Making TDs editable creates visual mess

When I make table cells ice editable it creates a visual mess in the editor. There seem to be overlapping region borders on the tables making it very difficult to read the content. or perhaps its also showing row borders (no the rows aren't marked as editable)
see screenshot below
thanks

    I currently use an iPhone, an iPad, and a Mac computer for business.  The three devices have Contacts Managers that sync with each other through both Google and through Mobile Me.  Currently, this has created a mess of duplicate contacts.  Please advise me on the steps necessary for removing these duplicates and establishing a syncing solution that doesn't regenerate the duplicates.  There are several applications available that remove duplicates, but I am not sure which ones work or don't work.  I want information on this, but most importantly I want to understand how to fix this problem permanently.  Also, I read somewhere that Mac's new operating system, Lion, can help deal with duplicates.  I don't have Lion, but I would be willing to get it, if this would fix the problem.

    Had the same problem with 4 devices (two computers, an iPhone and an iPod). The solution is simple: open the Address Book application in your mac, ask it to locate duplicate entries (under one of the top menu items, "edit" I think), and then ask it to consolidate them: it took me all of three seconds after I figured it out: worked like a charm! PS: if you have more than one mac with unconected Address Books, repeating the operation in the second one may be a good idea.

  • Edit - Create SubVI results in error "an input parameter is invalid [...] cannot save VI"

    I get this error with some frequency.  I select a bunch of my block diagram, create a subVI only to find that it is unsaveable.  Here are the steps I take to reproduce this:
    Select a portion of code
    Edit -> Create SubVI
    open the new subVI
    try to save it and this message pops up (without showing the Save dialog)
    I get past this by saving a snippet and making a new VI.
    I'm using LabVIEW 2012 on Windows XP, but I had it happen with LabVIEW 2011 as well.
    I read through this thread, but it's not the same situation because my message doesn't have an associated error code.  No variation of "Save As" has any effect, either.
    Has anyone else seen this behavior?  Have you any suggestions to help me resolve it?
    Jim
    You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are. ~ Alice

    Greetings, Jim;
    I see the error happens with some frequency, is there anything that seems to bring that error to light or does it just seem to happen randomly when saving to a SubVI? That is to say, does it seem to happen when you are using/saving a particular set of VI's or a module or some such, or completely haphazardly? Is there any hardware that you are attempting to connect to in that VI as well?
    If you try to save the SubVI and get that error, can you simply save the main VI again without a problem? Finally, you have also seen this behaviour in 2011, did it happen with similar frequency?

  • Have I created a mess?

    Hello and Thanks,
    The project I'm working on has lots of source material and I have most of it captured. The source materials is from different classes on different days and places.
    In the media file name I used the date with slashes (1/11/07.) Ultimately it will need to be transfered to a Windows PC environment instead of a Mac. I have not done any editing, I will be editing on a Mac and will be transfering to Windows when it is a completed movie. Will my original media file names create a mess in the PC world? Will it not matter at all because it will be exported as a completed movie?
    This is my first FCP project—I appreciate the help I've gotten with the capture issues. I wanted to know if I need to rename my media files before editing.
    Thanks again, Terese

    mess in the PC world? Will it not matter at all
    because it will be exported as a completed movie?
    I don't know that your original media names will create a mess unless you want to edit that final piece once you move over to PC. It sounds to me like you only taking the final movie to PC and not all of the additional media files.
    In other words, are you planning to export the movie, say, via quicktime as a whole piece that will not be manipulated on the PC?

  • No Way To Close Edit/Create/Share Feature

    I am trying to make a simple graphic by cutting and pasting a picture into a new project, but when I open up the edit drop down menu, the options for copy or paste are not highlighted, so obviously they are not available. The only reason I can figure out is that somehow, unintentionally, I opened something on the right side that says edit/create/share. I have no idea how to close this feature and in the gray rectangle box under those words, it is asking me what I would like to create. I just want to make a simple graphic, but because this project program is open I can't make the graphic I want. Please help me to know how to close this project program (Edit/Create/Share). Thanks for any help.

    When Copy and Past are both grayed out it means the there is nothing in the Clipboard to past and there is nothing selected to copy into the clipboard.  In the image document you want to past do a select all then do a copy. The targeted layer will be copied into the clipboard. Then switch to the document you want to past the image into and do a paste.

  • Cannot edit/create new mailbox in ECP - Exchange 2013 CU6

    Hello, I am currently running Exchange 2013 CU6. I cannot perform tasks related to recipients such as edit/create new mailbox. Additionally I cannot view the properties of the virtual directories.
    I tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE) in different PCs and the result is the same
    For example, I cannot click "Browse" in "new user mailbox" tab
    "New local Mailbox move" page displays blank
    I browsed through the event logs and found the following errors (Event 4 and Event 21):

     Any help?

    Hello Amy,
    I will try to follow your suggestions. I will update once I get access to the server.
    Anyways, the whole thing was back to normal for 1 day on its own, but right now the issue is happening again. Permission-wise, the account I used is in listed Organization Management role
    Update: I forgot to try the EMS, but after I recycle the
    MSExchangeECPAppPool, everything works fine, except for viewing Groups and Permissions
    An error in the event viewer is displayed:

    1]Is it possible to maintain versioning of portal contents edited/created?
    2]Can portal presentation mechanism hide selected output fields?
    3]How will Presentation service support storage of view state in a repository?

    Mr.Raja
    As far as my knowledge, it does NOT make sense to assign a material to more than one class type.
    We can assign many classes to  a single class type of  a material.
    For configurable material, create the material using material type : KMAT.
    & then, activate the 'batch management" control in the material master, for that material.
    Pls revert with feedback.
    Hope, that helps you.

  • Making PSD edits/stacks auto collapse?

    Hi All
    I'm on a Mac with LR2 and use the Command E feature to open an edit in Photoshop. Is there a way to have my photoshop edit create an automatically collapsed stack with the RAW file it is associated with, with the PSD file on top? I thought it did this, but now all that's happening is the PSD edit is imported into LR next to the RAW in an expanded stack, and I have to manually collapse the stack.
    Any ideas?

    Hello again...
    No replies so far, but I thought I'd keep this updated so that maybe in future generations, when the problem is resolved, this may serve as an historical record
    Going over the folder again, some of the stacked stacks didn't really stack.  But some did.
    The most annoying thing at the moment is, that when I'm in grid view, and I expand a stack, the window scrolls to several hundred photos away from the expanded stack, which I then have to scroll back to find. This is more than a little annoying. It seems that this happens if I don't select the stack first.  If it's not selected, and I click to expand it, then focus scrolls back to the last selected photo.
    In the filmstrip, in the survey view, I did have a pleasant if not intermittent surprise.  In survey view, if I expand a stack, then sometimes the entire stack is selected and appears in the survey, which is great.  Sometimes, it doesn't, though an extra click on the top of the stack usually does the trick to select everything in the stack.  I just haven't been able to yet find a rule that would let me get everything in the stack selected when I expanded it.
    Has anyone else seen this behavior, or am I in some other dimensional plane where things don't act exactly as they do for everyone else?
    Thanks!
    -Eric

    Hi,
    Try to use some function module which will convert query data into flat tables. (eg., RS_VC_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA_FLAT).
    Hope this solves your issue.

  • From Windows Azure `Edit in Visual Studio Online` ; Unclear On Which Login To Use

    I have created a web site in Windows Azure and linked my site to `Visual Studio Online` where I can do automated builds upon checkin and all works.
    Now from Azure's dashboard on the site I am presented with the option to edit it in Visual Studio Online:
    But then I am confronted with a user authentication page.
    Which credentials are to be used?
    How are the provisioned exactly?
    If they are not a windows live id...why not?
    William Wegerson (www.OmegaCoder.Com)

    Hi,
    From the image you provided, it seems like you need credential to sign in ***.scm.azurewebsites.net, please kindly read the following article.
    #http://blogs.msdn.com/b/windowsazure/archive/2014/03/04/windows-azure-websites-online-tools-you-should-know-about.aspx
    Here is a snippet:
     simply browse using your favorite internet browser to https://{site name}.scm.azurewebsites.net (in other words, add
    .scm in front of the site name). Upon entry, you will be asked for credentials and those will be the same as your deployment credentials. If you have never set up your deployment credentials, you can open your site’s dashboard
    in the Azure Portal and click Set up deployment credentials. If you already have deployment credentials but do not remember them, you can use the dashboard to reset them

  • Trouble with making dwt editable

    I have a 2nd template in my site I am using for all pages except index. It has a image in the upper right that I want changed on each new page but when I go to make it editable (insert>template objects>editable region) I get a pop up saying this:  "The selection already contains or is overlapped with editable optional region" ???  The only area of the template that is editable is in the content area below. How do I make that image change on a new page I create?
    Link to page: http://www.universaltime.net/test2/mjr8000.html
    Thanks in advance
    Dreamweaver Version CS3 on Windows XP

    No, you don't need to detach it from the template.
    You can change the image in the CSS file by making a tag...say, the body tag...ID attributes editable.
    Select the <body> tag (use the Tag Selector)
    Choose Modify > Templates > Made Attribute Editable
    Choose or Add the ID Attribute in the "Editable Tag Attributes" box
    Check the box to "Make attribute editable"
    Enter a Label (this will be visible in the dialog box where you enter a new page's body ID)
    Type: Text
    Default: enter your default <body> id here, if you want one.
    Press OK
    Now, you can assign a different ID to each page, and you can then "key" images for that div to be different on different pages.
    To edit an attribute that you have set up this way, go to a child page and do Modify > Template Properties. You will raise a dialog box that presents a table showing your Labels (see #5 above) and the value that attribute now carries (see #7, if you have not yet edited a new value).
    Select the attribute you want to edit and change the value to the new body ID that you want for that page, say "homepage" for the index page.
    You will need to put an id on the cell where you image now resides. You will remove the 'surface' image from the code and rely on using a background image.
    Now, in your CSS file, you want to set a background image for the cell.
    body#homepage td#image {
         background-image: url(images/header_graphic.jpg;
    You can see that if you create a child page and make the body ID attribute "contactpage" (for instance), you can set up a CSS rule like this:
    body#contactpage td#image {
         background-image: url(...path to your new image for the contact page...);
    Editable attributes may be used to control and customize pages, not just with changing background images, but also to highlight current pages in navigation. Here is a page and a site I am working on that does just that: http://www.gravenimagedesign.net/PHA/publicHousing/index.html
    So, I've gotten all wordy, but if this seems like something you are interested in, and you need more explanation, just holler!
