Mail Printing emails tiny!!

Sometimes i print to our office GP605600605 Cannon printer, and they print tiny in top left hand on A4. This is useless when clients send back corrections etc.
Mail is the only program that does this. Anyone know why?

My apologies, my fault, new system giving me a 'senior moment' I've solved the problem. I've highlighted the mail I want to print and right clicked and then left clicked on print and it has worked OK.

For what it's worth, I can report exactly the same problem. I just recently converted from Outlook for Mac 2011 to Mail. I did the conversion while running Yosemite. I like pretty much everything about Mail EXCEPT that it take 2 pages to print a 1 page email!! The header appears on the top of p.1, followed by a blank space. The message begins at the top of p.2.
If you scale it down, you can get the message to begin to appear on the bottom of p.1, but clearly, Mail is inserting BIG SPACE between the header and the message. Changing the display fonts for Mail had no apparent effect (except that the font DID change, of course)....still a BIG SPACE between the header and the message.
Coming to Mail for the first time, I would have assumed that this was just a quirk of Mail, but am I understanding that some of you Mail users out there USED TO NOT have this problem?? I think it's pretty clear that it's Mail that's causing the problem, not the message, because I went over to my old Outlook and printed the same couple of messages with no such space between the header and the message. So Mail is inserting a space into the print formatted email message that is NOT there in Outlook's print formatted same message.
Be really nice to get rid of this problem, but my Apple Care free support has expired. Not sure I want to pay for something that's generic to Mail!! Anyone else made any progress on this?

Why can't I print emails in Safari mail?

For some time, I have not been able to print emails (not that I do that often) but I find it annoying that whenever
I need to print, all I get is a blank page. Even calendars don't show up as they do on-screen.
I'm thinking that I would like to remove emails from iCloud, partly because I have emails there that are quite old.

What operating system are you using ?
Have you installed the software ? If so are you connected through wireless, usb, Ethernet ....ect ?
Can you print other things besides email ?
Here is a link to the HP Print and Scan Doctor. You can select your operating system and then under Utility choose the download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. This helps diagnose and resolve most printing issues.

How do I set up Daily Mail Printer Edition?

The steps are pretty simple:
Open Daily Mail Printer Edition. The application should open as soon as installation is complete. You can also open the program by clicking your desktop icon, or by clicking Start, then All Programs, then the name of the particular application.
To set up the application to print, follow these steps:
(1) Click the Edit button.
(2) Select each of the days when you want prints.
(3) Select the time of day when you want your prints (these are in hourly slots).
(4) Select your printer from the list (PDF and XPS writers are not supported). .
(5) Don’t forget to click OK when you’re through!
You can also click the wrench icon () to open the Settings dialog, where you can set the desired action for when a scheduled print is missed. If you want the item to print immediately when you log in, select Automatically. If you want to be asked before an item is printed, select When Prompted. If you just want to skip missed items, select Never.
Don’t forget that on the days and times you’ve selected, your printer must be turned on, have paper, and be connected to your computer, and your computer must be on and connected to the Internet. Happy printing!

Printing emails that contain barcode

My husbands computer info:
HPE-170t bought in 2010 (I think)
Operating System 64-bit
Windows 7 HOme Premium
ServicePack 1
Internet Explorer (latest version)
485 GB FREE of the 687 GB (Used 202GB)
Printers:
HP 8600 All In One
HP M401 Laser
Wireless: Cox Cable (top of the line speed....up to 50)
Problem (NOT the first time this has happened but certainly time to ask questions)
My husband received an email (Yahoo-free email) from PF Changs that he responded to in order to receive a coupon for $10 off a $40 meal. He received the coupon and it had a barcode on it. "no forwards or duplications allowed". When he tried to print the coupon, the coupon printed but WITHOUT the barcode. (Just an "x" in a box)....but, could still SEE the barcode on the computer screen.
He wrote PF Changs......who sent him a direct link to the coupon with the barcode (with their apologies, of course). Same problem. Will print the coupon but no barcode PRINTED. (This may be because PF Chang's program recognizes that his email has already been used for a coupon? Don't know!)
Things tried to fix:
I tried several things to fix the issue but the only thing that worked to get the barcode was to PrtScrn and paste to a WORD document and then print the WORD document. I am sure that PF Changs won't accept that form of barcode. Regardless, we still have the issue of getting the computer to send the entire information to the printer.
He sent me the original email that I then clicked on and requested a coupon. I received the coupon in MY email (Yahoo-paid service) and it printed without any problem. I have a DELL computer.
He also sent me the email that HE recieved with the barcode in it. I could also print THAT one. However, his original email that he sent to me with the barcoded coupon, now shows up with "x" in the box. (forwards not allowed, so I think this wipes HIS coupon out.)
We are using the same wireless, same email provider (Yahoo) and the same printers. (HP8600)
He is ready to throw out his HP computer but I think it is a setting that I can't figure out which to change. He has had problems several times with Adobe Reader, PDF, and printing emails....and windows that won't open at all.
Any ideas?

To make the icon the default view of attachements, do the following:
Use the Terminal to set the preference.
Terminal is in Applications>Utilities. Open Terminal and type:
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool yes
That will make every attachment you send act like an attachment instead of a pretty unusable decoration.
If you decide this isn’t what you’re looking for, to restore inline attachment viewing type:
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool false
Restart Mail and you’re back to normal.

If you're using the Printer Pro app, you're not going to use AirPrint services.
They are not the same thing.
Are you using the 'Open In' option to get the email into Printer Pro for printing?

Once installed, Printer Pro appears in the "Open In..." list on your device. This lets you print documents from Mail, Safari, ReaddleDocs and many other applications on your iPad that supports this function.
Using "Open In..." approach you can print files from many popular online storages: Dropbox, MobileMe iDisk, GoogleDocs. It just a matter of several taps to download your file via free Dropbox, iDisk or Google Docs application and send it to printer.

HP laserjet Pro M201dw won't print emails... Help Shlomil

Hoping Shlomil will help me again... same printer and setup .. with Mac Air 10.10 .. wont print emails but does other printing.. on print screen won't show document - so prints blank page .. for other printers selected it shows documents and prints.
Also.. finding that it seems to go back to single sided and uncheck the duplex. I have to check each time to make sure all setting as okay for it to work on documents. Of course.. this does not apply to email issue noted above. Email using Mac Mail.

Select Are there any limitations when using ePrint? ePrint does not support duplexing (printing on both sides of the page).
If they are using a Eprint App, it may print two-sided if the printer supports it.

How do I print emails?

I am able to print documents, pictures, but I can't print emails. I get a print out of outlook.com-my email address, date and time
on the top of the page, the body of the emaIl is blank, at the bottom of the page there is what looks like the web address where
the email was printed from.
I have tried to cut n paste the emails to notes, but can't figure out how to cut n paste, I don't have an apple
keyboard yet.

Im not sure what the Mac Mail app is, what I'm using is outlook.com.
Is the Mac Mail app the icon at the bottom of my dash board that looks like a stamp
with a flying eagle or hawk? It says mail when I hold my cursor over it.
When Im printing Im viewing the mail message.

How do I print email from IPad to wi-fi printer?

60-something REALLY Non-techie here with IPad wifi printing question. I think I successfully enabled the wifi print option on my Epson work force 3520 all in one Wi Fi printer. I printed the Epson Check network connection sheet, the Epson Status Sheet, and a Google cloud print page that says Printer registration complete and that my printer was successfully registered to my Google username. On my Epson status sheet where it says Google cloud print, out beside it, it says Disable. Not sure if this is a toggle, meaning it is now enabled or ??? I want to print email messages from my IPad mail but i don't have a clue what to do next. How do I do this? Thanks so much!

I see an Epson WF-3520 on the list of Airprint printers.
However, there is no Epson WorkForce 3520 on the list.
It appears from the list that there is a difference.
Do you have a WF-3520 or a WorkForce 3520 ?

Type size in printed email

How can I increase the font size when I print email? It is printing
with a 4 or 5 point font.

I have an idea of how to fix that.
While in the web page there are these buttons: Reply, Reply All, Forward, Spam, Print, Delete. And it looks like users can move selected e-mail messages to different folder.
#1 In your web browser, make the text as small/large as you want to.
If I am using IE, I can go to:
a) View -> Zoom
b) View -> Text Size.
If I am using Fire Fox, I can go to:
View -> Zoom
I have No squint, as an add-on for Fire Fox.
#2 In your web browser go to File -> Print.
Also:
#1 Depending on the message: You can highlight the message.
#2 In your web browser go to Edit -> Copy.
#3 In another program, like OpenOffice you go to Edit -> Paste.
#4 In that other program, you adjust the text to the correct size.
#5 Then you go to File -> Print.

Change page margins to print email

Is there any way to change the page margins when printing emails? When I print out an email, the page margins are a good 1" on top, left and bottom so I have to reduce the type in order to keep simple emails on one sheet of paper.

I am having the same issue - I have orders coming in by email that I need to print out as order tickets. In the email I have the submissions set to come in as html tables, all of a uniform size. I want to print 4 per page, and can do that by selecting emails, "Print", and then 4 pages per sheet in the print settings and it gives me 4 unique orders on one sheet. But the giant standard margins make it so the submission tables are way too small and I don't want the email header information displayed. This really doesn't seem like too much to ask, I hope it's not really as impossible as all the forums make it seem! BDAqua, you mentioned possibly making a script for this?
Side note - the order submissions are generated from my form on Jotform. This is a great form builder, at least in my first-time experience, but seems lacking in output options - reports can only be generated as tables, and on the web-based submission viewer the print options are extremely limited as well.
Any ideas? I'm running 10.9 and I know this is a 10.4 forum, but there's not much on this anywhere else and it doesn't seem like mail has changed much in this regard. Thanks!

Yosemite hide contact photo in mail print

In the new mail app of Yosemite, you can hide your contact photos in the message list, but not in the actual message.
When I want to print out some emails from work, I don't want that the contact photo appears in the right corner. Even if there is no contact photo attached, it gives a grey circle with the persons initials. It just doesn't look professional on a printed email.
Is there a way around this?

Automator Workflow for Mail Printing?????

How can I print out all all mail (250 emails) in a single mailbox into a single file, which I can save as a PDF?
I looked even for an Automator workflow that would
Print; Preview: Save As
so that I would then have a serires of PDFs that I could then import all the individual PDF pages in to Acrobat to create a single document, but Automator does not have these options.
Any thougt would be very helpful. Thanks!!

I don't believe you can do it the first way.
However there are at least three ways to do it the second way.
1) Use System Events GUI scripting exclusively to drive the user interface i.e., selecting menu items and pushing buttons;
2) Use some of 1) along with Mail's AppleScripting capabilities. GUI scripting would still be needed for Preview as it does not have AppleScript capabilities;
3) Install the cups-pdf solution called "Virtual Printer" (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/20219) that allows one to create pdf files from anything that can be printed using the print dialog. This would also have to be driven using one or both of GUI scripting and Applescript.
If you do a lot of PDF printing then I would recommend 3) and generally 1) is less robust than 2). Myself or others on this forum should be able to help with whichever solution you prefer.

Hi Udaya,
Try to maintain a default printer for a particular user in t-code SU01 (on Defaults tab -> Output Device).
Then, when you print again it will generate a spool order for chosen printer (can check on t-code SP01).

Unable to print emails

I keep getting a message I needed to upgrade my printer driver to match the operating system. I did that and now I can not print e-mails. When I go to print an e-mail, the print page come up but it will not load the print preview or allow the page to print. I can print just fine from Word or Internet.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are not able to print emails to your HP Officejet L7780 with your Computer running the Windows 8.1 Operating system. When you attempt to print an email it asks you to update the driver, which you did with no success. You are able to print from all other programs with no problems.
1. Have you tried to print the email from another Web Browser, Internet Explorer, Firefox etc?
2. How did you update the software, did you uninstall and reinstall using the CD or software download?
3. Who is your Email provider, Hotmail, AOL etc?
I would like you to run the HP Print and Scan Doctor > www.hp.com/go/tools
