E-Mail print error; check SmartForm or printer definition

Hi Team,
We are facing an issue when we try to print the email in SAP CRM 7.0. Getting an error saying -Mail print error; check SmartForm or printer definition.
Any pointers on this how this can b resolved will be of great help.
Have gone through the similar sdn thread, not able to really understand how the issue was resolved.

Hi Udaya,
Try to maintain a default printer for a particular user in t-code SU01 (on Defaults tab -> Output Device).
Then, when you print again it will generate a spool order for chosen printer (can check on t-code SP01).

Error in smartform when printing multiple pages

Hi,
I m using a smartform which have two pages in it,
i m able to save and activate it without any error message and when i run the function module generated to chk my smartform
it runs fine and diplays two pages i m using.
but as i m attaching this form with my driver program it is giving an error message while running . the error message is " No other output defined in main window."
Please help me out to resolve the issue.

Mail delivery error with 5510 e-print. updates and connection are ok. friend has same problem.

I have checked all of the updates and connections for my new printer. As far as I can tell, I've checked everything that needs to be checked and all is good. But, I still get the Mail Delivery error when e-printing. And my friend has the same problem with her new 5510 b111a. What could possibly be the problem? Regular printing, scanning and so on work fine with my wireless connection.

So it sounds like it may be an Issue with the provided Email Address from your internet service provider, you are sending from ,
What i would suggest as a test is to create a Email account either with g mail and or yahoo, and try to send the email to your eprint account/Email, and see if it accepts the email also, make sure you have your printer set to Accept email from all users you can do this by logging into Eprint Center and then going into these settings and selecting that option

Printer setup when SMARTFORM is printing

Hello guys.
I have a problem with smartform printing, when I make it, there is screen with printing input parameters like OutputDevice, Copies, Page selection, Print immediatelly etc. All of this parameters are stored in SSFCOMPOP structure, but there is no information about Frontend printer...
Frontend printer option I can confugure by RSPO_FRONTEND_PRINTERS_FOR_DEV fm, but there is a problem, how can I "send" it to smartform?

Any network printer can be defined as a SAPprinter and choose as output device.
And I know examples of output mailed as PDF:s instead of printed.
Sorry, but I don't know any way to choose LOCL printer in SAP as output device and then decide which PC printer I want to use.

Printer Error with Shared USB printer

Greetings;
I have just installed my HP 7760 on my new G5, and I am attempting to print via shared usb to my G3 Imac which is running 10.3.9 I have used this setup lots in the past but with both MAC's running 10.3.9, Now all I get is "Print Error"!
I can see the shared printer on the G3 and select it on the G5 but it just results in a print error when I attempt to print.
Any thoughts would be most helpful

Many thanks for your interest in my problem. I have done the following;
1. Installed the latest drivers from HP on both machines
2. Removed and then added the printer.
3. Repaired permissions on both computers and restarted.
This seems to be related to 10.4.3 as I have read some references to this in other threads. Prior to the G5 with 10.4.3 I was printing with the G3'es under 10.3.9 using USB sharing with no problems. I have no problem printing from either computer when the printer is connected directly and I can see the shared printer in printer setup and have no problem selecting it however I am still getting the "print error" when printing to the shared printer.
I am going to try one more experiment, I no have the printer connected directly to the G5 with printer sharing turned on. I will try to print to it from the G3and see what happens. I will post the results when complete.

Printer error :Unable to open printer (read failure)!

I always could normally print anything via my printer Canon MP260. This printer is connected to the Apple Time Capsule. I print wireless from the imac. Since yesterday it will not print anymore and I get the following error message: Unable to open printer (read failure)!
I hope someone can help me

Try a reset of the printing system. This will require you to add the printer queue again but you will not need to run the driver installation again.
*How to Reset the Printing System*
1. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse (or right click if supported).
4. Click "Reset printing system ..."
5. Restart your Mac

Photosmart 6510 Printer error/Blue screen on printer display Code:B864F472

I'm having a reoccurring problem with my HP Photosmart 6510 all-in-one. The printer will stay on for about five minutes, give or take, and proceed to flash a blue screen (on printer display) with error code B864F472
Next the screen displays a "Printer Error" message followed by "Please turn printer off and then on" with all lights on the printer flashing.
It will display this until I cycle the power and it repeats the same behavior after about five minutes.
I've searched extensively for a solution and have tried multiple things. Such as:
-Unplugging from back of printer and wall, 30 sec wait then plug back in.
-Clean cartridge and print header contacts.
-Set static IP.
-Printed various reports from service mode, No errors, Excellent signal strength.
-Connected to laptop through USB.
-Partial reset, Semi-Full reset.
-Reinstalled drivers on all computers.
-Updated firmware/software on printer itself.
-Ran HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-Reset Router
I'm at a loss now. The unit is just over a year old. I have two laptops and a desktop on the same network. Two computers running Windows 8.1 64-bit and the other Windows 7 64-bit.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Printing error in smartform

I designed a smartform for purchase order,if the form has 10 materials in it the taxes are also printing individually for each material...for example if 10 materials in that form has cess,bed,ecess ,the taxes are printing individually for each material.But the taxes should be printed single time for all materials.can anyone help me regrding this.

For each taxe amount u need to append the final table,,,Then it will show for each material all the taxes will come...let me know if u hav any queries

Message 'printing error' and termination of printing after first page

Each time i try to print anything, that is more than one page long, it successfully completes the first page of printing and then terminates printing part way through the second page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and done all of the troubleshooting that i can access but i am still having the same problem.
I am printing wirelessly from my laptop.
Can anyone help me to understand why this is happening and what I can do to rectify it?

Not sure how to check if we do have OPI comments on some of the images, but looks like I have found a solution to the printing problem at least.

The symptoms could describe document corruption rather than network issues which might fall into the category of things that can be cleared up through export to .inx.
Try exporting one or two of the problem files to interchange format, open those and save as new .indd and make a new book file. See if that behaves differently across the network.
I also found another article about INX files, that confirms this technique:

So, I
1. exported all files, one by one to INX or InDesign InterChanged
2. Then reopened those files, saved back as regular .indd files
3. Reopend the new file (hoping for a refreshed file and test to see if it would open without problems.)
4. Then packed the files indevidually and reopend the new packed files when done.
Alle the files now print without any problems but export to PDF still fails with the same error message.
Would the OPI comment be a problem here maybe?

Error message "General printer error 0x6100000f6 refer to printer documentation - press OK

I have done every thing per instructions but can not find error 0x6100000f6. Driving me berserk. I am not computer savvy and at a loss what to do. The cartridge holder does not go to the center when I open door. It stays to the right . I have been crying I am so frustrated. Marie

You can contact HP to find out about authorized repairs. Make sure that all of the doors and latches are shut properly and do one last thorough check before you call. It does not take a very big piece of paper or broken part to really mess things up. I have seen a piece of paper the size of a postage stamp (in the right place) stop all printing.

Hp officejetpro 8500A Plus printer error says to turn printer off then on - all lights blinking

I am receiving an error (no number). The message says to turn printer off then on again, all lights are blinking on and off. After
turning printer on and off it is ok for a short period then the error starts all over again and I have to turn the printer on and off again.

HP printer error: computer is no longer able to communicate

I have an OfficeJet L7680 and a G5 iMac running OS 10.5.8. And for the last six months, every time I installed new software or hardware ANYWHERE the printer stopped communicating with displayed this message in the print queue window:
"Communication Failure: The computer is no longer able to communicate with your printer. Turn the printer off, check your printer connections and check for printer errors, and turn the printer back on"
The standard 'fix' on this is to manually un-install the print driver and reinstall it. After doing this 3X on 3 computers, I discovered that running HP Setup Assistant seems to fix the problem -- so far, anyway.
I know that many people have had this problem with generations of OS/X and HP printers, so I hope this is helpful.

I just had a similar problem. I had a hard drive going bad and put in a new one and used time machine to recover from. For what ever reason I started getting the safe error message when I tried to print. The only solution I found that would work was to delete all of the printers and then reload.
Strange to say the least. I have never really had any printer problems.

Macintosh OS10. Photosmart c309 had a paper jam. It was cleared, but now I get the screen message "general printer error - check printer documentation." Please help.

There are a couple of possibilities here. One, the printer could simply need reset. Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord for 30 seconds, connect power cord and turn it back on.
If that does not fix it, there may something related to the jam you experienced internally. Something could be slightly out of place or a small piece of debris inside. Use the information in this document, it could help with the details:

HP Envy 4500 All in One - Printer Error - not finishing print job / non-specific error code

Help - my new HP ENVY 4500 AIO (less 3 months old) has never completed a print job if it is over 1 page. I'm connected wirelessly, and not sure if there is an interruption in the wireless connection or if this is defect in the printer. I receive a message "Printer Error - HP ENVY cancelling print job" and that's it. It will usually happen when it's on the last page of a small print job or half way thru a large (10+ page) of a print job. Any suggestions? I've downloaded HP Print/Scan Dr - it didn't find any issues.

I had the same issue. Got in contact with HP customer service and the first person that helped had no idea how to fix it. Got in contact with someone else and they found the issue right away. I had it connected through the wrong port.
First find out what the IP address of your printer is. You can do this by pressing the small wifi button on the front of your printer and it will show the IP address.
Then what you'll have to do is go to the start menu of your computer and search for "Devices and Printers".
Click that and a screen will open. Look for your printer an right click.
Click "Printer Properties" and a new screen will open.
Along the top you will see a few tabs. Click the one that says "Ports"
Click "Add Port"
Highlight "Standard TCP/IP Port" by clicking on it, then click "New Port"
A new screen will open.
Click "Next"
Type in the IP Address of your printer and click "Next"
After that your computer should find your printer.
Click finish and you should be all set.
