEntry int not null
                                                 ,LineNum int not null
                                                 ,TargetType int null

    select DocEntry,LineNum,TargetType,BaseRef,BaseEntry,BaseLine,LineStatus,LineTotal from RPC1 where DocEntry=@DE
    end
    select * from #CreditMemo
    For Instance:
    1) say i am in Add Mode on Credit Memo
    2) Copied three Invoices on to Credt Memo ( each invoice contains 3 lines, hence 9 lines on Credit Note)
    3) Now i would like to select 9 lines which are on Credit Memo and insert into temp table( Note : I haven't added the CM )
When executed the above stored procedure in add mode i get empty list. Please advise me.
