Manual Freight condition without Tax

Hi Experts,
I am looking for some help on setting up a Manual Freight condition in the Order but one that does not include Taxes.
I have created a copy of the Header Freight condition KF00 and everything looks fine except the Tax condition MWST takes this value also into account when calculating Tax.
How do I get my ZF00 freight charge to appear in the Net value but without Tax. I've read a few notes about moving the conditions around in the procedure but that then causes more issues as we have quite a lot of active conditions in V/08.
Any other way of using condition category or calculation type to achieve this?
Thanks in advance.
Sal

You can place this freight condition type below the tax condition type in your pricing procedure.

  • Header Freight condition should only attract Full Tax i.e. Tax classification '1'

    Hi Experts,
I have a scenario for German Sales and wondering if anyone has come across this.
I have created a manual Freight condition, marked as a group condition. In pricing I have materials attract 19% and 7% Tax so the Tax on Freight is calculated with both the 19% and 7% Tax. Germany only want to apply a 19% tax on Freight. How do I get this done? Any Alternative Calculation type I could use to overcome this?
    Your help is much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sal

I think the crux of the issue here is : being a group condition, when this header freight is being divided into its line items, based on the line item, the tax which is being applied is different.
I can think of a solution as below, please suggest if this is correct :
    1. Make freight and its tax as Only Header conditions.
    2. Make a new condition for Freight + Tax - this condition will be made a Group Condition
    3. Now in the pricing, make sure that NO Tax is applied on the freight value as this particular value (coming down from Header will already have Tax added to it).
So the scenario will be like below:
    Header : Freight = 100
                   Tax @ 19% = 19
Freight + Tax = 119 ---- This will be divided among the line items.
    Line
    1. Material A - Cost = 200
         Tax @ 19 %  = 38
         Value without freight = 238
Freight = 119/2 (considering equal division between lines) = 59.5
         Total Value = 238+59.5 = 297.5
    2. Material B - Cost = 230
         Tax @ 17% = 39.1
         Value without freight = 230+39.1 = 269.1
Freight = 119/2 (considering equal division between lines) = 59.5
         Total Value = 269.1+59.5 = 328.6
This is what I can think of, please feel free to suggest and improve

  • Calculate Sales Tax on Freight Condition

    Hi All,
We have an issue where we need to calculate an additional amount of Sales Tax on the Freight Condition which is entered on the Delivery Document as a manual condition and not on the sales order itself.
I am unable to configure the system so that the Sales Tax amount calculated for the whole invoice is inclusive of the Freight amount too
Is there any suggestions as to how I could do this?
    Thank you for you support
    Rukshana

    1. Calculation of sales tax on basic+ ED+ freight charges.
    2. Calculation procedure as basic+ Freight + ED+ sales.
excise and tax is for a value addition to a product . so excise , tax is on basic value only.
IF you want it for freight taxes  u need to do transportation  cost ther u can maintain service tax for freight vendors.

  • How to enter condition wise tax amount manually in MIR7 & MIRO?

We have a PO with a tax code entered in it.
but while parking invoice in MIR7, we want to enter condition wise tax amount manully which is different than calculated tax amount through tax code and subsequently we want the same manual tax amount to be displayed in MIRO also
I tried to enter amount for each condition in 'Detail' screen of 'Tax' tab in MIR7,
but at the time of simulating, amount calculated as per tax code is only shown and not the amount entered by me
'Calculate Tax' checkbox is not selectd in this case.
Can anybody tell me how to enter condition wise tax amount manully in MIR7 & MIRO and post an accounting entry with this manually entered tax amount?

    Hi,
i checked their is no unplanned delivery cost and in FV13 tax is 12.5%. In FTXP No Tax Percent rates.

  • Freight condition type Vs. Tax Condition Types

    HI,
Can anyone tell me why Freight condition types Post to accruals during MIGO (GR posting) and Tax conditions types don't? Can I provide me a solution to allow Tax condition types to post to accruals during MIGO just like the freight.
    Thanks.

    Hi James,
This freight condition type assigned to freight Vendor in creation of PO.During Creation of PO ,select Condition type and go to details and assign your freight Vendor.

  • Standard Condition type used for Manual freight at item level

    Hello Gurus
Can you please tell me the standard condition type used for entering freight manually at header as well as item level.
    Warm Regards
    Prashant Joshi.

    Prashanth,
The freight Conditions that we use in Sales are two types
HD00 - Header Level, wherein we have no access sequence
KF00 - Item level, Wherein we have access sequence  KF00 - Freight
But you want the condition types to be maintained manually, then you need item details screen of the respective condition type HD00/KF00 using Tcode V/06.
Inside that Manual entry as "C". Similarly you need to maintain or activate "Manual" Indicator in pricing procedure. Then you can enter the freight Manually.
    Note:
The difference In applying at the header level and item level is if you enter freight value at the header level it is applicable to all items in the item level. But if you want to apply freight  we can give freight to each item or selective item.

  • Freight Conditions not populating on free of charge sales order deliveries

I need some assistance, please.  I have searched SCN, but have not been able to find a solution to my problem.
We need to be able to charge freight charges on Free of Charge sales orders and am not able to get the charges to populate in the delivery.  We send the product for free, but sometimes need to charge the customer shipping charges.
Below are steps I have completed:
Created custom header condition of ZFRC
Added to sales order pricing procedure as a manual condition
(the charge will be updated from external system)
Created Delivery Pricing procedure containing only my
    freight conditions (also manual condition)
VTLA settings for item category KLN (free of charge item):Condition Order requirements – 1 Header
VTFL settings for item category KLN:
Pricing Type – D  Copy pricing elements unchanged
    Price Source – E  Delivery/Order
There are times when the freight charges will be added to the sales order, but I also need to be able to add them directly on the delivery.
When charges are added directly to the sales order, they will flow thru to the invoice without an issue, but when I try to add at the delivery level, they are not populating, which results in $0 invoice.
I am not receiving any kind of error messages when trying to add the charges.
We also have this situation with standard orders, but I am not having any problems with it.  I tried to mimic that set up for free of charge orders, but it is not functioning properly.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi Amitesh,
Yes, the condition type used in the Sales Order is the same, ZFRC and it is also a header condition.
The condition analysis is not available in the invoice because there is no condition in the invoice.  Below are screen shots of the analysis from the LINE ITEM of the delivery note (there is not analysis available on the header) and the header details of the conditions from the invoice and the delivery.

  • Holdback (without taxes) on PO invoice?

hi all, i have a requirement where business holds back 10% (without taxes) and pays 90% (with taxes) to the vendor.
Any help on how to accomplish this would be great! The invoice is broken down as follows:
PO Invoice with original contract: 197,299.00 + HST
    invoice 1:           $133,250.70
    less 10% holdback:     $13,325.07
    Sub-total:           $119,925.63
    HST@13%:          $15,590.33
    INVOICE TOTAL:          $135,515.96
    invoice 2:          $19,145.10
    less 10% holdback:     $1,914.51
    Sub-total:          $17,230.59
    HST@13%:          $2,239.98
    INVOICE TOTAL:          $19,470.57
    ........................... and so on
at the end, the last invoice is the HOLDBACK only is received:
    holdback invoice:     $197,229.00
    HST@13%:          $2,563.98
    INVOICE TOTAL:          $22,286.88
    Issues:
-cannot simply use payment terms at invoice level since taxes would be calculated on holdbacks as well but we don't want taxes calculated till the end (when holdback invoice is posted)
-The last holdback invoice creates double liability in the vendor account since there are holdbacks already posted from previous invoices.
-One option is to break PO in 2 line items. Original Amt. and Retention Amt and do a MIGO and MIRO for each line item for all invoices. Original Amt. line is set with tax H1 and Retention line with no taxes (V0)
This posts invoice with 2 line items. Orig. amt is paid but retention item is blocked (i use block indicator in split payments tab of MIRO to do this)
At the end, I have a bunch of holdbacks sitting without Taxes and I am unable to add tax to them (unless i do a manual invoice for just the taxes which is not feasible) this could work if system could automatically calculate different lines for taxes based on amount.
    thanks!

    Dear Sridevi ,
You need to maintain condition record in TCode MEK1 . The rate will  flow in. You shall find that when you click on the taxes tab (in Invoice tab of item line) . In the output also you will find the taxes flowing. The need to maintain conditions in MEK1 is for posting in GRN while doing MIGO.
    Hope it solves your problem.

  • Free Goods Import Process with Customs, Freight, and Other Taxes.

    hi,
I have to import free goods but have to pay for Customs, Freight, and other Taxes.
    1. If I tick Free Goods Indicator in PO Line Item, Condition Tab at line item disappears. It will not to calculate other conditions at Header level also. - So I cant execute this option.
    2. If i take price of material and insert Condition Type: R001:Discount/Quantity with material price/qty, then it gives Error Message - "Price Must be greater than 0".
So, Is there any way through which I can procure Free Goods and can maintain conditions for Customs, Freight, and other Taxes in Purchase Order.
Please help me in this regard.
    - Jignesh

    Hi,
    1) Create an import PO in ME21N with material price and all custom duty conditions (as you normally create). no need to put free tick indicator.
    2) Process MIRO for goods and delivery costs simultaneously.
    3) Maintain zero amount for goods item and actual values for the duties (Ensure selection of goods item including delivery cost items)
    4) Save the LIV document
    5) Check PO item history got updated with IR-L and DCIn. (IR-L will updated with zero amount)
    6) Do  MIGO w.r.t. IR document number.
    7) GR FI document will get updated with the non-set off duty values only.

  • Can pricing requirement be used for manual header condition

I have a manual header condition ZCR1 which will be entered in a sales document with doc type ZAB1. When this sales document is copied into another sales document ZAB2, I want that the manual header condition ZCR1 is not determined. Can I do this via pricing requirement? Or should I use alternation formula for condition base value and make the value of condition ZCR1 to zero when the document is copied into ZAB2.
Both the document types are using the same pricing procedure. In copy control for all item categories from ZAB1 to ZAB2, pricing type G (Copy pricing elements unchanged and re-determine taxes). ZCR1 is a manual condition in the pricing procedure used.
    Regards
    Javed

    Hi javed
If you want the ZCR1 manual header condition should not be determined then you need to change the pricing type in the copy control but if you assign a requirement in the pricing procedure for ZCR1 condition type  then you cant enter the ZCR1 condition type manually also as you are not meeting your requirement.
Another option is you have to create a new requirement with the help of Technical consultant ans assign it to the  header condition type in the pricing procedure requirement feild . giving inputs to your Technical consultant that The condition type  should not be determined

  • G/L account item without tax code in document with deferred taxes

    Hi ,
While releasing the billing document to accounting i get this error " G/L account item without tax code in document with deferred taxes". Not able to release it to accounts. What could be the possible reason??
Actually, this error is occuring only when i am using a Discount Condition (Z Condition).
Please guide what could be the problem in the Discount Condition?
    Thanks and Best Regards

whats this Z condition type. Is it  a tax condition type. If yes , please check the tax code assigned to this in the condition type defintion (VK12) and in FTXP check if this code is assigned with Account key.
Also in the pricing procedure, if this condition is Active (not statistical) whats the account key assigned to it. Then check  whats the GL Account assigned to this Account key (VKOA).
Then in FS03 , check this GL account number and under "Control Data" whats the Tax category maintained. You can have a * for the tax category here.
    Hope this helps

  • User exit to copy Manual pricing conditions with in sales documents

    Hi all,
I have a situation where i have to copy the manual pricing conditions from inquiry to quotation.
Problem: From VA21 when I try to do the same using the tab "create with reference" the document is being copied but the manually set pricing condition in the inquiry is not being copied into quotation. This is because in the copy controls the pricing type is set to 'B' which means "carry out new pricing". I can change it to 'C' or 'D' so that it copies manual pricing but i am not allowed to do so because other sales orgs in the company has a problem if i do so. Only our perticular sales org needs this config. I cannot even create another item catogory specific to this plant because it is against the rules of the company. So I am looking for a user exit in which i can change this pricing type during runtime so that i can plug in some code specific to this sales org to copy manual pricing. I have found one from the SAP note 24832 (MV61AFZA). It doesn't work as i think its obsolte. Can anyone suggest me a better way of solving this issue. Any quick response is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Giridhar.

  • Pricing condition for Taxes in R/3 not being calculated.

We have SRM4.0 in classic mode with R/3 4.6C. In SRM we configured Tax calculation is in R/3. When creating the shopping cart, EBP calls R/3 via RFC for the Tax % and displays the tax information in the cart successfully. The cart is saved and the completed PO is created in R/3. However, our pricing condition for tax, at Pur.Org/Material group in R/3 does not get calculated - so in the item condition screen, no tax is calculated. If i go into the change PO and in Item conditions/Update, (G-Copy Pricing and Redetermine taxes) then it is OK (but this is not ideal). When i do an RFC trace, using RSRFCTRC, i can see my Pur Org, Material Group and Tax code all being passed to R/3. Also, when i do a manual SE37 test on funct.mod. BAPI_PO_CREATE, it does calculate tax correctly - i am stuck - any help appreciated. rgs Adam

  • Manual price condition (%) in order creation (using ABAP)

    Dear community members,
I could use some help on a problem I have encountered while creating a sales order (in the CRM system) using ABAP programming, the details are given hereunder:
I have two manual price conditions used to set a possible discount, one using a straight value and one using a percentage:
    1. When the order is generated using the value (let us say 100€) it cointains the correct price condition.
    2. On the other hand, when the order is generated using percentages (i.e. 10%), it is created without explicit errors or warnings but with no price condition in it.
For the latter case I have checked the IPC logs (from transaction SM53) finding this error message:

I have already debugged FM CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN but to no avail, maybe I just missed something and I can assure that the customizing is correct and aligned between the systems and both the conditions are set to be processed manually.
At this point, since the condition is applied when the commit is yet to be done I wonder whether it is possible to apply a discount percentage on prices which are yet to be generated, it would be illogical to do so and then again while using a straight value (which does not require a calculation) the order is correctly generated.
Furthermore when I add the conditions in an order (from both the GUI and the WUI) the table IT_PRIDOC is alway empty, even if CT_INPUT_FIELD is populated.
I know that there are similar posts here in SCN but sadly I was not able to find a solution so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any replies given,
    Alessandro.

    Dear Padma,
apologies for my late reply. I also thought it should be possible to use a percentage but I was not sure.
Sadly the debugging did not bring about any positive result.
I also tried to make a second CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN call after the system generated all the pricing conditions but that also did not work.
There is one thing that caught my attention though:
    - YSCV (fixed amount): still no problem at all (passed to KBETR);
    - YSCP (percent): if I assign a value to KWERT or if I leave all the fields empty, the condition is created in the sales order but it is always set to 0%. However, if I try to assign it to KBETR, I always get the message: "Condition YSCP cannot be processed manually".
I made some attempts with the customizing, for example adding the condition to the "easy entries" or playing with the options of "Create Condition Types" (always aligning the systems) without getting positive output.
I am beginning to think that it could be an IPC-related problem (which is not my area of expertise... yet).
    Alessandro.

  • Freight Condition in PO

At time of Creation of Purchase Order, we donot know the exact amount of freight etc.
The Material Supplier is not the Transport vendor.
Hence ,we need a Pricing Condition under planned delivery charges , which will not be displayed in Print out and does nt get added the PO print Grand Total.
And while doing LIV we can account frieght under Planned delivery cost.
We are not comfortable with the (subsequent) direct debit to material is MIRO,
as it is an audit problem since we donot have the track for which Purchase Order it is accountable.
And it hits the Price difference account.
How we can built this condition in SAP .
what are the basic things to be taken care to configure this requirement?

    Hi,
Create a new condition copying existing freight condition FRA1
keep the condition category as B delivery costs-creates the separate line item in migo accounting doc
then make that condition manual entry has priority - u can put freight value in PO
Make it accural tick -it will post to provision for freight account
    IN SCHEMA
dont put X - IN print column it will not get printed
assign account and provision key and assign account for provision in schema FR1 etc
make the condition statistical tick-it will not add to the gross price
when you create po add value of freight - no value addition to netpr add freight vendor
IN GR seperate line item for provision account
IN MIRO select delivery costs and pay to freight vendor
    do let me know
