Mask multiple movieclips from single mask

Hi,
h have big movieclip 450X350 and there are many small thumbnails i need to mask those from big movieclip, I need to animate those so that i can't put those in a single movieclip, Is it possible to mask multiple movieclips from single movieclip...?

If you want to mask them using Actionscript then you should be able to place them inside a movieclip/sprite as separate animations/movieclips and then assign the mask to the container.
You can mask multiple layers under one layer if you use the timeline

but these thumbs are is not showing masked.

Is this not possible to mask all movieclips through one movieclip, without putting movieclips into single movieclip.??

72. This will allow services in your primary environment to find
services in your connected environment. However, there is a bug
reported on this feature which is fixed in 2F4 for the HP and H1 for all
other servers. The following is from Forte:
The connected environments bug that was fixed in 2F4 is #24282. The
problem
was in the nodemgr/name server source code and caused the following to
occur:
Service1 is in connected envs A and B.
Client has env A as primary, B as secondary.
Envmgr A dies before the client has ever made a call to Service1.
Afer env A is gone, client makes a call to Service1 which causes Envmgr
B to
seg fault.
You should upgrade your node manager/env manager nodes to 2F4. The 2F2
development and runtime clients are fully compatible with 2F4 servers.

or if your lowest level is the same like
Day->month->year->Total
Day->businessMonth->businessyear->Total
Then yes, it is.
Create the first, then you start to create the second by adding your top(business year) level on the same level as the one you have (year) both under your total.
Then when you would add your second base level, there is a special option for it, something like use other hierarchy level/shared level (sorry can't recall and does not have a connection right now) then you select your existing day level under your businessmonth level.

Yes, you can do this in your Smartform driver program.
Each time you call you Smartform function module you will need to change the values in structure OUTPUT_OPTIONS slightly.
On the first call set TDNEWID to X.
After this, set it to space
On the last form set TDFINAL to X.
This will put all of the output into one spool request, in the order they are called in the program.

Multiple dimensions from single logical table

Hi,
I cannot seem to create multiple dimensions based one one single logical table. For example, I have a Time table from which I'd like to create a calendar time dimension and a fiscal time dimension. However, as soon as one dimension is created, I cannot create another dimension from the same logical table.
Is it possible?

If I understood your requirement correctly you need to create multiple Hierarchies out of a single Logical Dimension table, this is possibe the base rule for creating a hierarchy is you should have a common starting point( Grand Total Level) and a common ending point( Detail Level), first create this and create sublevels and share the Detail Level as a child. This will allow you to create multiple hiearchies out of a single dimension. One level will have drill down on the Calendar dimension and one one the Fiscal and both will have the common detail key like day key.Hope this helps.

Call Multiple Files From Single ColdFusion Scheduled Task

Our host only allows us to have 5 scheduled tasks per account but we need to run cfml applications to import data for multiple sites (at least 15 processes). What I'd like to do is combine all the 'sample requests' for all sites into ONE scheduled task that will run them one after another thus cutting back on the number of scheduled tasks needed.
We're using ColdFusion to connect to a MySQL DB to gather all sample requests. First the app retrieves all the unflagged records from a remote db then begins looping through all the returned records. On the each loop, the app 'scrubs' the data by properly formatting phone numbers, fixing address abbreviations, etc. Next the app saves the scrubbed data to a local MS SQL table then starts the loop over on the next row. Lastly the app sends out an email saying it has completed successfully.
What I'm trying to do is Create a New Parent App that will run as a scheduled task to do the following:
- New Parent App Runs as Scheduled Task and calls/includes first of X sample request app files
- New Parent App runs first sample request app as described above (which can take up to a minute to process)
- Parent app waits until after first sample request app completes, then Parent App goes on to second sample request app, etc.
- After all sample requests are complete New App sends completion email with date and time
The problem I'm having is getting the scheduled task to wait for apppage1.cfm to finish before loading apppage2.cfm and so on. Can you give me a simple codeset that accomplishes this?
I've attached a sample of the include page the needs to complete before moving on!

Our approach is a bit more comprehensive.
First, we (meaning my co-workers) wrote a custom tag that does something like this:

Then our actual scheduled job go like this:
set a really long timeout (and none of the actual jobs can have their own timeout)
set some variables
use the custom tag for each job we want to run
send mail if any errors occurred.

I have created in the parent, a form with 3 fields and an update button.
the child records all have multiple columns, 3 of which correspond to the parent.
Athe parent is bound to the child records by the shipmentID
I need to be able to update all child records from the form in the parent.
The case is this.
The child records are orders with shipdates and frequencies
The parent contains a form with fields for shipdate and frequency
The administrator needs to change the shipdate and/or frequency for all child records.
(The child records are forms as well--but that's another issue that works fine)

Multiple idocs from single flat file

Hi All
I want to send data from a flat file to SAP(file to idoc)
My flat file structure is
id,name,number,city
2,R1,234,SD
2,R2,457,MD
3,R4,789,HG

The Field 'id' will change..after every change in 'id' ,seperate idoc should be created.
I have checked the following thread.

In the above thread ,it is asked to map v.no with remove context and use SPLIT BY VALUE on value change then do the mapping accordingly ,you can create 3 idocs for the same.
I'm confused about how to do these mappings.
Please explain the mapping in detail.

DHCP - UDP 67 and 68 Multiple Occurrences From Single Host

Hello Forum. On our core switches I've captured clients using port 68 destined to a broadcast address 255.255.255.255 on port 67 throughout the day. Within a hour period some stationary Windows 7 clients can be found doing this at least 4 times.
So, what can be causing a client to have this behavior throughout the day? Is there a setting I should change on the client or on the DHCP server? Thanks.

Hello Sandeep, in this case the ip request would be recieved from the same voice interface on which the ip helper-address was assigned.
By using the ip helper-address command, a router can be configured to accept a broadcast request for a UDP service and then forward it as a unicast to a specific IP address

Patching multiple instances from single unzipped patch

Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to patch two Oracle Apps instances on two different machines from common shared patch location.
For eg: two instances -ABC on S1 and XYZ on S2 are to be patched. The patch is unzipped in a common,shared location - /stage/<patch_no.>
Can I apply the same patch in the common location /stage , to both ABC and XYZ AT THE SAME TIME?

You can patch from a common NFS mountpoint. If you have different applications users, ensure they are all in the same group, and the staged mountpoint has group write permissions.
This works best on Linux. On Solaris, almost 100% of the time when the patch is more than 1 GB in total size, NFS hangs on the checking file versioning stage of the copy portion. The only way to clear the hung NFS is to reboot the server that is being patched, then restart adpatch. So on Solaris, I normally copy to local filesystem whenever the patch exceeds 1 GB.

How to handle multiple requests from single client??

I wrote a client server program to handle requests from client.I have 2 types of requests, one is to submit comments to the server other is to view comments on the server.I have tested the app and it works fine for either of them(independently) but they don't work both together i.e when i submit a comment and view it,it's stuck and when i close the program it gives SocketException :Connection reset.
on client side:
My request is just a string
on the server side:
I check the string and give the client what it wants.
I want to know if there's any other way to send requests other than passing it as a string.
I can post my code if needed.

Windows Updates deployment to multiple os from single package

Hi,
I have installed the SUP on standalone primary site, and made a collection for Windows Client os 7,8,8.1,XP and Server OS 2003,2008,2008 R2,2012,2012 R2.
I have done Software synchronization, my question is can we make the single package of all the OS updates and deploy this to any OS collections ??? is this way the only right package will be install to right OS..( the xp updates will be install to xp machines
only and server 2012 updates will be install to 2012 servers only) , is any impacts for other os ??
I hope updates is intelligent and it will check first the os ver than only install.. please correct me if am wrong here

Absolutely you can and yes, the solution is intelligent enough. You can use a single deployment package for all your updates. As Nick says though a SUG has a hard limit of 1000 updates.
