Making some elements of cluster invisible

I have a cluster indicator as shown. Cluster contains a Num ‘has linear test passed?’
I am passing cluster’s reference to the parent VI.
If Num=0, I want to hide only the Num keeping rest of the cluster visible in the parent VI.
How can I just make one num optionally invisible?

I have to echo Dynamik's comments. this is an odd construct.
Dynamik, you missed the "_1" version you were useing.

Just hit ignore, open the diagram and replace the missing VI with the one you posted.
Here is another variation where I took the liberty of redefining your output type, just to make things easier.
Make sure you close yours before you open the VI "SetClusterVisabilityCreateLinearTestReportRef.vi"

According to your description, you added textbox and image to page header, now you want to display them on the first page, on other pages, their visibility is set to false, but the image is visible on every page.
I tried to reproduce the issue in my local machine, but it works fine for me. I set visibility of textbox and image by following steps:
Right-click the image, click Image Properties.
Click Visibility in left pane, select Show or hide based on an expression.
Click (fx) button and type the expression: =iif(Globals!PageNumber= 1,false,True).

How to resize JDialog after making some fields invisible?

Hi,
I have many fields in a JDialog box. And I am making some of them invisible (based on some logic).
Even though I am using invisible, the dialog size is not resized automatically.
I can see so much space and it is not good.
Is there any way so that I can resize this dialog?

Even though I clicked that, the file's modification time is changing.
(The modifications I made are not there, so it's not really saving but why the date is changing then?)

All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

Making some words Bold/Underlined of an editable text field in Adobe Form?

I have a a requirement of making some words Bold/Underlined of an editable text field in Adobe Form. I have created a "Text Field" and in "Value" tab as default value I have written the textline and made the field Type as "User entered - optional" so that at runtime user can edit that text. Now they want some words of the whole text line should display as Bold and some as Underlined. Can you please help me to meet this requirement.

Just an idea, but you might try re-printing that original PDF file to the Adobe PDF printer (saving it as another pdf file, essentially). Then try again to add form fields. (You can copy the form fields you've already created and paste them onto the new file -- just copy and paste while in forms edit mode). A second shot in the dark if the first doesn't work might be to try again, but change the print settings when printing to PDF. I've ready some reports that the dpi setting can have an effect. Maybe go from 600 to 150 and see if that works. Let me know which, if either, of these ideas works.

Thanx for your response and commenting on our homepage. I wasn't aware of the problems you mentioned. However it has ranked on the first page of Google, etc for 20 years, so that's not my concern at this point.
The 2 most immediate things are getting rid of the A"s showing up on the table on oilfiltercrushers/truck_ofc.aspx and on /defaultnew.aspx , (the intended home page when I get it fixed,) I get a server error highlighting line 293

. Im not sure what to do about that...

Preview mode showing some elements shifted vertical ;(

One of my pages if showing some elements shifted vertically when viewing in preview mode. Its rather annoying as only one page is showing this. The design section shows all elements as they should be. Please help!!

I also have a similar issue with a page on my site.
I have a vertical scroll page with anchored links on the page.
Each section of the page I have denoted by a vertical solid color rectangular bar.
In design mode these bars are the correct lenght and position, however in preview I had issues where they were either shifting vertically or after trying out some fixes, which I will list, they now start (I think) at their designated start points but their end point is not that which i have specified.
Fixes I tried:
I put the anchors at numbers below 0 - no change
I changed from one continous text box to segmenting the text boxes into section which correspond to the different colored rectangular bars - this, once grouped with corresponding bar and text box, solved the issue of the bars starting in the wrong location but did not fix their their over run at the end as in picture.
I then put the grouped bars inside their respective text box and wrapped text with a margin of 20 - no change
I then grouped all simialr grouped items together - no change
I would greatly appreciate your help and I will forward the site with a link to this thread to muse support.

I'm coming from a strong Adobe background. I have used flash since the old macromedia days.
I am looking to start making some mobile apps and I'm unsure where to start.
I have brought myself up to speed with Edge and its pretty good.
I want to put something together that has touch screen controls. basically I want to make a couple of buttons that the user can press on their phone, and the buttons trigger a movie clip to play from points on its timeline.
There's so many Adobe products that are out and not out and for mobile and this and that.
Is there a product that I should be using for putting mobile apps like this together? Is Edge what I'm to be using?
I am a new creative cloud member although I am somewhat confused by its offerings, and remain unimpressed with it.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Getting error when trying to deploy the SQL project after making some changes

I’m getting the below error message, when I’m trying to deploy the project by making some changes.
In detail, The project was deployed successfully at first time. Later I did some changes(Added 1 more table) and I tried to deploy, but it was not sucess. I'm getting the below error message
Error message:Cannot upgrade the DAC for database CTR_FIN_FINNOTE_DB because the compatibility level is 70 or lower. Alter the database to support a compatibility level of 80 or higher
I checked in SQL, the compatibility level is 110 which is higher than 70.
Can any one help me out to overcome with this.

No, that's not the problem. You cannot simply "convert" something until the LabVIEW compiler no longer throws an error unless it actually makes sense. If you have four elements and only want to retain two, there are many possible permutations. What are the four elements, what is their datatype, and what do they represent. Blank space while making UI elements invisible.

I need some urgent help on a project that we are working for a customer. This has got to do with Webdynpro views. Our window contains almost 8 views one below the other all show at one time. However there is a requirement based on which the visibility of view 2-8 will depend on events in View 1. I know we can tweak the visibility of the RootContainerUIelement or the Visibility of the View Container to hide/unhide views. But I see that when we hide the views this way ,its leaving a huge empty space. I dont want this huge empty space but want the views to just adapt so that if View 2 is not needed View3 moves up and takes it place. I almost tried all options on the visibility - BLANK,NONE on RootUIContainer, Viewcontainer etc before coming over to you. Do you have any ideas how this huge space occupied can be made invisible in deed.

2 points:
1. Check out if the Layout of the View, where you are displaying the Views is Grid Layout. If so,
make use of Matrix Layout.
2. While setting the Visibility of the views, set them to NONE instead of BLANK.
