Link in JTable entries

Hi,
I have coded a very basic table (JTable) that shows some rows.
Each row contains Employee# which I want to show as a "Link" which should be underlined and if it is clicked, a Window should be popped up showing more details of the entry.
How to make Employee# values underlined as links and how to capture Click event in the table?
Any help is appreciated.

Link between Service Entry Sheet and Material Document

Hi
I am busy with developing a report where i am required to find the link between the Material Document and Service Entry Sheet.
I am aware that on the Purchase Order Data tab of the Material Document has the service entry sheet number and line item. However the problem I have picked up here is in the event I create a Service Entry Sheet with a service in line 1 and for some reason Delete that Line and then capture the service again, it is saved in table ESLL as line 2. This is correct. However when I have a look at the material document, it references it as line 1 of the service entry. Is there any way to get this in sync?

This table does show the service entry sheet number and line item however the line item does not correspond with the line item on the service entry sheet.
Eg.
I create a service entry sheet where I capture a service in line 1.
I delete Line 1
I recapture on line 2.
Post Service Entry
The Material Doc reference document is the service entry however the line item for the reference is 1.
I need to try and link the line items

Adding a "forward to friend" link on blog entries?

I've setup a blog for myself using iWeb '08. Is it possible to add a link that readers can use to forward my blog entries to their friends?
Ideally, this feature would forward both my blog entry and a link back to my site, which is similar to the forwarding feature on the nytimes.com website.

I've discovered that feedburner has a service called feedflare that will insert "Email Article" links into your blog. It seems to be what I'm looking for, but I can't make it work. I'd be quite grateful to anyone who can point me in the right direction.
I'm supposed to enter in the following code into every blog entry:

I tried doing this and replaced "myfeeduri" with "mydomain". I am also supposed to replace "POST-URL-HERE" with "your blog’s template tags to dynamically insert the URL of the current post. " What would that tag be for an iWeb created blog?
I pasted the code into iWeb using the HTML snippet function thinking that the links would at least show up when I published to my site (even though they wouldn't be working) but there was nothing there.

Address Book...LINKS between Contacts Entries

I'm not sure if this is a question or a suggestion, but I'd sure like to link contact names together and then leap from from one entry to another .
There's an entry field for "related names." Is there a way link those names to their own
entry cards?

Glossary hotspots not linking for some entries

Many multiple word glossary entries have similar words, such
as Fix MICR I and Fix MICR II.
When I create a glossary entry for each of these, then use
the hotspot wizard, I am unable to select the term because it is
not displayed (even though I selected the correct folder, status,
glossary, term - All).
This, however, is not consistent. For other entries, such as
Review Check: Date, Review Check: Signature, etc. it works
perfectly.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Link iview - organise entries

I have created a km link iview and it's working fine. However I need to remove the 'organize entries' option that appears on it. I know the option to remove is in the layout set but I can't find it when I open the set ! Any clues please.

Hi Phil,
Try to restrict permissions for the "EveryOne" group. Just give the "EveryOne"group only Read permissions to the KM folder where your Links are stored.

Recreate a blog page to link with existing entries

My hard disk crashed a while ago, and although it was replaced under Applecare, some of my data was either corrupted at the time or subsequently and hasn’t copied back successfully. The problem I’m stuck with now is that I can’t get iWeb working again properly, and I need to find out if there’s a way to recreate a blog page that will link to the existing series of entries which show up ok in the edit entries area, just not on the lead blog page itself.
Here’s more detailed info:
I've copied the whole Site folder from my iDisk, but can't seem to force iWeb to read from it. I can find the Domain file in my user library, and tried removing it to make iWeb create a new one, which I hoped it would rebuild from the downloaded Site folder which I swapped in for the old one that appears to be corrupt.
However, iWeb is a stubborn little so-and-so, and I just can't get two key parts of the site I've built within it to now see their links. The main opening page of the website is a blog, and that is completely blank, even though the series of entries are present. The archive for this section is also blank. This is my biggest worry, as if I try to publish and the index page is blank then there's no way to navigate to the rest of the site.
The second part that's playing up is also a blog, called Soul Blog, and for this one the blog page is partially there, but missing the list of entries (you can see the header section and a few Google ads down the right hand side). Again the entries are present, although several are missing their media (I think that may be a few files that were lost in trying to reinstall my data onto the replacement hard drive when mine crashed). On this one the archive seems fine.
I've added here a series of screenshots to illustrate what I mean, and whereas with a normal page I could just rebuild it, I can't figure out how to make a blog page and tell it to access all of the existing entries the old one linked to. So if any of you have any idea on how to go about this I'd be eternally grateful! Here are the screenshots, and many thanks for any help.

iWeb doesn't have an integrated way of doing this (perhaps in iWeb 2.0?), so you'll have to do post-publishing editing. One approach is to use a Flash-based viewer...

Bear in mind that with such "viewers" you're not going to have complete flexibility on the placement of your thumbnails. For absolute control of thumbnail positioning and behaviour you would need, for example, a JavaScript script. How do figure out which jtable entry is clicked/doubleclicked on

im using a jtable to display the return of items in an ldap directory. how does one know which item is clicked/doubleclicked on in order to, for instance, bring up another screen with only that info on it. and is there a way to now allow the table entries to be edited. when i doubleclick on the table currently, it lets me edit the cell.

Then when you use a MouseListener the double click event will be passed to the MouseListener and not intercepted by the JTable.
You can use the getSelectedRow/Column methods of JTable.

How to link the variable entry with the planning function execution

I am new to IP , we have a requirement where the user enters the value 2008 for a variable year. Then we are supposed to copy the same combinations for the next four years against which the user will be able to input the key figure values. But i have only 2008 data in the cube, so i need to generate new records for the same characteristic combinations as present for 2008 for the next four years. I am planning to use a copy function for this but how can i trigger this planning function once the user enters the value for the year variable. I want the planning function to get executed once the user clicks OK after the variable entry. Request your valuable inputs on the same.

for this u have an option of executing the planning sequence when the web template loads ie. after the variable screen.
open the WAD.
go to the properties of Web Template web item. Under the section standard action of the webtemplate, we have a n option to include planning functions under action before rendering.
If u include your planning sequence in this this will get executed every time the layout loads.
guess this is usefull to u.

If I create Abbreviated Dial entries for my desktop 7940 phone is there are way they can also be used with my IP Communicator without recreating them for that device. In other words can you synch these entries between devices?

Linking between Material GR and Service Entry Sheets

Hi!,
We have two separate Quantity Contracts. One for supply of Material X and another for transportation service for transporting material X.
Now the transportation vendor shall have to be paid as per the exact Goods Receipts quantity done for Material X.
How do we link the Service Entry Sheet corresponding to the Transportation Service Contract with the corresponding GR for the Material X contract.
Thereafter we also need this add the freight charges paid to the transport vendor through Invoice Verification as unplanned delivery cost in the Material X, Invoice Verification.
Please advise.

You can't mix the service and GR together....rather create the one contract for material and transportation service and use that contract e.g. create contract
line item 10 is material
line item 20 is service
Use this contract
OR...Create the PO for material and add transportation service as a freight condition then you don't need to worry the quantity dependent chrages becasue system will calculate based on the quantity ( use Freight condition is based on the quantity)

Entries in Blogs should not contain links

If you want to save some time: do not include links to other sites in a blog entry. It costed me most of my afternoon to figure out that three links I had made in the text of a new Blog entry caused page errors. First I thought the picture was too big; then I thought the text was too long. Finally I narrowed iWeb 08 problem down: links in blog entries create errors.

This remains the mystery I raised in yesterday's post: All publishing is not equal with iWeb 08.

I don't get page errors, but my entire blog post turns into a link. They work fine in iWeb, they work fine when your viewing the blog as a whole, but when you click "read more" to view the individual entry, the entire thing is a link, which makes it impossible to have multiple links in a post.

Bug in blog summary breaks links from entries (CGI encoding?)

I'm using iWeb'08 2.0.4 (830A43). I use a lot of links in my blog entries. The links in the entries work however the blog summary misinterprets some links and breaks them.
For example the link in my blog entry that works is:
http://yaleglobal.yale.edu/display.article?id=12689
But the blog summary has the link as
http://yaleglobal.yale.edu/display.article%253Fid%253D12689
It looks like the blog summary translate ? to %253F and = to %253D.

Problems with iWeb's blog are a recurring theme on these forums — so you may soon be back with a different iWeb blog problem: Lost all blog entries or all comments or unable to publish, etc. And whether iWeb's blog works well or not is of little concern to Apple as it's only a tiny part of their software repertoire. Jornal Entry link the Payment by DIAPI

I need to creating a payments using the DI API. I now wish to link the payment to the jornal Entry but cannot figure this one out. Can anyone give me a pointer in the right direction? Can anyone send me a sample code ?

Hi Evandro,
I don't really know what you're trying to do. If what you want to do is that when creating the payment it posts journal entry, it's done automatically, so there's nothing to do then. If what you want is link a journal entry as you link and invoice you just select the right type o document. Like
oPayment.Invoices.InvoiceType = SAPbobsCOM.BoRcptInvTypes.it_JournalEntry
oPayment.Invoices.DocEntry = TransId
oPayment.Invoices.SumApplied = JournalEntryTotal
I haven't tried it, but try to fill the same fields you do when using the SBO application.
