    Hi
In credit Management,Automatic credit control ,if  a customer is blocked due to credit limit ,can these details be send to credit manager & credit representative through internal mail immediatley & automatically .
can any one guide me through the configuration setting required like message determination ,and credit representative & credit manager determination .
    thanks
    shashi

    Hi Shashi,
    Yes, you can.
In the standard system output type KRML is provided for this.
Use the menu path > IMG> Sales & distribution> Basic functions> Credit Management/Risk Management> Credit Management/risk management settings> Enter settings> double click on output types> select output type KRML.
Make the necessary settings here (like the partner functions- from left hand margin, default values etc.)
The partner function for credit manager is KM and credit rep is KB
Next, make sure the output type KRML is part of the output determination procedure (add this output type to the procedure, if not already there) that is assigned to your sales document type.
Provide your feedback after carrying out theses settings.

  • Credit Management Process based on Terms of Payment.

    Hi All,
My Client wants to use SAP Credit Managment Process. The SAP is currently being used but without Credit Management. As per my initial discussion I have enclosed the requirments below. Your Kind Help will be highly appreciated.
    1.     The Process has to be implemented in a 2 Step Process.
    2.     The Initial Requirement is based on Terms of Payment. If the Number of Days is Overdue for the Invoice for a particular Customer, the system should issue a warning message (in the Form of Mail or any other way) which can be shown as evidence to the Customer for collection of Payment so that further Sales Transactions can take place.
(Is there the standard Process in Credit Management based on Terms of Payment)
    3.     In the next step Value Base Credit Check has to be implemented. The Value will be set for a particular Customer in Credit Master. When the Sales Order is raised and if the Credit Limit is exceeded the System should issue the warning message. Based on the Warning Message Issued an email should triggered to the particular person in Finance that the Credit Limit for a particular person has been exceeded and Credit Limit needs to be increased.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sam.

    Dear Mr F Farooq,
    1. The Process has to be implemented in a 2 Step Process.
Do the following configurations for credit management :
    Refer the following link.
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPLO/CreditManagementConfigaration
Now for this requirement, since different billing documents for the same customer  can have different payment terms (whcih means different billing will be due on different date) , please make the following changes in OVA8
    Check for 'oldest open item'
Now follow my reply in the below thread.
Sales order to be blocked based on customer payment terms and credit limit
You can use WORKFLOW to trigger mail when such a message is triggered in the sales order , due to credit check.
Ask your ABAP-er for details on workflow.
Just configure according to the thread given for 1st POINT.
CHECK FOR DYNAMIC and set reaction as 'C' and check STATUS /BLOCK.
Maintain the credit limit in the FD32.
Now when the sales order value exceeds the credit limit , a message will be triggered.
Use the concept of WORKFLOW to create mail based on this message .
When the user gets mail, he can maintain the new credit limit in FD32 and release the document for delivery/billing in VKM3.
Revert back if there is any issues.

  • Credit management and Terms of Payment

    Hi
Can anybody throw some light on the role of Terms of Payment in .Credit Management.
    Thanks in advance
    Ravi

    Dear sankar ravi,
    Credit management
    Purpose
Outstanding or uncollectible receivables can spoil the success of the company greatly. Credit Management enables you to minimize the credit risk yourself by specifying a specific credit limit for your customers. Thus you can take the financial pulse of a customer or group of customers, identify early warning signs, and enhance your credit-related decision-making. This is particularly useful if your customers are in financially unstable industries or companies, or if you conduct business with countries that are politically unstable or that employ a restrictive exchange rate policy.
    Integration
If you are using the Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) component to manage your accounting and an external system for sales processing, Credit Management enables you to issue a credit limit for each customer. Every time you post an invoice (created in FI-AR), the system then checks whether the invoice amount exceeds the credit limit. Information functions such as the sales summary or early warning list help you to monitor the customer’s credit situation.
If you are using both the Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) component to manage your accounting and the Sales and Distribution (SD) component for sales processing, you can also use Credit Management to issue credit limits for your customers. You can make settings in Customizing to decide the scope of the check and at what stage in the process (for example, order entry, delivery or goods issue) a credit limit should take place. General information functions are also available for use with credit checks.
    Features
If you are using both the SD and FI-AR components, Credit Management includes the following features:
Depending on your credit management needs, you can specify your own automatic credit checks based on a variety of criteria. You can also specify at which critical points in the sales and distribution cycle (for example, order entry, delivery, goods issue) the system carries out these checks.
During order processing, the credit representative automatically receives information about a customer’s critical credit situation.
Critical credit situations can also be automatically communicated to credit management personnel through internal electronic mail.
Your credit representatives are in a position to review the credit situation of a customer quickly and accurately and, according to your credit policy, decide whether or not to extend credit.
You can also work with Credit Management in distributed systems; for example if you were using centralized Financial Accounting and decentralized SD on several sales computers.
    Hope this helps you.
Do award points if you found them useful.
    Regards,
    Rakesh
P.S. you can send me a mail at my mail id [email protected] for any specific details

    Anjan Kumar Jha

    Hi Anjan
It is the aim of every credit policy to reduce the risk represented by customer receivables.
Along with Credit Management, several other ‘Payment Guarantee Forms’ within the
business processes are explored. These include letters of credit and payment cards.
These ‘payment guarantee forms’ differ in the level of security they can offer and are all
    integrated within Risk Management.
When a payment guarantee is used (for example, a letter of credit), the system first tries to
provide the optimum in risk minimization. If this is not possible, then Credit Management in
a second step is used to create a credit limit and therefore restrict the level of risk.
Letters of credit are used predominantly for large -scale export transactions, whereas cre dit
while Cards are more important for Retail transactions.
You create a Letter of credit by using VX11 after creating that you assign that in billing tab of sales order in risk Management Financial doc number.
keep in mind the incoterms of Letter of Credit and Sales order should be same.

  • Credit Management- KRML Output not generated for Sales Order ( v.v.u.)

<u>Credit Management - Credit control check at Sales order Level</u>
While saving the Sales order, which failed the Credit check ( As per Automatic Credit Check Settings), there is no output generated for output type KRML, for Partner Fn KB/KM. Normally,If credit check is NOK, then while saving the sales order, an internal mail is sent to the SAP office inbox of the Credit representative ( KB/KM). There is option for an external send also. The problem faced by us is that, the mail is not going in SAP Office inbox in quality server , it is going in developement server. We checked in table NAST that the Output for KRML (o/p type) is not generated. Kindly suggest what could be the reason.

Thank you for your valuable reply.
At the Extra-Output-Header-edit-goto-det analysis ,system give message as KRML o/p is not generated since Requirement 009 is not being fulfilled. But we checked the VBUK-CMGST = B is satisfied. Still the o/p not generated!
Also , in VV11 we maintained the Cond Records. Still the o/p is not coming.
The output is coming in Devlopment , but in Quality the output is not coming.

  • Practical Usage/Role of KB/KM (Credit Management) in Sales & DeliveryOrder

    Hi
I know that KM /KB are included in Sales Order / Delivery Header Partner Functions .
Want to know the PRACTICAL USAGE  for eg  Suppose Order is Created for Amt Rs 10000, what role KB /KM which r included in order partner function will play ( mail/ etc )
The standard system contains the partner functions credit representative (KB) and credit manager (KM) for credit processing. Both partner functions are allocated to partner type "PE". The credit manager is one level higher than the credit representative. Enter these partner functions in the partner determination procedures of the sales document header and the delivery header so that the partners involved in credit processing  can be allocated and identified. Assign value "A" to the partner functions in the Access field.

  • Credit management - WortkFlow

    Hi,
Can you please tell me how do i Configure Credit management in WorkFlow.
It is for approval of certain orders from the supervisor.
Can u please share some some documents relating to credit management WorkFlow
Using Business object BUS1010      Customer credit limit do you i can do the same.
    Please guide and help.
    Regards,
    Satish

    Hi !
In the sales order, you can use the partner determination to find a credit representative (partner role CR) and/or a credit manager (partner role CM). If a document is blocked by the automatic credit control, a mail containing this information can be automatically sent to the credit representative or the credit manager. The document can be released directly out of the mail.
For this purpose, the following settings must be made:
    1.  User master record (SU01)
A user master record must be created for the person who should receive the e-mail.
    2.  HR master record (VPE1 or PAL3)
You must create an HR master record for credit representatives or credit managers. If you do not use Human Resources in the R/3 system, you can create a sales representative. In infotype 0105 'Communication', the user master record is linked to the HR master record. Store the user ID for communication type 0001 'System user name SAP system (SY-UNAME)'.
    3.  Partner determination Customizing (VOPA)
In the partner determination procedure, the origin is set for the CR and/or CM roles. As a source, you can use the customer master record of the payer (partner role PA). In the customer master record, maintain entries for roles KB or KM.
Or you can set origin A ('Credit management: Credit representative (table T024P)' as a source. Maintain relevant entries in the T024P table (transaction OB51). For this variant, user master record, HR master record and the link between both of these must also exist (Points 1 and 2).
    4.  Output determination
In the output determination procedure, you must define output type KRML 'Credit processing'. Create an output master record for the KRML output type, for medium 7 'SAP Office' and event 4 'Send immediately (when saving the application)'. Double-click to go to the detail of the output master record and define a dummy recipient for the output. Then go to 'Goto
         -> Execution parameters'.
Sales order: Define transaction VKM3 and parameter ID AUN with the value VBAK-VBELN. Save the output master record.
Delivery: Define transaction VKM5 and parameter ID VL with the value LIKP-VBELN. Save the output master record.
An output of type KRML is not found and generated until you save the document. This is implemented with the help of a requirement that is defined in the output determination procedure for the KRML output type. In the standard system, the 009 requirement (Order) and the 010 requirement (Outbound delivery) are used.
Check the following points if no mail is sent despite the settings being made as described above:
    1.  Check that, on header level, the system found partners for the KB or KM functions.
    2.  Check whether the message of the KRML type was created and is the same as the processing status of the message.
    3.  Check that the used requirement is fulfilled.
Requirement 009 and 010: The credit status should have changed to blocked (VBUK-CMGST = 'B') and the next item due for the shipping should appear within the next 2 days. When changes are made to a document from VKM* transactions, the requirement is not fulfilled and no message is created.
    4.  Check whether, in the general office settings (SAPoffice), you are allowed to send to organizational units (here personnel number) (Tab "Addressing", flag "Organizational entity" = '''X''').
    5.  Check in the SAP Business Workplace if the determined recipient of the output really has not received the e-mail.
    Regards,
    Andreas

  • What is credit management how should we tell

    hi
gurus my question is what is credit management.
    2) If one customer exceeds his credit limit the sales order is blocked in the enduser  system.  WHO will release that order.  Whether enduser called his higher authority by telephone or mailed or it is automatically knows by the superior means who is working in the managerial level working in n.s.o.
    thanks in advance

    hi
The customer’s credit limit is assigned to the customer by going to the Logistics overview screen, Accounting, Financial accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change.
A credit control area is an organizational unit that is comprised of one or more company codes.
Create a credit control area and assign it to a company code in the Enterprise structure under financial accounting.
A customer’s risk category is a grouping category that controls the credit checks when automatic credit control takes place.
In SD credit check can occur in only three places: sales order, delivery and goods issue.
The system can use a simple credit check, static credit check or a dynamic credit check.
The simple credit check is set at the document type level e.g., sales order, delivery etc.
    Simple Credit Check
Assign credit limit check to the sales doc type:
    A – warning message
    B – Error message
    C – Delivery block
    D – Automatic credit control
SAP enables static and dynamic credit checks so that a sales order for a good customer with a low risk credit rating is created and a sales order for a high risk customer with a high risk rating for the same doc type is blocked.
Automatic credit control divides the sales doc types, delivery doc types, and goods issue into specific credit groups.
An outcome procedure is defined using the credit group, the customer’s risk category along with the credit control area.
Risk categories are defined in the FI module.
Create the different credit groups e.g., for sales order, delivery, goods issue.
Assign the credit groups to the sales and delivery doc types.
Now define the settings for automatic credit control -> combination of credit control area, customer’s risk category, and credit group.
All that remains is the assignment of the risk category to the customer master record. This occurs in Finance by going to the Logistics overview screen -> Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change or FD32.
The static credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer.
The dynamic credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders not yet delivered, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer. The dynamic credit check has an attached time period that states that the system is not to include sales orders in the total of outstanding items created after the specified time period.
The credit relevant data is updated into an information structure, where it is accessed and updated. Thus each automatic credit control must be assigned an update group. The system allows for no update, and update group 000012, 000015 and 000018. However, update group 000012 is thorough and used in most businesses.
To view the customer’s credit master sheet, proceed from the logistics screen and go to accounting, financial accounting, accounts receivable, environment, credit management, check, credit master sheet [F.35].

    Hi ravi,
      Notes on Credit mangement
    SAP SD Credit Management
All business have their own credit management needs, SAP allows you to specify your own automatic credit checks based on a variety of criteria.  You can also specify at which critical points in the sales and distribution cycle the system carries out these checks.
    SM30 - Table/View
    V_TVTW - Define Distribution Channel
V_TVTA_KKB - Assign sales area to credit control area
V_T014 - FI - Define Credit Control Area
T001CM - FI - Assign Permitted Credit Control Area to company code
OVXG - Set up Sales Areas
    e.g.  Sales Organization
                      Distribution Channel
                                  Division
                      Distribution Channel
                                  Division
    FD32 - Customer Credit Management
OVAK - Define credit limit check by sales document type
    Check Credit
A - Credit limit check and warning message
B - Credit limit check and error message (no sales order can be created)
C - Credit limit check and delivery block (block delivery if hit credit limit)
Options B and C -> used for checking open order values (when you create/change the sales order)
D - Automatic credit control with open order values
More control in transaction OVA8 - Automatic credit control
You check for open orders and deliveries, or just open deliveries.
or open order values with other options
    Credit group
Allows you to combine different sales document types for the credit limit check
VKM1 - Blocked SD Documents - Finance have to released the delivery block
OVAD - Define credit limit check by delivery order
whether the automatic credit check occurs at the time of delivery creation and/or goods issue
OVA7 - Define credit limit check by item category
Set whether to include/exclude item category for credit limit check
OVA6 - Define credit group. You can groups together different business transactions which should be dealt with in the same manner with regard to the credit check.
You enter the credit groups when you configure the sales document types for credit management and define the (D - automatic credit check).
    SAP default credit groups
01 - credit group for sales order
02 - credit group for delivery
03 - credit group for goods issue
OVA8 - Automatic credit control - Double click on the line items
You can have the followings credit limit check :-
    Static
Depends on the customer total value of open orders, deliveries, billing documents and open items.
    Open items
    No of days open
Overdue open items checks is based on the ratio of open items that are overdue by a certain number of days.
    Max open items %
The customer balance must not exceed a certain percentage.
    Oldest open items
If you don't want to deliver to the customer at all when even only 1 invoice is overdue.
Tick the Check for Oldest Open Item and Set the field Days oldest item = 1.
    Days oldest item
No of days allowed for overdue or payment terms.
Use of the credit check Oldest Open Item. If a user attempts to alter the order quantity of a released sales document
that was previously blocked, it would be reblocked again by the system.  The system only reblocks the sales document if the new order quantity is above a certain % amount.
    Released documents are still unchecked
The preset % is whatever you want to set it as when configuring your automatic credit processing. You enter a deviation % and number of days,eg, you can set it so that an order can be changed by up to 10% within 30 days of original order entry date without it going back on credit block.
    Next Review Date
If a customer has a credit limit of 1000 USD, and you would like to restrict this credit limit only to be available in current month (say March). If the document day is in April then the credit limit is zero.
You can use the "NextReview date" and "Number of days" fields and combined it with the "Last int.review" field in customer credit master "Status" view (FD32).
VOKR - Display of work list for credit management (configure the display variant)
    Free goods determination
Free Goods Determination in Sales Order
Free goods has the following limitations:
    - Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: ‘With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of charge‘ or ‘If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of charge‘.
    - Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).
    - Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
    - Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
    - Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.
    - If you defined a free goods for variants in a generic article (only SAP Retail), you can only process the variants in the purchase order and goods receipt individually (as single articles). In other words, you cannot process them using the generic article matrix.

Not all Sales Order can be used for free goods determination.  You have to check the SD document category if it does not work.  Only category 'C' are supported.  Check transaction VOV8.
Assume that you want to configure an inclusive FREE goods routine.  Customers must order a minumum quantity of 5 before any free goods can be assign.  For every quantity of 3, the customer will be given 1 free goods.

  • Credit Management Partner Functions

    Hi Experts
I know that KM /KB are included in Sales Order / Delivery Header Partner Functions  for Credit Management.
Want to know the PRACTICAL USAGE for eg Suppose Order is Created for Amt Rs 10000, what role KB /KM which r included in order partner function will play ( mail/ etc ) and how will it be used in SAP

Hi Mark thanks for your answer, two additional question,
Can I install SAP Credit Management 6.0 (one system scenario) with in a system with release 6.0 and no ehp packs applied and then activate the Ehp later on after de installation of SAP Credit management?
If my account receivables is in release 6.0, is there any feasible reason to install SAP Credit management 3.0 instead of 6.0?
With SAP Credit management 3.0 in a one system scenario do you still need PI?
    Thanks again.

  • Risk category field is missing in dso for 0fiar_o09 credit management.

    Hi BI Experts,
I am using the standard extractor for the credit management dso 0fiar_o09.  The field for risk category originates from our R3 system in table knkk-ctplc.  It displays correctly in the psa.  The transformation rsds 0fi_ar_9 maps it to 0risk_categ.  It appears as an infoObject in the infoSource.  The trcs transformation maps the rule also.
However, when I try to display the data in the dso, the risk category field does not display at all.
Please help with any possible suggestions to display the missing field.
    Kind regards,
    Cheryl Adamonis

I resolved this issue by removing the check in the  'attribute only' selection on the general tab of the infoObject.

  • Letter of Credit functionality and Credit Management

    Hi,
we want to use Letter of Credit functionality for exports.
Currently, we have an ERP system that contains the sales data. In a separate system we have the credit management functionality (Financial Supply Chain Mgt - FSCM).
When order is created, the credit limit is checked in the FSCM system (via PI messages).
Now, we want to link some of the Sales orders with Letter of Credit. I believe, this is standard functionality in GTS.
So when Sales Order is created a LOC should be connected to this.
Can the GTS be connected also to FSCM credit management, so credit limit is not affected?
    Example:
Sales Order value: 1 Mio USD
10% down-payment  >   this would be in the credit exposure visible (net exposure).
90 % covered through LOC  > credit exposure should showing this, or it shows order value and in a negative figure this amount deducted so no effect on exposure.
Down-payment has no relation to LOC. When money is received for this the net exposure of the sales order is 0.
partial invoice: 0.4 Mio USD > it should be possible to link this invoice to the LOC. The posting FI document should have some LOC information, so when payment comes in the amount in LOC is reduced as well as in credit management this open.
Final invoice 0.5 USD: as above, all values go out from exposure if there are any.
A second case would be guarantees, where there is no reduction of values. This would stay same.
Anyone who can advise a solution here?
    Thanks + Regards
    Hein

Letter Of Credit can be used as a standard solution of SAP GTS with ERP solution. Yes you can connect both SAP & no SAP systems with GTS, but plugins, PI etc needs to be built in. But it would not be real time like RFC works. There are some standard available which needs to be hard coded to meet specific requirements.
Connecting LOC to Sales Order, invoice etc, is manual, based on business specific parameters and it comes standard with SAP GTS. Maintaining Values & Quantity of LOC based on actual LOC from bank is also possible. The depreciation of values & quantities is also standard with in LOC in GTS.
You can also setup various communication methods for LOC.
I think when Invoice is raised and payment is received the LOC should be closed in the system. There can also be other scenarios where in system determines LOC based on predefined logics for determination strategy put in to the GTS system.
    Cheers,

  • Open Sales Order Values in Credit Managment

    Hi,
    1. I want to include the open sales orders that were created before implementing the functionality of  Credit Managment.  How to check the credit limits for that sales orders.
Fro Example. If i want do the credit checks for 1000 open sales orders.
    2. How to reset the customer credit limit in FD32. I tried using the t.code f.28, but it will not be reset to zero(0).
    Thank you,
    Ravi

    Hello Ravi,
You can try this: in table VBAK, you might have the date when this a particular order was created( ERDAT or sometihng like that..). You'll have to join table VBAK/VBAP/VBRK(billing table)/VBFA and the logic should be that the program should pick up all the orders created before 1 yr and should also check that the items are not rejected, and the delivery not yet created.
    Check the following fields:
    VBAK-ERDAT, VBAP-ERDAT, VBAP-ABGRU, VBAP-AEDAT.
    Regards,
    Raghu.
