Manual entries made by users on Book dep postings

Hi
I am working on one report related to assets, i need to pick the values which are related to Manual entries made by the users on depreciation postings.
How can i pick this amount and display on the report.
Thanks
Suresh

I have same problem. Any Google calendar entry I make on Android phone syncs to iMac and iPad but can not be edited on iPad.
In other threads, suggestions to delete Google calendar from iPad and reinstall does nothing for this issue except get rid of some redundant calendars.
I beleive it started with last iOS update ands suspect Apple is aware of issue they created.

  • Prevent manual entry  in user defined value

Is it possible to prevent manual entry  in user defined value (Formatted search)?
    Thanks

    Hi
I don't think there is any out of the box solution .
It is possible if formatted search automatically populates your data but I think in your case ,user is selecting the list of special codes you have provided .
May be it can be done by SDK . Try posting in SDK forum .
    Hope this helps

  • List of entries made by various users

Can I find a list of entries made by different users per day ? And how?

    Hi Vivek
All the marketing document tables contain a UserSign field which you can use for specific transactions, for example OINV for sales invoice. If you are looking for a single source you could look at the ADOC table also using the UserSign field. Just bear in mind that the ADOC table might contain multiple instances of a document if any changes were made as this is the audit trail table for marketing documents.

  • Entries made in Sprint BB 8330 will not sync to Outlook Calendar

I just got a Sprint BB 8330 and have set up 2-way sync for Outlook Calendar, Tasks, Memos & Address Book. The 2-way sync works for Tasks, Memos and Address Book except the Outlook Calendar. The Outlook Calendar syncs to the BB but entries made on the BB do not sync back onto the Outlook Calendar. I traded my Sprint Treo which worked perfectly with 2-way syncs on my Dell laptop using XP for this SmartPhone which isn't doing what it is said to do.  I have done quit a bit of research on this and found that this problem is happening to a lot of other users. We should file a class action suit against Blackberry since it is a common problem and they seem to being nothing to fix it that I have found but they keep on selling them.  Thanks for your help.

Open up your Desktop Manager, then go to Synchronize/Configuration/Configure Sync. In there, you will find that you are only allowing synchronization one way...from your desktop to your BB. You can configure your synchronization from that screen so that it is bi-directional.

  • Clearing of manual entries in GR/IR not happening

    Hi All,
I've made two manual entries in the GR/IR account. The second entry being the reverse of the first, so basically they cancel out each other. But as these arent linked to a PO, the line items arent being cleared by F.13
I tried manual clearing FB1s and F-04 but it picks up only one line item (the reverse line item i.e. credit item). And so I cant even manually clear these line items.
Can you please provide a solution?
    Regards,
    Tejas

    Hi Tejas,
Please have a look at Note : 178487, maybe it helps... it talks about several points like:
    1. In the master data of the G/L accounts, flag "Line item display" or "Open item management" was set for accounts which do not require line items.
    2. Update of FI data from the upstream modules is too detailed.
    3. Problems during clearing
    4. Data is kept too long in the system.
But I am not very sure whether it answers your exact scenario.
Coming to the point of clearing open line items 'easy way', as Janani mentioned, there seems to be no easy ways for clearing the open line items. As I understand, the primary reason for this could be because we are dealing with business sensitive data and the open line items are infact open because of some valid reason, and should not be closed using short cuts. What I mean is... a line item could be (or should be) open if there is some business transaction yet to be completed or it is closed if the transaction is completed and its the job of the user who is responsible for the transaction to make sure that the line item is cleared when the transaction is complete.
In my experience, as you and Janani have experienced, it is normal that we see a lot of documents not archivable because of open items. In my previous experiences, we have handled it this way:
    1. Run the Archive run in test mode (prefarably with 'only incorrect docs in log')
    2. Give the log to the financial users/module owners to analyze the log (you can use FB99 also to see whether individual documents are archivable or not)
    3. Come up with a strategy to close the open items. Distribute the log to respective users (maybe according to doc type) and come out with a time schedule to close these items. It will definately take some time.. say weeks, to analyze each item and close it.
    4. Come up with a strategy so that so many documents are not kept open (unnecessarily) in the furture
    5. FI owners should have a relook whether the accounts managed under open item management are really required in OIM.
In summary, no short cuts :(.
    Hope this helps,
    Naveen

  • Restrict Manual Entry of Items while creation of sales order

    Hi,
    <b>Requirement:</b>
User can create a sales order only for line items of contract if sales order is created with reference to contract. Any manual entry of line item should be restricted.
    <b>Analysis:</b>
I have coded to check the line item is created with ref to contract or not.( VGBEL gets populated if it is created with ref to contract.). I checked in userexits (USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE) and (USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION).
Do help if anyone have come across such scenario.

  • Automatic Payment terms without referrring Customer Master nor manual entry

    Hi,
I have a credit memo with reference to one billing document. It is automatically coming with payment terms which is not maintained in customer master nor manual entry in the document. I had checked all the configuration related settings for the document and payment terms assignment. I had debugged and checked for any user exit or function module.
I have no clue in this regard and can anybody throw some light regarding to fix the problem.
    Regards
    Sashikanth

    Hi,
Check if the billing document has payment terms. If yes, even if customer master doesnt contain payment terms the payment terms will be copied to the credit memo through standard copying control maintained in IMG, when you create a document with reference to some document this copying control gets activated.
Also check user exit RV60AFZZ if there's any code written in it to default payment terms by billing doc type.

    Hello,
I am not sure but still you can try out the setting in the pricing procedure itself. Please navigate through the path as cited below:
SPRO setting ---> Sales And Distribution ---> Basic Function ---> Pricing ---> Pricing Control --> Define and Assign Pricing Procedure.
In the defination section where all the condition types are arranged for a Pricing Procedure, you can include a Routine in calculation type for the Condition Type PR00.
Seek the help of ABAPer and put the logic as when the Sales Organsiation(VKORG) is 1000 then the Automatic determination should not be considered and Manual entry will be accepted.
Kindly let me know the result of this exercise.

  • How to restrict Manual entry in G/L with automatic Postings

    Dear Gurus
We have a house bank account and have its three subsidiary account incoming, PDC and outgoing account. now whenever a user enter an incoming entry he has to do incoming debit and customer credit but some times as there is no blockage they mistakenly enter Main account instead of Incoming. We take the authorization of main account from them but it stops them from making reconciliation through ff67 or feban. Now please suggest what we do to stop them making manual entry in house bank account.
    Please suggest

    Hi,
Make autoposting for main bank account through master data maintenance.

  • How do I save email addresses from in box without manual entry?

Any other email program I've used will recognize an email address when you type in a letter or two in the TO box. It seems Thunderbird only looks at the address book that has to be manually input. Doesn't seem to be an option to remember an address from your inbox. I have to be missing something. Manual entry into the contact list can't be the only option...right?

Thunderbird adds outbound addresses to your Collected address book. Would you really want every address that you received an email from clogging up your address book? Junk mail and all?
When you are viewing an email in the message pane or a tab there is a star to the right of the addresses. If the star is filled with color that address is in one of your address books. If the star is empty you can click it to add the contact to the Personal address book. Clicking a filled star will open the contact edit dialog box to add more details or move to another book.
This is NOT the same star to the left of the message headers.

  • Manual entry of excise duty  a purchase order

    Hi ,
Excise duty is calculated based  on percentages which are maintained in the J1ID t code in  SAP.
I want to have a condition types defined in a particular type of PO which allows for manual entry of the Excise duty .( As you all know that some times excise duty needs to be calculated based up on per Kg i.e.. quantity rather than as a fixed percentage of value.i want these conditions to capture these types of transactions)
How can i achieve this funcationality.??

    Hi ,
Excise duty is calculated based on percentages which are maintained in the J1ID t code in SAP.
How can i achieve this funcationality.
You have to Define Condition type
SPRO -MM-Purchasing-Conditions-Defien Price Determine Process---Define Condition Types
In condition type you have seelct change which can be made option and choose Manual entries 'C' option for Condition Type Manual entry has priority.
This condition type you can use at the time of PO creation as a Condition type with Manual entry has priority.
The same condition type you have to define in pricing procedure also.
For this condition type you can abale to maintain manually.

  • BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT gives error KM701, but manual entry succeeds

I have written a program which creates a new material using function module BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT. I get the following error:
KM701 Profit center K100/12345 does not exist
However, I can add the same profit center (12345) to the article in transaction MM42 without problems.
I'm using the same user ID for the BAPI call (via RFC) and manual entry via MM42.

you probably forgot the leading zeros for the profit center.

  • Defining the Fields for Manual Entries in Conditions Type

    Dear Team,
I want to define new fields in the Option Manual Entries in Condition Type eg PR00 . Can you tell me the Setting where do we define those settings and where are they control.
    Thanks,
    Prashant

    Hi
The option provided for Manual Conditios are Hard Coded by the SAP, and you can not add any new option. If you want to check, pl. check the value range of Domain KMANU, where it is maintained.
What is your requirement? May be you can fulfill your requirement by some other mean, like USER EXIT.

  • BADI - ac_document for Non Business Area updation in MIRO - Manual entry

    Hi,
We have customised the above badi to Zac_document1 and implemented successfully in our system. It is working correctly and giving proper / expected result except while doing the manual G/L entry in MIRO (In some of the scenarios).
In our Production system, one of the end user has generated a MIRO document in reference to a PO. In actual Invoice there were miscellaneous charges added by the party (Vendor), but not mentioned those in PO. End User has adjusted those charges by debiting the required tax G/L  - u201CAP-CG Deduct-VATu201D account (In G/L Tab - in MIRO) and crediting the same amount to Material (In material tab of MIRO) that was used in PO.
While debiting the amount to G/L u2013 u201CAP-CG Deduct-VATu201D account, End User has not put the Business Area (In G/L Tab u2013 MIRO) which in turn result into entry in "Non Business Area" for the "G/L - AP-CG Deduct-VAT" irrespective of BADI was active in the system to update the business Area.
Could anybody suggest me the possibilities of non-picking up the Business Area in the line item of manual entry (In G/L tab of MIRO) entered in MIRO.
FI document is getting generated properly with updation of Business Area in all other scenarios (i.e. MIRO & SD Billing generation).
Points will be assigned to proper answer.

    Hi,
Different deprecistion areas are used for making it possible for the company to manage different views on their accounting reports made on the assets. All the definitions of depreciation areas (number, rules, perecentage) should be done due to the business requirements - there is no rule for this.

    Eli
