Script to get the user details by running a view from powershell

Hi,
I have a use-case of getting the list of users, who got modified in last one week or so. There was no direct way of getting the results as office-365 doesn't have the option. As i posted in a forum they suggested to use view based for retrieving

User details on Portal login

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement when user logins immediately his details like name and his ip address have to be stored in log file of server.I have created a par file for fetching user details and updating the log file and added it in default framework page.
When i right click on iview and click preview the log file is getting updated but on logging into portal and on load of framework page log file is not getting updated..Please suggest.

If auditing is enabled (check Sign-On:Audit Level profile option), then you should be to get all login information from FND_LOGINS and FND_USER tables.

Where does apex get user details from for login in

sorry for this stupid question. I have been looking up in google "where does apex get user details from for login in" and nothing answers my question. Basically I wanted to know when you log in your application how does apex know you have access to this application. How does it know you are a valid user because I am creating an application which basically checks if a user exist in one database and also checks if he/she exist in the second database.

Find the User ID through which the end user logged in BEx Analyzer?

I want to fetch the end user USERID who is executing the query. I am the end user and want to view a report, so I will login into BEx Analyzer with my userid and start executing query. Is there any way I can find that ID, in any table, program, function module or some where........?
I don't want 'created by', 'last changed by'. I want ID through which end user is logging into in Analyzer.
Also if the end user is logging in through RSRT wanted to know the SAP login user ID through which the user logged in?

Hi,
If you want to see the end user id that is running the query, and then open the workbook, select Layout from the menu u2013 Display Text elements. Click on All (or General, Filters or Variables based on your requirement). It will display the technical name, info provider, current user details. You can save it as existing work book transport to production, then when this query executed you can find end user login id.
May be you can check RSRWBTEMPLATE table for workbook users details. Mostly end user will not have access to RSRT.

How do I get the Manged bean and Taskflow logic for Disable button in User details Modify page

I have a requirement where I have to add to custom buttons like "Terminate" and "Reinstate" in the users detail page. Terminate is closely modeled with "Disable" button of user details page. Before I develop the custom beans and register the task flow for the custom button, I just want to understand the logic written in the managed bean for "Disable" button and understand what is there in its associated task flow. Am trying to get these details from OIM. Not sure where exactly I can get the code for this and customize as per my requirement.
Please suggest the exact location?

I have the checkout form populating information, if they have purchased in the past it will populate their address - but I am also trying to get their "account page" to do the same (basically show them what their current information in the system is - then allow them to update whatever might be wrong or need changes). We have a login page, for people to sign up without having "bought" something - so the CRM won't have their billing/shipping info in the system yet. Trying to capture that without a purchasing being made.

Assigning a login module to a single WebDynpro to authenticate against LDAP

we are running the J2EE Engine 7.0 within XI on SAP NetWeaver 2004s / Linux x86_64.
Basically, i want to Authenticate a Java WebDynpro against an LDAP (Active Directory). With the XI Usage installed, I can not customize the UME to authenticate against an LDAP (not supported and not possible).
Thus, I want to use a custom login module or, if suitable, a standard login module to authenticate against LDAP. I know that all WebDynpro Apps use the default authentication scheme that in turn references the authentication template "ticket".
1) Can I use a predefined Login Module to authenticate against Active Directory LDAP or do I have to write a custom login module?
2) Is it possible to assign a login module to a single WebDynpro and how can I do this?

We have developed a custom login module which does this. It looks to the user like the BasicPasswordLoginModule provided with SAP, but the userid and password entered has to be a valid accountpassword from the Active Director domain. We use the Kerberos protocol to perform this useridpassword validation, not LDAP. The userid can be just a name, in which case the default domain (realm in Kerberos terminology) or it can be specified as user@REALM in which case a non-default realm can be used to authenticate. Once the authentication is complete, we look in USRACL table to map this Kerberos principal name onto a SAP userid so we can then create an SSO2 ticket.
If you interested to evaluate, or get a quote for purchasing this, please contact me offline. Of course, you can develop your own if you are happy to do so. I just thought you might be interested to know of an alternative.

Error while updating bank details through ESS

Hi All,
While updating banks details through ESS, " change in the payroll past not possible".
I have checked IT0003 and noticed that accounted to 31.08.2014.
I assume this might be causing the error. Could you please advice with your expertise.

When the infotype 0009 is modified, the system is regrouping data for the infotypes which are checked releavnt according to the table T582G. Retroactivity is checked via V_T582A In view V_T582A for infotype 0009 you will see, I guess, that the field 'Past entry all.' is maintained with an 'E'. This means that it is not allowed to maintain any infotype 0009 record for the payroll past. The important day for this check is the last day of the last accounted period. Retroactive change of infotype 0009 is not permitted as the bank transfer is already done. This is the reason why this infotype can not be changed retroactively. For bank records end user must not be allowed to maintain past date records and should not be allowed to change any other detail of record when payroll for that period is already run. for e.g. if current date is 26/11/2013. Then end user must not be allowed to edit other bank record effective from 25/11/2013. We should not allow end user to edit record effective from 27/11/2013 because payroll is already run for that period. If user is allowed to change then data maintained in infotype 9 and information send to payroll may be different. You can use BAdi HRXSS_PER_BEGDA,to default the next payroll period

Not able to login to User management link in portal

After looking into the error first i dont think you are enter the right password.
In case if you are entering the right password then you might not have the necessary admin rights on portal.

GRC 10.0 Access Request Creation- Data Source of User Details

Hi Experts,
I was doing GRC 10.0 Configuration and found a query which I am not able to resolve.
While creation of any kind of Access Request in GRC through NWBC> Acces Management Tab>Access Request>Access Request Creation.
In the user details section, I can see the HR records( like Pernr, position, manager) have been visible to some extent.
My question is where from these details came in GRC. What configuration we should maintain to achieve these HR records?
Hope to get a quick response as this is one of the requirement of the implementation which I am doing with my customer.

Thanks for your response. It helped me to know certain things.
But when I am navigating to SPRO > GRC > Access Control > Maintain Data Sources Configuration > [User Detail Data Source], it is configured with a ECC system in target connector and User data type is maintained as "SU01".
Now my question is where from in my case the GRC is pulling the HR records (PA20) like PERNR, POSITION,PERSONEL AREA etc? SU01 does not provide these information. My ECC box is integrated with HR module, so is it taking the data from HR directly?

Thank you for your immediate response.. I have a gone through that thread and I noticed that in that case by using the email address we are getting the userID. But in my case I need to get both userID and email address by using first name and last name. I also tried to get the person number from ADRP table by using these fields (So that I can get the email address from ADR6 table by using the person number).. but the first name and last name are not the key fields..So got stucked there. Please suggest me how to proceed.
