Link URL containing feed: is not displayed correctly in the status bar

When a link contains feed: in the URL, it is not displayed correctly in the status bar.
The actual URL is
a href="feed:http://www.....com/feed/"
but the URL shown in the status bar is
feed://http//www.....com/feed/
IE8 shows the correct URL in the status bar. Not sure if this is a problem, but thought I would report it.

Such a feed works for me even if it is displayed differently then you expect on the status bar.

Documents and spreadsheets not displaying correctly on the task bar

When I open a series of documents or excel spreadsheets, quite often they will appear as blanks on the task bar and I have to right click - restore to be able to see a preview or select them for editing. If I do normal left click on the document nothing
happens and they stay blank.
If I could get a picture of my desktop loaded it would show the cursor on MS word on the taskbar then above the taskbar a preview of the 4 sessions - 2 have documents you can see and 2 are blank. THe first 2 I had to right click restore to be able to see.
THe other 2 will be blank until I right click then restore

Small caps not displaying correctly in the ePub file

Hello All,
I am using cs5.5 to generate ePub file, and I found that small caps contents not displaying correctly in the generated ePub file even the CSS looks correct. Please check and confirm, if anyone faced this issue? Also other formatting components are looks fine in the ePub file.

@Jongware/Bob, thanks for your responses, I checked the ePub output using 'Adobe Digital Editions', and getting the same issue in 'Calibre', but in 'Sigil', it looks fine.
In CSS it has been declared like below:
span.SmallCaps {
font-variant : small-caps;
Here 'SmallCaps' is the character style applied for the 'small caps' contents.

Firefox displays "Stopped" in the status bar; stops all the tabs and does not do anything!

Firefox displays "Stopped" in the status bar after running for a few minutes. It does not do anything on the page unless it is killed by opening the task manager. Sometimes I even have to restart the computer. And if that also doesn't work that shut down using the power button. Others have reported similar issues too.

Report Links in OBIEE 11g Dashboard not displayed correctly

In the Dashboard pages the Report Links for Export are not displayed correctly .
Instead of showing the multiple options for export/download it shows just text.

It can be done by doing below steps.
1) before doing this take a backup of instanconfig.xml file and do the below changes...
You can configure various options that change the way that right-click interactions are handled in views for an analysis at runtime. The elements in the instanceconfig.xml file specify the default settings for a new or upgraded analysis. You can edit the properties of an analysis in Presentation Services to modify how the analysis handles right-click interactions in views.
Before you begin this procedure, ensure that you are familiar with the information in Section 3.4, "Using a Text Editor to Update Configuration Settings."
To manually configure for interactions in views:
2) C:\Oracle\Middleware\instances\instance1\config\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\instanceconfig.xml
Open the instanceconfig.xml file for editing,

Include the elements and their ancestor elements as appropriate, as shown in the following example:

Hierarchy variable inpu help not displayed correctly in the portal

Hi ,
I have a problem when trying to select Hierarchy in the variable selection screen hierarchy is not being displayed
correctly in the portal/browser . When running the same report in BEX Analyser and in RSRT with HTML option the
hierarchy displays correctly in the variable selection screen .
In Portal Var selection screen Hierarchy is displayed side by side ie horizontally not level by level.
Please help.

Enabled system information but can not see it in the status bar

I can not see the system information in the status bar even though it is enabled. I currently use B1 2007 SP0. How would I go anout fixing that.

Is this issue across all client or one machine. If this is on only one client. Try re-installing the SBO- client.
Make sure after several attempts still you are not able to see the systeminformation.
I'm sure SAP will have not missed this in any patch release.

Problem in displaying messages in the status bar

Hi all,
I have a custom form and whenever user clicks on the save button after entering any data in it, i would like to display a message in the status bar(as like in standard oracle forms).
I got the following solutions from some Guru's but it dint worked.
Sol 1: Setting the CONSOLE WINDOW property of the form to the custom window name.
I tried it and got the following error while compiling the form.
FRM-40735: ON-ERROR trigger raised unhandled exception
ORA-06508
In my ON-ERROR trigger i have the standard code
APP_STANDARD.EVENT('ON-ERROR');
sol 2: writing the following code snippet in POST-INSERT or POST-UPDATE trigger
clear_message;
message('Data Saved', NO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
synchronize;
With both the solutions i dint get any positive output.
Is there any other suggestions ?

A hack: at the end of init() put
ActionListener hack = new ActionListener() {
public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent evt) { showStatus("My status message"); }
new javax.swing.Timer(1000, hack).start();
Then 1000 milliseconds after init() completes it'll display your message.
There's got to be a cleaner way but if you're satisfied with this, great.

URL parameter value with : not displayed correctly on page

Hi,
I am working on a page with an interactive report.One of the report columns is hyperlinked to another page (Delete Page).This link passes an id and a title to the Delete page such that its displays a confirmation message to the end user before actually performing the delete.If the title contains a ":" the text after the ":" is not displayed on the page (albeit visible in the URL on the top)
Is this because the ":" seperates parameters in an APEX URL and therefore the text after the ":" is taken as the next URL parameter?
How can we solve this problem?

Yes - Apex will see the ":" as a parameter separator and will ignore everything after any that exist in the "with these values" parameter at the end of the url.
You can get around this in two ways:
1 - Escape your title - replace ":" with "%3A" in your sql statement
2 - Do not pass the title in the link but use a computation on the delete page to retrieve this value for display

Alert rules not displaying correctly in the RWB after transporting to QA

Hi Experts,
After transporting the alert rules from DEV to QA, the rules are not correctly displayed in the RWB in QA e.g. a star (*) is displayed in all the fields instead of the filter values which I have entered such as the "Sender Party"; "Sender Interface" etc. I am also not able to manually change the values in the RWB in QA anymore because the values are greyed out.
Strangely enough, the rules are correctly displayed inside the SXMSALERTRULES table in QA.
Do you perhaps know how to solve this issue so that the rules are also correclty displayed in the RWB after transporting?

Main Sub not displayed correctly on the FPL9

Hello Experts,
We have requirement to credit the GL account only after payment is received against the specific receivable e.g. $ 20 charge posted on the account and $ 18 payment clears the charge partially then crediting the GL account for $ 18. In order to achieve this we are using statistical posting logic. First defined main sub (e.g. Statistical 00XX 00AA) with statistical key 'G' and mapped these statistical sub to real subs using posting area 1010 (e.g. Real 00XX 00BB). Also defined liability GL account for these real subs (00XX 00BB) in EK02 and in FQZB (against MAIN transaction "00XX" and not against SUBs). Now, the problem is - payment clears the $ 20 charge correctly, it credits the liability GL correctly, and it also updates tables such as DFKKOP with required new entry of (REAL SUB i.e. 00XX 00BB) line but it doesn't show that line correctly on the FPL9 screen. It shows cleared $ 18 line item with statistical MAIN SUB (00XX 00AA).
Am I missing something here? Could you please help me to resolve this issue. Please also let me know if you think there is better way to address this requirement.

Gmail usernames and passwords not displaying correctly - is the issue with Firefox?

I have 3 email accts and when I click username in Gmail those 3 would show and passwords would be remembered automatically. Now it shows these 3 and 2 others that have been used before, plus NO passwords displayed. In the past if this happened I refreshed page and it went back to the 3 accts - this is no longer happening. Could it be a firefox issue?
Also my autofill in Gmail is no longer working and I have seen other inquiries about that. Is there any info on how to fix these???

This is a known issue in Firefox 4 beta 12. You could wait til' the RC comes out, or you could grab one of the latest nightly builds availible here that fix this problem: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/
Just a note though, nightly versions of firefox are generally less stable than betas or releases. I am waiting for the Release Candidate to come out myself. (Should be early next week)

4x3 format SD tape import looks ok on monitor , but, the DVD produced does not display correctly ? The format looks slightly thinner in width?

I have been archiving old Hi- 8 SD tape and when displayed on the PC monitor looks right. And looks correct on a TV Monitor.
But, the DVD when produced looks right on a TV monitor but, thinner when imported back as a DVD into Adobe Premiere Pro , how can I adjust this ? I know a 1,000pixels instead of 720 would fix the issue, i have checked it in Photoshop.
I have others that need extra editing, as the previous Sequences have been removed from the computer ?

usually this is caused by pixel aspect ratio. premiere usually reads it properly, but if it doesn't you can change it to a new value. in the project bin, right click the file(s) and choose modify, interpret footage. there is an option for pixel aspect ratio, you can try some till one looks right. the 1.21 or 1.45 might do what you are looking for...

Fonts not displaying correctly in the Character panel.

This is a problem i have across most of my cs6 applications in particular Illustrator but also in photoshop and indesign.
It started after i upgraded my mac to OS X Yosemite from Mountain Lion, i had read else where about it being an issue in cs5 with the new transparency feature of Yosemite and that by checking reduce transparency in the accessibility options that the problem would be solved. This worked partially to correct the problem but there are still glitches with the drop down font preview menus. I have included some screen shots of how the menus look the first is from photoshop and the second from illustrator both after i have checked the reduced transparency option in system preferences.
