Lock and release procedure of sales order - Based on Value
Hello Gurus,
I am having the following requirement in SD, let me explain with one example.
If users creating Sales orders with value less than Rs.1000/- means, System should not allow to proceed further to save the
sales orders (need the same to specific Sales areas).
I tried with condition type "AMIW" / User exits where we can able to block/lock the further process but in general we may need to proceed further even if its below the value(Rs.1000/) considering the genuine and regular order from customer.
Pls suggest your ideas to achieve the Lock and release procedure based on Sales Order Value.

Hi,
Instead to going for user exits, you can control this by
1. Field VBAK-NETWR (Net Value) as a part of incompletion procedure.
2. In VUA2 check u201CIC boxu201D
3. Create a Customer discount condition ZDIS with scales. In V/06 maintain scale basis as B=value, Check value B= Ascending and Scale type as B= to scale. Calculate it on the Price condition
4 .In VK11 Maintain record as -100% up to say Value INR1000/-
You can fine tune according to your requirement by adding tables with relevant fields.
The idea is simple. As long as the PR00 condition value is below INR1000/- discount condition type ZDIS will calculate discount as 100% and Document net value will become Zero.
If the document value is Zero Incompletion log will not allow saving the document.
You can maintain records for ZDIS as per your requirement (for genuine customers). Or you can close the condition record by changing the validity when it is not necessary for other customers.
Hope this helps.

Sharan

Change pricing procedure in Sales order based on SHIP-TO Location..
HI SAP Friends,
Based on the SHIP-TO location of the sales order, we want to have tax calculated including Freight Amt. I was thinking to come up with 2 pricing procedure; one that calculates tax including Freight amt AND the other procedure that does not calculate tax including freight amt. Hence, We want to dynamically change 'Pricing procedure' based on Ship-To location. DO we have any user exits for this ?Nirnjan
Tax calculation is based on the simple logic:
Region of Shipping Plant - region of Ship to Customer location.
In case of freight apply the acces sequence using the ship to party location field as part of condition type aqccess.

Where the release of a Sales order data is ?
Hi,
I need to find time and date when sales orders where released.
I found table VBLB, field ERZEI for time. Is this right??, what would be the correct field for date??
thanks for the help.
MauricioI need to find time and date when sales orders where released.
There is no release procedure for sale orders unlike PO in MM and I presume that it would have been creation date and time. If so, you may check in VBAK.
thanks

Sales order based on purchased order
Hi,
How can do a sales order based on a purchase order? I will see all the document workflow on the purchase order history?
Thanks in advance...
Best Regards
João FernandesHello Fernandes,
I don't think there would be a process where in we place a purchase order to our vendors and then create a sales order based on it for a customer.. Its not at all a common business process..
Generally we will purchase if required, if we have any sales order, for which we don't have enough stock or doesn't manufacture those products; but the vise versa may not happen in general.
And even SAP doesn't support that, you can never see the Sales order in the Purchase order history.
We can create the Sales order based on the purchase order that was placed by the customer .
Please confirm your business requirements, and let us know to help you in a better way.

Different Pricing Procedure for Sale order and Billing Document
Hello Experts
As per scenario,we create Excise Invoice (T-Code J1IIN) on Basis of Proforma Invoice.Proforma Invoice and Excise Invoice follow Pricing from Sale Order.AS per pricing Some excise condition types are get update in Proforma and excise Invoice.
AS Per Customer Payment Confirmation we Create Export Billing Invoice (T-code VF01) on basis of Outbound delivery.
Issue -: AS per export Billing Rule we don't want to update Excise Condition type in Export Billing Document, and at same time it should not create any accounting entries for same condition type. we Dont want excise Duity in Export Billing Document as Export Billing Doccumnet aslo Follow Pricing procedure of Sale order
Should i create new Pricing procedure or what other things to solve above issue.
Please help me out
Thanks and Regards
Pash@SDHello,
The key to your requirement can be maintenance of Excise condition type with proper access sequence and accordingly maintain condition record for them.
You create an access sequence with following access:
- Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / Price grp / Mat.pr.grp / Materia
- Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / Price grp / Mat.pr.grp
- Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp
- Country / Plant / PlntRegion / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp
For export maintain condition record based on any key combination, say for
Country / Plant / PlntRegion / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp - Tax % - Tax Code
FR / 1000 / KR / 03 (EXPORT) / 04 / 0% / V1
I hope this can assist you.
Thanks & Regards

MTO(Diff between complex make to order and sales order based mass prod)
Hi
We are using MTO...Can anyone tell me what is the Diff between complex make to order and sales order based mass prod in finance perspective?Hi,
In the case of complex make to order scenario, through MRP, the Project shall be assigned to the sales order. Then there will be milestone billling and all. In the case of mass production MTO, it is only creation of production order for each sales order item and each sales order item shall have sales order cost estimate.
Trust this helps much and do encourage our efforts!
Cheers!

How to pull sales orders based on a Campaign ID??( I have created one Campaign and i need to know, for how many orders it was applicable)
Hello,
as far I understand you are talking about campaign determination. Once a sales order is generated having a campaign determined the campaign creates a reference to the sales order. The best way to track the assigned sales orders is using the related transactions function:
The same feature is available for trade promotions as well.
The data is available in table CRMD_BRELVONAE - you can also write a report selecting on OBJGUID_A_SEL with the campaign or TP guid and OBJTYPE_A_SEL with BUS2010020 for campaigns and BUS2010030 for trade promotions.
Is this answering your questions?

Different pricing procedures on Sales order and billing documents
Hello All,
I have come across a situation where I will have to maintain seperate pricing procedures for Sales order and the corresponding billing document.
I was just wondering if this is normal. In my previous projects I always had same pricing procedure for the order and the billing.
Please share your experience.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks,
RajHello Friend
This is a very common requirement in many implementations depending on the scenario
Sales order with one pricing procedure The same sales order when goes for billing
Billing document with another pricing procedure
Settings needed
Order type VOV8 has a document pricing procedure Say A
Billing type VOFA has a document pricing procedure Say B
Sales area 1000,10,00 and CPP is 1
OVKK settings is like this
1000,10,00 DPP A, CPP1 Pricing procedure is RVAA01
1000,10,00 DPP B, CPP1 Pricing procedure is RVAA02
The control data in both RVAA01 and RVAA02 is different
In VTFL between your del type to billing type aunder the header that item level The pricing type should be B (carry out new pricing) if delivery related billing
In VTFA betwen your ord type to billing type aunder the header that item level The pricing type should be B (carry out new pricing) if ordery related billing
Now the same sales order will carry PP RVAA01at order level and RVAA02 at the billing document
There can be some business scenarios you want to add some extra discount at the time of billing
That time you have a discount type added in the billing PP so that it is reflected in the billing
This is scenario dependent
Hence SAP has given the option of DPP in VOFA so that by billing documentwise we can differentiate
To achieve this Copy control settings and DPP should be different both in VOV8 and VOFa

Thanks & Regards,
NivasHi,
Yes you can able to map two different pricing procedure for order and invoice level
You can achieve it through by document pricing procedure and assign it in document type
In VOV8 assign document pricing procedure A for order type
in VOFA assign document pricing procedure B for billing type
Keep customer pricing procedure common
Then in OVKK assign pricing procdures

How to List Sales Orders based on Creation Date and Delivery Priority
Dear all,
How can we list Sales Orders based on creation date and delivery priority.
I tried using vl10a transaction code, but there we can see sales order based on delivery date.
we need to list all sales order based on delivery priority and sales order creation date.
can any one of you tell me which standard report gives such kind of report. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thank you
Raghu RamHi Raghu,
There is no st report available as per your req.
Using SQVI, you develope one report that is list of sales orders based on your req.
SQVI is used to convert a Quick View into a query.
Quick Viewer:
The Quick Viewer allows you to define reports without having to program yourself. The Quick
Viewer is especially useful for new users and occasional use.
Quick Viewer is a tool for generating reports. SAP Query offers the user a whole range of options for defining reports. SAP Query also supports different kinds of reports such as basic lists, statistics, and ranked lists. Quick Viewer, on the other hand, is a tool that allows even relatively inexperienced users to create basic lists.
Quick View definitions are user-dependent. You can transfer a Quick View into SAP Query in order to make reports, for example, accessible to additional users, or to use the other functions available in SAP Query.
The following is a comparison of Quick Views and queries:
Quick Views possess the same functional attributes as queries. However, only basic lists may be defined with Quick Views.
In contrast to queries, no user group assignment is necessary with Quick Views. Each user has his/her own personal list of Quick Views. Quick Views cannot be exchanged between users. Quick Views may, however, be converted to queries and then be made available to other users in a specific user group.
Info Sets are not required for Quick View definition. Whenever you define a Quick View, you can specify its data source explicitly. Tables, database views, table joins, logical databases, and even Info Sets, can all serve as data sources for a Quick View. You can only use additional tables and additional fields if you use an Info Set as a data source.
The Quick Viewer uses various controls. Certain hardware and software requirements must also be fulfilled before you can use the Quick Viewer.
To define a Quick View, you select certain fields according to your data source that determine the structure of your report. The report can be executed in basis mode with standard layout or may be edited using drag and drop and the other toolbox functions available in WYSIWYG mode.
Reports created using the Quick Viewer may also be passed to external programs (Excel, for example).
Call the Quick Viewer using System -> Services -> Quick Viewer (or transaction SQVI).
Enter the name of the Quick View. Quick View names can contain a maximum of 14 characters.
Choose Create.
Enter a title for the Quick View and remarks, if you think they are relevant.
If you do not want to base your list on a table, use the possible entries pushbutton in the Data source field to select another data source. You can choose logical databases or Info Sets. In addition, you may also create table joins. For further information, see Selecting a Data Source.
Choose Basis mode if you want to create the list directly with no list design. Choose Layout mode if you want to define the layout of your list yourself.
SQVI Table Quick viewer Used to created quick client dependent reports
Probably the easiest and most flexible way to do this is thru one of the ABAP query transactions.
Transaction SQVI can do this and it has a very good help function that explains how it works... the drawback is that it is only for one user.
You can play around with it and see if it meets your needs...
The query results will come back in an ALV Grid or Excel... you can select what fields are returned, and have a selection screen to enter the search criteria.
You can get the report by joining the tables VBAK and VBAP.
If you have any queries, i will forward screen shots to your id.
Reward points pls.

Process Sales Order based on minimum order
Hi Sap gurus,
Can any one Help me Out regarding How the System should have capability to process Sales Order based on minimum order quantity and minimum order value and How we will map In sap
Thanks
Points will rewards
Regards
RajeshHi,
We can set the control for Min order quantity in the Sales org1 view. Like wise we can control min order value also.
For that we have to use two condition types AMIW & AMIZ.
AMIW is min order value, where as AMIZ is min ord surcharge
Let's say AMIW value is 50,000.If the order value is less than 50,000 then AMIZ comes into picture.Amiz compares the automatically determined order value and AMIW value. The difference of those two values Amiz takes as surcharge and it overwrites the automatically determined order value with this value.
Like wise we can maintain min order value also by using this two cond types.
In the pricing procedure
subtotal req Altcal Altcond+bv
AMIW D
AMIZ 2 13
Award me points if u satisfy
Thanks,

Sales order based production orders GR restrictions
Hi,
i work mostly on sales order based planning and
I manufacture many sub assemblies and consume it to manufacture a finished product.that mean i have many sum assemby production orders and finally i create the production order for the sales order line item and produce it and do GR for the production order and sell the material.
My requirement is that i want to control the GR of the header material production order if any sub assembly production orders has not yet been GR.
but i am not interested in using colletive order concept.
please suggest how to control that as many of the users are not doing GR for the sub assemblies and doing GR for the saleable material and selling the material.

madanDear,
Avevalbility check depends on 2 things
checking rule and checking group
Checking rule is maintained for each function like production order it is PP and SD order it is A.
Checking group is maintained for a material code and plant combination in MRP3 view.
The combination of Checking rule and checking group will decide which stock, receipt element and issue elements have to be considered for avealability check.
Checking rule is assigned at order type. You can have different checking group for assembly and sub assembly and can have different rule.
Even you can go for different order type for finished material, and all subassembly you can have different order type. In Assembly order you can make setting so that if material is shortage existis release is abondended.
come back if required

Release procedure for Purchase orders
Hello SAP Gurus,
Can anyone explain in steps the release procedure for purchase orders and also can any one explain how it differs from Puchase requisition release procedure.

NDSHi
Release procedure for Purchase orders here is process flow.
Go to spro>img>materials management>purchassing>Release procedure for Purchase orders

Charactrestics are like plant, purchase order value, purchase group etc.. Assign characterstics to release class 032.
2. Create Release group say 01 and create release codes like pm(project manager), gm(general manager) etcc..
3. Create a Release starategy say s1 and assign release group to it 01 and release class 032 and department to whom this release stategy applies say MM. define the order of release say first pm followed by gm etc..
4. under classfication define value limits for release of purchase order.
5. define release indicators
6. simulate the release
7. assign if there is any workflow.
hope it helps. -
What is release strtegy for sales order
hi gurus
what is release strategy for sales order
can any one throw some light
points awarded.
kishoreDear Rama,
There is nothing like release strategy for sales order. There is a release strategy for purchase order. A bit of search on sdn forum in MM section will help you a lot on this area.
For your reference, The release code is a two-character ID allowing a person to release (clear, or approve) a requisition or an external purchasing document. The release codes is basically controlled via a system of authorizations (authorization object M_EINK_FRG).
Use SE12, structure CEKKO to check all the fields available for controlling the Purchase Order.
e.g. If the total value for the Purchase Order exceeds 10,000, release strategy 01 is assigned to the Purchase Order. There is only one characteristic created in this example. For controlling the Purchase Order type, create characteristic for CEKKO-BSTYP and the value NB.
CT04 - Create Characteristic e.g. NETVALUE
Click Additional data Table name CEKKO Field name GNETW and press enter
(for currency dependent field, you are prompt to enter the currency which the system then converts the currency of the Purchasing document into this currency)
In the Basic data (X refers to tick),
X Mutliple values
X Interval values
In the Value data, in the Char. value column, type >10000 and press enter
Save your data
CL02 - Class
Class - Create REL_PUR
Class type - 032
Click Create
Description - Release Procedure for Purchase Order
In the Same Classification section, click Check with error
In the Char. (characteristic) tab, type NETVALUE to assign your characteristics to the class
OMGS - Define Release Procedure for Purchase Order Type
Release Group - New entries
Rel.group Rel. Object Class Description
02 REL_PUR Rel. Strategy for PO
Release codes - New entries
Grp Code
02 01
Release indicators
Release indicators Release Description
0 Blocked
1 X Release
Release Strategy
Release group 02
Rel.strategy 01
Release codes 01
Release status 0
1
Classification Choose your check values
OMGSCK - Check Release Strategies
(make sure there are no error messages)
Once the Purchase Order is not release, buyers will not be able to print the Purchase Order.
Goods Receipts will be shown with Message no. ME 390 - Purchasing document XXXXXXX not yet released.
In 4.6c, Purchase Order with Release Strategy have a tabs at the end of the Header. This allowed the buyers to check the release status of the Purchase Order.
The person with the release authorization have to use ME28 to release the Purchase Order.
Hope this helps you.
Do award points if you found them useful.
