Hi there - can anyone help with this?
I want a dynamic list of all the rows in a certain table -
EXCLUDING the row that is currently on view.
I can create the table and the dynamic list and the recordset
to retrieve the data I just need a way to remove the item that is
currently displaying to the user. (say the user is looking at ITEM
TWO - the menu would say)
OTHER ITEMS TO VIEW:
ONE
THREE
FOUR
IE. It's excluding TWO from the dynamic list because that is
actually on screen at the moment.
ANY IDEAS?

You can use the same variable that are using to display the
current view (x=item2) to exclude the row from the list of other
items (x!=item2). The actual code depends on the language and
method you are using. I think that easiest implementation of this
would be a ForEach statement. In xsl it would look something like
the code below. In the case of this code, the top portion would
display the name and ID of SIG 702 (SIG is just an acronym for some
groups in my organization). The bottom portion will create a table
containing the Name and ID of every SIG that does not have an ID of
702.

I have a Macbook Pro with OS X Lion 10.7.2. I have sent a work file to the trash bin along with many other files. When I empty the trash this one particular file remains and I get a message that this file is still in use. I have tried returning the file to my documents, opening it, closing it and then sending it to trash and again I try to empty trash but the same message comes up - Q - How can I trash this file permanently?
First just try logging out and back in. Whatever is holding on to it may not be running after the logout thus freeing it so you can trash it after logging back in.

Tonight a friend of mine tried to watch this video: http://www.globalmaritimes.com/video/index.html
But, it will not work on her Vista laptop. So I tried everything, I uninstalled flash, reinstalled it, changed various internet settings, etc. I tried IE 7, and firefox but it doesn't matter the video will not work. Yet on my laptop running Ubuntu, this video loads fine in firefox. Is there any suggestions on what is going on? The strange thing is, that all other videos such as youtube will work on her computer just not this ONE video. I'm losing my mind here so any help would be appreciated!Hi

Why can I video chat with everyone on my list- Except for one person?
Recently, my friend and I have been having problems video chatting with each other. A couple of months ago, we were able to screen share, voice chat, and video chat just fine. I can, and she can too, do all those things with all of our other iChat contacts. Except when we try to do anything with each other, it says "A problem has occurred with iChat". We've tried it multiple times on different computers, internet connections, etc., but it never seems to work. Is there a way that my friend and I can start to video chat and screen share again? This problem has just come out of the blue, and it is really bugging us.

Have either of you changed a Router at all ?

As time and iChat has progressed so has our understanding of NAT (Network Address Translation)
In some cases the way the Device that does the routing at each end does NAT means you cannot get a video connection.
If it was working and now doesn't it suggests something changed.
As changing setting would more likely effect every Buddy at one end it looks more like a hardware issue (at least in terms of the devices functionality)
Make, model and version numbers of any routers may help identify something specific.

Cannot use iTunes to transfer music files except for one computer login.
Info: We have 2 laptops in our home, both on Windows Vista SP2. Both iTunes 10.5. I recently got an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1, on Verizon, 8 GB.
I have only one Apple ID as far as I can tell, but I do remember being forced to change my login name to an email address, and make my password more complex. During that time, I think my other laptop was inoperative. I had to install a new hard drive and reinstall Windows and all apps from scratch. The two laptops do not have identical music libraries.
Apps sync only on the first computer and user login I used the iPhone on. The other computer doesn't show the same apps and warns me that if I sync with it I might replace the apps on the phone with what's in its apps list. How do you ensure that either laptop can sync the iPhone without wiping the content off? I want to backup to both laptops.
I cannot transfer any of my music files from the second laptop at all. I get a cursor with the red slash circle. I can transfer files on the original computer, but I have to be logged on as the one computer user account. It's like every connection except this one computer account can maintain my iPhone properly.
Anyone else have a similar problem or have a fix?Use only one computer as the mother ship to sync with a device.

About a month ago a song randomly appeared in my songs list and when I tried swiping to the left to delete the song it wouldn't slide over to show the delete button. The delete slide appears with all of my other songs except that one. The ICloud songs are turned off and it wasn't iTunes Radio. 2 more songs like this have appeared and I can't delete them from both my iPhone or my computer (they don't even show up on my computer). If somebody knows how to fix this that would be amazing! Thank You.

I have an Iphone 5 and Love it. Except for one thing; I recently changed from ymail email account to a gmail account. I updated it on the
Apple/ Itunes site and it does accept the change. I can still access the APP store and Itunes.
However, sometimes I get a pop up box from Apple showing the old email address and asking me to sign in..... I hit cancel and move on. But, now Icloud keeps popping up promting me to sign in and it shows the old email which I don't have anymore.... I tried signing in with the old info to clear it off screen of my phone but, it doesn't allow and I hit cancel and it goes away. only to appear later again.... This is so frustrating and annoying. Is there any way to get the Icloud to update the email address with my Apple ID log in info--without having to delete stuff or lose things on my phone?

AV works for me, except with this ONE friend... same thing for him.
I can AV chat with everyone on my buddy list (I use AIM on a Macbook Pro), but when I try to AV chat with this one friend (who has the exact same laptop as I do), it fails to connect. He can also AV chat with everyone else on his buddy list... I've searched the net and found other people with this same problem but no solutions yet. Any ideas?
Thanks.It may be the way the individual Modems or routers that are involved do NAT.
NAT (Network Address Translation) is a global term for various ways of achien=ving the same thing.
Some devices don't "Play Nicely" together.
One option is to use UPnP if the devices have it to open the ports

You do NOT need to restore your iPad.
I believe that the problem is that there is a disconnect with your iTunes account and your iPad. What you are experiencing is a somewhat common issue after you sync your iPad, update your device - it could be a number of reasons that are causing it. the recommended fix is to download another app in order to "reconnect" your ID and iTunes account to the iPad.
You can read more about it here. You will need a WiFi internet connection in order to fix it - or you have to be able to sync with your own iTunes library.

How do I delete a card from my contact list that was added (I assume) by Facebook? I already have the contact in my contact list. This card contains all Facebook information for this contact. When I click on Edit, the Facebook logo is by each entry. It will not allow me to delete it by going to "edit" - "delete card". Help.
I tried deleting the name in the list and it won't let me - doesn't highlight. Same under the Edit tab - it won't hilight. This card is not like the other cards where you can do that. I believe the contact has a Facebook acct. and I do to. I didn't - to my knowledge - add this card from there. I don't know if that is possible. Bugs me that Facebook has control over my Contact List or so it seems. I will see if Facebook can give me any clues. Thank you.

Query to get the data of all the columns in a table except any one column
Can anyone please tell how to write a query to get the data of all the columns in a table except one particular column..
For Example:
Let us consider the EMP table.,
From this table except the column comm all the remaining columns of the table should be listed
For this we can write a query like this..
Select empno, ename, job, mgr, sal, hiredate, deptno from emp;
Just to avoid only one column, I mentioned all the remaining ( 7 ) columns of the table in the query..
As the EMP table consists only 8 columns, it doesn't seem much difficult to mention all the columns in the query,
but if a table have 100 columns in the table, then do we have to mention all the columns in the query..?
Is there any other way of writing the query to get the required result..?
