Manual Actual prices for 2 versions

Dear Experts
i need to put rates for same activity type for two different version in KBK6
our secnario is :
we activated business function FIN_CO_COGM and created 2nd version with valuation view 5 COGM , our problem we have all rate for the Local version and the 2nd version are the same except for Depreciation and profit share .
so we need to put two different rate for these Dep. and profit share
we implemented note 1695638 - COGM: manual actual price but after trying to run program COGM_ADD_FUNC in order to activate indicator P_COGM
the system issue message this program does not exist .
we need to know :-
1- how to put 2 rates for 1 activity type for 2 version (actual not plan)
Regards
Mona Sultan

Dear Szymon
we are still in the middle of the process of having 2 valuation using 2 version local & IFRS due to depreciation amount is different between the two valuations
so the data is correct and the difference is posted to the cost center , with secondary cost element
when allocating the actual cost to process orders it does not take in to account the other amount for the IFRS , and it only settle the local amount with version (0)
even after running CKMLCP and CKMLCOAVR the differnce stays on the IFRS Version and does not absorb in to the materials

  • Estimated price and Actual price for purchased Materials

    Hi Experts
Please advice for the below scenario:
We don't know the Exact price of a Material (Externally purchased) while raising the PO, so we enter an Estimated price in PO and send it to vendor.
While doing GR, We should identify the Material which was entered estimated price by some warning or information message.
Then we will go and edit the PO with Actual price, after that GR will be done.
Any idea how to achieve this requirement?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Bala

There are no facilities in SAP at all as per your requirement.
You can only achieve this via development. You have to use something different for those material in PO. And at the time of MIGO, the enhancement (by using any exit or badi) will check the field or field value in PO and system will show the warning / information at the time of GR.
You may also create new field in PO/EKPO.
Suppose for those material you have entered the value X and blank for the normal material.
Then system will check the field at the time of goods receipt. If system will find the value X, then system will show the information / warning message.
If system finds the blank value for the field, then system will not show the message.

  • Manual actual  price of activity kbk6

    Dear Experts,
I always used splitting-actual activity price calculation and revaluation of activity.
but How to calculate and charged  Actual activity price through KBK6 from production order.
ie - standard cost of Power is 80 (credit side of cost center) ,power  qty 10 and standard rate 8 rs at the time of production order confirmation and Actual Booking of Power is 100 rs and actual rate 100/10=10rs. so my production orders are charged less with rs 20.
i have maintained rs 10 in kbk6 after that shall i execute CON2 or MBN1 for charging actual rate from production order then followed by Variance and settlement.
M i missing something or need to take care something?.
    regards
    RR

    Hi
After maintaining actual activity price manually, you need to follow the same process of CON2
However, you may need to apply Note 732421 - Revaluation: Manual prices are incorrectly revaluated

  • Authorization control for actual price calculation

    Dear all,
I found that there is no authorization control for actual price calculation(KSII), this means user can calculate actual price for all cost centers, even this cost center belongs to other company. Is there a way to control this?
    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,
By SAP standard we do not have the control.  we also have the same situation.  We are venturing in to Realisation phase and we decided to have some kind of program (development) to control this.
Please let me know if you find some better solution

  • Table data for actual price

    Hi All,
Can any one give the answer for the following question.
I just wanted to know in which filed the actual price for the PO or PR is stored.
I can see the following structure data in PO and PR for actual price, but this is not useful for a new report we are developing.
    KOMV-KWERT-Purchase Order Table-Amount
    RM06B-PREIS-Purchase Requisition Table-Amount
    with regards,

    Hi Yogesh,
KOMP is a structure not a table.

  • Actual price calculation for multiple activity types

    Gurus,
I am working on a scenario where we have 2 main cost centers  (A & B) from which services are used in different cost centers one of which is C. C is assigned to a work center. Now for the cost center C,two activity types are defined ATA and ATB which are actually the services from cost center A and B respectively.
Now for standard cost estimate I can define planned rates for those two activities based on the cost center C. Now at the month end I want to draw the costs from A and B based on the % of the services drawn by C and then calculate the actual price for those activities, i.e. run revaluation cycle. My question is, when I would run the revaluation cycle, how am I going to differentiate the cost of each activity types based on the cost input from respective cost centers (A and B) ?
I short, with more than one activity type and more than one input cost center, is it possible to valuate the activities on actual prices?
    Thanks in advance!
    Snigdho

    Hi Snigdho
    Yes, you can!!
If I have understood your question well - What you want is that the Cost allocated to From A to C should be divided by Act type ATA and cost allocated from B to C, should be divided by ATB, at the period end... Is that what you want?
You can achieve this in SAP...
    1. Create 2 separate secondary cost elements for each Act Type ATA and ATB
    2. Create a Spliting structure in OKES... You would assign Secondary cost ele 1 to ATA and Sec Cost ele 2 to ATB
Assign cost center C to this splitting structure in OKEW
    3. now, when you calculate Act price, you will get what you want

  • Actual Price Calculation (KSII)

    hi,
I am not able to get the actual prices for my production order.
I maintained certain settings for actual price calculation in OKEQ.
Does it is mandatory to run the MFN1 (Revaluation of actual prices) before the KSII.
    Srinivas

    Hi Sateesh,
Please find below the process for calculation of Actual Activity Prices:
    1. Define Splitting structure, rules (method). I am sure you would have done this
    2. Assign the splitting structure to Cost Centers. I hope you would be done this as well
    3. Actual values (Costs and quantitative details) will get collected to cost centers in the following way:
         - Quantities will get collected to Cost Centers once the confirmation of activities are done for the        production order.  Please make sure that "Record Quantity" check box is selected for the relevant secondary cost elements.
         - Values will get collected from FI to the primary cost elements
you may check whether the values have been properly collected to the cost center using the cost center reports
    4. Execute cost Split using - KSS2
    5. Then calculate Actual activity unit price - KSII
    6. Once the prices are successfully calculated, you can check the prices in KP26
    7. after this process is completed then you can revaluate you production orders using the actual activity prices
I hope i made is clear.
Let me know if you need further details in this regard

  • Printing total Actual Price in PurOrd ?

    Hi Guys,
I am trying to print out the Actual Price for an entire Purchase Order using script medruck.
I am able to find the actual price per position (KOMP-EFFWR) but can not find any 'corresponding' field at header level.
There is a netvalue field (KOMK-FKWRT), but I need the actual price ;o)
Have anyone of you located a relevant field to print out or should I just add up all actual prices for the positions and print that out ?
    Cheers.

    Hi,
Thanks for the hint, I have already evaluated KOMK, but unfortunately the field is not available.
    Cheers.

  • Error the actual price could not be determined while executing CKMLCP

    Hi!
we are facing the problem while executing CMLCP, the error message is "The actual price for 10VN000012/MHR could not be determined" ( error message number CKMLLA102).
    Our scenarios is as below:
we have 4 activity types out of which activity type "MHR" are used only for Indirect activity allocaiton tracing factor that means all service costs from service cost centres will be distributed to production cost centres in the ratio of actual quantity confirmed for MHR activity type.
for this activity type we will not have any actual cost distribution, so there will not be any actual cost for this activity type.
So, as actual quantity is confirmed during production process and while executing CMLCP is expecting actual price for the same ( we are executing KSII for actual activity price calculation before costing run).  is there any enhancement to avoid this error, because our client don't want to allocate cost to this activity type.
    regs,
    ramesh

    Hi Ramesh,
Message CKMLLA102 is standard system behaviour when the actual
price of an activity is zero because cost center accounting does not
allow actual prices to be zero.
Unfortunately the system can't distinguish an actual activity price
of zero from a not yet calculated activity price, so for activities
with actual price zero the message CKMLLA 102 is sent.
Have you check the SAP note 361379?. It provides you some options to overcome
    the issue.

  • CJN2 Revaluation at Actual Prices

    Hi,
I would like to know what CJN2 Revaluation at Actual Prices is being used for.
    Thanks!
    Vivian

Depending on the procedure use,  the cost & actvities of the period are analysed separetaly ( periodically diff. price) as total values ( average price ) or as values cumulated up to the analysis period ( cumulated price) Based on on CO settings.
However, since the actual price calculation is not executed until the period-end closing, iteratively calculated actual price is not available when the actual activity posted. Therefore, the activities arenormally valuated with planned prices initially. After the actual price are claculated, you can make the relevant adjustment postings. in other workds revaluation at actual price for your projects.
CJN1 : is  Revaluation at actual price : Project / WBs / Netwrok single processing
CJN2 : is  Revaluation at actual price : Project / WBs / Netwrok mass  processing
( for the use of CJN2 ) you have to define variant in CJ8V txn.
Weather to use the revaluation at actual price in SAP is normally decided by CO consultant.
Please go through this link. Opne link and click on revaluation at actual price.

  • Use an alternative Exchange Rate Type for activity actual price

    Dear All,
I try to use an alternative Exchange Rate (not M)  in controlling area version "0", I need to use a custom currency exchange rate like in planned price (here I create a new planned version with exchange rate "N").
I find same notes and it seems that standard Sap use only Exchange Rate "M" for actual price but I notice that for example in transaction KB21N (activity allocation) system shows in additional info exchange rate "N" (input in version "0").
Is not possibile to use other Exchange Rate for actual price, activity allocation, for confirmed activity in production order?
Controlling area has currency type 30 (group currency EUR), this company has MXN.
Thanks in advance for your support
    Daria

In KB21N (activity allocation), system uses the exchange rate type you have maintained in controlling area version plan settings (transaction OKEQN). Activity allocation during the month always happen at the planned price maintained in KP26 at the exchange rate specified in plan version. During actual price calculation and revaluation during month end, it calculates actual activity price at (uses M rate to convert to controlling area currency) and revaluates consumption.
I think you cannot use other exchange rate, see the coding in include LKSPIF00 that is used in KSII where currency type is hard coded to M, if this is plan price calculation it's picking tka07-kurst.

  • KP98 - Actual Prices do Not copy to plan version

    Hi everyone,
I'm attempting to do a KP98, so that I can have a copy of  my actuals in my plan version. The transaction works fine in copying everything I selected, however when I check my activity prices using for example Tcode KSBT, it does not show me me any prices for my activities.
In other words my activity quantities are successfully copied into my plan version, but NOT the prices.
In version '000' prices exist, but not in my plan versio '100'. Any ideas?
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks.
Edited by: Ehab Mansour on Jun 23, 2009 10:22 AM

    Hi Ramesh,
So if I understand you correctly:
Even after setting the "Price" and "Activity Qty" flag in KP98, it doesn't actually copy the price from version 000 to my plan version 100. I still have to run KSPI to get my price posted in my version 100?
If that's what I understand correctly............... then what's the benefit of setting the "Price" flag in KP98? That's what I'm trying to understand.
Of course if I change my planned values then I have to run KSPI again to calculate the new price.
But if I just do a KP98, WITHOUT making any changes to my planning in version 100, should KP98 just copy the prices from my actuals, and I would only need to run KSPI again only if I make changes to my planning dollars?

  • Manual override option for Unit selling price in Order line level.

    In OM R-12
Our client wants manual override option for Unit selling price in Order line level.
But there is no solution available to fulfill this requirment. To be able to manually override the price on a Sales Order line you
must have defined a manual modifier that qualifies for the Sales Order line in question. Without a suitable manual modifier the price cannot be changed.
    This is current standard functionality.
Anybody can give some suggestion/workaround to override selling price in Order header level without using the modifiers.
    regards,

    Hi Kashif,
I'm finding it little difficult to buy Oracle Support's feedback with regards to R12 functionality for direct List Price update without using any modifier (manual or whatever). After all it is Oracle's product and they should know better. But test results in Solution Beacon's Vision 12.0.6 instance (http://www.solutionbeacon.com/tools_r12vision.htm) and documentation updates in R12 (R12.0.4) OM user guide & implementation manuals potray a different picture.
After your last post, I did a test in Solution Beacon's Vision 12.0.6 instance with following details:
OM: List Price Override Privilege = "Unlimited Access" at user level
OM: Discounting Privileges = "None" at user level
No manual modifiers defined and Order status = "Entered"
I could display the "List Price" field from folder under Line Items >> Main tab, override the list price to a new value and save. The unit selling price showed the new value based on updated List Price as soon as I tabbed out of the list price field after overriding. After saving it showed the new selling price. _Please note that under Line Items >> Pricing tab there is another "List Price" field and that is not editable_. For such overrides "View Adjustments" (from Line >> Actions) will not show any adjustment details as it is a direct update of list price.
Also please note that, if "Enforce List Price" checkbox is selected for the order type, the list price cannot be overridden even if the profile option is set to "Unlimited Access".

+Note: Note: If any order line for an order has the Calculate Price Flag value equal to Partial Price or Freeze Price new order level adjustments will not be applied or allowed to be overridden. _The profile option OM: List Price Override  Privilege controls your ability to override the unit list price. If you have this profile set to Unlimited, you may modify the unit list price by editing the current value displayed_. The original list price is saved in a hidden folder field, so you can display it if necessary+.

_A new profile option, OM: List Price Override Privilege controls whether or not you can update the List Price_. It is enabled and updated at the application, responsibility and user level. It is not user visible and updatable. The values include+:
    - View Only: This is the default value. If set to this value, the current behavior is retained, which means unit list price field is protected.
    - Unlimited Privilege: If set to this value, you can override the unit list price field from the main tab and immediately see selling price adjusted accordingly.
    To use Override List Price:
+1. Navigate to the Sales Orders/Quick Sales Orders window.+
+2. Enter the header and line information, including the ordered item and quantity, then tab to the next field. The Selling Price and List Price display+.
+3. If the profile is set to Unlimited Privilege, you can enter a new list price in the List Price field. You can either proceed to the next line or save your work+.
+4. You can see the new, entered list price, and if there are automatic discounts applied, they will be based on the new list price+.
+5. If the folder has been modified to show the Original List Price, the original list price displays+.
+6. To change the List Price again, go to the list price field and enter a new value, replacing a previously entered value. If Audit Trail is enabled for List Price and a reason is required, a window appears to enter a reason and optional comments+.
Note: Subsequent overrides of the List Price, after the order line is saved, can be captured by Audit Trail, depending on the setup of Audit Trail (entered or booked state) and any processing constraints that have been set up.
In the OM Implementation Manual also there are notes related to this.

  • Material Ledger  - release actual price as the standard price for the next-

Hi Gurus, Sap Library /documentation about Material Ledger says:
"At the end of the period, an actual price is calculated for each material based on the actual costs of the period. This actual price is called the periodic unit price and can be used to revaluate the inventory for the period to be closed. In addition, you can use this actual price as the standard price for the next period."
How Can I do that?  i've calculated the new actual price but i could release it as a new standar costo.
    Kind Regards
    André

    Hi Both,
I think there is something else to add to this, the new PUP price can only be applicable in the period N+2 where N=Period of closing. This is something that is not specifically mentions in SAP documents.(not that I know of ) but I found it the hard way!
    Cheers
