Maintaining IT0014 and IT0015 through Personnel Actions or PA30

Hello,
I have one query. I would like to know the standard practise for maintaining the Infotypes 'Additional Payments' and 'Recurring Payments'. Is it advised to maintain those through Personnel Actions or directly through PA30? My client wants to know what is the good practise?

It depends upon the requirement of the client
Ex: in some of the cases we have food allownace will be the part of Structure and it is irregular income in that case the user has to maintain at the time of the hiring so in that case you have to maitain it in IT0014 and after some time he may ask the user to cancel the allowance and to add the income in special allowance etc
Comeing to to IT0015 it is one time payment in order to decide you have to check with the functionality of the wage type

    The wage types maintained in IT0014 need to be the ones which you need to pay/deduct on regular basis. You would need to ensure the dates cover the period for which you want to make the payment/deduction. For example, a deduction to be made every month for next 6 months.
    On the other hand IT0015 has wage types which require one-off payements. Need to be maintained on a date which falls within the period under which you need to make the payment. For example, project bonus to be paid in month of June.

  • Link between IT0014 and IT0015

    Hi,
       i created one wage type in IT0015 with amount 5000$, So that 5000$ payment made to associate. Now the same i want to recovery as 500$ in 10 installments through IT0014. Can u pls help me how will create the link between IT0014 and IT0015 for the advance wage type?

    Please follow the below steps:
    1. Copy the WT (XXX1) from MD70 as a Balance WT
    2. Copy the WT (XXX2) from MD80 as a Recovery WT
    3. Copy the WT (XXX3) from MD90 as a Total WT
    4. Maintain the link in the table V_T51P1:
      indicator 10: Recovery WT to Balance WT
      Indicator 11: Balance WT to Total WT
    After you Paid the Advance Just decide the installments star date and amount and then maintain
    1. WT XXX2 in IT0014 with same start date (End date can be 31.12.9999) (Installment amount needs to be maintained)
    2.WT XXX1 in IT0015 with same start date (One time entry only) (the Advance amount needs to be maintained)
    3. WT XXX3 no need to maintain in any info type AND just you run the payroll ,system will deduct all installments until the total advance will deduct.

  • No infotype found in personnel action

    hello,
            i hv created one action in PA(personnel administration). I wanted that action has to come in pa40 screen. so i changed the uger group in the parameter coloumn. but while saving i saw an error message. it did not allow me to save. it was showing error in another coloumn. without checking wht is that coloumn i deleted the coloumn. After that acrion came in pa40. but after hiring a person it is showing no infotype is maintained. even if i go for the standard actin type it is saying no infotype is maintained and it coming out of the screen. i have checked all the configurations. every thing is fine. earlier with a standard action i hired a person, everything was fine then.
    plz find me the solution soon.

    Dear Sudha
    Check whether user groups are maintained properly.
    Secondly, check whether you have created Infogroups and assigned the infotypes in Sequence.
    Also check whether you have maintained Infogroup properly against the Personnel Actions.

  • HR Headcount and Personnel Actions(0PA_C01) std routines not working

    I have loaded data for Headcount and Personnel Actions(0PA_C01) cube. Here the fields below mentioned are not populating data which are with standard routines. I checked code and also gone through sdn and also with SAP notes but every thing ok.
    We are working with support package 16.
    0AGE,
    0AGE_RANGE,
    0GT_PLAND(country key),
    0COUNTRY_CODE,
    0GENDER,
    0NATION,
    0PERSLANGU,
    0POSTAL_CD(Postalcode),
    0REGION,
    0MAST_CCTR,
    0CNTRCTTYPE(Contract Type),
    0PAYPCT_CHA(Capacity Utilization level in %),
    0HDCNT_FTE(Head Count FTE).
    Can u please give me your views to populate data to the above mentioned fields.
    Here 0GENDER,0NATION,0PERSLANGU,0POSTAL_CD(Postalcode),0REGION are attribute of 0PERSON and in turn is an attribute of 0EMPLOYEE. I can able to see data individually from both 0PERSON and 0EMPLOYEE. but i want to see data attribute data of 0PERSON in 0EMPLOYEE.
    Is it possible? If possible Can you please Explain me?

    Adjusted transfer rules, so now standard routines are correctly populating fields.
    I have doubt on two fields of cube,
    keyfigures: capacity utilization level
                     head count FTE which is (capacity utilization level / 100)
    Is capacity utilization level  field in BI is equivalent to R/3 Staffing Percentage field ?
    (The staffing percentage indicates which percentage of an employee's time is to be spent in the position entered). If not what field in R/3 is equivalent to capacity utilization level .

    This is a connection problem with wifi.   Either your wifi is failing, or your internet service is not fast enough for video feed.

    What is the relationship between MSS and Personnel Action (PA40)? Can a manager that have access to mss perform personnel action (eg Organizational Transfer) for his/her subordinate employees? Thanks

    Yes as indicated above use processes and forms which are standard delivered and mimic the pa40
    you can create your own forms just like actiions

  • EG,ESG and personnel actions for multiple comapny

    Dear All,
    we are implementing SAP HCM for 2 countries (dubai and Pakistan both are same country grouping =99) in dubai they have 4 companies(4.Personnel Area's)with 4 company code. and in Pakistan ,they have 3 company's( Personnel Area's)
    My question is. each company's in Pakistan have different EG and ESG and also each company have different Personnel Actions,( some actions are not applicable to other PA for an example.. Transfer action  is not applicable to other PA in pakistan company
    How can i create diferent Employee gorup and employee sub group for each comapny (i mean for each personnel Area?

    Hi,
    ARU is correct.  The Personnel Areas are part of the Enterprise Structure and define an organization by location, product line, function, etc.  Employee Group/Subgroup are in the Personnel Structure and define the types of employees - hourly, salaried, sales, director, vice president, full time, part time, etc.  The Employee Groups/Subgroups, however, are country specific and in table T503Z can be assigned to one or more countries.  Thus, you could have certain Employee Group/Subgroups valid for Dubai and certain ones for Pakistan, but not between Personnel Areas if in the same country. 
    Also as responded to above, you can control the actions by User Group and have actions called the same have different infotypes or not appear at all based on the User Group assignment of the processor.

    I mean Maintain Infotypes-View Cluster MAintenance Data- T778T,T777T &
    MainTain  Personnel Actions- View Cluster MAintenance Data- T778M, T777M.
    i have check the following path to check the infotype & the Personnel Actions in SPRO>>Personnel Management > Organization management >Basic setting >> but therse is no setting as such.
    And thses are the settings which has been transfered to QA ,what are the Impleication these setting going to have in QA once they are vailable in QA>>>Om Setting ,i mean when i create the OM Stracture In OM through-PP01.

  • Restrict Personnel area for executing personnel actions

    Hello,
    Guys I need your help on the following issue. Any help will be appreciated.
    The project Which i am working on has 67 Personnel Areas (PA) and 24 personnel actions.
    I need to create a role in such a way the the user will be accessing some 4-5 actions for 1 particular PA. Now I know this can be done in the authorization object P_ORGIN. But i can only give one value of PA to one particular role.
    Now the long and tedious solution for me is to create 67 different roles. I need a simple and easy to maintain solution for this.
    Again any help will be appreciated.

    I am already done with the infogroups using user groups. What the client now require is to restrict a user in executing personnel action for one particular personnel area.
    I know this can be done through roles but there are 67 Personnel areas and 7 different levels of user (you do the math)
    Is there a easier way out??

  • Mail triggering for any personnel Action

    Hi Experts,
    Whenever any Personnel Action is carried out for an employee an mail should be automatically triggered to the Personnel Administrator, Payroll and Time Administrator.
    I tried through dynamic actions but it didnt work cananyone help me in this aspect.

    Hi Smitha,
    Through dynamic action mail will not go to all admins  which have been maintained in IT0001. You need to do few set up.
    1. Fist maintain code for all admin in T526 table.
    2. Then assign PersAdmin, Time admin and payroll admin in IT0001 for all employees which can be loaded thru LSMW.
    3. Mail ID and user ID should be maintained in IT0105 and sub tyoe 0001, 0010 for all admin which have been maintained in T526
    3. Create notification text thru SO10
    4. Create distribution list thru SBWP
    5. Then assign text & Distribution list in your custom feature which is copied from M0001
    6. In the feature maintain give X mark for RECV1 (Pers Admin), RECV2 (payroll admin), RECV3 (Time admin).
    7. Then call this feature in dynamic action
    Then notification will trigger to all admin. Revert for further clarification.

    by Actions do you mean Actions infotype or object actions in OM which are accessed through PP03?
    Personnel Actions - These help you maintain data by providing a serious of infotypes which you define through infogroup.
    Actions (IT0000) - This is the table that maintains the action data and reasons along with statuses
    Objection Actions is similar to Personnel actions - here while maintaining objects such as position or org units etc you are provided with a serious of infotypes which you can maintain.

  • HR personnel contract interface (Personnel action)

    Hi,
    We have an application and we want to connect this with SAP HR through an interface. The application will create contracts of new employees. The solution we have planned is create a batchinput and choose the infotypes we wanted through the infogroup of every Personnel Action we want to execute in PA40.
    That's very difficult and we don't know if exists other possibilites.
    Have you any idea about what we should do for implenting this? ¿There is an alternative to batch-input? ¿We should work throug infogroups?

  • Query on Personnel Actions

    I have a few personnel actions like "Trainee Extension", "Probation Extension", where I should allow the user to change the training period or probation period. In which infotype should I store this data, so that I can include it in the corresponding personnel action?
    Also, I have a personnel action called "Separation", where I should allow the user to choose an employee group like resigned, retired etc and also allow him to enter the date of separation. I know that the employee group can be changed in infortype 0001, but what about date of separation? Is it the "To" date in Action infotype screen?

    Hi,
    In create reason for personal action under Hiring Action/ the action under which you want to see this reason there give  Trainee Extension", "Probation Extension" and save.
    Run pa40 with personal number and give the date on which the action is taking place and gohead.
    And for seperation you have to run action in pa40 and has to give the date of seperation and save dont go to pa
    30 and click on edit and change the date in IT 0001
    Makesure any action shld be run through pa40

    I'm new to the forum and just started learning SAP HCM
    Need your help in running Personnel Actions.
    I have setup the Personnel Actions using the following nodes from SPRO:
    1. User Group Dependency on Menus and Info Groups- Menu type G
    2. Info group modifier - IGMOD feature
    3. Define Infogroups
    4. Set up Personnel Actions
    5. Create Reasons for Personnel Actions
    6. User Group Dependency on Menus and Info Groups- Menu type M
    7. Change Action Menu
    Also, I have setup Internal Number Ranges and maintained NUMKR feature.
    ERROR:
    When I run the Personnel Actions (PA40) the system is not assigning the personnel number in IT0000. After saving this infotype, it moves to 'Create Actions' screen. Here the status bar displays the error as u201CNo infotype found. Maintain infogroup modifier/ user groupu201D
    Please guide.

    for your information
    menu type M should be 1(Actions) or any thing that you have defined.
    here you will give
    UGR seq.no action type action text
    xx     21     M1     Hiring
    xx     22     M2     xxxx
    xx     23     M3     xxxxx
    xx     24     M4     xxxx
    menu type G is Info group
    menu type M is Personnel action menu
    menu type G you will group the infotypes and make the infogroup. and this infogroup is inserted into menu type M(personnel actions menu)
    what ever the user group you have used in menu type M it should be at parameters in T.code : SU3
    and the MOLGA is country grouping. you have to input the MOLGA for which country you are doing this actions.
    because country country the infotype screen are different.
