Project 2010 Crashes

Hi,
I've been having this issue to export to PDF from Project 2010 (Std Ed - 32 bit). It just hangs and no response for ever (not responding mode)
I searched for fixes, but no luck so far and i also contacted vendor who purchased the software for our company and he does not seem to answer it. Lost all my hope and i run to people when ever i need to export to PDF version.
As i last resort, i'm here..could someone suggest how to fix this? Do i've to install any Service pack?

First of all, if not done, I'd suggest you to install the
SP2. Then try to repair Project from the control panel. Finally, does it happen for all projects, or just specific project(s)?

what to do to restore server again?
i am searched already in microsoft website i found command /m:recoverserver using to install exhange again using same
name and same ip address before implement the command need to reset computer name.
my question :

You ahve to reset the computer account in AD.
Join the server with the same name.
From command prompt You will have to run Setup /m:RecoverServer (After navigating to the Exch media folder/drive)

Its highly recommended to have an additional domain controller (ADC) to recover when the FSMO holder fails. Please check this.

Change DNS IP in exchange server to the new server and restart exchange server it will connect to the next available DC/GC. You can use this command to connect to a particular DC from EMS.

Exe compiled in LV 2010 crash - Since installing LV 2012 SP1 and 2013
Double-click on exe icons (LV apps written in 2010), the application icon appears on taskbar then disappears (program crashes).
I have tried re-installing the exe's but doesn't fix. Is there an issue with the new LV RTE's?
Any suggestions for fix???

Have you tried making your exe into a debuggable exe? You can do this through your project build specification Advanced>>Enable Debugging. Make sure you check the box for Wait for Debugger. This means when you launch your exe you can connect to it from LabVIEW and see your block diagrams, use highlight execution, probles etc. It is quite possible that you are running into an error case while your program is loading and it is exiting.

Can´t open pdf attachment in Outlook 2010 after inst. Reader X

Hi!
Today I updated Reader from 9 to 10.1.2 - I did not face any problems with the installation.
But now I can not open any pdf attachment in Outlook 2010 (Reader opens and closes immediately) if Reader X is not running.
When the Reader is allready running I can open the files without problems.
When I save the file on my desctop I can also open it - also if reader is not allready running.
I un- and reinstalled the reader fiew times, also tried the repair tool - nothing helped.
I receive a lot of pdf Files - any help would be great.

Open up Adobe Reader X
On the Toolbar Menu go to Edit > Preferences
Go to the general tab under Categories.
Untick “Enable Protected Mode at Startup”
If asked if sure, click Yes and then Ok.
Now close Adobe Reader X and try opening the PDF again.

My two cents: We have the same SecurityExceptions when JAXP is doing a System.getProperty on java.home property, which applet specification forbids. So we think JAXP is meant to be run in a servlet, rather an in an applet (unless Sun could correct us on that). Those property reads would need to be removed if they were to run in an applet.
You might want to check out other SOAP clients, for example, SOAPRMI. A beta version is at:

Acrobat Pro crashes after installing Reader XI - Fix?

I cannot run my Acrobat Pro 7.0 after installing a Reader update to XI. It crashes every time I open a pdf document. Uninstalled everything and reinstalled Acrobat Pro, still crashes even with Reader XI removed. What gives?

WORD 2010 Crashes Opening Word 2007 files

WORD 2010 crashes when opening Word 2007 files. If you save the files in Office 2007 as an RTF file, then open in WORD 2010 and save as a DOCX it works fine. Why can't WORD open legacy documents (these are not big files ~13 pages).
I have tried opening in safe mode, same effect - the doc opens and appears in the WORD window, and then the pop-up appears before you can do anything telling you that WORD 2010 has crashed.

Try using Open and Repair on the problem docs.
In the Open dialog, select the file, then click the arrow beside Open and choose Open and Repair

Acces 2010 crashes when importing a exceldatabase

when i import a excel file in excel acces 2010 doesn't work wel. When i want to open the datasheet view acces 2010 crashes.
i've already tried to import a file with only 100 lines but still the same problem.

Post a copy of the Excel file so we can try it ourselves.
Try a 50 line file. Then, a 25 line file. Then 12 lines, etc. until you get one that works. That makes it easier to find the killing line.

Try a start Outlook in safe mode and test the results again.
Click Start, point to All Programs, and then point to Microsoft Office. Press and hold the CTRL key, and then click Microsoft Outlook.
If the problem does not occur in the safe mode, this issue might be related to some third-party add-ins in the Office program, we can try
to disable them.
If the problem persists in safe mode, try a new Outlook profile

Go to Start > Control Panel, click or double-click Mail.
3.
Click Show Profiles. Choose Prompt for a profile to be used.
4.
Click Add.
5.
Type a name for the profile, and then click OK.
6.
Highlight the profile, and choose Properties. Then Email Accounts.., add your email account in the profile.
7.
Start Outlook, and choose this new profile.
Can the problem be resolved?

Why is URLResource url property read-only?

We didn't have a reason to make it writeable. Typically it's set in the constructor and never needs to change. Do you have a case where you want to change it and creating a new URLResource isn't possible?

AIR 3.6 & 3.7 Loading Remote SWF Crashes iOS on Property Read

I have been trying out the feature in AIR SDK 3.6 that allows you to load local swf files with ABC. This is working fine. However, I am getting a crash on an iOS AOT build when I load a remote swf that does NOT have ABC and I try to read any property on that remote asset. I have never had this problem with AIR 3.4. The problem persists on AIR 3.7
Below is a simple example to reproduce the problem. The crash will occur immediately when it attempts to trace the "currentLabels" property of the loaded content. I believe the property itself to be arbitrary --- the same crash will occur when reading any property. In fact, you can even set a breakpoint before that line and in the Flash Builder debugger, if you try to expand the content's properties the app will crash.

I was having the same problem using CS5.5 and AIR 3.7. For me, the solution was to put a label in my main timeline and then call this.currentLabels in the main .as class.
My app was crashing every time I called the "currentLabels" property from a custom class controlling a remote SWF. I thought that it might have been a problem with the FrameLabel class not being imported at compile-time, so I tried placing a flash.display.FrameLabel reference in the main class. This did not fix the problem. Then I tried making an arbitrary call to the currentLabels property of my main timeline (all you need to do is reference it) and everything else worked fine.

After a little further testing, it seems that you can place the reference anywhere (I put it in my custom class by calling theRemoteSWF.parent.currentLabels), but that you must have a label somewhere in the main timeline and call the "currentLabels" property of your main SWF before referencing the currentLabels of a child SWF

Outlook 2010 Quick Print - Adobe Reader 11.0.10 Crashing

We have an issue where when printing an outlook email with multiple PDF attachments using the quick print button in outlook; Adobe reader will crash and some of the PDFs will not print.
We have tried this wil multiple printers, printer drivers, computers, users, and both x86 and x64 versions of Windows 7.
We have reinstalled Adobe Reader, Outlook, Printers.
We have disabled the secure (Protected Mode).
We have recreated the user's windows profile from scratch and had them use different computers.
The issue does not happen everytime but it does happen a majority of the time.
Does anyone have an more troubleshooting steps that we may try I am open to any suggestions.

Yes, but adobe will still crash intermittently if I try to print multiple PDFs at the same time.
For example:
I have 3 PDFs in a folder, I highlight them all, right click, Click on print.
It will usually print the first one, but then adobe reader will crash and the other two PDFs will not print.

Labview 2010 64-bit property node setting

I am trying to set the selection start and selection size for an array in LabVIEW 2010 64-bit on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.
LabVIEW 2010 64-bit crashes and is shut down by Windows.
The call works fine in LabVIEW 2010 32-bit on the same machine.
The computer is a Dell Precision 3500 with 4 GB ECC memory, an Intel Xeon 3530 2.8 GHZ CPU, and a 320GB hard drive. I have LabVIEW 2010 Service Pack 1 installed.
Here is an example of code with just one property node call.
Is this a bug or something weird with my system.

I was able to reproduce the problem, also using LV2010 64-bit on Windows 7 64-bit. I tried various representations of the array data type as well as trying to not include the data type for the control reference as well as trying it via a property node in the calling VI. LabVIEW crashed each time. I'd say it's definitely a bug.
